Wagamama in Gloucester

Tonight we were served by the lovely Thu, she was very kind when I was indecisive between choices and she gave great descriptions. Turns out I love kimchi! So happy it lived up to her passionate description 💜

Firstly the service was fabulous especially jasmine who was extremely kind and helpful.The food was really good I recomed raven.The atmosphere was really heart warming.The light were beautiful.The toilets were very clean

Fantastic staff, fantastic food and a wonderful atmosphere! The staff were incredibly helpful, made suggestions, were happy and really enjoy their job! I'm my view it makes my experience all the more enjoyable!

Sorry to say, I won’t be using this restaurant again in Gloucester. I’ve been to others and the service has been excellent here. Everything went wrong. In the end asking repeatedly where is our food no one come back and informed us we then asked again for the final time. Someone said they forgot to put the ticket through so with that we left hungry and we went to find another. stay away from this restaurant the service is terrible

It has been third time in the past 2 weeks I have been going to Wagamama. Every dish I have tried so far has been amazing. Fire cracker, raisukaree, yaki soba, ramen all have been delicious. Bao buns are my to die for favourites. Staff especially Katie has been super amazing. I really liked the ambience.

Lack of respect for the customer. I informed them that I am allergic to peppers and other hot ingredients. And what we ordered came with pepper and other similar ingredients. We could not eat it. Restaurant to be avoided. Terrible service.

I took a student from Ruskin Mill here for dinner tonight. The two staff that looked after us were absolutely brilliant, Hayley who. Found us a spot away from a speaker and explained everything and Bailey who served us was great with my student. Thank you both, excellent

Wow. I've always been partial to a wagamamas but what I just ate here was the best food I've ever eaten. Absolutely amazing. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly.

Usually good,but tonight was awful..staff uninterested and working like they didn't care. Food was luke warm and watery dishes..

We had a wonderful experience with our pupils on Thursday 30th January . The pupils were able to take part in a workshop preparing a meal learning to use chopsticks and tasting a variety of different things . The Wagamamas team were amazing really friendly very helpful and fantastic with our pupils who really enjoyed their visit ! The food was all fantastic we all had an amazing time thank you to all the team !! Natalie Johnson

It is fast service with plenty of options which are gluten and dairy free.

Kings new clothes . 6 mains 6 starters delivered promptly i have to say . Good descriptions were making the food sound wonderful. However on arrival cold tasteless squid tama and Prawn curry dish again cold watery sauce and the rice was claggy. Hugely disappointed £138 for 6 starters and 6 mains so average prices but decidedly average food . Better available elsewhere.

When did it become acceptable to pay £20 to eat from a plastic bowl... whilst sitting on a hard bench

Not a good Waga's - been here twice; first time the food was cold and had to re-done. Second time the food took a very long time (it wasn't that busy, and we didn't order anything out of the ordinary), and when it came, it was cold (again). Service was great, but that doesn't make up for cold food.

The food is delicious, I love the katsu chicken curry. service has been prompt on two occasions I have been in. Only thing that I struggle with is the benches. I don’t find the seating very comfortable. But I shall be back!

Great food good service, food and drinks arrive quickly. Service was really good, friendly staff served us with a smile. My only complaint and this is a company policy thing is when you pay you are prompted to add a tip. Bit too American for me.

Wagamama's are generally well run establishments. The Gloucester Quay one is no exception. While not full, the restaurant was pretty busy, and the staff and food were both consistently good, friendly, and efficient. The Korean style ramen was spicy but with a deep flavour you could still enjoy. One small gripe, I would have expected more than 3 of the tteokbokki rice cakes. Otherwise, I would definitely order again.

Great service with lots of smiles from Asia and her colleagues. Delicious food and nice ambiance. Free green tea is a big plus. I'll definitely come back again. Recommended!

Very disappointing Pad thai! While i understand you no longer add peanuts due to allergy issues i cant understand why you would add crispy onions and MINT!! Absolutely ruined what was once a nice dish. When queried i was told its listed and my responsibility!! This is no longer a pad thai and should be renamed accordingly!! Spoilt a family catch up for me and the “i dont care attitude “ was very unhelpful.

I've ordered from this place around 20+ times over the past couple of years and almost every single time the crispy chilli squid is not crispy, rubbery and seems undercooked to me. Other dishes are nice though, just please sort out the crispy chilli squid.

Spur of the moment decision to eat here and I am glad we did. Lovely service staff and really good food.

We were served by a Celeste who was genuine, chatty and very attentive for a walk in group of five. She bought green tea out of pocket when they had run out and we were given complimentary desserts to try. Food was lovely and timely and i’ll definitely be coming back, probably at the same time in hopes of being served by the same staff haha. Came out feeling very satisfied thank you!

First time visiting this venue of Wagamama's. It was nice and spacious. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Food was good and arrived quickly. Minor downside was the recently introduced Wagamama's app wouldn't work! But only a minor inconvenience 🙂

Wagas prices are starting to sore upwards

Went for lunch, it was pretty quiet, so had a nice peaceful meal.

I went there two days in a row as there is a cinema next door. The first day, the ramen was ok, but the tea stain egg was cold. My lychee and yuzu drink was mixed nicely. Second day, chicken ramen. The broth was tasteless, and the Lychee and Yuzu drink was not mixed at all. The server asked if everything was OK and offered to add some sauce. But I tried to fix it with the soya sauce on the table. Chicken was dry and needed to soak on the broth to soften it. When I came to pay, a different server asked if everything was OK. Told her the broth was tasteless, and she said its because sometimes they have added a bit too much water. Quality control issues there! For a chain restaurant, there has to be a standard. They took the cost of the drink off which was good of them.

