The Portivo Lounge quickly became one of our favorite places to dine in when we visit Gloucester. Food and service are spot on! The Miami brunch is something we will recommend!!

Firstly, I am surprised to read such negative reviews about the staff/service. They were all absolutely delightful! (Thank you for getting the chefs tip on the chickpeas!) We sat outside on a glorious sunny day, coffee, tea and shared a flatbread which was delicious! Great menu choice, great service. If we lived locally we would return.

There are Vegan and Gluten-free menus upon request with MANY options. There is also a kids' menu with coloring. Allergy food requests/orders are made at the bar - the manager took the order himself out of respect and concern for allergies. Make sure you know your table number when you go to order. For normal humans ordering, you can order via QR code at your table or at the bar. I was hungry and ordered (all Gluten-free) soup of the day which was carrot and orange, falafel & Advocado sandwich, strawberries & cream milkshake, and finished off with Banoffee cheesecake. In the burger, good balance of ingredients and the falafel was crispy and delicious. They gave me a GF bun and with the soup a toasted GF roll with butter on the side. The soup was smooth, blended well, was a pleasure and had a little kick - but I am sensitive to Spices, so you might not find it "spicy" like I do haha; a little kick like a curry has. It reminded me of a nice, warm carrot bread with the seasonings, highly recommend. Well, I recommend everything I ordered! The Whipped cream on the milkshake and Banoffee cheesecake was on point! Tasted fresh and close to homemade if not homemade. If I lived closer, I would be here once a month for sure. On my list for whenever I am back in the area. There is self-serve Tap water on ground and 1st floor. There are also high chairs for toddlers upon request or, if you are inclined to retrieve it yourself, behind the stairs by the handicap bathroom. Seating outside (ground floor) as well as inside, downstairs and upstairs. The regular toilets are up 2 flights of stairs but there is a handicap bathroom on ground floor with a baby changing station. By the stairs, there are some books for kids and adults as well as some games if people are willing to put down their phones.

Dog friendly and the food was fantastic. A lovely relaxing space with great music set at tbe right level for us to still chat. Just wish they had real ale!!

After Googling for gluten free places to eat Portivo Lounge in Gloucester popped up so we decided to try it and we weren't disappointed. They have an extensive gluten free range including desserts! Staff were very helpful and friendly and helped make the atmosphere what it is. Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend.

This is a pleasant coffee shop that is part of a large chain. All the Lounges I have been to have been excellent and this venue is no exception. The food and service were excellent and the coffee was fantastic. I don't know how they do it but the coffee I have bought from Lounges has always been amazing. I don’t know how they do it but it’s truly amazing.

We visited in early July and the food & drink was lovely, the Buttermilk fried Chicken with fries and slaw was cooked to perfection. The house special Pink lemonade was great and our kids enjoyed the pancakes & sausage bap Lounge service means you order meals online or at the counter which might not be for everyone

As always, great food. Tasty and full of flavour. They take the time and care to cater for people with allergies, food requirements.

Popped in here for a burger. I tried the Lounge burger. I asked for an additional meat patty in it too. It looked good when it arrived, but I knew I wouldn't be able to get that in my mouth, so had to eat it with a knife and fork. The meat fell apart very easily - almost crumbled instead of some other burger places. The taste was good, I only just managed to finish it as it was really quite big. The coleslaw was really good too. Will try something else next time, but this definitely hit the spot.

We had tapas and we were very disappointed as they had obviously been microwaved and were of poor quality.

We called in for breakfast on a Saturday morning after stopping at Gloucester on the way to Cornwall. It was busy, with people sitting indoors and outdoors, but the service was friendly and efficient they were also very accommodating with regards to swapping items on the menu. The food was served quickly and was a delicious and interesting variation of a vegetation breakfast. It was also nice to find a dog friendly venue in a city centre.

This is a lovely. Cosy warm and welcoming bar ,went with a group of 30 friends for food Very well organised,staff were very friendly. And helpful , love the decor also And also dog friendly which is always a bonus Only downfall. No access. For disabled upstairs or no lift , so no good for party’s then Otherwise love the place

Greeted by a server who yawned in our faces which didn't give a great first impression. Sat down, saw how filthy everything was and decided to go elsewhere before ordering. Disappointing as from the outside it looks like a rather nice establishment.

Absolutely fabulous service, food is always fresh and hot! Brilliant staff all willing to go above and beyond for you, catering for vegan and any dietary requirements. Friendly atmosphere and just bloody lovely! Totally recommend!

I do like this chain of restaurants, the inside is art deco meets shabby chic. The food is excellent and attentive service. I recommend the tandoori burger. Like my Google maps review to get 5 stars don't charge 5:95p a pint but overall a lovely establishment

1st time visitor. We popped in for breakfast. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was good, good quality bacon and sausage. Food arrived quickly and was hot. Will definitely come again next time I shop in Gloucester quays. Thank you.

Came here for lunch today 19/3/24 and must say it was very good. Couldn't fault anything we had, the philly cheese steak and the chicken club sandwich. We didn't bother with any chips as the sweet potato was a ripe off at £3.30 You can buy a whole bag and some from the supermarket for that price. Biscoff milkshake and apple juice were both good. Staff friendly enough and service was quick and food came fast from ordering on the phone from your table.

