Everytime visited here to eat the food is outstanding and ambience/staff lovely.

Went for a late lunch. Service was really friendly and quick. The food was pretty good on the most part, although the lunch items are quite small. The coffees seemed to be made without much thought and tasted lackluster.

Great food & Alex & Dan sang Happy birthday to me with a candle on the pud which made it a v special evening. Looked after us v well.

We had a lovely meal for my wife’s birthday the staff were very friendly and helpful we were waited on by Amy who was very friendly and attentive thoroughly enjoyed the evening

Dan was incredible from the minute we walked in he was chirpy and friendly. Nothing was too much for him very attentive. Thank you so much Dan and team. We will be back

We were served by Muriel who was lovely and friendly. The food was delicious and they had a great range of food available. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and I will definitely recommend it to everyone

Popped in for an absolutely delicious lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, the menu has a great range and there’s always something enticing on the specials board too ( make sure you have room for dessert!) Amazing service from Muriel, who was very friendly , helpful and efficient throughout. We’ll definitely be back, 100% recommended.

Superb service from waitress Muriel. Despite the place being really busy she managed to retain composure and a smile. Food was really good and we're keen to return and recommend to friends and visitors. Plush surroundings, good value.

Really nice Sunday roast with the friendliest and welcoming staff. Clean, tidy and nicely laid out restaurant that made for a perfect Sunday afternoon. We were looked after by Katherine who was very friendly and helpful, nothing was an issue. They offered a completely separate gluten free menu. Highly recommend for an enjoyable Sunday roast spot.

Not stayed in any of the rooms but have visited a few times for food

I had a lovely dinner here just before Christmas around the 3rd December it was smashing I recommend the beef cheeks and mash I ate it all and pudding too , paid good money for this meal and well worth it , well done katrina and debbie and Ellie for a gr8 service 🫶

I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening with my mother. It was lovely and warm something which was very welcome on a cold wintery evening. We were greeted by very polite staff and had delicious food. Definitely a place we will be visiting again and will recommend to friends

Great food, great staff We stayed from Monday to Friday. Staff and food amazing. New years eve was made to feel like we went there all the time. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble for them.

Called in last week for food, lovely welcome from the man behind the bar he was serving food and working the bar I think his name was Dan nothing was too much trouble for him and the food was top quality the mixed grill was perfect. Thank you 👍🏻

Had a Christmas meal there with friends. Lovely food and the service couldn’t have been better

As a family, we have always commented on how nice The White Rabbit looked when you drive in to Lyndhurst. And therefore It was a no brainer to pop in for a simple dinner on our way home. I’ll start off by saying it’s a great layout, open and clean. And the staff were really accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately I was seriously saddened by the state of the food. We weren’t expecting anything particularly special, and I appreciate it was a quiet Tuesday night. But if you don’t have a chef ( or cook ) who can deliver, the easiest of menus. (air fryer level cooking.) Please don’t bother offering people a menu and misleading them in to paying a £60 bill. I can only comment on the Chicken / bacon burger I had and a Gammon egg and chips one of my other guests had. But it started with a nearly 40 minuet wait for food. Even though I could see, there were only 4 small tables being used with in the restaurant. The bacon was barely cooked and the onions rings and chips were obviously sourced from the cheapest supplier. Which is understandable but this should be reflected in the price. My dad’s Gamon was “wet and tasteless and the peas were borderline raw.” And sadly felt unwell once he got home. I want to finish positively and make a point in recognising the cheerful and friendly front of house/ waitressing staff. Hopefully this was just a bad evening in the kitchen. I hope other guests receive a different experience.

We went yesterday as they do an amazing Sunday roast, and even more so they cater for gluten free and are hot on allergens The roast was really really good! We were served by Ellie, who was really friendly, attentive and took extra care with the allergens that we have. She took the order from my 8 and 11 year old daughters and treated them like adults (which they really liked! So thank you!) The vegan ice-cream was really good Definitely recommend here 👌

Visited family and came with partner and 2 kids. Staff were extremely friendly, attentive but in the right way and despite being busy had a quick chat with us and kids. Even gave wrapped Xmas books for the 2 children. Came back the next day with more family it was so good! Bunny served us on the second night, we didn’t get the name of the first but she was lovely too.

The staff at the White Rabbit are very friendly and helpful they put the effort in to make sure your stay is as good as it can be, the food is also very good we ate there every day breakfast and evening meals, all in all a very relaxing place to spend a few days or longer.

Very good food n service was excellent. Manager even asked us if we wanted to move to accommodate our dog, brought over a sausage n bowl of water for her, nice touch.

Popped in for lunch after a dog walk. Honestly such a lovely pub. Really friendly staff, great selection of drinks and the food was outstanding! I work for Greeneking and it's the best Greeneking food I've ever had. We will be back 10/10

Fantastic service, shepherds pie and steak pie were incredible, we had to share a bit of each! Christmas decs and music made it a really chill vibe and plenty of room for everybody too! 5 stars, well done!

