The spicy ramen was a welcome comfort during a typical Bristol rainstorm. Staff and the vibe of the restaurant was lovely!

On arrival, really welcoming staff, pleasant and polite. It went downhill after that. Waited longer than usual to order, the server was not knowledgeable and left one side dish off the order. Food arrived, the Ebi Katsu was presented beautifully, the food did not live up to its appearance, was warm and not crunchy. The Pad Thai was over cooked and dry. No chilles in it and just the one piece of spring onion. When the missing side dish was asked for, I was made to feel it was my fault and then it wasn’t rushed to us, it arrived after we’d finished the rest of our meal. This was nothing like our usual Wagamama’s in Cardiff and Swansea.

Such a fab meal, our waitress Lisa was so attentive and our meals came out perfectly which was great seeing as I faffed around with swapping things out! Came out in perfect timing and the portion sizes were amazing considering price. Very happy!

I have never had a poor meal at Wagamamas so I won’t go on about the excellent food that we also experienced here during a family birthday meal . We usually go to the W in Queens Rd but last time we weren’t that impressed so decided on a change and so pleased we did. What I would like to rave about is what a fantastic manager they have at this place. On the night we visited, last night, a Wednesday evening at 7.30pm it was busy with a good vibe. I am coeliac and the first question the waiter asked was ‘are there any allergens? As soon as I said about the gluten, he provided me with a GF menu. This menu being handed out prompted the manager to arrive at our table who explained to me the process for dealing with allergens, that she was trained and that my food would be cooked in a sterile pan and cross contamination would be avoided, she also brought me some GF tamari sauce. This really put my mind at rest as so many restaurants don’t consider cross contamination and wouldn’t even know soy sauce contains gluten! The GF menu is a bit limited, Imwould like to see more appetisers but there is still enough choice to enjoy a tasty meal here. The prawn Rakasui was excellent and I couldn’t finish it all. My meal was a bit delayed due to staff shortages but the manager was extremely apologetic and took the meal off the bill without us even complaining, I never expect food at Wagamamas to arrive all together anyway. I wish more restaurant managers were as clued up as this person was, she’s definitely a huge asset to Wagamamas. We will be sure to return again.

If your are looking for something quick, easy and guaranteed in taste, this is a very easy and wise choice. Caters for all tastes and diets. Prices are reasonable and the freshly produced juices irresistible

I hadn't been to Wagamama in a long time but I decided to go with members of my family for lunch. Chains can really vary in consistency but I really enjoyed everything I had. All the food tasted fresh and the service was great.

Went to this restaurant for a family meal bwfore a trip to the cinema. Upin being seated our waitress greeted us and asked us for drinks order, which arrived quickly. Then onto our food order, she took my childrens and my wifes order. When i was asked and informed the waitress of my mushroom allergy, she went to inform the manager and head chef. The manager came over to discuss my allergy and then went away to speak to chef and reviewed all of the ingredients of my dishes, he returned a couple of times to advise and confirmed no part of the dish or sau es contained mushrooms. Our food arrived quickly and the customer service was outstanding. Thank you

I’m a regular to Wagamama and always enjoy the food especially the chicken and prawn yaki soba. I was served by Phoebe who was very professional, informative and a complete natural at customer service. Phoebe and all the staff at Cabot Circus look as though they genuinely enjoy their jobs. Highly recommended

For freshly made, large portioned, Japanese influenced dishes, Wagamama's is the place to come! Food is always flavoursome, reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly. I always try and have a Wagamama's when I can!

We normally go to the Wagamama at Cribbs but gave this one a try. The food wasn’t as good though. We had duck for starters and it was a bit soggy for me. I had Chicken Udon Noodles as a main and I was underwhelmed. Might have just been the wrong dish for me. Would probably return.

Decided to pop in here after some Grommit hunting around the centre of Bristol. We were able to get a table out side the main restaurant immediately. Very friendly staff, took our drinks order quickly and then came back just at the right time to take our food order. The waitress explained that the orders would be brought at when ready and not all at once. Food was fantastic and really filling.

Obviously this is a chain. Can't fault service in this restaurant. However 10.50 for a salad with 4 pieces of tofu, approximately 12 edamame beans, a handfull of glass noodles and too much greenery to pad out the plate. A complete and total rip off

Family of four, with party spit on level of satisfaction. Welcome, atmosphere and service all good. Dishes scoring well among us were the Bang Bang cauliflower - super spicy, Yasai Katsu - fab veggie dish, and asian pancakes. Chicken Katsu tasty but meat portion rather small, Chicken ramen was most disappointing, broth quite watery, chicken listed as grilled but tasted more boiled, not very tasty for an essentially signature dish. so overall score average. Would return to try other dishes, and personally as a meat eater it seemed vegetarian dishes were more abundant and tasty. Happy to give this another go, but would need a lot more convincing.

