Great pub , real turn around by the new owners. Food is back to its best.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! You will get served raw food and if you tell the staff they will pretend to go and cook it more. Payed the bill and tipped for RAW food. 2 MALES stood over a 13 year old and a disabled single mum while we were complaining about the raw food. Landlord is abrupt and rude. Landlord was bullying a DISABLED SINGLE MUM.DECLINED A 13 YEAR OLD TO USE THE TOILET .OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!! DO NOT COMPLAIN AS YOU WILL GET BARD IF YOU DO!!!!!

Food was a let down. Wouldn't call it tapas. It's a mixture of greek Italian and Spanish and some mexican. The flavours are not correct for the dishes. Not the correct spices being used. On the up side the beer choice is good. Top shelf is decent. And staff are friendly. The food might have just had an off day when I went. Because it seemed busy.

Staff were lovely but found the tapas to be horrible. The salmon tasted over cooked and to be honest bad to the extent it would have made you ill. Every thing else we ordered was highly spiced in the same tomato sauce , it was like having a spicy curry where you couldn’t even tasted the chicken or beef. My experience of tapas has never been like this so we won’t be returning even though they refunded 1 tapas. On reflection I should not have paid .

Amazing spot for tapas. If you are in the area, don't miss the opportunity to visit The Parkfield in Whitefield. Food, service and atmosphere all excellent! We particularly loved the minted lamb, chimichangas and gambas.. All dishes were delicious though. Looking forward to a Sunday roast at The Parkfield next time we're in Whitefield 👌

The Parkfield hosted my daughter's baby shower on Saturday afternoon and WOW, the whole experience was wonderful. The attention and help from all the staff was fabulous and they all made us feel very welcome. We had exclusive use of the whole of the dining room area and couldn't fault anything, from the initial booking (where we had a consultation with the landlady about how we wanted the event to run) to the actual day. We ordered the meat and potato pie and cheese pie (for the vegetarians) and EVERYONE commented on how nice the food was. The staff and landlady couldn't do enough to help and we would definatley recommend the venue if you are wanting somewhere for a party or celebration. Well done and thank you

Loved this place.Me and one of daughters were staying close by on our recent trip to Manchester.Dropped into The Parkfield Inn on the off chance of getting Sunday Roast and we were very impressed.What a fantastic pub.Really friendly young servers and just one of the best Sunday Roasts you will get.Very generous portions and such great value to. Very well done and thank you to the team at The Parkfield Inn for making our stay in Whitefield such a pleasure. You folks can sure cook and serve an outstanding Sunday Roast.

Just had the most amazing home cooked Sunday roast at the Parkfield Inn. The service was on point even though they were busy with other diners, but the waiting on staff had it all in hand. Alisha was very efficient ordering our food and drinks and checking on if all was okay. The portions are more than what you would get anywhere else, and the pigs in blankets are to die for ( and the gravy is just like your nan would make 😋😋😋) Would highly recommend, great value for money and looking forward to returning.

We held my daughters christening at the parkfields and our day was nothing short of perfect. The food was absolutely sensational with all our guests commenting on how delicious it was. The service was warm and friendly and pub it’s self is stunning inside. Owner Angela went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing short of idealic. The best pub in the area by a far mile. We will definitely remain locals in the future.

Friendly owners and a great atmosphere. We had between 70-100 friends for an event and The Parkfield were brilliant. Food was ten out of ten, great to see this local pub back on the map!

If you want a place that offers homecooked food and an amazing warm friendly atmosphere look no further. It has now become a regular of mine. The landlady is so lovely, the decor is warm and inviting and they offer a great variety of beers/lagers. Its not a place to be missed. Amazing place for great music

We’ve visited a number of times now and every time we’ve had such a positive experience. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into a relaxed environment. The wine selection is of a high standard; the land lady clearly knows her wine. We enjoyed a selection of small plates which were delicious. I would recommend the salt and pepper chicken and the lamb kofta. The service is wonderful and I would highly recommend a visit. Just fabulous!

Very disappointing experience which I won't be repeating. Cold dining area, lacking atmosphere and feels like the food was an after thought. The waitress tried her best but 3 request for tap water was excessive. We had booked and there was only us in the dining area. There were people in the main bar eating. We ordered Tapas to share as a birthday treat. Prawn pil pil in warm oil, not bubbling. Only ate half as the prawns were not right. Cold nachos, warm sausage wraps which made them unpleasant. Salmon fritters OK as was the patatas bravas. Paid up and left. It's unlike me to give a bad review but no-one seemed to acknowledge our concerns within the organisation. I always try to support local businesses but there are too many other places better and far more welcoming I'm afraid

Would love to review the food but if you NEVER answer the phone customer's cant book a table.

I have been a customer of the pub for over 25 years and have witnessed owners both good and bad come and go. Having asked the newest owners if they would mind me hosting a 40th birthday party in the pub for my wife, they could not have been more accommodating. They offered to cater if required, provided music for the evening, reserved 2 areas especially for those invited, allowed me to decorate the area with balloons and a cake and also helped me with pre arranged glasses of bubbly for when guests arrived. There was no issue with me bringing over 50 people to attend. All drinks were fully stocked which ive had issues with previously and everyone had a great night. I personally would be back regardless but those in attendance have now said they will be returning because of how welcoming and friendly the environment was and new owners were. Fab night, thank you The Parky - good to have you back!

