absolutely incredible. the chips were the best we’ve ever had from a chinese place. the lady at the front was very kind and helpful. i don’t understand the bad reviews! i would definitely come back here it was great!

Had ordered once before and it was the worst Chinese I've ever had, but I thought I'd give them a second try and had another horrific experience. I'm not even going to go into all of the details but please listen when I say it's soo salty, I've seen the other reviews but I literally cannot explain how oversalted the food is. I really wish the chef would try it because it's inedible. Complete waste of money yet again, avoid!

Horrific food, stale and rubbery like rice. Paid £5.10 for sesame prawn toast. Literally 4 soggy pieces. Every meal between 5 of us was overdosed in salt. Really poor all round

Ordered via website, went to collect, they didn't have order, had to reorder. Chow mein was very salty, but I liked it, salt n peppa spicy beef was horrendously dried out, horrible. Curry didn't come with rice, not mentioned on website. Ordered the starters for 2.....spare ribs very spare! Chicken wings awfully dry. Everything too much salt. Sorry to say, a very unhappy husband, a waste of 35 quid and we won't be going back.

I ordered rice with sweet-and-sour chicken and spicy wings Both of food was very salty and rice is was very hard compared to other Chinese and the sweet sour was more salty than sweet sour. I didn’t taste sweet or sour. I don’t recommended , Sorry I have to be honest

Stale prawn crackers, bland, and way too much salt. Will spend my money in Golden Bowl next time.

Typical modern day Chinese takeaway. Most food is fridge/freezer to container, the days of fresh prepared food have long gone. Typical examples are sweet and sour Hong Kong style which now represents popcorn chicken with a sauce poured over. Saying that, this is one of the better cooked from frozen Chinese takeaway's in the area

Food was ok, Strangest Kung Po pork I have ever had. Cannot fault the sizes of the portions but they were so salty. Not to expensive so can’t complain too much.

Just ordered sweet chilli crispy shredded beef and house special fried rice with bbq sauce. There was no crisp at all in the beef, hardly any sauce in the rice and everything tasted of cardboard. The rice was topped with dried out inedible pieces of meat. A real disappointment- what was supposed to be a Chinese treat ended up in the bin after 3 mouthfuls. Never again.

Ordered a chicken chow mein. It arrived and was coated in so much soy sauce it was dark brown. So salty it was almost inedible and the chicken was dry. I ate a small amount and then spent most of the early morning and next day being ill. Never again.

If I could of gave no stars would of wrong order turned up when phoned to explain had them hang up on me worst chinese how you expect to keep customers is beyond me

Was checking where to order and read some reviews here and realised people complaint only for prices increases, not quality, so decided to give it try. Best chinese food ever and the prices are very reasonable. Food arrived quick and most important -HOT! I think most people missing a point, that food prices are going up in general. BBC was reporting the shortages of the shipping containers from China. Prices went up to £20,000 per container, from £4,000, so I suppose all authentic ingredient went up on prices. Keep up good work and I will be looking forward ordering again!

Been a valuable little kitchen customer with my friends since 2018 and very sad to see they've upped the box meal prices. Poor decision. Will not be back. That's about 5 box 2s a week they will lose now.

Disappointing food. Ordered chicken chinese noodles and tofu with bamboo shoots. The noodles were dry and half cooked, tofu dish didn't have any taste. Wouldn't recommend.

I ordered from this place once and it was great and I really enjoyed it, so I ordered again however the food was at a much worse quality. Since eating, I've not been able to hold down any meals, throwing up everything, starting with the meal I ordered. The food was unappealing and covered in grease and the prawns weren't cooked properly.

Every time I place an order with these guys I am never disappointed, perfect every time!! A lovely takeaway in the heart of Portsmouth!! Will always order from these guys 👍

Have eaten from alot of Chinese establishments, Little kitchen is up there with the worst. Dry hard and strangely chewy chicken skewers. Soggy tasteless Szechuan chicken. And just mainly onions in the vegetable curry. The only plus from my order was the speedy delivery.

A friend recommended and I ordered BBQ ribs and they were awesome.

OMG! only visiting Portsmouth, our take away was absolutely delicious!! Delivery was bang on time, food was tasty, hot and full of flavour without being salty!! Highly recommended x

It was ok. The beef curry wasn't very curry like and was dry. The hot and spicey rice was tasty but not hot or spicy. Maybe I got the wrong order 🤔

Best in Portsmouth by far! I've ordered over 10 times and it has always been top quality. It's not cheap and greasy and you can taste the quality in the ingredients. Perfect every time.
