Take away curry best in the area

Had a catering order for an office party. Junayd was a breeze to communicate with. He understood the requirements perfectly and delivered timely to our office. Everyone loved the food. Chiken pakoras were star of the show. He took extra effort to bring utensils, napkins and labeled each box according to spice levels. I would highly recommend them!

Brilliant food and miles ahead of purbani in Botley.

Honestly the food is top notch from this Indian takeaway, my only gripe is they now do delivery via just eat and the prices have shot up due to this, the prices used to be more than reasonable when you ordered online direct from their website. Now there are service charges and all sorts. Shame really as it made this Indian very different from the rest.

The food was extremely spicy for a chicken tikka as if they put the wrong spices in the wrong curry. The mushroom bhaji was not even edible for how spicy it was. But to find not just 1 hair but 3 hairs in the food was disgusting. However the delivery driver was polite and on time.

The best Indian take away for miles. Good size portions, reasonably priced and delicious. Went to another take away 2 weeks ago (west end was closed). The difference was astounding. Back to West End takeaway from now on.

We were staying with family in hotel near by and decided to have indian takeaway Food was excellent the naan bread and chicken tika was outstanding fresh and perfectly balanced with mild sipces. I order 4 mains and 2 starts, biryani rice was cooked perfectly as a rice lover I loved it. Highly recommend

Ordered a few times from here now and it’s great. The reason I wanted to leave a review is for the delivery driver, the 2 cans of coke we ordered didn’t arrive with our food , which I wasn’t fussed about as it was only drinks but the delivery driver turned up after about 20 minutes with the cokes that were forgotten. Was very much appreciated:)

Worst Indian food I've ever had Lamb was like chewing a boot Non handmade somosa ..greasy from the fryer And the rice tasted of plastic ... Disappointed

Have always praised this take away for years ,always had lovely meals, ordered different tonight a chicken biriyani, was awful ,unetable, rang to see if could replace and was told no,did say have you tried it and answer was yes lovely, have always given tip on arrival aswell ,but now you have lost a valuable customer, all you had to do was sorry how can we help !!!!

We wanted a nice meal and we received chewy raw and pink chicken. We then called them up and they said to report it for refund I emailed them pictures and they refused a refund…. We was all sick and had bad stomach

Was so disappointed with the food. It's Christmas eve and I expected it to be busy but not for the food to awful and disgusting. Pakroca chicken was spicy nuggets Onions bahjis not cooked all the way through and raw batter My curry was not as order and again not cooked through Bread off. Saga pioneer was so spicy you couldn't eat it. I won't be using again, waste of money and not a good impression on Xmas eve

Shame first time here, short portions, short on spice, my curry states highly spiced and a dry consistency, I know we're in troubled times, but money pays for a standard yours was not eceptable . Wet and bland

Ordered food took 4 hours to not turn up. Phoned restaurant they said they had run out of food and cancelled the order but didn't bother to tell us. Do not use!

2hrs for a takaway delivery, inexcusable, each time we called there was a new excuse, food OK but will never use again.

Second time I have ordered from here. I am so impressed with the quality and portions. I am a vegetarian and only enjoy the mild dishes and the vegetable dishes from here are always packed with vegetables. Unlike many other takeaways I have tried locally. My partner eats meat and he said the same very impressed with the flavours and quality of the food. Definitely worth every penny.

We have just had our 2nd takeaway from the West End Tandoori and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and the service was quick. Would highly recommend that you give them a try.

We have a curry at least each week. The family thoroughly enjoys the meals. 😋Love the garlic naan VWD, and poppadoms make for a little snack with wine the next day. My pakooras are always juicy too. We try to have different items each week, but we found what we love and stuck to it. Make sure you phone to order early or if you leave it too late, line will be busy😂 Staff very friendly 🤗

Good customer service but honest just because of vivid and wanting business. Food was horrible . No colour . Taste bland and didn’t get any salads or chutney with our ( paid for ) poppadoms

Ordered for the first time from this restaurant via Just Eat, came in time but awful tasting food. No expert but food tastes a collection of off, stale and reheated. Have had to bin and order something else.

