Very nice place, different from other restaurants I have visited in London. You can feel the real atmosphere of Shoreditch. The owner is very nice and friendly. The atmosphere was great. Food very good especially the fondue cheese. Really recommended, I will go back there with other friends.

What can I say about Bistrot Walluc it gave me the best Birthday Party ever we all had a fabulous time!. Luca the host took care of everything for me… organising the Live music, DJ, Bar (inc cocktails) and Catering of which all were fabulous! The Bistrot is a taste of the old Shoreditch a quirky atmospheric hidden gem, one of those fantastic venues you like to find with its very own special character. Luca was the perfect host throughout the night catering to our every need. Thank you Bristrot Walluc from all of us you made my birthday party unforgettable. I highly recommend the Bistrot as a venue for a party or just to dine in … do try its speciality yummy fondue

This is one of my all-time favourite restaurants in London. It's been around for almost 20 years and is the best place in town for fondue! Luca, the Italian owner, is a perfect host who really looked after us and served us the most delicious cheeses from Italy, lovely Italian wine and a delectable fondue. The place is tucked away on Redchurch Street on an unassuming corner. Inside the interior décor is like nothing else you'll find anywhere in the area - cosy and homely. I haven't been but apparently Luca also hosts comedy and music nights (follow on Instagram) and is the official chairman of the Cagliari Football Club supporters association in London (Cagliari is a local team in Sardinia). For a wonderful night of great food, conversation and home cooking, head to this gem!

What a brilliant little restaurant / bar / event space tucked away on an unassuming corner on Redchurch Street...! We went for a lovely, cosy dinner at this quirky fondue restaurant & bar, run by Luca from Italy, and had the most wonderful evening. It's been around for almost 20 years and we've been a number of times. There's nowhere really like it. Incredible interior, amazing food (Italian cheese & wine and prob the best fondue I've ever had!), great conversation with Luca and the warmest welcome one can hope for in crowded Shoreditch! He also runs comedy and music nights, though I haven't been. Looking forward to attending one of those as well. This is one of my favourite restaurants in the area and I've lived around the East End for close to 30 years.

Favourite place in London! Celebrated my birthday last Saturday and it was an awesome experience! All of my friends said it was their best night in London by far. Luca managed to book live music and a dj for the night and finished with some magic tricks. Unforgettable night! Really recommend trying this place. I will repeat soon!

Totally unexpected experience. Besides great food (starts with the best ingredients), unique friendly living room atmosphere. Owner, Luca, serves his perfected fondue and entertains customers for 17 years. I am a history buff, so I was delighted when my curiosity about the neighborhood inspired Luca to recite stories about the evolution of Shoreditch.

Wonderful experience. Tucked away and off piste, but a Wonderful meal and service. Luca is an amazing host and will welcome you with open arms, and lots of tequilas. Highly recommend for something very unique in Shoreditch.

What an awesome little find this place is! Being a huge fan of Savoyard fayre, I was eager to find out if this quirky little place could match what I'm used to in The Alps, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The food and atmosphere are great, with regular music and comedy nights, and Luca is the perfect host. He's passionate about what he does and loves to chat and entertain the guests. I ate there a couple of weeks ago and I'm heading back this week with some friends for another helping.

I hired Bistro Walluc for a private party and the feedback has been outstanding. Luca was brilliant to work with, incredibly responsive and open to all my requests, even with last minute changes. He went out of his way to ensure everyone had a night to remember. He brought in brilliant entertainment, music and comedy. The food was delicious and both he and his staff were friendly and helpful all night. Cannot recommended this local gem enough.

I had my first fondue here with friends I must say it tasted great ever since then I have tried at different places but non to compete with the fondue I first had. you have earned a repeat customer and referrals thank you Luca you also made all the experience perfect with your fun personality, great athmosphere, interesting style etc

Came here with my partner for a cozy wintertime date and wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere was so homely and warm. We were welcomed into the restaurant and sat in the cozy armchairs, made some negronis by the waitress and then enjoyed the wonderfully delicious fondue. We really felt like we were in the alps. The candles made it such a romantic setting and was finished with a magic show by Luca. Really recommend! Thanks again!

I've been to this place a few times before. On our last visit I came with a friend, and we had an amazing time! The place is very eccentric with lots of cute and random decorations, and music playing on vinil. It's very small and cozy. The owner and the staff are super friendly and create a homely atmosphere. The food is very tasty. You get a set menu of charcuterie or cheese, and then a fondue with bread and potatoes. At the end the owner even showed us some magic tricks - we were in stitches laughing! All in all, I can't wait to come back!

I recommend this place to anyone. I've been here on multiple occasions with dates and groups of friends. It is one of the most unique places in London, great fondue, outlandish and cosy atmosphere and fantastic entertainment and conversation by the owner! Luca the quirky Italian owner does magic tricks, tells you a bit about the place and even has comedians, bands and flamenco dance shows on too! The Bistro itself is adorned with vintage memorabilia from different eras; top hats, rotary dial telephones, old movie and sports posters, flags of the world, a record player and other entertaining props and furniture. Definitely worth a visit, especially on weekends with the ever changing unique entertainment!