What can I say. Wagamama is nothing but consistent. Still quite a buzzy atmosphere in this restaurant though.

Compared to the Norwich restaurant this is such a difference. Nice staff who provided an efficient service. The food came very quickly and was well prepared and cooked.

The food at this Wagamama is good just like the rest! Unfortunately this was let down by the slow service, we waited a while for one of our meals while the other got cold. When we asked for the bill after waiting a while to get someone’s attention we were given the wrong one, luckily we weren’t in a rush so not a huge problem, just a pain getting the waiters attention to sort the issue! So overall an average experience.

As a lover of Asian, Japanese and Oriental food, Wagamama is a favourite of our family with consistently good food and a modern, fresh menu. Also, the addition of a vegetarian and vegan menu also makes it easy for people with dietary requirements to order.

yumyumyum. wagamamas never disappoints. we had the lollipop prawns, the steamed chicken gyozas, and for the main i had the chilli chicken ramen and my sister had the chicken teriyaki soba. it was quick service, and actually did all come together. the guy who served us was really nice and friendly :)

Myself and my boyfriend found we now get deliveroo in our area so thought we would give it a go. We had been craving Wagamama for ages as we have been going now and then for years, usually absolutely loving the food. This time though we where very disappointed, I’m writing this having just finished but still feeling hungry and now hangry! Both meals where bland but mine was rubbish. I’m vegetarian and ordered the veggie tofu Pad Thai type noodles. First thing I thought was the portion isn’t what I remember of Wagamama, then it was cool, not hot, then there was just no flavour, I’m pretty sure they forgot to add the flavour/sauce/teriyaki bit, it steamed to be just noodles -not many- then the veg, mainly consisting of cold plain beansprouts, and tofu, not too bad but again not how I remember it. HOWEVER all of this aside by far the worst thing was finding a piece of chicken in the mix half way through. Didn’t finish in the end, first time I haven’t finished a Wagamam. Oh and also we couldn’t get the veggie dumplings fried, but that could be because of ordering through deliveroo.

I have been to wagas a few times and just found it to be OK. However recently I went out with some friends for dinner and unfortunately found that the service was very poor. We ordered all together, yet for some reason the food didn’t come at the same time. As a result, the one of us who got their food first, ended up waiting around 10 minutes for the last of us to get our meal, by which time it had cooled down significantly. The food itself was a little lacklustre and lacked a depth of flavour (I had to add far more soy sauce than I normally would to make up for this fact), and I was hoping for better considering the price. We also had to wait ages to get our bill and continually had to call the waiters over as they never checked up on us of their own accord. However, considering my previous visits which haven’t been so bad, I would say this restaurant is decent for Asian-food lovers who aren’t that critical, but it just lacks a bit of je ne sais quoi.

I was such a big fan of Wagamama, that I even emailed once to ask if they could put one of their restaurants in Worcester as that is where I used to live. I got a kind email back, but to no avail it never happened. 2 years later, I come to Bristol and visit Wagamama's, low and behold I was appalled by the food and service. The food was awful, it was tasteless, I would of much preferred a pot noodle! I had ordered a starter that never arrived, it has obviously got too popular and way down hill. The service was non-existent, I am sad to say that I will not be returning. Can anyone recommend another noodle place in Bristol?

Our granddaughter took us to Wagamama's for lunch whilst we were visiting Bristol. It was our first time and will not be our last. The food was delicious. We all had something different and it was all hot and tasty. I must admit it would not have been my first choice if we had been there on our own but sometimes us 'oldies' can learn from our younger family!!!

I went to Wagamama in Bristol with some friends. Although I normally avoid all "chain" restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The food was good and tasty and the young staff were all efficient and very friendly. Certainly a chain I would visit again.

If you are looking for comfort food, such as ramen and other Japanese side dishes, this is the place to be. Well located in Cabot circus. It is slightly costly compared to other asian restaurants. Their dishes have westernized touch to target most audiences.

Loved the communal seating, loved the atmosphere and to see the kitchen at work was excellent!

Two of us came here for lunch which was served quickly by friendly staff. The food is average at best. I had a vegetarian udon dish which had tasty broth but was lacking in many of the main ingredients. The worst bit was the cold tofu. My friend had ginger and garlic udon but felt that the dish was too dry.

