Very poor quality food! Gone downhill significantly. We haven’t used in months but curry was watery and the rice had no flavour. The chicken was not tender like before but over cooked. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

My order was placed at 18:30. I was told it would be delivered between 19:35-20:00. I eventually received the food at 20:30, two hours after ordering. The food was and always has been good, but the delivery time was a real let down this evening.

This is usually one of my favourite places to order from for an Indian takeaway, but my last order was a mess. My chicken looked very questionable, it was rubbery and chewy and didn’t look well cooked. My rice was cold and I found a grey hair whilst serving. Contacted Just Eat for a refund request and they denied me one even though having showed evidence of the chicken. Disappointed in both just eat and the restaurant because I never have had problems here and this was just a huge let down for me.

Tandoori prawns and prawn ours delicious - saag paneer was very creamy and few pieces of paneer cheese, free popadoms greatly receives.

although flavours good and sauces of nice consistensy, the lamb tikka and chicken tikka meats in the curries were very tough, couldn't eat all the lamb as it was just too chewy which spoilt the meal.

Was just orange water. Probably the worst curry I’ve ever had. Semi regular at this place but was so poor that we won’t be going again.

Chicken tikka masala was just water! One of the worst curries I’ve seen. Been here quite a few times and always been good but this was so bad I don’t think we will be going here again

Food was on time but the chicken tikka and chicken korma were both watery and made the food disgusting and cold.

Food is average, when they decide if they can be bothered to deliver. Be warned, they accept your order and then reject it after keeping you waiting until delivery time. Not a dearth of quality Indian takeaways sadly, so they get away with it and remain in business.

Overall the meal was fantastic, my partner isn’t a massive fan of Indian cuisine, however now he is totally won over! Honestly the best takeaway I’ve had in ages.. the food was so delicious!

Used to use Bengal Spice all the time but haven't ordered from them recently; this was the first time in months and was looking forward to it. There was an item missing from the delivery so phoned to let them know and got treated like I was a lying idiot. The food is good but their telephone manner and customer service could do with some improvement....

What a transformation! I haven't used this takeaway in a while. Things have clearly changed and I can happily give a 5 stars! Food was excellent, was ready to collect super fast, and the refurbed takeaway shop itself was clean and appealing. Well done to them, really was good quality, tasty and far more competitive pricing to the other local takeaways! Happily be back soon... earned yourself a returning customer

The best Indian takeaway in town .

Bad service made an order at 6:49 on Saturday and we had to phone them 3 times to ask about our order the first time we phones they said it was on the way that was just over an hour past then we phoned again as it still hadn’t arrived so over 3 hours past we then phoned again and they said the driver messed up and it’s leaving now, so it took over 3 hours to receive our meal at this time it was going on for 11pm, either they forgot the order or sent it to wrong place and didn’t want to say, and never will we return and use this place again, I’d advise to use Jalalabad best Indian in chandlers ford.

Absolutely delicious food. Our new go to place for a decent curry. Stuffed paratha was lovely and the Bengal Spice Special was really good.

Food is lovely however i placed order at 5.30 as we wanted to eat early... I called restaurant to chase order at 7pm and order arrived at 7.20pm almost 2 hours... I feel that they prioritise phone/ internet orders and just eat orders at back of line

It took the restaurant nearly 2 hours to deliver our order after ordering! Ridiculous, they should tell you when you order. Just eat delivered on time shown on the app.

Springs rolls, samosas, poppadoms, chips were stone cold and undercooked. Never ordering from here again

The Chicken Tikka Masala had no resemblance to any other we have tasted. It was incredibly sweet and tasted of coconut. Was unable to eat. Just Eat we’re unable to do anything in regard to this (as is often the case).

Chicken pakora was more like processed chicken nuggets in breadcrumbs not pakora batter. No sauce with the chicken panoramic either. Poppadoms were burnt. Mai curry was OK a little too sweet for my liking, but maybe that's the way others like it. I don't think I would use this takeaway again.

Good food and turned up early!

Delicious food delivered around 20mins earlier than scheduled. Large portions and enjoyed the free vegetable curry and salad. Delivery charge went from £3 to £1 once I added a 3rd dish.

Ordered from here due to star rating. Was very disappointed in food quality chicken was dry and tough in the tandoori biriyani the vegetable curry didn’t really taste of anything neither did the mint yoghurt. Will definitely stick to Taroka next time as they are far superior for taste.

Ordered a £60 order for a birthday, mixture of dishes across a range of spiciness. All food was piping hot and delicious, received extra naan and dishes, thank you bengal spice! To top it off, food was a good half hour or more earlier than than they estimated too!

Best Indian! Had bengal spice a few times now and no other Indian compares! All freshly made with great flavours. Love their onion bahjes especially! Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Always delicious food, best in the area and nor overpriced. Polite and prompt delivery drivers, food delivered piping hot . Never had anything less than a 5 star food from Bengal spice.

Food was so cold and was over a hour later was due 9:05pm latest and it got to 9;45pm and my partner had to drive up to the restaurant which baring in mind is no where to be seen! For it to be then delivered at 10:10pm and evething was cold and the delivery lady was very rude! Don’t no order from here they don’t care for customers!