I am a regular customer, I know Luca and his partner since I moved to London 6 years ago and always felt welcome to consider this place like home. The menu is made of a few selected good quality food - I never miss the fondue as it’s delicious and fun. Went here with family for fondue as part of my wife's birthday celebrations. The photo's of the bistro on the internet made it look quite intimate, charming and an interesting place to visit so we decided to book....via text as this is the only way. No confirmation but we turned up and were greeted by a friendly member of staff. To be fair, on first glance this place does appear cosy and charming, but, on (not very much) closer inspection...it's filthy! Haphazard array of dirty trinkets and decorations. Grimey menus and tables. Cold - the front door was left wide open - presumably to try and alleviate the smell of damp. Gents toilets were out of order so had to use the ladies - absolutely vile in there! No hot water for hand-washing either. On to the food... It seems the menu is irrelevant as what we received didn't match what we ordered (missing several ingredients). Fondue was "kept warm" by 9 tealights rather than a burner so quickly congealed into a rubbery mess. Bread was stale. Drinks we ordered were fine but the free shot provided at the end of the ordeal was grim. Don't know what it was. Had to leave after eating to find an ATM as it's cash payment only. This is what I imagine consuming cheese in a crack-den would be like. As I mentioned, the service was friendly but this was the only plus.... except it was hilarious for all the wrong reasons and nobody died.

I was here for dinner with my girlfriend about a week ago. I was looking for a place to impress her. I came across this bistro. We also found the evening with live music, a great concert. The food was magnificent (especially the fondue) and the prices were very moderate. Obviously I impressed my girlfriend thanks to the Walluc Bistrot, we will definitely be back!

Entered by chance with my girlfriend attracted by live music, I spent one of the best evenings in Shoredith. A place where the owner's sympathy is combined with the romantic atmosphere we found in that small place. Charcuterie and fondue real bestsellers. I hope to return soon.

Worried to know what the hygiene rating is as we didn't see one. It definitely looks cute, but it was just a bit of a shame, it's too dark and really cramped. The food is expensive too but impossible to get a seat at the restaurant. When I finally got a table I was sad, with the meal. there are better fondue places in london.

En Londres se puede comer de todo, encontrar cualquier tipo de lugar con cualquier tipo de encanto. Usted puede simplemente escriba lo que quiere comer en Google y allí está. Tienes. Walluc no es la misma, walluc es un lugar como cualquier otro. Es acogedor, tranquilo, y para ser honesto mi primer pensamiento fue ¿cómo este lugar no está llena, como se puede esperar de cualquier lugar en Londres. La cocina es humilde pero realmente bueno y el personal es genial. Lo más importante es que se puede sentir estar allí que el lugar ha vivido no como cualquier genérico lugar al azar que podría encontrar. Este es un lugar con una historia y se siente bien. Requiere para mantener un lugar pelotas así auténticos, especialmente en una zona como Shoreditch y para esto, realmente lo recomiendo.

Fuimos al bar última noche tener una botella de vino de haber tenido una excelente comida en el restaurante salchichas a la carretera. El líquido claro que venden este Bistro era como vino fue atroz. Compramos otra botella diferentes esperando nuestra primera compra fue mala suerte, pero lamentablemente, era igualmente imbebible. Ambas botellas habría tenido un valor de comercio de £2 no más y que se cobran 20 libras por cada botella era exorbitante. Cuando pagué la cuenta rápidamente el propietario o gerente poner el dinero directamente a su bolsillo sin ningún signo de hasta espero alguien de HMRC está leyendo esto. A las 9:00 de un sábado por la noche el lugar estaba casi vacío, claramente otros ya sabían lo descubrimos anoche. Debe ser cerrada, sólo mediocre.

Fui a este lugar con mi marido por la noche cuando después de haber leído en varios sitios que es "fantástico", bien, no lo era! . La placa de embutidos era un timo, por £9. 90 te pagan más de £1 por cada pedazo de salami o carne fría, como entrante era diminuto y una broma a ese precio.

Marco gibt sich sicher alle Mühe, aber weil die Location kalt ist wie am Nordpol, halten die paar Rechaud-Kerzen auch das Fondue nicht warm, sodass es die Konsistenz von Gummi hat. Der Wein war o.k. Der Raum ist abenteuerlich, Johnny Cash läuft ununterbrochen, es stehen Scooters herum, alles ist dunkel...

Sinceramente, no sé cómo alguien podría dar una mala crítica de este lugar. Puede que no tienen calefacción, no llevar efectivo, está iluminado por velas, huele un poco como una tienda de ropa vintage, pero eso es porque es tan auténtico. Tuvimos la raclette (que hay que pedir con antelación) y tenía tanta comida por el precio que estaba. El camarero era encantadora y compramos todo lo que necesitábamos. Había botellas de vino sentado en un gabinete que elegimos, que nos hacían sentir muy hogareño y acogedor. Sin duda volveré. Tan romántico para parejas como a la luz de las velas, pero también sería una buena carcajada para un grupo de amigos. Esto es tan auténtico como hace la comida increíble, un personal encantador y un ambiente estupendo!

