Molly was amazing This morning I went through the Starbucks D/T with my 2 frenchies for a coffee, Molly took my order & prepared my drink, she was so friendly & happy, my coffee was made just how I liked it. When she saw obi & Lola (my dogs) she offered me a Puppacino which I thought was really kind. It made my journey so much better Thank you Molly 🥰

I was driving home after a day out and I needed to take a break and get something to eat. It was quite late in the evening and pretty much all the restaurants had shut for the day. Fortunately the toilets were open and WH Smith was open so I could get a snack and a drink. Suitably refreshed I was able to continue my journey and get home safely.

SUBWAY Chicken melt properly cooked and HOT. Good friendly service good price. ambiance as expected at a services but the food was good.

What a diabolical experience. The Good Breakfast was anything but.... fried slice cold and so crisp it was like trying to cut corrugated cardboard with bamboo cutlery. The fried eggs matched in temperature and were hard and rubbery. Sausage didn't fair much better, with tough leathery skins that were also cold. Nice clean loos. Take my advice and buy a sandwich, eat in car or (preferably) use a different rest stop. Welcome it was not.

Been robbed on 12th of June in the car park and lost my passport and every single document I own. Police couldn’t find the culprits as there is no CCTV in the car park.

Very friendly and helpful staff at Newport Pagnell South forecourt, Always willing to help. Shop is neat and clean.

We were travelling down the M1 on a dark and drizzly night when we felt the call. Newport Pagnell was there to help us answer that call. It did it very well with good parking and a natty little bridge over the motorway.

Despite there being loads of choice at this services, on both sides of the motorway, there isn't a lot to inspire, so an expensive sardine from Waitrose was purchased, which was surprisingly very good. Good place for a snack.

Travelling back from London late night. Services were immaculate, food fresh and made promptly. Really pleasant staff. We stopped at another nearby services on the way up and it was disgusting so hopefully staff are thanked for keeping this welcome break in such good shape, no rubbish, no overflowing bin and no dirty tables!

I bought a subway with wedges, my partner had a KFC.. Both were very bad. I mean really crap. We cleaned our table... in big bins in the middle of the room like if in a refuse area. My partner bought a pack of biscuit and a chocolate bar in the W H Smith on the way out, to eat something acceptable. ... It is was stale... Both! This is a disaster area. It is difficult to admit that people could have so little pride in their work. What is weird is that it is everywhere we went. Like if there was a curse on the place. It's called 'welcome break'... Amazing... 3 days ago we stopped in a motorway station and ate at a "Dinner". The food was superb and the staff perfect. What a difference!

I had to laugh, staff were so disinterested, should have taken this as a red light and walked. I wish I had taken a photo 😂🤣😂 I counted 15 chips, two dumb sticks, third chicken portion was like a knuckle. It was meant to be a 3 piece chicken - it was woeful and honestly I will never ever enter a kfc - I would rather take a roll of the dice with petrol pump food

This is pretty much a one stop place. There are the usual fuel and shopping facilities only that at this place the shops are a bit bigger and well stocked. There are also food outlets such as Burger king and KFC. Just next to these is a very good Ramada Hotel for a peaceful night's stay. I booked into that hotel and am very happy with its quality.

Two of us going on holiday had driven for over 100 miles. The fare looked good, however we had two loaded breakfast baps. Baps uninspiring, however it was the strange metallic but oddly sweet taste was truly the most appalling breakfast that I have ever been offered. The bacon had the texture of my walking boots and the sausages were grey. Meat? no! Do yourselves as favour - go hungry. Conversely, after throwing away 3/4 of our baps, the croissants at the petrol station were quite nice.

I wanted a KFC but after being spoken to so rudely by the lady serving me I walked out. I didn’t catch her name but she was wearing a headscarf.

Great service lovely large cod but spoilt by undercooked chips underneath 50% inedible - guessing as rushed on M1

Popped in for Brekkie while staying at the Ramada. We ordered from The Good Breakfast. I had a Sausage & Bacon Bap. It was ok, nothing special but it was edible. Coffee was nice enough. My Sis & B-in-L agreed it was ok. Mrs B had more sense & had a Porridge Pot in the room!!

We stopped here on our way to London from Nottingham. It was very busy, but we managed to get a coffee & it was a welcome break. The toilets were not very good & are not looked at often enough.

Shame there isn't a no star option. Disgusting facility, toilets are totally disgusting and not fit for human use. I can't speak for the food as there was no way I was eating there even after a 3 hour journey. Don't try to charge your electric vehicle here either as you'll end up frustrated. 5 types of chargers here but none work. Wish I could have come in the Tesla as those are all working and there's 10 or so of them. Things to take away from this review. Don't go here if you're a human, if you do have to visit, it's only worth it if you're in a tesla.

