I came here a year or so ago and it was fine but today it seemed v overpriced, v slow service and mediocre food. I’m afraid I didn’t leave a tip, purely based on the fact that the staff (at least 3 that I saw) all looked like they had just rolled out of bed and not really ‘with it’. The orange aprons were the only indication they worked there. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but it wasn’t great. Nevertheless, it seemed like a popular place so I reckon I just came on a bad day.

Recently moved to Wendover and having friend to visit my new place. This cafe is less than 2 mins walk from mine and I’ve walked past a lot. Stopped in today for lunch and quite honestly found every part of our visit was excellent. Service - food - seating - ambiance perfect. I am thinking I will try every food place in wendover and this was number 3. It wins so far. I will be back. Thank you.

Was pre warned there would be a 20 minute wait for food when we placed our order, which we were ok with as it was very busy. However the wait was 35/40 minutes, with no update which gave us 20 minutes to eat our food before our parking ran out. Food was nice, but disappointed that we weren’t given a true estimate.

I’ve been past several times but never been in until last week. A sweet little cafe with a wide range of food and drinks. It was a shame nothing was marked as vegan though, although I was offered a bagel with hummus as an option. It was quite hearty actually and pretty tasty. Not a cheap place but friendly service and no long waits :)

Absolutely delicious and friendly, relaxed environment. We loved the salad and ciabatta’s, but could have enjoyed EVERYTHING 😄

We had lunch here for the first time with our son and 5 yo twin grandsons. Warm very friendly welcome, excellent service and very enjoyable tasty sandwiches and bagels with excellent coffee. We were served by the delightful Mabel and other staff members, all very pleasant and will will certainly visit again. Very busy with every table occupied.

I have visited many times after walks with friends. I like the menu as it has a varied menu for vegatarians. The food and drinks ate always delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The amounts are generous. What makes this place extra special is the staff team. They are always welcoming and helpful. We chose to sit outside on our last visit, we were offered seats inside but when we refused we were given two blankets each. Visited a local farm shop yesterday, the staff team there were all grumpy but that made me appreciate the service at Whitewaters even more. Highly recommended.

We ordered our drinks and food. Whilst waiting three orders were returned due to an issue with the bread. So we cancelled our food order as they hadn't started it yet. But what really put us off were staff touching their faces and hair then handling food.

Great lunch, good value and a wide range of options. A good place to have lunch whilst walking in the local area. Would recommend.

Last Saturday I came to White Waters for the first time. I was served by two lovely girls one named Mable and I can not remember the others name. It was close to closing time and although the staff looked tired they pout in an extreme amount to effort to make make mine and my daughters lunch the best it could be. One of the girls came to my table with our lunch dancing and had a grin ear to ear on her face, which was contagious meaning I left with the same smile. Was a great experience and would will go again.

Myself, the husband and my son popped into Whitewater for brunch last Saturday and we enjoyed every second of it! From being welcomed in, from not being rushed to order food or pay, from the staff making a fuss of my little boy, service with a smile, delicious food and reasonably priced. We couldn’t have asked for anymore. Thank you and we’ll be back soon for more!

I drive all the way from Watford to visit my friend in wendover but the real reason is so I can have the chicken and bacon club sandwich. That's how good it is.

Great service, large selection. I had a salmon and cream cheese bagel which was deliciously fresh. Served by a young man called Flynn who was very accommodating and personable. Coffee was delicious.

Plenty of colourful outdoor tables make Whitewater an appealing refreshment stop and by and large things went well, but the next table over had all sorts of trouble with their order - stuff being forgotten, arriving late and the like - and you got the impression that the Sunday morning staff weren't really on their game. Our order arrived in good order, if at a leisurely pace, and the only niggle was the toast in a very generously filled club sandwich had been allowed to stand too long before assembly and had become a bit dry and crisply, you really need a bit of buttery sogginess in a club sandwich.

Great beer a true traditional pub. Reasonable crowd size on Monday evening and unfashionably busy

A very enjoyable, traditional Sunday lunchtime roast dinner, with friends to this popular Bucks village pub. Clearly popular with locals & from further afield ... across the Beds border, in our case. Good selection of dishes to suit most palates, including sharing platters, vegetarian alternatives but we went with roasts, pork/slow cooked lamb rump & beef, all perfectly cooked & presented. Ample staff who looked after us very well, throughout. While sensitively refurbished to a high standard, inside, there are narrow doorways and different floor levels between a small "lobby", then into the bar or several other dining areas within, that may prove difficult for wheelchair users, best check with the owners beforehand.

Fantastic meal in the lovely Old Thatched Inn. Cosy atmosphere with very attentive staff. Will definitely be visiting again. Best scotch ever and one of the best fillet steaks I've had in a long time!
