Seoul Restaurant in Glasgow City

Such a great spot , the staff were so friendly and the food was just awesome. Had such a great time would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try Korean cuisine

We have tried different food in two consecutive days and they didn't fail us! They also have a non spicy broth which is hard to find in a Korean... I loved it (ordered it in both 2days)! And the Korean wine... Oh so good! (can't remember the name but it has plum in it).

It was a nice and clean place. Very close by to the George Square. It was looking professional. Neat and Tidy.

This is our second visit here. We arrived early, about 5:00pm and it was empty but it soon filled up with mainly young Asian, perhaps Korean people. The plates of food are huge so I decided on two starters. My chicken dish was noted as spicy but I didn't find it so although it was so tasty I would have it again. The tempura prawns are to die for, the batter was so light and the prawns huge. T I have a friend who visited Korea this summer and she told me the food was too spicy for her and if they do not want it spicy they have to ask for it "white". Perhaps they tone down the spice for British people so when we visit here again, and we will, I will tell them I can eat hot and spicy food.

What a terrible service, the staff were really uninviting, the restaurant ‘s surroundings is so dark and the food is overrated, very pricey for the quality of the food. So unprofessional ,staff were having dinner during service time while a lot customers still dinning. When another table was looking for service, one member of staff just got up from dinning table and serving them while chewing his food. Very embarrassing, I did pay by card which clearly there was more than enough fund to cover the bill. The payment was declined 3times I had to try using different cards and still declined without giving any receipts. I understand this kind of issue can arise but the worst part was the staff attitude, just unfriendly and never cracked a smile once. Totally disappointed.

Staff unwelcoming, poor food and bad service. Also the atmosphere was poor. Many tables weren't cleared for long time. A young waiter was the only one who worked properly and smiled to customers. We were three people, two of us used a groupon, the other ordered from a la carte menu. We were served in three different moment. So everybody ate alone his main dish. The starter (dumplings) was really poor in terms of quantity. The main were disappointed. I felt I waste my time and my money.

Nice place. It wasn't busy when we went on the weekend. Price was okay but more expensive than other places we have visited around the UK.

Staff: 4 out of 5. Welcoming staff Decoration: 3 out of 5. Music: why not Korean songs;) Food: 1)Beef Platter. We had beef platter, it was nice. Enjoying the moment when you do Korean barbecue. Even it is a small set but we really appreciate that we could have Korean barbecue in Glasgow. 2)Kimichi pancake. Love it. Will still get this next time. Will definitely back. I am wondering is do you guys have karaoke in the restaurant?

Firstly I went with two friends from Australia, both are Asian and very well experienced in this type of restaurant. As soon as we sat down they said that something didn't feel authentic. There were no exhaust fans/hoses above the tables. Seeing that there was at least a cooking hot plate at the tables we opted for a meat platter. The heat produced to cook was not enough to BBQ the meat, it boiled it! One of my friends turned the heat up to the max but it was turned down twice by the staff who said "it will burn the hotplate, it makes it hard to clean" He was promptly told to leave it alone as we knew what we were doing. The meats were very poor cuts and proved difficult to chew! Other than the meats we ordered rice and a couple of side dishes plus a water and 2 juices. the cost of the meal was £66 - very expensive given how little food we ate. I have never before left a restaurant hungry, not happy. In Sydney it's all you can eat for a set price. We left feeling hungry and unsatisfied, so much so that we went to The Nippon Kitchen on West George Street straight after, we ordered enough food to cover our table, drinks and a flight of sake all for £70. This was very filling and extremely tasty, great value and just what we should have done in the first place. Avoid the Seoul Kitchen - go to The Nippon Kitchen.

There was an unfriendly welcome, restaurant had 2 other dinners in now I know why, WOW the prices are excessive, but here's hoping the price reflects the food quality...NOPE!!! there was no hope, except one overly spicy dish every other dish was bland, the noodles over cooked, and the Duck was dry, chewy and very un-flavourful. This was pointed out to staff who had no reply. Except pleasant decor I have nothing to good to say regarding this place. Would not recommend or visit again.

Good food, good price. Definitely recommended for korean food lovers. Tried the clay-pot rice (bibimbap). Amazing. 4 stars because did not try the others.

We had been once before and had the mixed hot pot. Very cheap ingredients even though it cost £30. We thought we would give it one more go. Terrible decision in hindsight. My daughter and I both had the teriyaki chicken, and my girlfriend the chicken noodle soup. The soup had no flavour and was not spicy at all. My chicken was almost cold. My daughters chicken was pink in the middle, and one piece was red!!! The waitress was very unapologetic and very forgetful. Took us 30 mins to get the bill and leave. We will never eat here again. A very bad experience all round.

I visited this restaurant with my husband son and daughter in law . My son and daughter in law love korean food . Personally I didn't like it its not to my taste . A nice little restaurant though .

We really enjoyed the BBQ beef, kimchi soup, bimbibab and crispy chicken. Accompanied by hite beer. We have visited South Korea and found the food very authentic. Staff very friendly.

I went to this restaurant for dinner with my friends. We ordered spicy soup, bibimbap, pancakes and rice cakes. They are all in edible grade. The taste was not authentic, it was also plain and almost tasteless. Luckily, they provided the kochujung sauce for you....

Popped in here on a girls day out. Couldn't decide where to go and thought we would try something different! We weren't disappointed. We ordered the bento boxes and they were amazing. Chicken fried dumplings, crispy chicken, rice and curry sauce. delicious. Will definitely return.

Not the easiest place to find but what a gem of a place. If you want something different, then this Korean place is just the place for you. The service is top notch, with friendly staff, the restaurant layout is very comfortable and nice decor....

Love this restaurant. Food taste very authentic and can't get it anywhere else in Glasgow. Staff is nice and place has a great atmosphere. Will definitely make this my regular place to dine.
