The shop and restaurant are fine - but the flushless urinals STINK! There is so much ammonia in the air that your eyes sting. A totally in pleasant experience.

We shop here regularly and always enjoy a tea and a pastry in the cafe. Just lately though, the service levels have dropped and quite frankly the place needs a good clean. The tables, the ledges on the windows and the floor. There was no sign of anyone cleaning the tables or anywhere else in the cafe, most of the staff just look disinterested.

Is the posher supermarket in UK the breakfast was good love it unfortunately the only negative think was the table outside was dirty and it had food on the table and chair the girl who serve me didn’t say anything or even clean that was disappointing apart from that Waitrose cafe is beautiful inside clean and looks so modern even on outside aswell very impressive I can recommend the Waitrose cafe in Worcester London Rd. A cup of coloured beige water rather than coffee. Even with an extra shot still undrinkable and 15p more than great coffee shops in town. Several flies buzzing around. Upholstery on sofas stained. Definitely not the standard expected from Waitrose.

There wasn’t enough staff on duty clearing the tables especially just some poor old lady who was doing her best but seemed very stressed. Customers where staring at her as a result of her attitude. I have all the experience required to work in that cafe but never get a look in

Dreadful Gluten Free experience. Considering the store has so much gluten free products the cafe is very much lacking in options. I had the traditional breakfast which was swimming in water from the poached eggs. Eggs were barely cooked and very snotty. The bacon had only just seen the pan and was very off putting with stringy undercooked fat. The beans were cold and there was no option for gluten free toast. I had a £8.50 meal with no substitute or discount for the lack of toast. The toast was quite large and a substantial portion of the meal. Mushrooms, tomatoes, and sausage were ok. I also had a mocha which was nice. I would not recommend for brunch, lunch or anything more than a prepackaged cake slice or coffee/tea. Very disappointing

For a supermarket cafe, this is the BEST of the best, offering great menu items for both breakfast and lunch. We simply LOVE the deletion of teas here and the coffee is to die for. A perfect way to luxuriate and kill off some time after a trip to the shops.

The cafe is really letting our Waitrose down. It's always freezing cold, in winter and summer. Coffee and tea always come out luke warm. Pastry's are dry. The one time I ordered breakfast it was literally just sour yogurt and blueberries. I've stopped going now as I can do far better myself at home.

I have been in to look around but boy it’s so pricey. I truly don’t know how they compete with the wonderful Lidl stores that we have in Worcester. I can only think that there are a lot of very wealthy folk living in Worcester! And as for a Sushi bar!!! Ummmm- next😜

Popped in for a shop on Saturday afternoon and lunch at the cafe at the front of the store - there was a queue of about 4 people so nipped to the loo. Came back, queue had not moved. Had a look at what I could have for lunch - decided ham & cheese toastie would fill the gap plus a coffee. Waited. Obviously another new starter on the till/counter. So of 3 staff, 2 were stuck on the till. The cafe was empty bar 2 other couples - now I know why! Waited. Decided I wasn't going to pay £4 for a ham & cheese toastie and another £3 for a coffee to put up with this kind of service so went and bought a baguette and some pate instead. Probably got home and made my own lunch more quickly than it would have taken to queue, pay and get my lunch served by cafe staff.

For the prices you pay in Waitrose you’d expect premium quality especially with the coffees. Honestly all that training and give out average drinks. Whoever does the recruiting for this place really needs to get a grip. I’d like to see some healthier options on the cakes perhaps

I usually visit this waitrose all the time to buy my babys forumla milk. I experienced disgusting customer service and discrimination because i was using healthy start vouchers to buy formula milk. The Manager was useless and not helpful at all! Shocking the way i was treated and humiliated in there had many other customers look at me. If you are not white or you are using healthy start vouchers for baby milk do not come here. Disgraceful i will be looking to take this further.

Used to love my Friday morning shop and secret coffee in Waitrose droitwich but had to change to Worcester. Tried it for a couple of months but now avoid it when possible. Outside area is grubby, staff on the fish/meat counter are not always as helpful or skilled as they should be, staff elsewhere seem more interested in stock sheets than customers and a group of junior managers/trainees were just rude. I did raise these and other issues with customer services online but didn't get an acknowledgement. So now if it has to be Waitrose it will be droitwich and I get my secret coffee and cake somewhere they know how to treat customers.

As a well respected high quality company they should accept all intolerances and allergens. I wanted the porridge in the cafe with Soya milk. The girl said it was premixed. That’s unacceptable when your charging high prices. It doesn’t take long to mix porridge with soya milk. The staff lack urgency and passion. They do all the online recruitment process and people don’t abide by the rules

We viewed this visit to Waitrose as a full-on day out experience. We started with coffee in the caf, which was just fine. After a leisurely shop, we selected sushi from the sushi bar and took it to the wine bar in search of more comfortable seating, and were well taken care of by the staff on duty there. The sushi was fabulous - some of the best I've ever had.My only complaint is that parking is limited to 2 hours, with the threat of a £70 fine for overstaying. This prevented us from trying the coffee and cake bar at the back of the store.

Got back from work starving hungry and needing shopping so thought I would have a quick lunch in Waitrose. Wish I hadn't bothered! Had a miserable, dry, cold sandwich and a cup of coffee. The sandwich cost £4.95 and consisted of a few pieces of turkey, a piece of bacon and some cranberry sauce. Sounds nice but didn't taste good at all. The coffee was tepid. With coffee lunch cost me nearly £10. Sorry but I think at that price it should be better. Very disappointing. Could have bought a whole rotisserie chicken for £6!!! Haven't tried the wine bar.

Travelled to Worcester for another purpose and decided to try the Waitrose as it was close. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE. The place is very big, wide aisles, open, airy and bright. The range of goods fantastic, it’s almost a John Lewis with lots of food. Four places to stop and eat/drink including a Tapas Bar and a Sushi Bar. It’s a bit further from home but going to be a regular excursion from now on.

I live within a 3 minute walk of this store and try desperately to stop my other half going there every day for the yellow label stuff. Along side the normal Waitrose food isles there is a fresh sushi bar, a bar serving alcoholic drinks and tapas and they will serve you (for a fee) from the bottle you bought in the store if you want. There's also a coffee shop serving sandwiches, cakes and light meals where people sit for hours fiddling with their computer. The store also has a community room available for free hire by charities. Being a new store it is light and spacious and being Waitrose it is generally more expensive than the other supermarkets. That said, their fruit and veg lasts much longer than the stuff I buy at Tesco. I don't look upon Waitrose as a supermarket like the rest. I look upon it as a lifestyle choice. Now, I must nip along there to get the quinoa and advocados

Reasonable choice. Typically Waitrose and a cut above supermarkets cafes. Self service and food to order. Mix of hot and cold selections. A very impressive fish finger wrap made a filling but not heavy lunch. The wine bar offers great tapas; a perfect snack whilst doing the shopping. My husband now likes to come shopping (!) so that he can indulge in a glass of wine and tapas at the same time. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not! There is a good choice of tapas, all freshly prepared and served, but on the down side, do be prepared to wait a little while. Having said that, it does make the shopping experience much more relaxed. Great value at £20 for the two of us including a glass of wine each, which is also very good wine. You can have a taste prior to ordering which is really helpful. Atmosphere quite nice, and you are away from the food stuffs; as usual, staff are very pleasant and helpful.
