Friendly service & delicious drinks and sweets. Sam who served us was very accomidating in meeting everyone's needs.

Best lunch had in ages. Was a grumpy wee bism until I ate and this totally cheered me up. The biryani was unbelievable. Keep it up guys 💪

A great place to go to relax and eat great food. From the quick bites to desserts, everything is delicious. The service is amazing, Sam provides wonderful customer service right the way through. Always going the extra mile to make the experience absolutely lovely, no matter how busy it gets. Wonderful service and amazing food.

Disappointing Experience – Wouldn’t Recommend I was at this place for breakfast and lunch today, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. I ordered an English breakfast, but it came without the tomatoes and mushrooms. When I went to inquire about it, the lady at the till, who lacked any customer service skills, casually told me, "Oh, the chef probably forgot to add them." She offered to check, but it already left a bad impression. I also ordered a cheesecake, which tasted old and was clearly not fresh. To add to the disappointment, I ordered a samosa chaat, which came without yogurt. Again, when I asked about this, the lady simply apologized and said, "It’s not my fault, it's the chef's." At that point, I left the food and walked out. This was my first and last visit to this place. I’ve been to many breakfast spots in Glasgow, and I’ve never experienced anything as bad as this. The food tasted old, and it was far from fresh. I would strongly advise others to try anywhere else but here—absolutely horrible.

We booked tables for 12 people and Sabah was a wonderful host. We had a lovely breakfast, the halwa was really delicious.

First time trying this wee gem of a place food lovely and service with a smile would defo recommend a visit the masala chips so good

The best café/restaurant in the area by far, the dishes are delicious, the welcome is perfect, it's not expensive, it's very clean and the decor is nice. Friendly and pleasant place.

Came here for a birthday brunch which was completely ruined by the awful young man at the counter who had a terrible attitude. He brought out the cake which was still in the box with the lid on and left it on the table, didn't say a word and left. When I specifically asked for it to be brought out unpackaged for the birthday girl. He had a negative, rude and unhelpful attitude even when we were ordering as well. Horrible boy, food was ok. Not coming back again! EDIT: Replying back to the rude and pathetic reply from Mi Chaii. You did not do me any 'favours' by simply dumping the cake onto the table, and you certainly did not provide any cutlery, plates or knife for the cake so stop with the blatant lies. It's common courtesy and common sense, that every other establishment seems to manage, to take the cake out the box or at least take the damn lid off, but I guess that's too many 'favours' to expect from Mi Chaii! Also, I spoke to the waitress and asked if she could bring the cake in and she went to the back to get permission, and was given the go ahead. If it wasn't your policy then you should make it clear to your employees. The waitress apologised profusely for the boys behaviour, it's a shame your staff member has more etiquette than you as the owner.

i love mii chai. they’re always so efficient with their service and their food is prepared delicately. if you ever need a quick bite that is simultaneously punchy and light, mii chai is the place to be. plus they’re open late until 11PM which is perfect for a night owl like me 🐱

Nice and calm environment. Tea was good and the cake was fresh and delicious.

We went as a family of 8 on a wet and windy morning. We were seated immediately and the lady closed the door as it was really cold. We ordered the desi breakfast the full English breakfast the butter chicken wrap chicken tikka wrap and french toast and for drinks we had Kashmiri chai karaoke chai and mint tea also normal tea and the kids had the white hot chocolate and normal hot chocolate too. Honestly can't fault any of the food or the service. A beautiful clean place would definitely go back if in the area

Hopped in here in need of help as I was in Glasgow, alone, with a dead phone, looking for my friends. Explained my situation to the staff who let me charge my phone behind the counter without asking me to buy something. Really generous hosts :) i ended up ordering pakoras which were out of this world!! They were the most delicious thing I’d ever eaten I swear! And super fast service of food too, without compromise on deliciousness. Sam was a wonderful host, kind and considerate. Patient and friendly. Big shout out and thank you to her <3 10/10 would recommend, I can’t wait to be back in the south side so I can take my missing (now found) friends to dinner

The worst customer service Ghetto and really poor waitresses who do to know how to serve their customer. Especially the ones who wears a headscarf and I do not know her name. But she is impolite, cheap low standard and bringing the reputation of the restaurant down This is me being nice. The food and chef are really nice. Hadn't been here for a while after a very bad experience. Its changed hands and is totally different. Saba in the kitchen is putting lovely well prepared food on the tables. The front of house staff are very attentive and make sure everything is ok. Best karak chai I've tasted. I think I missed that the most. I'll be back!

Disappointing that a place called "Mi Chaii" doesn't know that a chai latte does not contain coffee. Barista refused to make other drinks for us, despite us having already paid. Eventually he made another without coffee, however this was hot water with a splash of milk and hardly any chai spices. Poor customer service. We won't return.

First time visiting and the food was fantastic, staff were brilliant, the place was spotless and looked great, tunes on the radio were giving great vibes. 10/10 overall. Can't wait to come back and try more on the menu. Thanks gents!

It's a lovely little cafe serving delicious freshly prepared food. I have been a few times with my daughter and we both love their Karachi bun Kebabs and ofcourse Kashmiri Chai with nuts. Staff is always welcoming and courteous. I would certainly recommend it especially for a light bite with nice cup of chai :)

This place has a lot of potential, but it doesn't live up to it I went in, ordered, and sat down. There were two tables with people, and one had been served. I asked for a cappuccino and a cheese sandwich, £6.75 in total. The sandwich was good but very simple both in terms of the bread used and the presentation. The coffee was excessively hot, and it wasn't a cappuccino. I was focused on my laptop and didn't try it immediately, which is why I opted not to say anything . It wasn't frothy. It was more of a white americano and the milk had burned. Let alone it was served in a takeaway cup, though I was staying in. Overall, it was slow, and I wouldn't go back. The front staff was all right. I read other reviews with similar experiences... It's a nice place, well presented, spacious and whatnot. If I wasn't visiting, I'd give it another go, but I won't regret not going again.

The kashmiri chai which came with desi breakfast was COLD!! And I couldn’t find the halwa puri on the menu. Which is a must for desi restaurants I think. Other than this food was ok/average. Service was good. Bit overpriced.

Took my mum here for lunch and it was a wonderful experience! We both had the chicken kebab rolls with paratha, mint sauce and masala chips plus 2 soft drinks. It was really reasonably priced and the staff were just lovely. A lot cheaper than other places in the area but great food quality. We recommend and will come again!

Sam made mine and my friends experience at Mi Chaii amazing. She made us lovely mocktails and was really friendly. The food - I got butter chicken with to fresh paratha and my friend got Biryani and Paratha, were so good. We got desserts which were also very good.

we are from Germany and this is the best breakfast place we tried in Glasgow. For all the people who are complaining about how slow is the service is, we were told that the Chai will take 10 minutes which is fine. the place is clean and has very friendly staff. We tried the Desi breakfast and pakora.

Delicious food at a very reasonable price. Has a kids menu which is useful. I love having the chicken biryani and the Kashmiri tea. Food is always served pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly.

The French toast was delicious, and really lovely service from Sam and Lara. Will definitely be back!