Consistently fabulous pan-Asian food. Great small plates and big ramen bowls or spicy Thai & Japanese inspired curries including the legendary Katsu chicken/tofu. The food always feels "clean" even though the calorie count says otherwise!

Nothing went wrong, and it is a lovely resteraunt, however the food is just too bland. Chicken ramen was less flavoured than pot noodles. My pad Thai was very bland, with no flavour at all. Chicken gyoza was good.

We had a great evening here with Celeste as our server, could not have been friendlier or more attentive. She recommended dishes to us when struggling to order and just made the whole experience that much better. Food was fab as always! Would come back again just for Celeste's service :)

Friendly staff, good food at an affordable price. The menu is quite limited but the quality of food is excellent, the benches that are supplied to sit on however are bolted to the floor and quite uncomfortable.

The online order, which had been accepted on the website for some reason did not show on the restaurant system. This was very disappointing. The staff however in the restaurant were great and rushed our order through.

Very delicious food. The only thing I don't like about this chain is that they don't serve the ordered dishes at the same time, so there is always someone at the table who starts eating when the rest have already finished.

I ordered milk tea and ramen with Gyojo dumplings. The tea is delicious and the presentation is beautiful. The ramen is also beautifully presented, but the taste is not what I expected. Maybe it's just my taste. The chicken gyoza was very tasty and had a slightly sour sauce. The ramen noodles didn’t have curls like I’m used to, most likely it’s because they use different noodles, or they pull them themselves. It was spicy, but not as spicy as I was used to. But otherwise I liked everything. The ramen was brought hot, piping hot, so to speak. My friend ordered another dish, I don’t know the name, since she just pointed her finger at the picture on the menu. They brought the dish exactly the same as in the picture. It was fried chicken with vegetables in a sweet sauce and white rice on the side. A friend said that she liked it, although it was spicy. We also ordered corn dogs for two. We also ordered them according to the picture on the menu. They turned out to be vegetarian, which surprised us, since we thought they were filled with minced fish. As for the atmosphere, the establishment is very beautiful. Dim light, cozy tables in a style reminiscent of a Loft. Quiet music. Suitable for dates and photos for social networks. The service is great too. Although I think that too often people came up to us and asked: do we like everything and do we want to order something else?

Extortionate prices. £14 for a bowl of soup with chicken. The 4 of us received our food at different times. Less than comfortable bench seats.

Always clean, amazing portions and all meals are always really healthy and nutritious. Staff are always really nice and they have many vegan and vegetarian options.

We usually love coming to wagamama, but had a poor experience with the family today. Cold food, only partially better when recóoked, and really slow service (rare!). I wondered if they felt they met their own standards. Talked to the lovely waitress and they were short staffed and had trouble with the kitchen today apparently. They knew we had a poor experience but offered nothing, just gave us the bill and expected full payment. Disappointed they weren't proactive and just hoped we would go, spoilt our family celebration. Suspect we will go to an independent business in future, don't see the chain deserves our money.

I have visited this Wagamama many times over the last few years, and it remains my go-to if I'd like a meal with friends! The customer service is always excellent, whether it's busy or quiet. I have never had a server who wasn't friendly and helpful. The food is also lovely! The grilled chicken ramen and tama squid are my favourites. This branch also has great atmosphere, especially with the lighting. On average, I spend about about £20 per head there. On my most recent visit, it was a bit more because we decided to get dessert and another drink each. The meals are typically very filling so you might not need sides (I always make room for the tama squid though). Overall, I strongly recommend this Wagamama! I've never had a bad experience there.

I’ve eaten at other Wagamamas and have enjoyed the food and service. Finally convinced my wife to try Wagamamas Gloucester. The waiter appeared quickly and took our drinks order, but we weren’t ready to order food, so asked for another minute. 10 minutes later we started trying to get their attention, which proved impossible because they spent most of their time staring in to the kitchen and fiddling with things on the counter. We eventually got the attention of another member of waiting staff and asked if we could place our order. They told us our original waiter would do it and then spoke to them. 20 minutes after placing our drinks order, we paid for our drinks online and left. If I ever convince my wife to try Wagamamas again, it won’t be the Gloucester branch that we visit.

Wagama is always good but a special thanks to Josie, who went above and beyond to make it a very nice evening. The service makes all the difference!

First time for us. Loved the food, great service, atmosphere great. Will definitely go back. Yeah you might sit with people you don't know but you have plenty of space and it really doesn't matter. Would recommend.

Good food - very carefully with allergies.

This was my first experience at Wagamamas as I live abroad. The food was tasty and hot, though they didn't have my main course available (no prawns)! The service is random. We chose starters and main courses. (5 persons). One person's main course arrived before all of the starters had been served and he was finished before mine arrived. The system of writing the order on the placemat is very unusual, and I didn't like the waiters leaning across me to write it down.

Nice food but I'm not sure they understand the concept of running a restaurant,they bring the mains out before the starters 🤣 great staff though,,and the steak wasn't rested

Awful experience overall. Plate freezing cold. Food cold. Prawn dish forgotten. Defensive and rude female member of staff. Male members of staff more apologetic. Worst Wagamama restaurant ever visited.

I went there with my sister the other day and it wasnt very busy which was nice, our waiters were very nice and explained how some things worked because they had multiple kitchens, it was all lovely and looked amazing inside and the food was amazing and came quickly. We'll definitely be going there again