Carlos the manager is fantastic. always has been my last 3 years attending here. Starbucks on the north side of Newport Pagnall the staff are all Iovely so is the manager from the cafe. An excellent team l, all are a credit to the establishment. Steve Pearcehouse- liason manager

These were beyond doubt the worsted I have had to use in over 50 years of motoring. They were dirty , not due to the bad habits of users, but by the volume of footfall and the lack of a mop and basic maintenance.

We had a good value-for-money meal from KFC on our journey home to Essex from Lancashire. The place was clean and the facilitities good.

Stopped off here Southbound (previous reviews have been Northbound) around 4pm weekdays. Very disappointing - basically we had the choice of Subway or Starbucks, and that was it. The signage from the Motorway mentions Waitrose, Burger King and others, but it turns out they are only based on the Northbound Carriageway, so you'd have to walk across the Motorway. There didn't seem to be a lift, so not suitable for disabled, or people who struggle with stairs. So we had the Starbucks Coffee. That also didn't actually taste very nice - I'd liken it to "warm brown water" than to "gourmet coffee", so we couldn't finish it.The toilets weren't very clean either, and most of the mens cubicles had the locks broken. My wife said the ladies was pretty much the same, so people were 'standing guard' for each other to avoid any embarrassing intrusions.

Just a short stop to break the tedium of the M1 motorway.Toilets were clean and well maintained. Choice of outlets in the Food Hall and we chose KFC. Very good. We ordered and paid using their interactive system that worked very well indeed. Food was good - I had a Colonel's 3 pieces meal and wife a Boneless Banquet - both were very good with crispy flaky (and tasty) batter - it can be a bit solid elsewhere.Service good and friendly. There are a few of the usual style shops including Waitrose, WH Smith and a mobile accessories and repair shop.

Excellent customer service with equally nice food, prepared fresh and tasted amazing, u will not be disappointed 👌🏽

All the great food places in one place here, Starbucks, burgerking, Kfc, Harrey Ramsden next to each other. Good quick service and nice seating space. Cant complain.

Stopped for a coffee and sandwich. Expensive but then you expect that. Had coffee from Starbucks which was good. Seating ok but it was drafty as it is by the doors. Not particularly inviting seating area.

The place was nice and clean, as were the toilets. We had a MacDonalds breakfast on this occasion and the service was quick and the seating area clean. It will be nicer when they have finished the renovations.

You can do so much better than 'Welcome Break' at Newport Pagnell - one of the poorer service areas on Britain's motorways.Everything seems awkward, overpriced and unhelpful. I used the Starbucks, but I wouldn't bother stopping here again. Offhand attitudes prevail, and customers shouldn't have to put up with this level of indifference.I was glad to get out and back to the car.

Disgusting service. My nan is in a wheelchair and there was no light in the disabled toilet. We let the manager know and he shrugged. Clearly had no care, compassion, or empathy. We were informed that there was another toilet upstairs ... we were then told there’s no lift. I cannot fathom why we needed to point out that a disabled woman could not use the stairs but I am more shocked that we were met with “oh yeah” and a smirk as a response. Appalling service. It took 3 of us to assist my nan to use the toilet and I had to resort to using the torch on my phone for some light (something my nan and grandad would have not have had if they were on their own, nor would they have had the extra assistance they needed). You should be ashamed. This should be a priority to fix as it could easily cause an accident through lack of lighting. Perhaps an accident is what it would take for a sliver of empathy from yourselves. We spoke to 4 people, each one as witless as the last. Your ignorant, ableist, nonchalant attitude is astounding.

A typical motorway service station - not a place to linger. The most striking feature here, was how clean everything was, from the toilets to the various eating areas - well done. Prices for tea/coffee were around 50-pence more expensive than at the same outlets on the high street.

After Burger King refused vouchers, tried KFC. Cold fries. Asked for fresh. Hot now but terrible fries, not as normal. Soggy and tasteless. Expensive too on the Motorway. Zinger was not piping but OK but had to eat on its own awaiting fries.

Paused here for a "Welcome Break" over a weekend on a journey up country. It's neat and clean inside and the toilets were far better than others I had been into on motorway services in other parts of the country. All the usual inside - WH Smith, KFC,Subway, etc.

These services are so tired, from outside to inside. Small car park and what seemed like even smaller spaces. Inside Floors covered with hazard tape, lady fell from badly marked step while I was eating. Maintenance staff everywhere, hope they’re going to spend some money on this place. Had the KFC lunch and i think it had been in the cabinet too long. Tasteless. Service was ok but won’t return in a hurry.

