We had a lovely lunch at this place- very tasty paninis. They have a wide range of fillings for the paninis and I really liked that could have a whole one or half, and they are quite big, so half was perfect for me. Also they were crispy - whereas now so many places (like Costa etc) the toasties get heated in microwaves you lose the crispness - these were perfect. They do children's menu too which was good, and we had lovely big hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows. It is based upstairs in Warwick lane and really nice to be among the stalls and shops so it makes for an interesting place to sit. We managed to get a sofa so it was lovely relax on. Reasonable prices, very friendly staff and dog friendly. We will be back soon!

Doing their best within the current restrictions. Great coffee but the non-availability of gluten free options is lazy and using COVID as an excuse not good.

Small cafe at the top of the Warwick Gallery, but well worth a stop and have a coffee or snack. The service is very good and the choice for a small cafe / space wise is actually very good both for something to go with your drink or a lite snack/bite - and at a very reasonable price too.

Our first visit to Wickham and we wanted to have some lunch before we went out walking. Limited menu but really different food on offer. The salads contain lots of tasty treats including olives and sundried tomatoes and served with lovely fresh bread And meat or fish. I felt like I’d had a real treat. It was just that bit better than what is usually offered in cafes.

Today Monday June 17th @ 1.45pm.We were greeted by a dark haired lady, who gave us a smile when served. My husband had a large black coffee and myself a vanilla milkshake(which is the best)when the drinks were brought over,no smile,no nothing. This is not the first time it's happened makes us feel uncomfortable.Think probably the staff need a lesson in customer service. The coffee shop itself is great, food yummy. My husband loves the strong coffee.I have over 40 years customer service.6 of those in catering.Catering is one of the hardest profession out.I so hope the customer service improves. There are others in Wickham we could go to.But we love this place.

This is by far one of the most unhygienic places I have ever been. The floors are disgusting the staff put the tea towels over their shoulders and their hair goes on them and then I witnessed the same tea towel being used to wipe the dishes in the dirty little kitchen.

It's easy to see why this coffeehouse gets great reviews, we discovered it by chance whilst looking for a light lunch at a reasonable price. The paninis are excellent and freshly prepared to order, if you want a "light" lunch go for a half, if like me you go for the full panini enjoy it will take a few minutes to get through. Great welcome, a good range of freshly made cakes and drinks, a bit of a hidden gem to those like us who were passing through.

We absolutely LOVE this place. We’re locals and are in Wickham a lot. The panini is fabulous. Loaded with meats and cheese and grilled perfectly. The salads are big and yummy. I always order a half salad. And, they have the option of a half panini too. The homemade breads are scrumptious. Note, my smoked salmon salad in the photo. That’s a HALF! The coffee Barista is lovely as it the wait staff. Sweet & friendly young ladies.

Around 1230 on a Sunday is perhaps not the best time to try and park in the 'square' of the sleepy village of Wickham, Hampshire. That said, if you are lucky enough find a space, then check out the Coffee house at the top of what could be loosley be called a mall. Seating can be tricky to find, and if you have difficulty climbing stairs, then this is possibly not the best place to visit. That said the panini's are huge and shareable. Afterwards the whole coffee area is surrounded by Bric a Brac sections where you can browse to your hearts content. Guess it's for those of us who remember such things as dolphins from Poole pottery etc. Well worth a visit for the food and coffee. But seating and parking can be a problem at the weekend.

We visit this establishment on a regular basis and find everything to our liking. The food is very good, the service excellent and their coffee probably the best in Wickham. What surprises us is the apparent lack of effort shown to promote this delightful little place. This place takes dime finding, as it is upstairs in a building converted to multiple small, covered trading units. The shops are interesting in their ken tight, with lots of little antique shops that reminded me of the AXA Healthcare advert :)Back to the Wickham Coffeehouse, this is at the top of the stairs, with about a dozen tables and chairs placed around the staircase balcony. My panini was probably the best I'd ever tasted, but I couldn't manage the 5 on my rating as I felt the seating was a bit too close together & whilst it's different, being almost in an antique shop area, it meant we had people very close to us & conversations were being overheard a bit too easily & I was interrupted whilst eating to move my chair so someone could get past.Only a small thing & as already said, the panini was excellent.

How can you mess up a Ploughman’s Lunch? Come to the D&C and see. Microwaved half baguette that went dry, crisp and stale immediately. Cheese was appalling. The worst type of cheap, tasteless, doughy cheddar. Pork pie that was missing the pork. We will not be returning.

We thought it was good but no more. The staff were very polite and attentive. Excellent sourdough (although would of been nice to be included on a £49.95 for 3 course lunch) and cracking pigs in blankets. Cured trout was a lovely light starter. Beef fillet although accurately cooked lacked the wood fired characteristics. A fillet really doesn't have enough time to get flavour from the wood fired oven due to its size. Other larger cuts of beef with some fat would be a better choice. Accompanying veg were ok but the cauliflower cheese again lacked any of the advertised 'wood fired' flavour and cheese sauce a little thin. We also thought this recently when dining in the Avenue restaurant what a shame there are no real local sparkling wines listed. Yes Ridgeview is in Southern England but some 70 miles away. You've got excellent quality producers like Black Chalk, Hattingley Valley, Louis Pommery, Raimes, Candover Brook and The Grange all within 10 miles.
