Wagamama - Silverburn in Glasgow City

Had a lovely meal with my family earlier on this sunny Easter bank holiday. Food was on point (as per usual), whilst the service from Nikan was brilliant!

Does what it says in the tin. Good food although it looks like they are passing on the cost of living times. Atmosphere bland as the outlet is in a mall and open to passers by and dinners in adjoining restaurants.

Wasn't happy with the food.we were a party of seven starters chilli squid was cold and very dry.main course was cold and very disappointing. Staff were trying but the place was so disorganised. Won't be back

The new docor makes the athmosphere a lot better now. The staff was exeptional, as well as the food. Tried the new menu item (hot pot) which was mindblowing.

Truly awful. Maybe ok if you don’t have much experience of Asian food, but for those who do, avoid like the plague. Utterly bland and tasteless, I could cook better and that’s saying something. I should end on a positive note; the toilets were nice and clean.

We ordered 2x beef ramen and noodles were unfortunately overcooked and all veg very soggy including coriander. Broth was also disappointing and bit tasteless. We ate in other Wagamamas before and everything was fine however this time the order massively disappointed us. We also ordered bang bang cauliflower and also was overcooked. My daughter had the usual fish balls with rice and katsu sauce however after one bite she didn’t want to eat anymore as she didnt like it (also wrong sauce came with the order) Very very disappointed and we spend just over £50 for this food for 3 people (one kid meal, two adults) I should add it was a takeout but we live not even 5 min away from restaurant so the sogginess wasn’t due to travel time.

I have visited Wagamama @ Silverburn today with my friend. The food was excellent, the service was happy and keen to help despite they were very busy. Wagamama is my favourite place to dine for many reasons. And huge thanks to Val, who looked after us and made sure everything was good with the food and service

I had a pretty poor experience here yesterday. I ordered the Tofu Hot Pot and it came with no butternut squash in it at all and it had way too much chilli in it. My dining partner ordered the Chicken Hot Pot and he confirmed my dish had 4 times the amount of chilli that his dish had. I picked as much of the chilli as I could out and it was 3 large chilli's worth, a good fist full, while my partner with the Chicken hot pot had about 10 thin slices of chilli in his hot pot dish. When I spoke to the waiter about my dish he told me that my dish was supposed to be like that and as I never had had the hot pot before I took him at his word. However looking it up today I can see that it should not have been so hot and that it should have contained the squash. I do not think the waiter was lying I think he simply didn't know. Anyway it was really disappointing when I have previously had good experiences at all Wagamama resturants. It was very busy yesterday and if the tofu hot pot had run out then they should have told me and I would have ordered something else rather than been given a substandard meal.

Nice service, food always good, katsu missing the pickles but on wife’s dish. Pricey tbh but like most things

I live in the US but visit Scotland often and whenever I do I always make sure to make a stop at this Wagamama. Everyone here is so kind. The food is amazing and they always cater to my dietary needs. I only have good things to say about this place!

Immaculate toilets with hot water. Pleasant eating areas with fixed refectory seating with vaulted mall ceiling giving a nice open feeling. Have dined there repeatedly to my satisfaction.

Ordered take away meal and upbeat juice - no ginger in the juice. Absolutely none. Disappointed as this is the main reason I ordered this drink (take away order). Unfortunately, when my husband called the restaurant, Jade started arguing and disagreeing with him on the phone (I could hear the conversation unfolding). Jade insisting that there was ginger in the drink and insinuating that my husband was lying! Not the case as he had our kids taste his drink at the restaurant - no ginger. This is the second time this has happened at Silverburn and both occasions the staff have handled the situation very poorly. I’d rather they were honest with customers when they run out of ginger so that customers can make an informed choice when placing an order. Hubby ate in with the kids tonight, he ordered the same drink - no ginger. Informed Lauren of the same and asked for ginger in the take away order (mine) and drank his juice without making a fuss. However, that’s not all that was amiss with my order unfortunately. My Shu’s Shiok Chicken also had no lime so the meal was dry. Not the standard I was expecting of Wagamama but it seems this is their standard, unfortunately. Mistakes happen but it’s how we address these mistakes that’s important. Did we receive good value or service for money tonight? I’m afraid not. Staff training is wanting.

Appalling service. Lots of staff running about but doing very little. Really slow to take our order. Meals all came separately and the third was forgotten all together. No apology offered and we weren’t the only unhappy customers

Visited Wagamamas for lunch and my partners meal arrived but mine didn't. When staff noticed this was due to the system being down they quickly rectified it and the food came piping hot and very quickly. Staff were very apologetic about the mistake and we were very understanding as it wasn't their fault. Super friendly staff, all with smiles on their faces and you always get tasty food when you visit here. One of our favourite lunch spots!