Won’t be coming here again, many problems with the KFC here. The chips were not cooked properly and had some skin on them. The popcorn chicken was definitely not fresh and could tell they were reheated. Even the drink was awful - it was like they put 5 spoons of sugar in it! ‍♀️ Genuinely disappointed and will never ever be going to this KFC again ‍♀️

Ordered halloumi and chips for me and my son. The halloumi Smelt of fish and tasted awful. Never again will we go to any Harry Ramsden again. Complaining to head office.

I pop in here and had a KFC. The chicken was on the small side but the chips were the worse I have ever had. Some still have skins on and the taste was so awful like eating cardboard. The size of the chips were a lot more chunky than normal so cant recommend especially with the chips

Eine Autobahnraststätte. Das übliche Flair. Fish & Chips haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Leider war es seeeeehr kalt, obwohl es auch draußen nur 10 Grad hatte - aber da kann Harry Ramsden‘s nichts dafür. Wenn das Besteck sauber gewesen wäre, hätte es 5 Punkte gegeben.

Sadly it was a bit of a pit. From the toilets to the eating area. If I was not dying for a pee and very hungry, I would have got straight back into the car and carried on to the next service station.

Stopped for something to eat and to use facilities. Some of the taps weren't working and only some soap dispensers contained soap.

We frequently stop here to charge our electric car with and without children and/or dog from necessity rather than choice.

I recently saw a poster which listed hot spots for crime involving HGVS and thieves cutting curtains to steal goods. Newport Pagnell Services was one of them. Drivers pay over the odds to park here over night and this happens, The cost of food is expensive and well below par

Stopped off here starving, hoping for a full English breakfast. Ordered this with a white Americano from harry Ramsden's.

KFC - which granted is not ever going to be top notch cuisine , but bloody hell ...... never ever again. They haven’t even changed the fat so chips were horrible , burger same as . The whole services are truly a dump. The charging points for cars only does Nissan , with being just rude I’ll stop now .... avoid if at all possible .

Stood at the counter and no one came to greet me and serve. I walked back over the bridge and bought a bap from Starbucks which was very nice.

On way to London we stopped just as a major rta occurred causing a 3 hour tailback. We were allowed to stay for longer than the 2 hours normally granted before a payment for extended parking kicks in. Service was very good. Staff friendly and for a service station not an unpleasant experience. Thank you!

Nothing amazing, it's clean & tidy.. has a coffee shop, kfc, chip shop, burger king & shop etc all what you'd expect at the services.

When Harry Ramsden first launched into the world of Service stations, it was a most welcome addition. Quality fresh cooked food of china plates, tartar sauce in little ramekins, bread and butter on side plates. a traditional and comforting pamper in the tedium and exhaustion of travel. So much so that I would actually plan my journey's potential stops to coincide with a services that had one.

Turned up here Sunday night after a long day at Legoland heading home up the M1... my daughter had unfortunately been very sick in the car and needed a drink of water, my other daughter was very hungry.

On way back up M1 from London. In desperate need of food and a pee.

Stopped here on way home for a break. KFC, Burger King, Subway and Waitrose. Smith's on site. Ample car parking and 2 hours free. Petrol station on site. Electric Car Charging Station. Three tables with benches outside. Some seating indoors.

Services offered are fine what you’d expect from a service area on the motorway the usual mixture of shopping and eating outlets, the usual high price fuel.

There is a good selection of food places and a nice seating area over looking the motorway. The toilets could of been better, as I had to walk away from a few of the cubicles and a few of them were a little run down. Other than that, this place has food options to cater for everyone so is worth a stop if you are hungry en route.

Clearly serving me at harry ramsdens was too much effort for this member of staff. I ordered a battered sausage and chips. I opened the box after having to ask for salt and vinegar. I asked the server where the battered sausage was as there was only a normal sausage he ignored me and another member of staff said what you looking at me for?? He then said it was too late and the fryer had been turned off. Why was I not told this at the point of ordering? Very poor customer service

Stopped at Welcome Break Services and found it anything but welcoming.

This is by far the worst motorway services on the entire network, staff are in a trance and no sense of urgency in the “fast” food shops

Stopped for Drinks and Cakes on the M1 way back from Warwickshire.

Plenty of parking available only just off the M1.

Only half of the ladies toilets were in use and on the other toilets either the door catch did not work at all or there were bits missing off them. Some of the toilets were awash with ?? The basins needed a good clean. Pretty disgusting and unacceptable in this day and age.

Hadn't realised I'd been here in June last year and wasn't impressed at that time.

Plenty of places to eat and nice and clean. Had breakfast from Harry Ramsdens which was reasonable priced and very nice .

