I recently dined at White Rabbit and had a fantastic experience. Our waitress, Nicole, was incredibly friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome right away. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the waiting times were impressively short, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and look forward to returning in the future! 5*

Good location and fair price. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are a decent size and shower is great. However, very dusty carpet in our room and the corridor. My other half suffers from asthma but even I was affected by the dust. The gentleman who checked us and served us in the restaurant is very overworked and stayed polite and calm throughout a kitchen ventilation issue during meal time. Good place to stay for exploring the New forest by cycle or car (bike rental 5 minute walk)

First time we have ever visited and dined at the White Rabbit which is pretty poor show since we have lived local for years..! Three of us for a Sunday lunch time we chose from the extensive menu our choice was of roast which was an amazing experience of freshly cooked food brought in good time during a full house, our table host was Bunny who could not do enough to make the experience so welcoming, Just perfect,

We had a really enjoyable visit here! From the moment we walked in, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. It’s always lovely to be greeted with such genuine warmth, and their attentive service really stood out. The food was what you’d expect from a chain pub—nothing fancy, but well-cooked and satisfying. It was just what we needed for a relaxed and easy meal out. The atmosphere was comfortable, and we never felt rushed, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was the wonderful staff that really made our visit special. If you're looking for a friendly place with decent pub grub and great service, this is a brilliant choice!

Restaurant is so clean and beautiful decorated and the layout stunning with the large windows and views over the garden on sunny days as it was this weekend the sun adorned us inside and with a lovely ambience and atmosphere it was easy to while away the hours in good company at a pleasant location and good food and drinks. The menu offered a wide variety, and the drinks menu was just as good. The puddings were delectable. Spoilt for choice and seeing how good the steak and ale pie looked, I changed my mind after placing my order, and I was so lucky to be accommodated without any hassle. And i am so glad i did. We were a party of 5, and none of us had any complaints at all apart plenty of compliments. Thank you so much for a great day out.

We had a lovely day out with my mum and twin boys. We only stayed for dinner but the service was exceptional. Very friendly staff and Daniel the serve possibly manager went over and above to accommodate our orders with my family who let’s say are a little bit of a finicky bunch! All the staff did a great job, sorry I didn’t get their names. On top of this the food was perfect! Thanks white rabbit. We will see you again soon

First time at this hotel . And the service was absolutely amazing . The staff are all so friendly and welcoming . The food is delicious and not too expensive . And it's just a 5 minute walk away from the high street . I would suggest anyone in the area . Or anyone wanting a few nights away to give it a try . You won't regret it .

Really busy at breakfast, the server, I have forgotten her name was absolutely amazing service, it was fairly busy but checked in with us and with my very fussy kids. Think her name was Ethan/Muriel not sure which I'm so sorry.

Uber friendly staff, helpful and accommodating. Lovely quiet room. Plenty of parking. Clean. Good location.

The service was excellent, even though there were only 2 staff covering all the tables. Food was what you would expect from a large chain

Very nice pub with rooms. The room was spacious and the bed was a large double. The mattress was a little too hard for me. The on-site was adequate but could do with an upgrade to the shower. There was plenty of hot water. There was plenty of choice for breakfast - enjoyable but the poached eggs were hard 🙁 All the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I would stay there again 🙂

Manager/servers were lovely, fantastic food - I'd say reasonably priced. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay! Would definitely visit again when next in the area :)

Went for a late lunch. Service was really friendly and quick. The food was pretty good on the most part, although the lunch items are quite small. The coffees seemed to be made without much thought and tasted lackluster.

Everytime visited here to eat the food is outstanding and ambience/staff lovely.

Popped in for an absolutely delicious lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, the menu has a great range and there’s always something enticing on the specials board too ( make sure you have room for dessert!) Amazing service from Muriel, who was very friendly , helpful and efficient throughout. We’ll definitely be back, 100% recommended.

Really nice Sunday roast with the friendliest and welcoming staff. Clean, tidy and nicely laid out restaurant that made for a perfect Sunday afternoon. We were looked after by Katherine who was very friendly and helpful, nothing was an issue. They offered a completely separate gluten free menu. Highly recommend for an enjoyable Sunday roast spot.

I had a lovely dinner here just before Christmas around the 3rd December it was smashing I recommend the beef cheeks and mash I ate it all and pudding too , paid good money for this meal and well worth it , well done katrina and debbie and Ellie for a gr8 service 🫶

I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening with my mother. It was lovely and warm something which was very welcome on a cold wintery evening. We were greeted by very polite staff and had delicious food. Definitely a place we will be visiting again and will recommend to friends

Great food, great staff We stayed from Monday to Friday. Staff and food amazing. New years eve was made to feel like we went there all the time. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble for them.

