Beautiful building in need of some loving care. Two water wheels and very small outside area. Very restricted menu for lunch and beers/lagers only in bottles. Service only average. Quiet little atmosphere. Disappointed.

High StreetI only stopped by for a little snack on the way to the train station. The toast was great. The place looked clean and tidy, staff helpful and friendly. I asked which was George Michael's favourite table and was shown where George liked to sit and eat and also where George liked to sit in the summer months. Definitely will visit again if I'm in the area again. I was given an edition of the Goring Gap News from 2023 by the gentleman who served me which had birthday commemorations for George's 60th birthday for which I was very happy to receive, thank you.