Fuimos por un rumor sin tener ningún tipo de referencia del sitio. Todo el local estaba cerrado salvo una puerta pequeña, entramos y el camarero parecía no estar acostumbrado a tener clientes.

A medida real, "tonelada motocicletas" maniquíes con cascos y chaquetas vintage perfecto en la habitación principal donde es una fondue muy generoso sirve. Se sirve con patatas, ensalada y pan. Tuvimos el menú que incluía también una buena charcutería entrante y algunas de vino blanco italiano. Muy original.

Finalmente dopo diversi giorni in Inghilterra ho trovato a Londra questo Bistrot dove mi ha fatto sentire i veri Sapori francesi e Italiani con le sue specialità.

Yo le doy un cinco estrellas, pero hay un pequeño problema con la higiene. El menú de fondue es muy sabrosa. El pan y el charcutery son complementos perfectos para la fondue, además de la ensalada completa el menú. El servicio es el punto de venta de este lugar. El dueño se sentirá como en familia. Es verdad que a veces no contestan el teléfono, pero él realmente agradecemos su presencia. Como consecuencia, aunque tiene una fondue Androuet más barato y de lujo, el servicio de Walluc hace mi lugar favorito para fondue. Por lo tanto, si estás buscando una noche maravillosa y tranquila que le sugerimos para probarlo.

The Italian managers of the restaurant are absolutely disorganised, but very friendly! They almost never answer the phone, so don't assume that the restaurant is closed if they don't answer. You can easily find a table, even during weekends, so quite convenient.The bistro is decorated with rock'n'roll items like motorcycles and helmets. Nothing to do with the Alps, but the quirky atmosphere is fun!They only serve fondue. It was not bad, but they added emmental, so it did not taste like proper fondue. It was still good though! The charcuterie was not bad either. Prices are affordable.I had a very fun night, but you'd better go to Androuet for a proper fondue in London! (More expensive though...!)

We had a great couple nights here - once for drinks only and another one for dinner - although my friends were not as amazed and they forgot to bring us everything we had ordered. The next two times, food was below average and tasted like it was burnt. The final time was the most annoying as we were waiting for over half hour to be moved to the room on the front but they had completely forgotten about us so we ended up leaving and going to one of the other great places in Redchurch Street. Don't think we're ever coming back, St Moritz has a consistently great fondue so we will probably go for that one!

Nous sommes entrés un peu par hasard avec une furieuse envie de manger. Si le lieu atypique peut séduire par son esprit "brocante" c'est en sous sol que la magie opère. En allant au toilette, vous aurez tout le loisir de découvrir dès l'escalier une odeur de moisi, de champignon, d'égout ou que sais-je qui met très franchement en appétit. Le plancher vermoulu, les murs couverts de moisissure finiront par vous convaincre que manger ici n'est pas votre meilleur idée... D'autant que bien entendu, la cuisine est au sous-sol et à voir l'état du lieu, on imagine assez aisément l'état des frigos... En remontant, vous aurez peut-être le plaisir de découvrir qu'un verre vous attend à votre table. Ce verre présentera peut-être des traces franchement douteuses et une odeur fort incommodante mais plein de courage, et de politesse, vous allez quand même commander ce vin que vous espérez depuis longtemps. Celui-ci sera probablement servi par un serveur sympathique mais à l'hygiène non moins douteuse que celle du bistrot. Non : on ne peut pas déboucher une bouteille de vin avec les dents et le servir avec des ongles noirs de crasse... Bref, on a bu notre verre et on est parti aussi vite que possible en quête d'un autre restaurant... Désolée pour cet avis aussi dur mais franchement...

The waiter was fantastic; he was friendly and attentive with lots of recommendations.The fondue itself was lovely and the various cheeses and charcuterie were delightful. Would definitely recommend.

Vacanza di famiglia con amici (6 adulti e 2 bambini) abbiamo cercato un locale dove cenare nella zona in cui alloggiavamo e abbiamo scelto questo Bistro.Atmosfera informale calda e piacevole, abbiamo mangiato e bevuto bene. Consigliata la fonduta! :)Torneremo volentieri e lo consigliamo!

This is as most of the reviews reflect a great find. Quicky decor and scrummy fondue. Great employees even if they were not the most attentive.The bread and meats platters for starters were great.The cheese fondue was amazing I ate till I felt ill. It was that tasty. Next time I will not eat past being full.7 of us and the bill was only £200. That was having the set menu. And 4 bottles of wine

Sono stato a Londra un paio di mesi fà e grazie al consiglio di un amico sono andato per cena in questo incantevole Bistrot, dove ho trovato una vasta scelta di formaggi principalmente Francesi ed italiani, con una buona cantina di vini. Insomma mangiato e bevuto molto bene. Consigliatissimo! I was in London a couple of months ago and I found thanks to the advice of a friend this excellent Bistrot, the wide choice of cheeses with a certain refinement of the French production and italian, and excellent wine cellar. So eat and drink well. Recommended