I have to say as someone who's got 2 large breed dogs I was so glad to see the Parkfield was dog friendly. Both the landlord and landlady are more than welcoming towards all their customers and their fury friends especially my giant Saint Bernard! Marley is always made a fuss off! I felt compelled to write this as the last review is unfair and inaccurate towards the landlord and landlady. They couldn't be MORE welcoming to your WELL behaved fury friends! The pub itself has a great atmosphere and looks great since the recent refurbishment. I am proud to call it my local. Look forward to popping in this weekend and seeing all those happy faces and waggy tails! p.s can't wait to try the menu it looks great .

The Parkfield Pub in Whitefield Manchester M45 had been our local for years. It used to be a friendly welcoming place. Recently it's had new Landlord and LandLady. Although it is still advertised as being Dog Friendly, the new LandLady is afraid of bigger dogs and although she admitted our 2 German Shepherd dogs were well behaved, she asked us not to bring them again, as she said they were "Scary" and was frightening children. When asked which children they were scaring she said it was her who was afraid. We were sitting outside in the beer garden, one toddler had come over especially to pet our dogs, he loved them and our dogs were gentle and enjoyed being stroked by the 1 year old boy. How can you claim to be a dog friendly venue if only certain smaller breeds are welcome? We had bought food and 2 rounds of drinks before the LandLady told us not to bring our dogs again. She claimed the server was afraid to bring our meals to the table because of our dogs, yet the server (who had seen our dogs for years) said she was happy to serve us and loved our dogs. We were very offended. We will never go there again whilst the current Landlord and LandLady are there. We also noticed the bar staff are mostly new...

We were quite a large party but were well catered for - meat plated up and a wide selection of vegetables in bowls on the table for us to help ourselves too. Food fresh and hot.

No longer dog friendly. New Land Lady told us our 2 well behaved Alsations not welcome to return. A toddler had happily stroked them but the new LandLady was scared of them. We had previously being regulars for years 🤬 NOT DOG FRIENDLY #Avoid

Been a customer at the Parkfield for many many years. Seen it’s up and it’s downs and in all honesty i had not been for a long time due to those downs. I had a really good evening with my wife and 2 friends on a lovely summer night sat in the lovely rear garden area. We ate a good selection of food and that was all delicious. I really hope the new owners can make a success of a pub at the centre of the local community. We will certainly go back.

Just went for the small plates Sunday roast, food was excellent, amazing fresh Yorkshire puddings, great service and all round lovely surroundings, good luck to the new owners, there’s a real buzz around the place again and that’s great to see.

Went to the Parkfield inn for dinner, having heard that it had been taken over. The pub has been refurbished lovely, amazing new beer garden and the new menu had lots of choice. The food was very nice and the service was exceptional. Will definitely return.

Lovely small plates and drinks sat in the refurbished beer garden. Very tasty food, lots of variety and generous portions. Dog friendly. The new owners have done a great job in updating the place. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

food was not great - scampi was over cooked /deep fried, chilli with half chips and half rice - the rice was presented in a lovey dome - how ever was one solid rock. Pot pie was ordered with chips and peas - they forgot the chips and peas ! Gammon was ordered with cheesy chips - they forgot the cheesy chips! all elements were finally accounted for when one of the party went to carry the food to the table instead of the staff. No apology given only a 'we are really busy' there was one other table eating food ??

Have been many time for the salt and pepper chicken and lamb chops but this was the first visit for Sunday lunch. I love the fact that the sides come separately (throwback to tapas days) Out with sister and the kids and accommodated kids menu...

Pub is decent enough, although really lacking in ales. Staff friendly and nice. Dinner service finishes pretty early (8pm) so restaurant was emptying out at 7:00pm! Food was a mixed bag. Starters were forgettable and bland. The pate being the best one, but it was probably bought in. The sides like chips and mash were great, with the mash being the best thing we ate that night. We had a chilli which was kinda tasty but lacking in depth and forgettable. but our ribeye steaks were not good. They advertised 10oz which sounds ok, but it came flat like someone had tenderised it with a rolling pin. The steak tasted like a cheap rump or flat iron that had been flattened. Just disappointed really, I know they could do better.

Love the new menu and having somewhere local for proper roast dinner. BUT why can’t they get the beef right?! It’s overdone every time and I’ve asked for it pink but it arrives completely overcooked and dry. It’s such a huge shame as everything else...

Love this place. My husband and I come here with our 3 year old son and they are always so welcoming. Great atmosphere and fab staff who are attentive and friendly, who always seem to go above and beyond to make sure we all have a good time, especially our son. Food and drink is always enjoyable too.

I had my leaving party here 2004 on my way to Australia and the food that was prepared was amazing. I called in this evening for a quick beer and I was pleasantly surprised to see the chef was Chris he was the chef 16...

Outstanding food. Very reasonable. Recommendations prawns lamp chops and meat chesse olive platter. The chef always comes to check your happy with the food. Nice wine , nice midweek treat.