Beautiful pub with the most gorgeous festive decorations which really set the tone of the pub. We had drinks in the bar served by Katherine and then food in the restaurant. Our servers were lovely and very attentive throughout the evening. Highly recommend

Rooms only got a 1* review as we have not stayed in them so can't comment on them Would we come again....YES Will we stay.... unknown at this point Location is great but the roads are horrendously busy during the day New forest walks just round the corner from the pub/hotel

We visited the White Rabbit on Boxing Day, myself and our family, which was a table of 11, had the most amazing food and day. The service was fantastic our service Munel was friendly polite and incredibly helpful. Our food was outstanding and fantastic value for money. We all would highly recommend it to anyone.

We were a large group of 42. We’d pre ordered from the Christmas menu. Tables were laid beautifully.. good quality crackers. Food was excellent and served efficiently.. everybody had a hot meal. Would definitely go back. A huge thanks to Bunny and team.

Visited the White Rabbit for a works Christmas meal & would highly recommend it. The food was faultless. Well cooked & good size portions. The service from Bunny & her team was super. There's a good range of beers which catered for everyone's tastes. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

My friend and I visited the White Rabbit on a Wednesday lunchtime. We received a warm friendly greeting on arrival and were promptly shown to a table. The menu was varied with enough options for vegetarians such as myself. We both opted for the cheese toaste which was served with fires and a garnish, and consisted of a combination of cheddar and camenbert and was a delight to the taste buds. The team of Dan, Debbie and Bunny are a credit to the company. Thanks for making our visit so relaxing.

We enjoyed a delicious meal for four on Sunday. The waitress Nicole was friendly, attentive and not intrusive. We have visited this restaurant on several occasions and have always been happy with the food and service.

This place has become a bit of a regular as we travel around the area. Had a great meal tonight with family and as usual the food was great. Thanks to Katherine and Katrina for looking after us. They kept us fed and watered through the whole night. Money saved due to using Tesco's vouchers as well. Really can't fault this place at all

I came to the white rabbit for the first time today and was the best place I’ve been to all year the decoration was absolutely amazing!! The staff are so lovely and welcoming! Bunny looked after us and she was absolutely amazing a lovely woman and made sure we had everything we needed the food was amazing service amazing just all round amazing and we will be back !

The food was fabulous & we were served by Bunny who made the experience great.

Parking was easy and access to the pub was good. The staff were great upon our arrival which was 15 minutes early. They seated us in a lovely dining area in a cosy area within a big restaurant. The staff communicated really well and the food took time but we were kept informed. It was to be expected on a busy day. Our food arrived and it was delicious. We ate a number of different starters as we were already booked with parents for Sunday roast at their house! The food was plentiful and tasty. The location is ideal when you are in the New Forest. Well worth a visit or two!

Had another nice break at The White Rabbit. Location is great to explore the New Forest. Plenty of parking. We had breakfast everyday ,so many options, and we ate here in the evenings as such a nice atmosphere and the food was great. We have stayed here a few times. Sometimes with family, sometimes with friends and we have all returned. What makes this hotel is the staff. They are such a nice team of people. The only thing that we feel needs attention is the rooms do need updating. They are looking a bit tired. Thankyou everyone at The white rabbit, we will see you again soon .

Great hotel in a great location. It's perfect for exploring the New Forest and it's dog friendly too. The staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. Bunny gave exceptional service and went above and beyond when we had a small issue. We popped in for a family celebratory Sunday lunch on the off chance to getting a table and we were lucky. The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly and relaxed. We all had the Sunday lunch and pudding. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They even welcome dogs. Out little one was praised by the staff as they didn't know he was there he was quiet and well behaved. Definitely go back.

Brilliant 3 day stay at this place....loads to do in the area...walking distance of Lyndhurst shops and restaurants.Lovely meals .....breakfast superb and we chose to eat here 2 out of 3 nights cos the food was so good. Very friendly helpful staff .Highly recommended.

We popped in for lunch, service was quick and friendly. The tables were clean and clear, Nd the toilets clean. We both had the cheese toastie off the lunch menu which was hot, delicious, nicely presented and fresh. Well worth a trip

Friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome. We would describe the food served as typical pub chain style. What we ate was average. The musroom pie was 3 button mushrooms in a very thick pie crust in a gravy which was like Campbells mushroom soup. I would have liked more vegetables, thinner pastry and a lighter sauce, but that's just my preference. The whole place could do with a good clean and updating, we had 2 dead flies on the window sill next to our table, the seats were stained and one had the foam exposed. Wouldn't rush to return to eat, but would go back for drinks.

Always come here for a reboot. Location is spot on for Lyndhurst high street. Bunny and all the other staff are so helpful and friendly you will want to come back. Food is spot on as well . All round great place.

Had a special of chicken cheese and leek pie, followed by sticky toffee pudding tonight. Delicious! We had Bunny as our server and she was super attentive. We will be back!