Ordered through the qr code on table. Staff were friendly when food was brought out. Milkshake was definitely blended with ice so just tasted like watery melted ice cream. Toppings on the souvlaki flatbread were great but the bread was so hard I could have used it as a Frisbee.

Went to Portivo last Sunday for brunch, very busy, had a lovely meal, with a cup of hot chocolate staff very friendly enjoyed the time.

Came here with a meat eater and gluten free friend. It was great the Lounge had a separate GF and Vegan menu - we all managed to get a great tasting meal. I loved the smashed avo on ciabatta with some button mushrooms, vegan bacon and falafel. Tasted scrummy.

Went for Breakfast, quick, and the food was hot delicious and plenty, my husband had the large breakfast, and I had the lounge breakfast which was enough for me. Definitely will return.

From walking in, the atmosphere felt warm, friendly and inviting. The staff were great and engaging. Food was amazing, hot, fresh and very tasty. This place is worth going to Gloucester Quays for.

The atmosphere was great. We went for a few bits and bobs of food and to meet friends. The staff treated us well. We asked to reserve a table, but they only do that for tables of 6 and more, so we came back later. It was quite busy but there was one high table left which was fine for food and conversation. The food came relatively quickly, and it tasted as it does in all other lounges. If I'm back in Gloucester, I'll be back

Usually go to the Estero Lounge in Monmouth but being in Gloucester for a Cinema visit thought we would try this version in the Loungers sites. Same varied menu and more great service from this team.

My friend and I came here for a weekday lunch recently, and were very pleased. There are several brunch/lunch options on the menu, most of which can be customised to some degree. There's also a good selection of cocktails/mocktails to go with it. Food can be ordered at the bar, or from the table using QR codes. All our food came quickly and was tasty, and staff were polite. The restaurant interior is just like the other members of this chain: traditionally British with a little bit of eccentricity.

Food was good but was a long wait (informed in advance). Reasonably priced. Ordered coffee and softdrinks but was only delivered the former, had to go to bar to get the rest of our drinks.

Had a great experience, my younger sister hates mayo and we didn’t realise her tapas game with mayo on, the waiter was extremely helpful and replaced both of these swiftly without charging us i could not fault the service and had a lovely meal.

We visit Gloucester Quays regularly and always eat at Portivo, Ivy served us today and she was very efficient and welcoming. 5 stars for Ivy 😀

£13+ was expensive for an all day breakfast, but it was goood. When I asked to skip a couple of items, they just swapped for what I did want. The real question is would I go here and pay this much again or go to a weatherspoons a pay *much* less. Portivo it is.spoons food has gone waaay down in quality and quantity since the pandemic.

The order by table app is appalling, it wouldn’t be so bad if they had descent WiFi to back it up.

Have used this restaurant for a number of years however on the last two occasions the breakfast food was served cold,l spoke to the manager who was unsympathetic and could nt care less it's a shame l won t be back again.

It was our first time here, and I had the Nasi Goreng. As a Malaysian, I approved of this dish; it tasted very similar to home.

Ordered on the app drinks and food, food arrived in 15 minutes but drinks didn't arrive until we had finished the food, very poor service.

Stopped for a drink, sat outside, good service, didn't eat so can't rate, worth a booze and 5min break from shopping

We decided to have brunch here on our way to a rugby match last Saturday. We are so glad we tried Portivo Lounge, a lovely place. 2 had the big lounge breakfast, one had the veggie breakfast and I opted for the gluten free miami brunch with added chorizo. All were very good & there were clean plates all round. The gluten free & vegetarian menus here are great, plenty of choices all day. The miami brunch was a great mix with avocado, salsa, poached eggs, black beans and some delicious cheddar & sweetcorn fritters. We will be back to try tapas next time we are in Gloucester.

This is our second time eating in Portivo, Sunday breakfast, fantastic shakshuka ( veggie one) , very tasty spicy meal, traditional english for my partner good size large portion. Beatufull coffee - strongly reccomend. Great service as I had delivered shakshuka with horizo( wanted veggie option) presumeably my hubby was focused on something else than this detail when was ordering my meal, Anyway replaced with veggie immediately when asked. And again very very tasty, reasoneable prices. Gratefull for my beautifull time here.

Good service here, staff are usually very attentive and helpful. Lovely location on the docks and great for groups. Tea and coffee always good and nice range of wine and beer. but it would be good to see the menu updated with some new options, especially for allergies, vegan and vegetarian. Surcharge on plant based milks bit unfair. Something a bit more exciting apart from veg curry, breakfast or burgers or such like.

Enjoyed an evening meal here at the weekend with my family. Really good choice of food options. Beautiful location. Upstairs seating also available with some window tables overlooking the quay. As a vegetarian, I enjoyed the halloumi burger.

Turned up without a booking for 3 of us, was busy, but we weren't treated like a problem. Sat down, decent and varied menu at a higher price, but is priced correctly for the quality. Perfect food presentation, and perfectly cooked. Really was great here. Would recommend if you are in the Quays/Docks area.
