Waterside Bar and Brasserie in Brighton and Hove

Food was delicious, the sauce that comes with the sea bass was amazing. And they substituted the House salad for the Caesar salad without complaint which I really appreciate. But it took over an hour to get any food to me from when I ordered to when I was served, and midweek that is bad. They apologised for it which is good, but I can't ignore how long service took. On the bright side they let me in despite being dressed as a hobo, so they don't discriminate.

Comida muy agradable con excelente servicio. Esta fue la segunda vez que visitamos y en ambas ocasiones la comida y el servicio han sido de alto nivel. El restaurante solo abre los jueves, viernes y sábados por la noche y los domingos para el almuerzo. Lo mejor es consultar los horarios, etc. en el sitio web. Aunque este restaurante es parte del complejo Rendezvous Casino, es un lugar ideal para visitar y disfrutar de una comida, ya que es muy bueno.

Pésimo servicio, apenas comida adecuada. Aceptó una reserva de grupo grande, pero claramente no tenía personal suficiente para tratar con nosotros. El servicio era glacial, lleno de errores. En un momento fui al bar para ver el progreso, y allí estaba la bandeja de bebidas y la camarera charlando con el cantinero. La comida tardó 90 minutos en llegar, y la mitad estaba fría. Para ser justos, la carne asada y la salsa eran decentes, pero se servían con verduras pobres (algunas casi crudas) y sin condimentos. Había terminado la carne asada antes de que llegara el rábano picante, a pesar de haberlo preguntado varias veces. Reemplazaron las papas fritas con las recién cocinadas, que eran buenas. Espero que haya sido un mal día, pero sinceramente no podría recomendar este lugar.

If you want fabulous steak you visit Waterside Restaurant. We are regular visitors and every time our steak meal is outstanding. Service very good too, well worth a visit.

I have been to casino restaurants before and was never really impressed by the food but the food here is amazing not only did it taste amazing but the presentation was lovely and good portion size Too! And the staff really can't do enough for you . Will definitely be back! And would recommend anyone to give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Myself and my friends came to Waterside Restaurant for dinner and we had one of the most amazing meals I've ever tasted! The chef out did himself! I had the bree starter, which was delicious from start to end, and I had the double bacon burger for main. The bacon jam was to die for! Then I had the most amazing pudding, which was the salted caramel popcorn brownie! Something I've never tried before, It was beautiful! Service was also first rate! Will be back for sure!

Que linda tarde. 6 de nosotros teníamos una reserva. Nos llevaron directamente a nuestra mesa. El personal es muy educado. No hay presión para pedir nada tampoco. Una vez resueltos y tomados los pedidos solo esperamos unos minutos para nuestras bebidas. Nuestros entrantes llegaron unos 10 minutos más tarde. Asombroso. 4 de nosotros teniendo algo diferente. Nuestros platos principales llegaron unos 30 minutos más tarde. Dándonos suficiente tiempo para charlar y tomar otra ronda de bebidas. Una vez más, la comida principal fue absolutamente perfecto. Filetes cocinados a la orden. Las hamburguesas aparentemente, fueron las mejores que los amigos han tenido. El servicio fue perfecto. Mesa despejada tan pronto como la última persona hubiera terminado. Nos dieron tiempo otra vez antes de que se ofreció el menú de postres. Oh las elecciones. Especialmente después de comer 2 platos. Pero lo hicimos de todos modos. Todos nosotros no podemos culpar a nada. El chef y su equipo nos prepararon la comida más increíble. Came here for an evening meal as we wanted to try somewhere different at the Marina, we sat overlooking the casino which was OK, but the lighting on the other side of the restaurant seemed very dark anyway. The menu was a bit limited, but we all found a couple of things on the menu that we liked the look of, so it was fine. The food arrived very quickly and both the starters and mains were very tasty (if a bit small, all depending what you ordered), the restaurant was very nice, clean and we received good service, but there was just no atmosphere, just didn't feel like a restaurant for some reason.

Just had a fabulous roast dinner. Always good here. Marina was very pleasant and made our visit even more enjoyable.

I will be honest I have always avoided leaving a review for this place as it is a little gem and I have not wanted it to get too busy (selfish I know) We have had many,many meals here both romantic couple and family celebrations meals. I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal. We have done most of the menu but I have to say I have never had and yet to find a better steak. Wish they would start doing a Stilton sauce to go with the steak but as yet they don’t. We have also had many Sunday roasts and again the best we have found. The staff are well trained and very pleasant, the only down side is lack of bar staff during quieter times, I find it really frustrating having to wait on occasions 15 min for a bar person to appear. Sort this out and you will be perfect.

