We were shopping in Waitrose and had quick late lunch. We had 2 egg and bacon muffins and 2 flat whites .Not a great a section of food items as there used to be but Ok. Service friendly and attentive. The muffins were good but could have done with more bacon in them. Flat whites ok. Overall good

Went to get some shopping and a quick coffee. When I requested the coffee at the till, the cashier was extremely rude and looked at me as if I was in the wrong shop. The cashier shouted at me saying that if I wanted a coffee I need to ask for it before paying. This was my worst experience ever in a Waitrose. If you want to belittle customers who request coffees, then it’s probably better you stop the free service. I for one, nor my family will be returning to this rude store. Seriously, you need to train your till staff to be nice.

Waitrose. When will you learn that if you offer your normal customers a bacon cob or a sausage us gluten free eaters would like one too! Whilst shopping for a picnic on Sunday morning we saw your in-store cafe. Great! We Bought two bacon rolls and a sausage cob BUT nothing for me as all your cafe could offer was a GF biscuit or Brownee! How disappointing is that ! regularly shop in my local Waitrose. You sell Heck GF sausage and gluten free rolls, bacon is GF free, why not offer to put the two together and make us all happy!

Went in for a late lunch before shopping - this is more like a ‘café-ette’ (ie not like their Litchfield store). The Turkey, bacon and stuffing sandwich/toastie was chosen and Ham and Cheese Toastie - we were told that there were no more toasties (!?!) - other people had toasties while we were sitting there😕. There wasn’t a warning that the Turkey, Bacon etc offering had cranberry in it as one of our party a) is on anticoagulants and b) fructose intolerant. Coffee is good though!

Being holders of a Waitrose card, it is nice to enjoy a free coffee with some nice choices of food. Easy to get seated and staff are always good

If you accept it for what it intends to be, that is ai in store cafe, it's fine. Good coffee, nice cakes, friendly staff and consistent quality as we expect from waitrose. Don't expect a la carte.

I stopped for coffee and cake in the cafe - all good. But why serve on a disposable polystyrene plate? I suggested that I am happy with a paper knapkin and would prefer a plate that can be washed and reused. The staff accepted that Waitrose's approach was environmentally unfriendly. So it looks like poor and indifferent management. Waitrose should really make a better effort to take care of our environment!! Costa next time....

Called here lunch time on a Saturday with 2 members of my family. We ordered large coffee, 2 caffe latte regulars, one with a shot of syrup, hot bacon wrap, turkey s/roll and a chocolate caramel cake. All very tasty and great quality. Would have been excellent but service a bit slow!

We had a lovely stay at The Broadway Hotel—it's the perfect mix of charm, convenience, and comfort. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the village and walkable to everything Broadway has to offer. The hotel has both a bar and a restaurant; one of the dining areas features especially beautiful interior seating, though I’d recommend making reservations ahead of time if you want to dine there. The guest parking is a bit tricky to find at first—it’s through a small driveway with an automatic gate right beside the hotel. It’s convenient once you know where it is, but a bit more signage would be helpful. Our room was cozy and well-equipped. The bathtub was a standout, complete with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing soak. The room also included a tea kettle and a Nespresso machine (which might be standard across UK hotels, but still appreciated!). A portable fan was provided as well, which we used both for airflow and white noise to help muffle some distant dog barking at night. Overall, it was a very comfortable and charming stay in a beautiful, picturesque town. Would absolutely recommend The Broadway Hotel for anyone visiting the Cotswolds.

Perfect place for mums to get together for a reasonably priced, yet still yummy breakfast together while the small people play and ear. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Visit almost weekly 🥰❤️

Very poor experience unfortunately. Had booked for party of 6 for Mothers Day meal. We had also emailed our menu choices in as per their request. When we got there they said they did not have our email. The starters were really nice. Then a long wait for the main courses. Terrible meals. The roast dinners were not well cooked, not hot and the Yorkshire Puddings were tough and you couldn’t cut the roast potatoes they were so over cooked. I don’t think that this was fresh food, looked frozen. We also had no vegetables delivered with our mains. Complained to the Manager who was fairly receptive. He said it had been very busy but there were hardly any tables full. We have been here a lot over the years and had great food but looking over the other reviews it seems to have really gone off. We didn’t stay for dessert. We got some discount on the bill which was appreciated . The waitresses were lovely and apologetic and it wasn’t their fault. The Vernon really needs to up their game, start cooking fresh food, better chef and better organisation. It’s a beautiful place in a lovely setting but something has gone wrong here.