Popped in here for lunch one weekday afternoon and was not disappointed 😁. Friendly welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere and the food was first class. Great choice of both food and drinks on the menu, all of which are made fresh to order!

Food was pretty good however despite asking for no coriander, still ended up with coriander on my dish meaning all my food had a slight soapy taste. However if you like coriander I’m sure you’d love it. Staff where really nice and the place was clean

Took my friends here for there first wagamamas and I couldn’t of asked for a better experience !! With out a doubt better than any wagamamas I’ve been to in glasgow. Food was great as per usual but it was the staff that made it, everyone working seemed cheery and happy to help and drinks were out quickly from the bar . All round perfect experience, everyone will definitely be back 🙌🙌😁

I am a longtime customer of waga at this point, always comforting and reliable. But the meal me and my partner enjoyed at silverburn stood out as one I have particularly enjoyed. This was especially welcome after a string of disappointing and/overpriced experiences in other restaurants surrounding. My steak teriyaki soba was cooked to perfection and well presented. My partner got his usual ramen and remarked it was "banging" clean plates all round and cant fault the service. Portion of banana katsu is in my opinion rather stingey but that would be my only complaint.

Ordered food but it never arrived. Waiter failed to put it through properly on the computer! Left to go find food somewhere else.

Standing waiting to be seated. Restaurant half full, staff studiously ignoring us despite walking past us. No acknowledgment at all from at least 3 staff. When does clearing tables take precedence over greeting and acknowledging your customers. We left. Shocking.

We dined here the other night a party of 6 ordered 6 portions of gyoza to share 1 arrived and then another so we thought ok then the others would arrive but oh no we then were surprised the waitress arrived with our katsu currys and I said we still have not received our other 4 gyoza she said they are coming I started to say but we will be getting our starters with our main meals but she did not seem to understand this so i just left it and so I started to pour the katsu sauce over my meal as I ordered the hot one just like my daughter I complained my curry sauce was cold they took it away and made it fresh so now I had to wait for it to be brought back eventually got a fresh one and nearly everyone else had finished my daughter said hers was not very hot either. The other thing I would like to say is if you can manage to either stick to water or nothing to drink as tiny small bottles of coke 3.60 each x 8 £28.80 😡

I give order for no spicy food but I get spicy food it’s really bad they don’t care what you want and they just bring what they have .for service Sana she was such a nice girl how just bring over food’s (other person took our order and we told her I don’t want to eat spicy food) Atmosphere is no bad

I visit this Wagamamas around once a month with my son and there's a reason I keep going back. The staff are super friendly and helpful and so welcoming, particularly Adel who always makes our experience so much better. He's so lovely and kind and my son really likes him so he always has a lovely time. The food is always 10/10 and we're never really kept waiting to be seated. Staff are attentive but not overbearing. If you haven't been to Wagamamas before just take note that your food comes out at different times sometimes as it's freshly made but this doesn't bother us. Will always return here! Me and my cousin love this restaurant. Food is lovely and staff are really nice. The Chili Squid is a must. Definitely will be back soon.

Gave us the wrong dish (was for the person sat next to us) took it back then gave the same dish to the guy next to us!!! How disgusting. Also seen it sitting for about 15 mins before it was brought over.

Consistently great food here! We especially love the duck donburi. Very reasonably priced with good sized portions too. It's a nice touch that they offer green tea free of charge as well.

Amazing service and food. The ambience is the best so we could sit out in the mall and enjoy our food unlike the typical restaurant with closed seating. It was kid friendly and had kid menus.

As a huge fan of japanese cuisine, I went here with a set of expectations. And it was blown away. I loved the food. We also got our starters free because the restaurant was late making them. Would definitely visit again.

We have always wanted to try wagamama but we didn't enjoy our recent visit so we definitely won't be back. Firstly the service wasn't great, we were seated and ordered drinks but the server couldn't even smile to begin with, when thr drinks arrived it wasn't what we had ordered, a coke zero turned into a regular coke? With no explanation, then we ordered our food which was meant to be 2 katsu chicken curry, one with sticky rice and one with white rice but when these arrived both had sticky rice, the katsu curry was spicy not sweet at all and the chicken was overcooked, it fell to pieces without even cutting into and a little pink inside. We then asked for the bill which we waited ages for, we were forgotten about! It turned out that they had no coke zero left but noone thought to mention this to us....we could had ordered a different drink if they had. Thr service was just terrible! It certainly wasn't worth the money and possibly one of the worst katsu curry I have had!

Simply delicious. My new favourite place to eat.

Food was ok. Was cooked fresh and nice, but just never really tasted of anything. I had to add loads of soy sauce and loads of wagamama seasoning for it to taste good. Service was good. Chap was pleasant and helpful. Certainly wouldn't rush back. Very expensive for what you got. Was a noodle bar place directly across from wagamama. Should have just went there.