He usado este indio durante años y nunca he tenido un problema, pero recientemente ha sido adquirido por nuevos propietarios y es asqueroso, estaba frío en el momento de la entrega y cuando llamé por teléfono para quejarme de la señora del el teléfono no se molestó en absoluto, incluso me colgó, ella se negó a reembolsarme o reemplazar mi comida, así que fui a la tienda y todavía se negó a tomar una foto mía, me dijo que estaba excluido y también me dijo que era culpa mía frío y es normal calentar una comida para llevar, dijo que iba a llamar a la policía. Me enfrenté a otro caballero en la comida para llevar, cuyas manos estaban asquerosamente sucias. Para llevar asquerosamente desagradable NO USE

Tenía 2 comida para llevar anterior de aquí y era normal, decidí volver a intentarlo esta noche, así que en resumen no era bueno, el balti de cordero no tenía mucho sabor en absoluto, el arroz bien, los bahjis de cebolla tenían una especie de rebozado, ¡no! extraño. Pollo tikka masala muy suave, por decir lo menos, gambas Hoorah Biriani sin quejas. Los panes Nan están bien, el kebab mezclado otro bahji extraño, los trozos de pollo tikka están bien, pero el pedazo de kofta de una pulgada era como un pedazo de madera absolutamente horrible. Pedí cordero murchani en el menú, su yogur y almendras, generalmente una salsa de tipo casi balti, harta de que te piquen con kormas de naranja con sangre horrible, otra comida en la papelera. Así que tampoco volveré a ordenar desde este.

Their current chef made excellent & enjoyable meals, Chicken Tikka Korai with mushroom fried rice & Chicken Dansak with Pilau rice.

I was very happy with the great tasting food, I am very particular when it comes to Indian cuisine and I can honestly say that I will be using WestEnd Tandoori Southampton again.

If you are looking for a good Indian Takeaway and you don't want to be disappointed with the dishes, then I would recommend WestEnd Tandoori as I have had dishes from many other Indian Takeaways and these are currently my favourite. The dishes are done the way I like it. Earning 5 stars from me.

Order 6 Jun 19. Food was off, bread and rice smelled/tasted moldy. Did not eat after a couple of mouthfuls and threw away the rest,. Emailed to complain and request refund at the time and again afterwards, no reply. Will never use again,.

Very poor good quality. Chicken makani was nothing like other restaurants and the paneer must had a lump of cheese put in. Really do need to be more attentive in the kitchen. Not Indian food as I know it and believe me I know my food!

Chef adapted the menu to cook me a panneer masala. Very tasty sauce and a great peshwari naan. I ordered a samosa but got pakora - which was ok as it is was also very tasty. Prices were good and I enjoyed my meal.

Best Indian takeaway for value and food

Its not nice ordered food asked for boiled rice got rainbow rice and food was zctually unbareible i wish i can put diwn 0 stars its that bad do not order from here

Don't know if there is a new chef but whilst the starters were ok the main course was inedible. Ordered chicken jalfrezi. Did not even smell like an Indian dish and I cannot describe the flavour. Very disappointing.

My boyfriend and I ordered a Bhuna and Rogan Josh for delivery. It showed up quite quickly but was very bland, we tasted both dishes and could hardly tell the difference between the two! We won't be order from there again.

Use tis take away on a fairly frequent basis. The orders are always taken in a friendly and orderly manner. Food is excellent on a consistent basis, timing for collection or delivery is quite acceptable.

I can't belive I am the first person to leave a review....it's fab. Had a few takeouts from here and everytime they have been spot on. I ordered a Lamb Passanda and took the left overs home to my boyfriend the next day, he said it was the best he had eaten in ages!
