Food was absolutely terrible tonight, the chicken bhuna was so spicy more like the heat of a really hot curry, the motor panneer was way to salty and the mushroom rice was really oily also the chicken tikka starter was burnt and so dry I couldn't eat it......

Ordered 2 starter chicken tikka but only received 1 starter Chicken tikka missing item. 😢

Samosa’s are 10/10, cheese naan didn’t have much cheese though and pretty sure we received a Chicken Pasanda type dish instead of the Makhani I ordered

Sorry, but wasn’t impressed with our two dishes, even the naan bread was cold and tough to eat, definitely not freshly made…. 3 stars as the chicken pieces were a decent size !

Ali babas been ordering here for more than 30 years, never a bad meal always hot and absolutely gorgeous, collecting or delivering, got my mother in law over from Ireland she says best curry ever and me and my wife agree, delivered on time and hot , makes the difference, alibabas awsome

I went to the take away restaurant and only wait 10-15 min to have my meal ready. I ordered the Samosas as starters, the Palau Rice (the cashier' recommendation), the Honey Lamb and the Garlic Nan Bread. The plates are delicious, great portions and great price. I'm very happy with the services. The cashier who served me was very nice, the food was very yummy and they have prepared it very quick. I 100% recommend it. I will come back again soon. Many thanks!!!!

ordered my food at 6.50pm on Saturday 23rd march called the restaurant at 8.38pm told me it was on its way and still not received my order! over £40.00 worth of food I never received.🤬🤬🤬🤬

Unfortunately after a great experience last time, we won’t be ordering again. Ordered at 7:32pm, food arrived 10:07pm. Food like this at that time of night just isn’t enjoyable. Really is a great shame as the food is alright. Theres no food worth waiting over 2.5 hours for.

The delivery guy called and said he doesn't bring the food up to my door, so I had to go downstairs outside of the building. I called the shop, and they said it's their policy not to come inside buildings for deliveries. I've never heard of this kind of service, and honestly, I am never going to order from them again.

Best korma around ..throughly enjoyed everything

I’m going to put 5* for delivery time, even if was slightly later but due to it being Saturday night, they amended the delivery time from 6:35-6:55 to 6:55-7:15 and i got a text so I was aware of what was going on which was great communication. Food was great, chefs special chicken stuffed with mince was out of this world. Onion bahjis not greasy. Nice sized portions. Good prices. Used to use this take away with my dad about 26 years ago, I’m glad I tried it again tonight. Would recommend.

Too much oil in the food to the point that bag had a thin layer of oil at the bottom. Worst biryani I have ever tasted, full of coconut and 100s of raisins. Very disappointed.

Really disappointed. First time ordering here and with the good reviews was looking forward to it. Arrived early which was great considering it's christmas eve.The rice looked a strange grey/white colour and didn't taste nice,so left it. The tikka masala did not taste like it should, I honestly thought they sent the wrong order as I've never had one like this. Unfortunately, I won't be order from here again and definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Brought as a birthday treat yesterday for me and a friend, who had never eaten from this establishment before. It’s my favourite Indian place to eat so I knew the food would be delicious. My friend also very much enjoyed the food and will be purchasing himself from here in the future the next time he orders an Indian take away. Beautiful, can’t fault the food or delivery. 5 Stars. 🌟

Our usual place was closed so thought we'd give this place a go as the reviews were good. I had the chicken 🐔 kashmir with the garlic and coriander rice both were great and tasty 😋 meat really tender and the sauce was amazing 👏 I love banana 🍌flavours so this was perfect for me. I would have liked there to have been duck on the menu and coconut 🥥 rice. Definitely recommend this place

Just ordered food from here again tonight. It came 30 minutes EARLY. It was boiling hot and fresh as could be. And it was damn delicious. Haven't eaten at another Indian place since finding Ali baba. Truly worth your time and money.

Attempted to order food from here this evening, called the restaurant after instruction on Just Eat, to discuss my order as my partner has a peanut allergy. We were passed onto the chef and asked to tell him our order, in the middle of us doing this, we were shouted at and told to ‘order from somewhere else, ok?!’, we were then hung up on. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour. All customers should be valued and spoken to with respect. Do not recommend this restaurant. Staff clearly require intense training within customer service. Disgraceful.

Expensive and bland. Egg Rice cooked ok but not great. Also, rather a punchy price for a small silver tub. Mushroom passanda bland in taste and powdery in texture. Thin sliced mushrooms somewhere in the dish. Happy hunting. Cheese and onion naan, missing the point of being a cheese and onion nan. Miniscule amount of cheap, tasteless, yellow matter in a small area in the centre of the naan. No idea about where the onion was hiding. In all seriousness, This was not a pleasant meal. Money is tight for us all, so spend it wisely. I would say, not here.

Our usual restraunt that we used all the time sadly shut,we loved their food and ever since has have never found anyone to match them.today we ordered tandoori chicken and tandoori king prawns it was absolutely delicious so we no exactly who to use in future I would recommend this delicious cuisine

This was THE tastiest Indian I have had in a long time! Perfectly cooked, chicken was tender, even the naan breads were fluffy and light! Not greasy at all! A very enjoyable meal for a very hungry family! Would 100% recommend.

I had a lovely meal from here. Fantastic onion bhaji’s, peshwari naan and chicken biryani which is what I had. They did forget the rice on the original order but it arrived promptly after we called, which we received a partial refund for.

An update to my first review a few months ago. Still deliciously yummy, arguably more so now. Indian cooking involves innumerable spices, all with delicate flavours that compliment each other. This culinary delight became evident as I tucked into an onion bhaji, which didn't explode with flavour, but gently unwrapped its essence, morsel by morsel. It's >the< finest I've tried. 100% respect to the kitchen staff. Too many times have I consumed a curry where chilli heat overwhelms the pallete (and the delicacy of flavours) but not here. Hot spice, yes, but not to the detriment of the dishes, which are outstanding. If you do want a chilli challenge, try the hot and spicy naan. Those little red peppers are devils! They deliver too, and may I suggest a small tip for the driver, for they are very friendly and appreciate the gesture? 💚 (My first review follows) Very deliciously yummy, oh yes. You've got to love a place that has a description for one of their hottest dishes as "an extremely hot dish for those with a steel-lined stomach". I've driven passed the shop many a time and thought, "great name" but a bit uninspired by an ordinary looking shop front. Do not let this fool you. A lack of curbside appeal is hiding culinary genius. There's a great selection of awesome food to be had at good prices and some are the best I've enjoyed for a long while. There's your standard fare of madras, korma, tikka, etc, but don't forget to browse the specials, some of which are unusual and very good indeed.

Good food and extremely fast delivery!!! I ordered food at 6pm and had it in my hands at 6:15, the food was still so hot, just like eating at the restaurant. I really enjoyed the bhuna curry, rice and the naan was amazing