Called in last week for food, lovely welcome from the man behind the bar he was serving food and working the bar I think his name was Dan nothing was too much trouble for him and the food was top quality the mixed grill was perfect. Thank you 👍🏻

Had a Christmas meal there with friends. Lovely food and the service couldn’t have been better

As a family, we have always commented on how nice The White Rabbit looked when you drive in to Lyndhurst. And therefore It was a no brainer to pop in for a simple dinner on our way home. I’ll start off by saying it’s a great layout, open and clean. And the staff were really accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately I was seriously saddened by the state of the food. We weren’t expecting anything particularly special, and I appreciate it was a quiet Tuesday night. But if you don’t have a chef ( or cook ) who can deliver, the easiest of menus. (air fryer level cooking.) Please don’t bother offering people a menu and misleading them in to paying a £60 bill. I can only comment on the Chicken / bacon burger I had and a Gammon egg and chips one of my other guests had. But it started with a nearly 40 minuet wait for food. Even though I could see, there were only 4 small tables being used with in the restaurant. The bacon was barely cooked and the onions rings and chips were obviously sourced from the cheapest supplier. Which is understandable but this should be reflected in the price. My dad’s Gamon was “wet and tasteless and the peas were borderline raw.” And sadly felt unwell once he got home. I want to finish positively and make a point in recognising the cheerful and friendly front of house/ waitressing staff. Hopefully this was just a bad evening in the kitchen. I hope other guests receive a different experience.

We went yesterday as they do an amazing Sunday roast, and even more so they cater for gluten free and are hot on allergens The roast was really really good! We were served by Ellie, who was really friendly, attentive and took extra care with the allergens that we have. She took the order from my 8 and 11 year old daughters and treated them like adults (which they really liked! So thank you!) The vegan ice-cream was really good Definitely recommend here 👌

The staff at the White Rabbit are very friendly and helpful they put the effort in to make sure your stay is as good as it can be, the food is also very good we ate there every day breakfast and evening meals, all in all a very relaxing place to spend a few days or longer.

Visited family and came with partner and 2 kids. Staff were extremely friendly, attentive but in the right way and despite being busy had a quick chat with us and kids. Even gave wrapped Xmas books for the 2 children. Came back the next day with more family it was so good! Bunny served us on the second night, we didn’t get the name of the first but she was lovely too.

Very good food n service was excellent. Manager even asked us if we wanted to move to accommodate our dog, brought over a sausage n bowl of water for her, nice touch.

Popped in for lunch after a dog walk. Honestly such a lovely pub. Really friendly staff, great selection of drinks and the food was outstanding! I work for Greeneking and it's the best Greeneking food I've ever had. We will be back 10/10

Beautiful pub with the most gorgeous festive decorations which really set the tone of the pub. We had drinks in the bar served by Katherine and then food in the restaurant. Our servers were lovely and very attentive throughout the evening. Highly recommend

We were a large group of 42. We’d pre ordered from the Christmas menu. Tables were laid beautifully.. good quality crackers. Food was excellent and served efficiently.. everybody had a hot meal. Would definitely go back. A huge thanks to Bunny and team.

We were well looked after by Debbie who greeted us when we were seated and looked after us in a friendly way. The food was excellent and provided in a timely manner. This was our third visit and we shall return.

Visited the White Rabbit for a works Christmas meal & would highly recommend it. The food was faultless. Well cooked & good size portions. The service from Bunny & her team was super. There's a good range of beers which catered for everyone's tastes. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

My friend and I visited the White Rabbit on a Wednesday lunchtime. We received a warm friendly greeting on arrival and were promptly shown to a table. The menu was varied with enough options for vegetarians such as myself. We both opted for the cheese toaste which was served with fires and a garnish, and consisted of a combination of cheddar and camenbert and was a delight to the taste buds. The team of Dan, Debbie and Bunny are a credit to the company. Thanks for making our visit so relaxing.

We enjoyed a delicious meal for four on Sunday. The waitress Nicole was friendly, attentive and not intrusive. We have visited this restaurant on several occasions and have always been happy with the food and service.

This place has become a bit of a regular as we travel around the area. Had a great meal tonight with family and as usual the food was great. Thanks to Katherine and Katrina for looking after us. They kept us fed and watered through the whole night. Money saved due to using Tesco's vouchers as well. Really can't fault this place at all

I came to the white rabbit for the first time today and was the best place I’ve been to all year the decoration was absolutely amazing!! The staff are so lovely and welcoming! The food was fabulous & we were served by Bunny who made the experience great.

Parking was easy and access to the pub was good. The staff were great upon our arrival which was 15 minutes early. They seated us in a lovely dining area in a cosy area within a big restaurant. The staff communicated really well and the food took time but we were kept informed. It was to be expected on a busy day. Our food arrived and it was delicious. We ate a number of different starters as we were already booked with parents for Sunday roast at their house! The food was plentiful and tasty. The location is ideal when you are in the New Forest. Well worth a visit or two!

Had another nice break at The White Rabbit. Location is great to explore the New Forest. Plenty of parking. We had breakfast everyday ,so many options, and we ate here in the evenings as such a nice atmosphere and the food was great. We have stayed here a few times. Sometimes with family, sometimes with friends and we have all returned. What makes this hotel is the staff. They are such a nice team of people. The only thing that we feel needs attention is the rooms do need updating. They are looking a bit tired. Thankyou everyone at The white rabbit, we will see you again soon .

Great hotel in a great location. It's perfect for exploring the New Forest and it's dog friendly too. We had a big party over Sunday lunch and the service was excellent, Muriel was attentive, polite, great with the kids and adults. Heard my wish for extra crackling and granted it! Great service, nice setting, fair prices. Thanks Munro and the team