My first visit here,yesterday,with my pal. Lovely attentive staff, quick service, food beautifully presented, tasty,but oh my word it nearly made my eyes water! Hahaha! Just a wee bit too spicy for me, thats the only reason I havnt given 5 stars! Many thanks 😊

Had a katsu curry since i had heard good things, went in and the sauce wasn’t nice and to top it off the chicken was raw, wont be back don’t recommend.

Wagamama is an excellent chain offering high quality food and a pleasant dining experience. Springburn is a good example. The servers are friendly and efficient. Food is delicious and comes quickly, piping hot. Above all the smoothies are fantastic.

Good lovely as usual got ignored by my server so hard I was beginning to doubt my own existence. One of those meals where I watched my wife eating her dinner while I tried to get mine sent to the table and then she got to watch me eating my dinner. Not brilliant.

Always have had a positive experience on the visits we have had. Most recent visit was yesterday on my birthday and the service was great. Adel and the two joyful ladies part of his team who served us did an amazing job. They made us feel welcomed, comfortable and Adel remembered us after a short discussion showing the staff pay attention to their customers. The food is always delicious, we have never had any complaints. Top Japanese restaurant in my opinion and great value for your money, not to mention healthy.

My wife and I dined here yesterday. We were promptly welcomed into the restaurant by Adel, his enthusiasm and friendliness is an absolute credit to your company and himself. He leads by example and was very attentive to all our needs. It is a pleasure to dine in the Silverburn restaurant as they have a great team.

I love wagamama but BEWARE. You are made to pay online using a QR code and 20% vat is added on to your bill, on TOP of the menu prices (without this being mentioned on the menu). Nice food but so overpriced now and they should allow for cash payments.

Always a favourite of ours when we are in the UK. Is getting a bit pricey these days but food is good and varied. Service tends to lack and restaurants can be noisy with loud music. But we are always happy with our experience.

Other than the small chance they sit you right beside strangers(!) due to the table layout (long benches) this is a great place to visit. Chicken Ramen is always my go to, with some chicken gyoza to start. Super tasty.

Wagas silverburn is my go to, the food is always incredible. I recently had a problem with my order, I had ordered the wrong item, entirely my fault. I phoned only to ask a question and not expecting for the problem to be resolved but the lovely Jane went above and beyond to help me out, she offered to fix the order for me. Both her and Kate have provided amazing service. Props to wagas for having not only the tastiest food but such amazing employees!

My go to in Silverburn for food, can't fault it. If you like Katsu get the hot version it's even better than the standard.

Popped in here while out for a wander on a day off. We have been to Wagamama before in Glasgow and also over at the Fort, so knew what to expect. We shared the BBQ Pork Buns and the Chili Squid. Both were really nice. Would recommend both to anyone 👍 Mains we had the Katsu Chicken Curry and also the Chicken Raisukaree both were again really good. Drinks however slightly overpriced. Small bottle of coke and Sprite were £3.50 each! Overall though thumbs up 👍

Nothing special decent all around

Had a fantastic experience here yesterday. A member of staff was having lunch and it looked nice so I asked what menu item it was. He said it wasn't on the menu but he would have it made for me if I wanted, which I did. His name was Adel he was so friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be back!

Just remember the food cones to you when it's ready so you don't necessarily eat at the same time.

Love to eat here always enjoy our meals when we visit, just take care when ordering the bam bam it's really hot..

Decided to have some dinner whilst out for Christmas Shopping at Silverburn. Had Bang Bang Cauliflower, Chilli Squid, Hoisin Buns, Yaki Soba and a Firecracker Chicken. All deliciously fresh and tasty. The staff were all very polite and friendly, especially Adel who kept checking we were happy with each course and bringing over more drinks as our glasses emptied. Brilliant venue, service, staff and produce. Will certainly be going there for a meal again soon.

Great Experiences on multiple occasions and very accommodating to my little girl who uses a high chair.

This was my first time in Wagamama silverburn, I was served by Adel. He was very nice and friendly, he asked if I had any allergies and explained the food to me. The food was very delicious. I am very happy and will always come...

For the second time when I asked to sit at the raised table this was refused. Regardless of the reason( not enough staff claimed) why have these tables set up for customers? Otherwise all good.

Haven't been for 10 years plus and I don't know why!! Yaki soba was the business and the white chocolate and ginger cheesecake I'd literally kill for! Definitely need a bigger slice next time. Staff were great.

Busy as usual but portion sizes gave been obviously reduced and didn't feel the same VFM.

Decided to take some family for a special occasion. Sophie (our waitress) and the team were excellent. Great service, attentive, efficient, and friendly. Will definitely be back. Well done!

This place is always busy, it's kid friendly and the staff are very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, especially if you have food allergies! All the food is freshly prepared, so the waiting time is a bit longer after ordering but it is...
