Relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff

The upside is that the stuff is very nice. But the coffee is watery and the atmosphere is like in a McDonald’s place. A coffee place should definitely make good coffee and be cozy.

Good mocha frappe but not cheap

I have visited Knutsford Costa for many years now. Always good coffee on every visit. Excellent staff service. Always very frendly.

Lovely store in Knutsford! Staff are extremely friendly, absolutely nothing too much to ask and quick at queue busting. There is a pretty wide selection of food for a coffee shop. I got a Mac and cheese (delicious!) And a small bag of brownies (also delicious). It's quite tucked away on the high street but a lovely stop for a drink and a snack!

Always enjoy eating at this Costa. Today was extra special as I was having lunch with my Niece and my Great Nephew who was celebrating his 1st Birthday.

This is my go to Coffee shop in Knutsford.

Walking through Knutsford and got to Costa pretty much bang on closing time! Felt bad popping my head in to see if wouldn’t mind doing me a latte, as have experience working in hospitality and wouldn’t normally do it myself! Friendly service and sorted it out for me, top stuff definitely worthy of a 5 star review. Thank you

I always come here for breakfast on Tuesday mornings. Lady taking orders is so kind and welcoming :) Also, the place is always lovely and clean.

This place is still dull and dingy, the place could do with a brightening up. The furniture is worn and looks dirty. The place itself was just miserable but the staff very pleasant and helpful,a shame they have to put up with it. Service decent Coffee nothing special, typical Costa stuff.

after purchasing multiple items such as drinks, i had been denied the right to enjoy my drink with a small chocolate bar i had brought elsewhere. i cannot believe this, they had rudely excluded me and my friends as we are students and even went as far to get someone to escort us out. WE WILL NOT BE COMING AGAIN. terrible…

Nice coffee and great staff BUT the facilities are grim… it’s old and dated and super dark. The tables are always sticky and the sofas and chairs are dirty!

I come here a lot with family as it is our go-to coffee place. The drinks and food is nice and the same goes for the staff. Although, there is one girl who comes off a bit snappy, my mum once asked for something behind the counter and the lady said, "I wanted that" Despicable! 9/10

Very busy when we called in but the staff were very efficient and good to see when people left that the tables were cleaned thoroughly.

Prefer this to Starbucks. Flat white is more generous.

Two 10 year olds bought 2 hot chocolates and were then told they weren't allowed to stay in and finish their drinks by 2 members of staff on 21/12/2021. They were sent out to finish their drinks in the street at approximately 1600 when it is dark. The 2 costa staff said it was 'knutsford policy' due to a spate of thefts recently. On checking this today with the manager, both staff members were utterly wrong/misguided and potentially put those 2 young boys at a greater risk on the street as they were unaccompanied. From a safeguarding perspective, the 2 costa staff were happy to take the boys' custom but showed no regard for their safety by sending them out.

I love coming here. The staff are great and the shop is cozy Also, toilets are kept clean which isn't always the case in some costa branches..

Efficient friendly service, good coffee

A dull and pretty dark place, could do with decorating. Staff very helpful and friendly. Tables cleaned and cleared quickly. Toilets clean and tidy. A general run of the mill Costa

Coffee great as usual but parents on next table oblivious to the noise and shouting of their children on another table. Had to leave to relieve my headache.

Can't go won't work a Costa to be fair. Obviously I know people might prefer an independent, but if you're in a new place, you know what you're getting. In this one though, the staff are always friendly and welcoming

Nice place ay the heart of the Knusford

Staff are polite but usually slow and a long wait whatever size of queue. And every time I go the toilets aren't clean which especially at the moment isn't great.

Would leave 0 stars if possible!! Arrived at 16:28, door open a customer sat at a table to be told that the shop was closing early today. The girl behind the counter clearly wanted to help when I mentioned I only wanted an iced coffee but again the fella assured me they were closed. Won’t be going back!!

This is a dreary place, the colours don't help. A typical Costa coffee. just a miserable place. Staff very friendly and very helpful, quick to clean and clear tables. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Clean Very Friendly and a cool place to have a Mocha. Over business meeting for two. When I say cool I meant temperature as it was 26'C outside.

The manager has the appalling habit of referring to all her customers as " Darling " which lacks professionalism and employee customer training. This really needs to be addressed by regional management asap since it is costing this retail outlet in sales and profitability.

Three of the staff on shift was very lovely and helpful, it was a shame that one rude staff member had to ruin it for the rest of them. She was shouting at customers and co-workers unnecessarily and maybe atmosphere very tense. She really let the team down unnecessarily

Very poor experience, I was queueing to get a coffee with my daughter, the queue was long and I needed to go to the toilet so I went to go. I was reprimanded by a member of staff and told to get back in line until they had taken my order. I stated that I needed the toilet and was told I had to wait! Needless to say I left and found a lovely coffee and toilet in a different cafe. In these strange times with public toilets closed in a lot of places this was not appreciated. Very rude staff!