Tasty food, had a chicken ramen and king prawn starter and it was amazing. One minus was that we get our drinks after starters and it wasn't busy time.

Visited here with my mum for a spot of lunch during a shopping day. We went early and it was already busy but we were seated straight away. The table, although its own, was very close to another and was almost sat right next to them. However that is generally the Wagamama way :)

We visited this restaurant for my daughters birthday and although we are a family of vegetarians we are also doing Veganuary. So what a real treat to find a forward thinking restaurant with a Vegan and vegetarian menu. The food was fresh, hot and tasty and the service was very pleasant. I loved that we all got colouring in mats while we waited! Overall a good experience.

I was meeting my friends for lunch, one of them was arriving a little late so me and my other friend got seated and ordered some sides as we waited for her. We got chilli squid, ribs and dumplings. It was bought out quickly and the juice I ordered along with the sides was delicious! The chilli squid is amazing and one of my personal favourites. We were a little let down by the ribs, they are very over priced for the amount that you get, probably wont get that again. The dumplings were good. When our friend we arrived we ordered our mains. I ordered the wagamama ramen, my other friends got the seafood ramen and a chicken noodle dish. The wagamama ramen is literally so amazing, I love it. deffinitely recommend. It has chicken, pork, muscles and shrimp. On this particular occasion I was served the ramen with a muscle that was closed, I do think things like this should be checked better incase someone didn't know you're not meant to eat them. I told the waiter and he took it and replaced it with a new muscle. My friend thought he should have replaced the whole dish as it could have poisoned me still but I didn't really mind, I didn't get ill and it was blooody lovely! Standard service nothing in particular to note in that area. Love wagamamas.

Went with friends Friday night afterwork. The blonde european waitress was so rude to us. She gave us a dirty look when we said we'd rather sit somewhere else. It was so foul, that we left. We didnt even sit down.

You know what you're getting food wise at WM. Tasty bowls of noodles and rice with a great selection of starters. We went on a Tuesday night after Christmas expecting it to be quiet and the place was rammed. We perched ourselves on the wait to be seated seat and weren't approached by anybody for 10 minutes, despite there being tables free.

Food was beautiful and the service was lovely, friendly staff, in particular Neil- a really lovely and friendly gentleman who was polite and attentive throughout the evening. Many thanks!

Took my teenage daughter last night for the first time. Just the two of us. Had a great meal. She tried to eat hers with the chop sticks provided (which was amusing)!The chicken Katsu chicken was lovely & a huge portion. I had the broccoli & mushroom omelette on brown rice which was very tasty. It’s quick service, good food in a clean & friendly venue.

Wagamama was all the rage when it first burst onto the scene. However, it's now lagging behind and I don't think its delivering what customers expect. The prices are fairly premium, yet the food is not as good as you would get at most independent ramen or sushi restaurants.

Normally, when I eat, I like to be as far away from strangers as possible. The idea of sharing bench seating with a load of students or young families or pretentious businessmen fills me with dread.

By far one of my favourite places to eat. The food never fails to disappoint. The staff were very friendly. Only annoying thing is the tax is put on at the end, so ends up more than expected and the food comes out at different times!

I usually like Wagamamas but this time wasn't great. I had the beef bulgogi but the beef was poor quality and a bit tough. The noodles were greasy, over seasoned and burnt in certain parts until they were crispy. My husband's salmon was better.Added to the poor food was the fact that we waited twenty minutes for the food which you don't expect in a place like Wagamamas.

Little meat, little flavour, overall disappointing compared to other wagamamas we have been to. Wouldn't bother again.

We arrived as it was sunshine but sitting outside when the rain came was not so good. The staff were good and said the food would be along soon. Both meals came separately which is not ideal. I had belly pork which I almost needed a magnifying glass to see it, but it was tasty. The Exeter Wagamama is better.

Got off to a bad start, as they sat us down next to the toilet door, despite making it reasonably clear that we'd rather sit somewhere else. The food was pretty bland really. Both of us had a ramen, but one was with a light broth and the other was with a rich broth. The reality was they were identical - and pretty tasteless. Kids meal was ok and service was ok.

I went there few days ago with my friend to have a lunch. The staff was very kind and proffesional but my friend got her food almost right away, so she was sitting and waiting for my meal for the next 10 min while her food was getting cold. When my stir fry arrived it didn't look very appetizing, there was almost no veggies and apart from saltiness it was very much tasteless. Was expecting something different from a restaurant than a 4£ worth take-away next door..
