Lovely pub, lively, lots of sport, good food - the chefs are top notch. All the staff are cheery and know their stuff. 100% recommend. Friday nights busy but with a good atmosphere.

First time we have visited and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The food was great value for money. The staff were lovely and caring and the food was hot, well cooked and very tasty. Will come again.

Definitely good for casual,drinks and dining, in my experience.. during weekdays Friday teatime onwards a bit more full on.. but that surely is to be expected But it's a big friendly pub local parking if needed is various and some is free... Food is excellent and great choice, Bar manager plus all of WEB team, seem to know their stuff. Seem to adjust, where possible, to the general ambience of the occasion and to local feedback given by customers...service, honesty and smiles...all there backed up by quality and Value for money, All round great place Thank you West end Brewery Don't think they brew here but they serve Good Food and drink...

Use this pub occasions and have always found good customer service for bar and food, Nellie particularly, I have noticed, is very attentive to customer requests and details Always a cheery 😊.

I pop into The West End Brewery to meet friends always a great atmosphere and good service from the bar staff. Vaiva is always really friendly and has a great sense of humour making everybody laugh.

Great place to go and eat. The atmosphere is always good here and staff are amazing especially Vaiva.

Bangin atmosphere. Footy always on and the bar staff are FAST! always. Nelly is an absolute saint and a wicked barmaid. Props to her. Kitchen closed early and I wanted an apple pie! All good though. Food, also bangin. Great pub love it here.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Been eating food here for years and never had any issues but since the new landlord has taken over quality of food and quality of service has gone completely down hill. The landlord sends his staff to do his dirty work while he hides upstairs and also allows his customers to park wherever they please and cause havoc for west end. I think this pub needs a new lease of life and a new customer friendly landlord.

Been coming to the pub for a number of years and they consistently have friendly staff who provide a fantastic service. The food is great and good value for money. The events are always top notch and brings a great atmosphere with it. Would recommend to anyone :)

I found the staff lovely, the food is amazing and value for money. Thank you to Val who not only is the chef but gave me great advice as I’ve just had operation and couldn’t eat much. She was very helpful, she went above and beyond to accommodate me. Also carol the Barmaid who was so helpful and friendly. My 90 year old mother loves the senior citizen meal deal. She orders fish and chips and has said it’s the best fish ever. Absolutely amazing staff, thank you so much for making our experience so special.

Used to come here every other week with my Nan and daughter after school. Until the chef started to go on their break at 4pm -5pm. What a silly time (DINNER TIME) to close your kitchen. And send ur only chef on a break. Every time we’ve came back we can’t order food. So have to find somewhere else to go. Which is a shame because we used to love this pub. And we used to visit every other week.

The bar staff are always up for a laugh and make everyone feel welcomed. The atmosphere is great whenever I come here.

Staying at the Hilton Utilita Bowl this was a nice pub to come for a bite to eat and watch some sport before our cruise

As a Canadian tourist I was impressed with the food but the service was great.

Huge praise for the staff. I booked Christmas lunches for 4 people, unfortunately my wife was unable to attend but the staff were kind enough to pull the starter and main course in containers for me to take home. Well done West End Brewery

Great atmosphere, hard working staff, above and beyond..viava especially made us and our dog feel so welcome and was really attentive to all punters.

It's a busy pub on a Friday full of trades people drinking and hopping too win the meat draw! Good selection of beers and Sky Sports on telly all the time... Not the sort of place I would take my family but ok with mates after a long hard week.

Went on a Thursday lunch time so was quiet but food was good and reasonably priced and bar staff helpful and friendly

Bit too noisy for me. Picked a busy night plus tv really loud and background music.

What a great experience great meal, staff friendly and helpful

I had the Quorn BBQ Onion Burger with a Heineken alcohol free beer for lunch on a Friday. The burger came with chips too. The burger was rather tasteless. No evidence of a BBQ sauce for example. And the onion portion was tiny. Expensive then at £9.29 excluding the drink. The settling was a little drab. And one of the WC’s was filthy. The service was actually good in comparison

We wanted to try this pub for ages and finally found time to do so for a mid week lunch. The place got very busy whilst we were there with every table taken. We ordered and were warned that it may take a little while longer for the food to arrive, however, within ten minutes we were served. The food was delicious! The portions were huge and we almost didn't manage to finish our meals. The drinks were served in generous glasses and the prices were cheaper than elsewhere. Overall we were very positively surprised and will probably be back.

2nd time at this place abd it's incredible! Everyone is very welcoming and I want to shout out to Ben, keris? (Sorry if it's wrong) and kayleigh! They all assist us with ordering and a slight mix up but was swiftly rectified! The food wad perfect, my new favourite place for food!!! Will recommend

Another lunch at this local pub. Just 3 elderly ladies out for a natter. I chose Classic fish and chips mushy peas. Fish was succulent, batter light and crunchy. Delicious!. All day breakfast was phenomenal and chick n mix was moist and crunchy. Cant beat it. Might take the husband next time. lol If you want a good value home cooked meal go. You wont be disappointed.

Nice meal, it was a bit noisy due to football and rugby being on.

Love this pub. Friendly staff along with their regulars. Great value for money and food is very good!

Lack of experience shown by manager on kitchen opening times, we heard him tell his staff take no orders before 6.30. Orders could of been taken while chef on his break and put through on his return, due to this inexperience, peoples orders where not in keeping with first come first served, also waiting for half an hour to place the order to then be told four of the dishes where not available, had we have known that half an hour prior we would not have sat there. This male manager needs serious training and people skills development. 40 years in hospitality gives us more experience than him.

Good selection of food at very reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and the service was good. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Good good was excellent and great value. Unfortunately customers were openly vaping inside.I questioned the bar man who confirmed it is NOT allowed.Despite this he made no attempt to stop the family from continuing.

We came last night for quiz night and dinner, at first we were rejected as we hadn't booked, but we insisted when we saw an empty table. Prices are so cheap for food. Good quality price, so much choice, it was hard to choose. We started with nachos and then a burger and kebab. Just great while quizzing. 80 questions but time flew. £1 to play and the winners win the amount collected. So the more the merrier. Will definetly come back!

A lively and spacious pub in the middle of West End. On a Friday or Saturday it's always bustling. If you fancy watching sports then it's ideal. There's a good jukebox with a broad range of musical genres, a pool table, dart board, plenty of seats (inside and out), dedicated smoking area, parking and a broad bar with plenty of drinks choices and fast and friendly staff too. The toilets are good and the lighting and decor give the large bar area a cosy feel. Fun, lively and busy. Not tried the food yet....the Guinness is good though.

Food fine, staff lovely. Moved table three times due to rowdiness. Like a youth club, many looked underage, customers effin’ and jeffin’ and smoking right outside the main doors.

I did not have any food, but I am sure that it would have been excellent, Very nice watering hole.

We arrived late after watching the Hundred at the Ageas Bowl. William and Val were really accommodating. We were late as food for children had stopped being served. William was great and allowed us in, while Val stayed late to help feed our hungry family of 6. The locals were a lovely bunch too

Only let down was having to wait 25 mins to order at 6pm because staff were on a break. Other than that the food was really good value for money.

We ate in here as we were staying at the Ageas Bowl before our cruise. The food and service was outstanding, and big portions which were good value for money. The double chicken burger was amazing.

Attended on my own as a single female with my dog.Slightly anxious.Found a table quickly and was greeted by a friendly lady who was sat with the manager. Went to the bar and was again greeted with a smile and had my order taken.My cup of tea was brought to me at my table. I felt very comfortable reading my book. Food arrived soon and it was BRILLIANT.
