Have popped in occasionally and had the most delicious pie and gravy. Was in the area Saturday and thought a lovely pie and gravy will go down a treat on such a cold day. Saturday luch time, no pies on the menu, just a very basic baguette, omlette, baked potato menu, really disappointed. Should have guessed, very sparse of dinners. Ordered the egg baguette, to be told a minute later 'we can't get hold of any eggs'. So all the omlettes were unavailable too. I've just been to a farmers market down the road that's full of eggs and pies! Cheese baguette ok, very cheap colesaw on side( sorry being really picky now). It has changed hands and don't believe the menu online, we won't be going back.

We have been here a number of times in the past mainly for a light lunch midweek and also to buy some of their fabulous pies and tarts. On this occasion we were out for a leisurely Sunday drive and found ourselves in the area, we had no particular plan for lunch but decided to go in to see if they could fit us in. Well we were in luck and were shown to our table, we ordered tea for two and a roast dinner for each of us. I had the slow cooked brisket of beef and my wife had the chicken breast. Everything arrived in a reasonable time and looked and tasted absolutly fantastic. Very generous portions all round, everything cooked to perfection. You must go.

Taken here on a weekend away with friends who had stumbled on it before by chance. What an absolute gem. The pies that we had were delicious, extremely filling, reasonably priced and total value for money. I only wish that I had had room for a pudding! Had we been coming home after the visit then I dread to think what we may have taken away with us. It is only small so booking in advance to eat it would be advisable.

Site was ok for a pitch up site. Very noisy near and close to the road, ok for one night I suppose if your stuck. The Green Man pub very basic and not like the pictures are showing on Trip Advisor. Not the most scenic site in Norfolk. Will not return .

It is such a shame that a wonderful building has been allowed to be so run down and shabby. Our room was awful - dirty, outdated, hot with a too small a bed for 2 adults and the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Breakfast was better, surprisingly so, as my husband is Coeliac but we were exhausted and achy which dampened the experience. If I had been staying more than one night I would not have stayed in that room but hence we will never visit again. I could have taken so many photos showing my disappointment but I think you get the gist. Once again - what a shame as we were gifted a voucher for a night away and I think it definitely cost me more to stay here than if I had booked directly and also we don't go away very much, so not the positive experience I would have liked.

This is one of the few proper drinking pubs left and its brilliant because people actually talk, have fun and drink. You know what we all stopped doing years ago! Love it. Come down to town, enjoy the music in the pub and have a good time.

Really let down, placed an order of fish chips pie and sausage Waited for it to be cooked Took it back home no more than a 2 minute drive to find the chips to be cold, crunchy and mainly scraps The cod was very underwhelming can only compare a regular cod to the same as two fish fingers. Sausage cooked to death The saving grace was the pie but overall a real let down sorry