There is nothing too wrong with the Costa in Knutsford, the coffee is okay and the staff are friendly and helpful. It just seems a little worn and lacklustre.

Not as good as normal we asked to have our banana bread tosted the girl behind the counter said she had only put it in for 20 seconds but it's normally done on a scones setting so it wasn't very warm as we normally have it .

Glad to be out of the heat in a comfortable air conditioned Costa. Just had 2 teas and a little bag of some of the best tasting shortbread I have ever eaten they just melted in your mouth mmm

Came on Sunday morning and whilst I appreciate everyone has to learn the lady making the drinks was more interested in chatting to the customers instead of making the drinks and actually getting them right. Two lattes with soya milk, one medium one large with an extra shot. Waited in excess of 29 minutes and then she sadly got it completely wrong. It was such a busy time the others there should have stepped in to help rather than see her become a little flustered. Come on Costa train your staff perhaps at quieter times but support them too!

I am from Canada but spent some time in this Costas when in Knutsford on business. I liked everything about it.The staff were great and certainly different pastries than what I am used to. I was very comfortable there and got a lot of work done.

We are a group who meets regularly every weekend for coffee and a chat. The team are all friendly led by Stacey who makes sure things are done properly and that folk are happy. We wish them all well and hope they are keeping safe in these difficult tiimes. Once the café is refurbished it will be even better-not the best decor/environment

I collect food that would otherwise go to waste as a food waste hero distributing for Olio a national network combating food waste. All this week Costa knutsford donated amazing food which I passed on to local charities for homeless plus families in isolation and the emergency services at Knutsford M6 services and ambulance station. The team @ Knutsford Costa are amazing they are so polite and helpful they really care about their customers and the community... they're even giving free coffee now to NHS staff now their on takeaway service!

Really friendly team in Knutsford

Used to go in here regularly, maybe 3-4 times a week, staff were always friendly, place was clean, service was quick. Then it changed over night a few months ago, new staff and manager, miserable as sin staff, sugar stand moved into a place where it’s now in the way, overflowing bin behind the counter, jugs and milk now in the counter so you have nowhere to stand to accept your drink. As for waiting time, WOW, i could find a cure for baldness in the time it takes to get served, last time i went in it took 15 minutes to serve 4 people, ended up walking out. This cafe needs to close, it’s a disgrace.

Not a good experience as much of their products were out of stock and none of the toilets were working. Altogether a very poor Costa, probably won't visit again.

I very much enjoyed my time at Knutsford Costa and the attitude of all of the staff was extremely good. One individual (Ellis) stood out to me as he was constantly making sure tables were clean and doing what he could to get products to people on time. Very happy with the overall service of all the staff and would reccoment

Like most coffee shops, they can't make a decent cup of tea, water not hot enough, the service in knutsford is pretty slow, that said, I do visit often

Great place to catch up with friends. The service was slightly slow but there were a lot of customers with big orders. The place could have been a little cleaner. All in all, a great visit. Will be returning.

Disappointing experience. Over 30 minutes to queue, then got our chai latte to discover it had been made with coffee... deaf unfriendly with the coffee machines backing onto the seating area so it was really noisy. Dirty toilet with no loo roll. Wont be back.

Nipped in for a coffee- after waiting for 10 minutes to still receive a drink I gave up and left. 4 staff on but incapable of anything other than snail’s pace indifferent service.

On my last two visits the coffee shop was closed, this was midday in the middle of the week and at around 2 o’clock on a Sunday afternoon! There was no information posted on the door as to why the premises were closed only a sign advertising for staff! Being a regular customer of this brach I have notice a gradual decline in the way this branch has performed; from stale food to ignorant and poorly trained staff!!!I today learnt from another brach that the recent manager was under suspension (this I can understand following his performance at said brach)! After his suspension the rest of the staff walked out! I would have thought that the area manager would have at least paid a visit to the brach and posted a note explaining the temporary closure due to staff problems!!!

Bad attitude because I requested my toast have more time under the grill. Handed back my toast, no smile or apology from the girl behind the counter. Returned with my toast no word spoken just slam the plate on my table. Bad attitude more training on Customer Service for you.

Terrible system with lazy staff leading to long queues .however,there is very few options in knutsford for coffee so it is understandably busy.

5 stars to for the young lady who served us today. Her name is Ally, lovely polite girl...service with a smile at the end of the day, nothing was too much trouble.

Cold, too much air conditioning

Popped in with a friend who wanted a cooler. A tray of sandwiches and toasties were left out on the counter presumably for sale. Should have been in a chilled area...not sure how long they had been left out...

Extra hot soya Latte and delicious vegan cookie. Couldn't ask for more.

Always busy staff don't have hardly any time to clean tables they need to employ a table cleaner dedicated to tables only most of the time the public just move the trays to other empty tables so that you can sit down. The Costa in alderly edge is even worse at times.

Service and coffee ok but the surroundings could do with an upgrade, the walls had stains on and the pictures looked like they haven't been cleaned since they were put up, toilets no better.
