I know that we're foreigners here, but tried a traditional steak pasty. I was disappointed that there was hardly any meat in it... it was just about all potatoes surrounded by crust. The crust pastry was good, but there just wasn't enough steak inside. I'll try another traditional pasty somewhere else. Nice shop; friendly staff. Some tables available.

We popped in here as we couldnt see any other opportunities to eat when we visited and it was your usual quite average pasty. I had the vegan wholegrain pasty which had a lot of potato in it and I didnt think was very well seasoned but it served its purpose so no problem. We walked through the car park and sat on the harbour wall to eat which was nice.

Just popped in for afternoon tea. Although it was quiet, tables pretty cluttered and sticky. Shown to a dark little room at the back near the toilets , where after 10 minutes we had not even been given a menu or offered anything so we asked to move nearer the front and just had to ask for everything. The drinks were hot at least, cakes looked plentiful and enticing in the display cabinets but were just dry and dull.

I had one day in Cornwall and naturally I needed to try a traditional cornish pastry. I know this wasn't probably a shining example of the best in Cornwall. However, Warren's has a perfectly good CV when it came to selling the cornish pastry. It was extremely nice and served very warm so I cant complain. But I dont have much to compare it with. I also bought a chocolate cornflake which I must admit was absolutely the finest chocolate cornflake ever. Appeared to be different to the norm thanks to a blop of chocolate in the middle of the cake. Really nice and I would definitely recommend Warren's bakery.

I have phoned the head office and will be hearing from them today if I don’t hear anything else from them I will be taking it further What an attitude to have towards people! I had the unfortunate experience of buying 2 medium steak pasties from Warren's shop in Crown Hill, Plymouth. After eating pasties for 60 years, I think I can tell the difference between good and bad. It was only 15 minutes before they were on the table. On opening they looked and tasted cold, dry and inedible. The pastry looked uncooked. They were disgusting. I have never complained about about a pasty in my life, but I thought that this should serve as a warning to others. Whoever gave out the "award winning accolades" obviously tasted something different to me. Never will I buy a Warren's pasty again.

Me and my husband visited and decided to eat our food in the allocated seating provided.Pasty was nice ... staff helpful especially the younger girl(with dark hair) and boy however this visit was made unpleasant by the whole time having to sit and witness the older who I presume was the manager verbally bullying the girl whilst we sat there. The girl was only asking about waiting times for pasties that were in the oven and the older ladies response was ‘well if you noted the time you would know wouldn’t you’ which she could simply have replied a time and doing this in the presence of customers is totally in called for. I personally work in customer services and found it appalling how this girl was treated. I think this lady could do with learning to work as part of a team instead of trying to put upon a younger girl within the work place .

Last Thursday I had to take my parents, both in their eighties, to the outpatients at Derriford Hospital. As they were there for such a long time it was well into the lunch period before we left. They asked if I could find them some pasties, my father had seen the Warrens shop in the foyer area of the hospital and insisted that I nip in their and get. I was a little apprehensive, probably due to the vile concoction I purchased there last year, the remains which subsequently were deposited in one of the car park waste bins, but I duly did as I was asked, and shortly returned with an oily bag, the contents of which were Cornish Pasty, in nothing other than name. I took my parents back to their house and dropped them off, together with their 'Lunch'. I called them later and found that despite being burnt on the outside, the pasties were under cooked on the inside, in short revolting and inedible, and were deposited in the bin. The prices charged at this outlet, I don't know about other branches, are premium rates, in this instance £3.30 each, for a standard (not steak) medium pasty. The product and presentation was simply substandard, there are many other pasty manufactures who produce far superior products than this, at a far lesser price. Not that price would be an issue if the quality were reasonable. If you want a pasty and you have the misfortune to be at Derriford , prepare to be sold a badly prepared product at a rip off price, if you visit Warrens Bakery.

We had a cream tea in Warrens - an very old established Cornish family bakery and was very disappointed in the Scones. They were very dry which can only suggest that they were stale. Given that it is a very busy summer in Penzance they should not be serving stale scones and if they were fresh ones then they need to look at the recipe. When I went to cut the scone in half to put the jam and cream on the whole thing just crumbled away and looked like stale bread crumbs. Not good and I am local.

Warrens portray themselves as high class quality bakers with prices to match and that,s what you expect, i tried 2 different Warrens outlets whilst on holiday in Cornwall and to be frank its not what it says on the tin ? my pasties were mostly all pastry and all hard baked dry pastry with clumps of meat at one end of the pastie and i gave most of it to the birds as it was, really, really disapointing, i think the brand promotion is in front of the product, with the product quality far behind ? they are kind of like a Greggs mass produced average quality goods, this was born out when we visited St Ives when people where queing out the shop and down the street at Pengenna pasties a qaulity Cornwall pastie maker, obvious which they thought was the best product......my advice, forget the hype go somewhere else

We stopped here for a much needed cuppa and although the staff were obviously preparing to close they couldn't have been more welcoming and we enjoyed a very good cup of tea

There's a lot of competition for which pasty is the best. Forget Ginsters, they shouldn't be allowed to call theirs a pasty! I've tried many pasties and having lived in Cornwall in the past have a good idea (always a personal thing though). I previously thought Philps (Hayle) was the best but Warrens is now my favourite. Actually the best pasty in the world was made by my Cornish grandmother!!

Very good pasties and an excellent size - the medium sized ones alone are enough for a good meal for most people. Friendly staff. My only slight criticism is that on two visits separated by four days last week they had no Earl grey tea.

Not quite as good as those from Penenna Pasties in St Ives but still very nice pasties and maybe the best in Penzance.

Large seating area inside and tables outside. Toilets always clean. Staff helpful and carried my coffee outside for me. I use a stick.

Very expensive for what it is!! Dry baguette with ham (tasty ham) and cheese, a bit of salad and coleslaw (not very fresh) and a flat white came to £13.70!!! So stunned at the price I just paid it. I live in Truro and certainly won't be going again!

We visited this pub twice during our short visit as the food was so good and very reasonably priced. On our first visit we had the freshly caught cod and chips which really did look like a whale on a plate. Would highly recommend this place and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Had a standard cappuccino here and it would've cost me less to get a taxi to Lidl and make it myself. Probably would've tasted better too.

A great find in busy Perranporth. Really nice food offering at very decent prices. Great service as well. Definitely a place to go