Not a lot to choose from (Starbucks/ Subway etc). We just stopped for a drink and to use the toilets, I’m glad that they provide these facilities even though the prices are high. It was clean, tidy and very welcome

We stopped off here on the way home from a weekend in Stratford and ate at Harry Ramsden's Fish and Chips. We shared a large cod and chips between us which was plenty for the two of us, and had two generous mugs of tea. Service was friendly and good, only waited 5 minutes for the food to be cooked and it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Stopped off at service station on our way down from Shrewsbury to Kent. Decided to plump for a KFC lunch and have to say this was the best chicken meal we have eaten at a KFC outlet. We decided to share a festive bucket for 1 which consisted of 2 pieces chicken, 2 boneless fillets and 2 spicy wings and up sized to large chips and large drink. Both pieces of chicken were large and the coating on all chicken was lovely and crispy, the best we have tasted.

Had a fantastic meal at Harry Ramsdens fish and chip restaurant. Lovely cup of tea to wash it down with. Brilliant first class thank you

Called in about 10:30pm and there looked to be plenty of choice on the road sign. Once inside we found only Starbucks open.

What can I say on sunday morning myself & my partner were traveling north on the M1, we were close to Newport Pagnell services and a little peckish so stopped to grab a bite. Spoilt for choice as you are on srvices these days, we decided on a good old fasioned bacon roll for me ans a sausage roll for her. The attached picture is of said "Bacon roll" Pretty poor i think many would agree! One rasher of poor quality bacon on a dry/unbuttered roll all for the princely sum of £2.49, thats £1.50 for the roll and £0.99 for the bacon. I thought Highwaymen Wore masks, used guns and rode horses well apparently they have diversified into motorway services!!!

It’s ok for a service station, big selection of choice but my gripe is that they force you to overpay...not unique to here and not the staff’s fault, but if you need to eat or fill up with fuel, you have to pay the price they set - obviously, this is a premium charged on top of the land price that has to be paid to have the services there in the first place - it’s prime! But it’s nice and ok, good for a stop - car park a bit confusing at times.

This place is on the money. Food is decent everytime. And staff very friendly. Want something different to greasy fast food this is the place. Lovely.

My title sums up the whole experience at this service station.

We were on our way to Silverstone, and stopped for Breakfast. There were the usual outlets, then we saw that Harry Ramsdens were doing Breakfasts, just what we were looking for ? Not Really. The " Traditional Breakfast " was £6.99 Toast was Extra £0.99 with a Regular Latte £2.75. If that was " Regular " I would love to see a " Small " ? As the Breakfast was dished up, they were about to run out of Baked Beans, so they were Scraped up from the tray. The Mushrooms were also in Short Supply, I had 2 Mushrooms on my Plate, as they were the last 2 ! Harry, keep to your " Fish & Chips !

Stopped for a breakfast bap on Sunday. 3 September 2017 , and lost my wallet in the restaurant when I had paid . Finally got through on the services phone number n Tuesday 5/9 /2017 and told my story. Had already stopped all my cards , but my drivers licence was in the wallet as well .... So I was really upset.

Stopped here with my husband at around 7pm midweek on our journey 'up north'.

Stopped here for the first time in many years on the way to see my partner's father in Essex who had been admitted to hospital after a road traffic accident. At just before 11pm on a Saturday evening everything was closed, no vending machine, no open shop, no coffee shop.....I'm surprised the toilets were open.

Stopped off here for a break and food on way home from Heathrow airport. Place was clean and Kentucky which we had was okay and a good choice of fast food on offer.Good for a break.

£4.95 for a coffee. The same coffee for the same chain 10 miles down the road is £3.05. Seemed incredibly expensive for almost everything. Toilets weren't very clean and parking spaces terribly small...

Went in after being stuck in traffic for over 2 hours on m1 and i have to say harry ramsdens was totally awful, sausage was a dry as they come curry sauce never moved even when i held my pot upside down. Will not be goin their again. But the fella behind the counter was pleasant and did good customer service

Poor quality at high prices. All outlets seem considerably. Parking tight for larger vehicles. Staff not friendly.

I hadn't eaten much all day and at 10pm the choice was limited. I had a burger king deal that didn't seem to be a deal. The staff appeared to be chatting between each food area and became uncomfortable at the time.

Had the Full English Breakfast at 8am. The eggs and bacon were OK, but the hash brown was almost crispy dry. The sausages had no real flavour, but the black pudding was even worse - felt like sawdust so I couldn't finish it. The Cappuccino was hot milk without any real coffee flavour to it. Having spent over £9, must remember to give it a miss next time.

Stopped at the Services for a Starbucks Coffee and a sandwich from Waitrose. Both were enjoyable, but seating was in short supply. Staff were hovering around to clear and wipe over tables.

Need I say more? I went southbound today, used the loo (nice and clean) and had some food. Starbucks was as expected, slight queue and the bins needed emptying. Subway was also as expected; £12 for two footlongs. I'd go back