Lovely restaurant, good food & very good service. Out waitress Marina could not have been anymore helpful, very nice woman. Have been here before & would definitely come back.

This is the first review I’ve ever done. The quality of service and the quality of food that I received at the waterfront restaurant at the Rendezvous Casino was second to none . They were polite and friendly and the food was totally amazing I can’t say enough about this venue . Rendezvous casino many thanks

We've been to this restaurant a few times for Sunday lunch and the food is excellent and such good value for money.

I have been to this restaurant twice this year and both times were incredible. The waiters were so attentive and very hospitable. More importantly, the food was amazing. I had a 3 course meal and the timing of the food coming out was impeccable. Afterwards, if you fancy a little game of roulette, you're in the right place. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and I can't wait to return. Thank you for such a memorable experience and great food.

I am a Groupon fan and so I look out for the fish and chips, £7 for two at the waterside brasserie. It's Amazing value. And there are no catches either. Superb food, good portions and excellent service. I have also bought the £19 for four people for two courses on Groupon and it's just as good. Amazing portions at £5 per head for two courses!! You can't beat it. Without Groupon it's pricey. But great setting overlooking the marina. A must to visit but get the vouchers.

El servicio era pésimo. Post nuestros entrantes minuscule esperamos 40 minutos para nuestro plato principal. Hablé con el gerente del restaurante que lucharon para manejar mi queja. que ella sugirió que era la joven camarera que tenía la culpa. Entonces ella tuvo la audacia de decir que diners la mayoría en el restaurante era tener que esperar más tiempo debido a un grupo más grande de personas para cenar. Le expliqué que no tienen excusa alguna sin embargo no tenía nada en respuesta. Mi esposa y yo luego caminamos en que punto nuestra comida principal aún no se entregan. He estado en muchos de los restaurantes de todo el país y esta es la peor experiencia que he tenido.

This place never disappoints. Great attention to detail from the lovely staff in restaurant, food excellent and nice relaxed atmosphere.

I can honestly say that this restaurant is absolutely awful. I attended a hen night at this place and it was a disaster from start to finish. Admittedly we were about half an hour late due at 7.00 and due to eat at 8.00 unfortunately...

Cenamos dentro del casino de Rendezvous restaurante a la carta; el Waterside pasado fin de semana. Atención personalizada magnífica para camareras seriamente trabajan duro. Aún más difícil por una fiesta enorme que - nos dijeron que llegamos y sábado manera después de su ranura de 8 pm pero oye-ho. Tenía el cordero, que se cayó el hueso y realmente era magnífica y mi pareja tenía la lubina; ambos preparado y servido a la perfección. Tengo que preguntar lo que un grupo enorme estaba haciendo en un restaurante a la carta que está claramente diseñado para fiestas íntimas y servicio a la par. Los amigos que recomendaron aquí había cenado en un comedor privado y experimentar el sabor de las Vegas paquete de fiesta. Sin duda volveremos pero señor director o Sra. por favor no hagas vender usted mismo con grupos masivos!

¡Qué pena! Este es realmente un muy buen lugar. Fuimos allí como un grupo grande así que pedidos los aperitivos y platos principales pero todavía tardó una hora para servir los aperitivos! Cuando los principales finalmente salió, vinieron en etapas, es decir todas las hamburguesas...

My husband & myself thought we'd have a meal on Sunday. Only option was roast dinner, not the usual menu. Restaurant half empty but had to wait an hour for a table . Very poor food, my husband ordered chicken and he got a tiny chicken drumstick. I had beef which was just ok. Chocolate fondant dessert was rock hard not runny as it should be and treacle sponge was awful, had a burnt taste. We sent both desserts back and complained to the French waiter who was very apologetic. Would never go again or recommend anyone to go there.

Well dover sole, and daily fresh fish now off the menu. Choice is substantially reduced and for what you get its overpriced. Service is surly and there are better restaurants in Brighton .Over 2 hours to serve two courses , and only 3 tables occupied. A depressing experience!

Great service! Random place I decided to eat at on the marina and enjoyed every minute of it! The Whole grilled dover sole was FABULOUS!!
