Fantastic food, always busy. Use this on a weekly basis to get lunch and every so often for a frozen dinner. Their sausage rolls and huge scotch eggs in particular are amazing.

I wanted to buy a selection of cheeses to put into a hamper I was making up. I thought I would support local business and went to Dyers in Fetcham. I asked the sales assistant if she could label each of my small my selection with the type of cheese but she said she could not and that I could do it myself as the details would be on my receipt. When I saw the selection many looked similar and I could not identify what was what. I again asked the assistant if she could label each cheese as they had done this before for me willingly in the past. She quite brusquely and almost rudely told me she could not as she was too busy and I could write the labels myself. At the time there were two other customers browsing and there were other assistants behind the counter. I should have just walked out then but I did not want to go on a cheese hunt. I don’t know what charm school she went to, but good customer service was not on the curriculum. Needless to say, I will not be going back to that shop. 21st December 2023

This Deli sells delicious takeaways. The extraordinary good freshly made pies are superb. Good pastries, pasties rtc and ready made meals. Good friendly efficient service. There is free off street parking in front of William Dyer. It is well worth a visit

William Dyer is located the main parade of shops in Fetcham. This was a brilliant find for us, as they sell fantastic pies and pastries amongst other things. The service is friendly and efficient. Excellent all round

The Grange Rectory Lane Great Bookham
The People the Grange support will serve you at your table gaining experience of dealing with customers and handling money. This is an excellent and weel worth suppoting.The tea is served in the Victoriam conservatory. The cost is £6.50 a head for a scone, jam and cream with unlimited tea of coffee. Most enjoyable. The only minor downside is the start time of 2 o'close which for us is far too early 3 o;clock for tea would suit us much better and this is the only point thatwill stop us returning

24 West StreetThe food was nice (once it came out), but the service was really slow. We had to wait more than an hour for a roast and fish and chips, and it wasn't that busy (about 4 other tables).

27, The StreetThe worst experience having breakfast. Ordered a tea and came in takeaway cup sitting in.. with milk and teabag in together. Worst scrambled age I’ve ever seen they were like milk and upon asking the waitress why she replied the chef likes to use undercook them!! The salmon was covered in fat also which hadn’t been cut off when prepared! Awful experience would not recommend as had two bad experiences in this cafe with food.

Rusper Road, NewdigateI took my elderly mum out for lunch and when I asked for a diet coke, I was told that they didn't sell that and all cold drinks were in the cabinet. I asked if they had any other sugar free cold drink. I was told I'd have to look at the cans, or I could have water or a hot drink. I decided therefore to go without. The food = mum ordered the beef and ale pasty. It was so dried up and hard that she could barely cut it with a knife let alone her teeth! I did complain to the waitress who promised to feed back and waited a good 10 minutes or so as I thought someone might show some interest and come over. They didn't! I appreciate that things can go wrong in any business but it's how those things are dealt with that seperates the good from the average.With so many choices locally, can't say I'll be rushing back.

245 High StFish cooked fresh to order. Light, crispy batter (not greasy). Nice chippy chips. Excellent customer service. Friendly staff.
