Absolutely lovely food as always, we didn’t book and they managed to find us a table on 23rd of December which was so kind. Great service from Matty, really funny and efficient thank you so much.

Just popped in for a Christmas drink, served by Lucy, very friendly and accommodating . Manager always very friendly too.

My boyfriend and I came in for dinner on the 15/12/24, we hadn’t booked but it was no problem. The woman who served us (Erin) looked after us and was very hospitable. The food quality was amazing and the food came out very quickly. 5/5 meal and service we will definitely be back.

This was recommended to me by a fellow foodie, she said the afternoon tea is halal so I thought I'd catch up with my oldest friend one afternoon a few weeks ago. I booked in advance for 2 at 2pm. I was on time but my friend was fashionably late so I ordered a drink before she came. It was a Wednesday afternoon so it wasn't too busy but there was a steady stream of diners whilst I was there. It had nice decor with it being the run up to Xmas and service was good. The afternoon tea included unlimited tea/coffee which cannot be substituted. As it was halal, no problem with substituting items on the menu for vegetarian alternatives which is usually what happens when you go for a traditional afternoon tea. This was a different take on the afternoon tea so there was halloumi fries,normal fries,a mini beef burger,prawns, chicken in a bao bun and some biscoff milkshake in a mini glass with a straw. This doesn't seem like a lot but because food is hot it feels more filling them eating cold sandwiches. I had an oat milk latte then a tea. Desserts consisted of seating raspberry Cheesecake, profiteroles x2 and chocolate, brownie s. My friend had a diet coke and the drinks were reasonably priced. There was also no 10%service charge which means our bill was just over £60.

Great little resaurant - couldn't get a table at Nandos so wandered round and tried West Ivy. Pleasantly surprised to get a table straight away and even more pleasantly surprised at the food choice. Didn't disappoint when it arrived so all in all a big thumbs up from us. Will defo go again 👍👍

Nice restaurant in the centre of Bury, worth a visit. Food is nice and has plenty of choice, but I personally found food to be lukewarm. I'm not sure if this is the holding area. Staff all polite and attentive to requirements. Small restaurant and certainly cramed full, again felted too squashed and a little uncomfortable. I get the limitations of the building though. Would return though to try again.

I absolutely love going there and always enjoy the food. Beautiful atmosphere and lovely customer service. The lamb Kofta hanging skewer is my favourite and of course you can't go wrong with biskoff cheesecake. Highly recommend 👌 👍

Ordered a chicken skewer. Absolutely not taste and dry. Didn't taste like a BBQ sauce . Would not recommend at all

Lovely lunch, staff very helpful.

Pleasant atmosphere and good service. The food is not so good and quite expensive for what it is, also alcohol is a bit on the high side. My meal was described as a philly Steak but arrived as a bit of a mixture stuffed in a roll, similar to some road kill. Summery will describe my view as we wont return, its a posh cafe with shall we say, attentive staff.

I visited with my friend a few days ago and had a fantastic lunch. I had seen West Ivy before when in Bury but had never had a chance to go in. I had the Philly cheese steak, and my friend had the enchiladas, both were delicious and came out within a reasonable time. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the decor helped add to the relaxed vibe. Our server Erin took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. I would happily eat at West Ivy again.

Myself and my fiancé came for the first time this evening for date night, my goodness it blew us away how amazing it was, the food was perfect, we had the lamb kofta starter and the hot chicken bites, Philly cheesestack and chicken and waffles mains, followed by biscoff/pistachio profiteroles, customer service was amazing! Our server holly was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond for us, overall a fantastic experience and we will be returning and also recommending to family and friends too! Thank you!

Hanging kebabs were very nice but partners double cheeseburger was burnt and definitely not worth the price. Staff friendly and nice though

The food is fantastic and well priced and the service is brilliant. We have visited West Ivy many times and it never disappoints.

Table 12 on the 5th Nov with my 3 grandsons and my wife. Promptly seated and our server was quickly on hand to help. Varied menu and we were all very happy with our food. Drinks were quickly delivered to the table and we had a very enjoyable night. Many thanks to Aisha for looking after us. We came from Ireland 🇮🇪 for the weekend and we will be back.

Food was good, but what we enjoyed the most (I was there with 2 friends) it was the friendly and punctual service. Good selection of wines & cocktails by the way, which is always a plus. Gluten-free friendly: another (BIG) plus!

Fizzy water served with wine not lemonade after asking when waiting for 20 minutes reply was we are busy . Daughter's dessert we asked for no raspberries came with them sent it back for it to return with strawberries she had asked for but still a couple of raspberries in the ice cream so obviously just tried to remove them. Toilets unisex and not clean toilet roll and urine on the floor , toilet seat wonky my son's 21st birthday meal won't return in a hurry!

