Ordered 2 chicken kebabs with salad. Waited 2 hours. Received 1 chicken kebab with salad and one without any salad which is not what we ordered!

Don’t mess me around when I turn up for a pre- ordered meal I don’t expect to find that you have dithered over cooking the vegetable skewer that had plenty of time to be char grilled and as a quick solution was thrown into the deep fat fryer. Get your act together otherwise you will lose me as a customer.

Usually good, but the kebab wasn't as flavoursome. Garlic bread was overbaked and inedible.

Kebab was lovely, chicken pieces were dry tough, ate 1 and threw the rest in the bin. Value for money was poor today.

been using west grill for around 5 years. this has changed so much. have the owners changed? took 90 mins for a chicken kebab meat and chips and a bottled milkshake to arrive. (around a mile away) everything very greasy and the chicken was very dry and overcooked.

See the pics I posted. Very greasy, very overcooked chicken. Been ordering here for years, I suspect a change in owner has occurred for such a poor meal after so many good ones. Order took 90 mins to arrive on a Wednesday night, (from a mile away) was chicken kebab meat and chips and a bottled milkshake. Have eaten less than half of my horrible meal. Chips were nice, but the meat was dreadful

Ended up loosing delivery and went to collect in the end very poor. The shop offered us drinks to make up for it which was kind but I refused as it’s not their fault.

Not for the first time we've been waiting for our order, only for it to be cancelled without explanation. Really nice food in the past, but just so hit and miss whether it gets delivered or not. Won't be ordering again.

Always get a decent kebab and portion size from here. They messed up my last order, but they sorted it out very quickly and delivered what was missing straight away without any quibble. Recommend the chicken shish.

Best kebab house in portsmouth they do some times deliver to me i live in northend bit far away but if you chuck the delivery guy a few pounds u might get lucky 10/10 always

All food was cold, chips and burgers were chewy and the delivery guy had the cheek to try and add on an extra £2 to the bill when we had already paid £2 delivery charge previously by card.

Beautiful food, fresh salad and meat was not greasy at all. Best kebab we've had in a good while.

Decent place, nice staff, nice people, worth going to but it can’t be 5 stars because there’s zero excuse for a business not taking card in the 21st century, you shouldn’t be cash only, especially since you’re cash only for illegal/criminal reasons, many places like this run on a policy ot Take only cash, Go to the cash-and-carry. Pay in cash. Declare what you want to the taxman which is illegal and dishonest! I think honesty is the best policy and you should be honest with the taxman and declare what you make and be honest, I will probably comeback since I like it here however this is honest criticism and you need to be more honest with people.

Always a fast delivery. Same consistent service for the past 5yrs. Food is always hot. Although do avoid the pizzas they are not good at all. But kebabs and burgers are amazing. Salad is always fresh and tasty

Cheesy chips somehow ended up as a burger with bbq sauce seriously how can you mix that up

We order from here most Fridays as our weekly takeaway treat. Never had a bad experience yet and that has been over 5 years. The staff are always friendly if we go in and when ordering online never had an issue.

It's a massive shame that i am writing such a negative review because this place was superb at one time. The repulsive lemon flavouring in the chilli sauce ruins anything it touches. It's disgusting and completely overwhelms everything. I do not know how they have continued using it. There is also so much oil in the salad that it turns what should be a fresh ingredient into a slimy unpalatable mess. I had hoped things had gone back to their original quality but it seems these issues are long term. On a plus note the shish kebab meat was excellent quality and very well cooked.

I won’t be rude but the lamb kebab taste is terrible…You should change your meat wholesale…

Been ordering from here for years. They’re always very quick! The only bad thing I would say is that their pizzas are not great at all. Otherwise everything else is always great 👍🏻

The food is always beautiful from here. Super tasty! Unfortunately, tonight it was cold. It’s clearly a delivery issue not a restaurant issue. I would definitely recommend but maybe suggest better delivery drivers.

Me and the misses have been driving out to these from Havant for the past few weeks and it's well worth it for me the best kebab in Portsmouth and the pizzas are the proper homemade kind I highly recommend

My chicken donner was completely raw bright pink discusting

Delicious food and have used these for ages! Never had a problem but our food was an hour late last night and stone cold when it arrived. I will use this establishment again as their food is astounding but unfortunately I was let down by delivery this time.

Food was cold by the time it arrived so didn’t taste great either unfortunately. Called restaurant to see where our order was but unfortunately again, they were completely unhelpful. We do normally have good service so this was very disappointing.

One staff is very rude. I was just asking nicely for the price(in English) and replied arrogantly to me in foreign language. Obviously, I told him “I don’t understand”-and said to me “the price is all there!” Very rude, sarcastic and disrespectful to customers!!! I immediately leave and never to go back in that horrible kebab shop!! Ever again!!!😡

Carefully selected grilled chicken as my wife cannot eat deep fried, and low and behold, deep grilled chicken arrived, it was rock hard and I wouldn’t have even gave it to my dog…if I had one! Won’t be ordering again

Accidentally clicked twice on the order button but they was reluctant to refund me or give the money back. Then tried to order again with a fish finger meal. But couldn’t help me with that even tho it’s on the menu… staff are rude and can’t cater. It’s almost like they don’t want your service!

Hands down one of the best places for a Donner Kebab in the Portsmouth area. Always delicious and very generous portions. We used to live nearby and would go regularly. We moved abroad 4 years ago but came back during a recent visit to the UK, the kebabs were still amazing!

Food arrived cold. Kids burger was cold and chips hard and uneatable. Kebab was tasty but cold, pitta really dry/ stale like. Won't order here again. Had to cook for my daughter in the end.

Food was terrible! Burnt chicken. Only 4 pieces too. We ordered 3 with rice at £10 a chicken shish. No pitta bread for the 3rd time I've ordered from here. Used to rate this shop, but never ordering from here again! Worst food it went straight in the bin.

Disappointed in the food tonight. We always order from here. The chips felt re heated and just not great. We got 1 x wrap instead of 2 x pittas for our kebabs.