Strange visit mixed. Long wait for food twenty minutes or so. Pleasant enough staff. Salmon sort of savoury crust was burnt I think salmon when I scraped it off was quite nice.

We have never eaten here before, bur was such a beautiful looking place! Food service was okay, it was very busy. We had to send our food back which was stone cold but the lady was very helpful and did it immediately. We ended up not having dessert as we said we wanted to order but was sat there for a good while with 3 kids and noone coming over. Food was alright, not really a place for kids to be honest, quote cramped but beautiful aesthetic

On arrival we were greeted and found a table for my husband and I - we hadn’t booked. The waitress was lovely and attentive and looked after us . The food was delicious.

Wanted to try here for a while. Our waitress Aisha (hope that’s right) was lovely and really helpful. Ordered the cheese fondue was stone cold and rock hard so was taken back and re heated. Main course was dry and lacked flavour. Wouldn’t rush to go back

We met up with some friends at West Ivy. It was our first visit and we came on someone's recommendation. The Ivy is good to look at both outside and inside. Outside there is a nice garden with light and heaters if it's a little cool. Inside a modern feel to the decor give a nice ambience. We were shown to our table, given the menu and asked if we wanted drinks which we ordered. A few mins later our drinks arrived. Served with a nice smile and a good discussion about the menu. We made our choices and sat back with our drinks and chatted . The food came quickly and looked and smelled delicious. I have the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza. This was the best Pizza I've ever had. Super tasty, sticky and a great BBQ taste. Everyone said their meals were really great and would come back again. So I highly recommend West Ivy. Good atmosphere Good staff and a great menu.

Chips missing from my partners iron steak meal, but Jack sorted it straight away. I ordered the chicken basket and the chicken was dry. Jack was brilliant, the restaurant was very busy for a Tuesday night, but he kept on top of our needs I couldn't fault him at all. Brilliant service

Visited this gorgeous place with my Sister before her hen do, very lovely decor, and was quite thriving so it was a great atmosphere! We ordered an Ivy Punch Cocktail each which was divine 🍒😍 and a meze to share, we also added in 2 lamb koftes for extra cost, they were unreal. All of the food on the platter was beautiful, apart from the olives, which neither of us like lol. Gorgeous time spent in there with very quick service and smiles all round! Will be returning ❤️

Mediocre food . Philly cheesesteak was tasteless. The buffalo prawn starter was smothered so couldn't taste the prawns.

I visited on a warm summer day and the seating outside was perfect! The food was delightful and I was so pleased that the whole menu was halal. I have never tried chicken and waffles before, a yummy experience for sure! Definitely an option for my eater friends out there! I also enjoyed the mocktails and coffee, so make sure you try them.

Food was excellent and the place looks lovely! Service was quite slow but that could have been because we went quite late evening. Overall a lovely place to eat!

One of my favourite places to eat in the whole of Greater Manchester, let alone Bury! The decor is beautiful and the space has been used really well even though it is quite snug inside. Stunning food! Definitely recommend the Cheesy Peppercorn Fries, it comes as a side but is a main meal in itself as you get loads! Also loved the Pistachio and Raspberry Profiteroles. Amazing!

They refuse to allow me to book in for a party of 16 people but allow me to make a booking for 10 people and a separate booking for 6 people. Ridiculous service/policies.

First time visiting West Ivy today after shopping at the rock and called in for a light lunch. I have to say that I was really impressed all around!! With a very modern and stylish inside, to prompt & polite service from the staff. Had the flat iron steak with camembert share, borad!! An oh my God 🤤🤤😋. If you love your cheese and steak, this is a must!! Heavenly all round, highly recommend, and deffo be having it again!! 😍 Would deffo be recommending too friends!! Certainly returning 🤩..

The food was lovely but the service definitely lets it down. Appreciate that small children may be an inconvenience and a bit stressful to a server if making a mess but imagine the stress on the parent. Felt the waitress couldn’t wait to get rid of us. Asking us whether we had finished our food whilst we were still actively eating and made us feel like we had to quickly pay the bill and leave when it was supposed to be a nice treat for my mum.

Had sweet and savoury afternoon tea with my partner. The service was outstanding, the 2 waitresses were lovely and really added to the occasion. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious, nothing could be faulted. We were stuffed at the end of it and extremely satisfied. We would definitely recommend it.

Daughters birthday meal , we where greeted with info that they had no soft drinks , no mixers etc so if you wanted a cocktail it was tonic only or fizzy water !!! Asda across the road how about nip for a few litres of fizzy mixers when you know you have parties coming in , very poor service !!! Disappointing night …

Hanging skewer. Delish. Plenty to eat, and the bill was reasonable for 3 of us. Waitress was exceptional. Looking forward to going again.
