Food is always good here. Slightly disappointed last time with the lack of service. Staff walking past empty plates and glasses on numerous occasions with empty hands! One food choice took an inordinate amount of time so much so it was removed from the bill which was a nice touch.

Two days running had issues mains being brought out 20 minutes apart so we all ate a different times. Them after bringing out all but mine I’m told by the waitress that there’s no beef for my main after complaining to the manager it miraculously appears with the excuse that it’s now the side that I ordered that they don’t have. Absolutely hopeless will never eat in this chain again.

We stayed tonight with my wife. . We got on very well. The restaurant is welcoming, excellent food and service. I'd like to leave a positive feedback for the the manager that served me tonight. She was very kind, well-prepared and professional. Furthermore, at the demand for gluten-free food for my wife, she made sure that the kitchen environment was free of contamination in the preparation of the dish. We been extremely happy to eat here.

Visited Saturday evening and it wasn't too busy. I require gluten free and my order was taken and marked appropriately. I also asked for the chilli squid because it's marked online as not containing gluten, however it's not in the GF menu because it is cooked in the same frier and therefore they cannot guarantee it doesn't contain traces (which I am fine with). This was lovely! I would love to see gluten free soy sauce available though. My husband had the steak terriyaki soba which he said was not as good as other wagamamas we have been to. The steak was a lot thinner and a little overcooked. Service was good and I will go back if in Winchester

Came here with my friend and his family, one of which is gluten intolerant. Wagamama is so good at catering for people with allergies. They had a separate gluten free menu and explained how their chefs don't cross contaminate. Food was pretty good, you know what you're getting there, I had a mackerel dish which was tasty. Service was excellent

Ordered from waga for first time on deliveroo. Utter litter. Cold food which had clearly been reheated. The beef description was tender and succulent. But actually like chewing an old leather trainer. Salad was cardboard. First and last time. Sign of the times that people accept this poor imitation of food and pay for the privilege. No wonder company’s like this come and go. When a Labrador won’t eat your beef guys you need to look at yourselves. Worst takeaway ever by a long way.

I really wanted to shout out Georgie and her manager (a lady with a ponytail and a pride lanyard). I shared I was Coeliac with the team, and they were quick to bring out appropriate menus and information to help me make my choice. When I expressed I was a little disappointed in the veggie-friendly options, they were quick to make ramen to my needs, and with added extras to make it a full-sized meal. I was so impressed with their care to making sure I had a nice experience! When I asked, they talked me through what each table condiment contained and then went to find me some gluten-free soy sauce, despite the fact they were getting very busy with more tables to serve. The waitress then went on to have a lovely manner with me and my friends, being very warm and friendly as we made our choices for dessert (wags has one of the BEST non-gluten dessert menus I have ever seen!) Overall I was so happy with my experience, and feel as though Georgie and the manager on the night (sorry I never got her name!) need a special shout-out for making us feel so relaxed and happy.

Understand the principle that food comes when it is ready but it taking it a bit far when I had to wait 20 minutes for sashimi salmon crispy otsumami which requires very little effort involved. Then when we were finished I saw three member of staff chatting and the only way i could get anyone’s attention to get a second drink was to flamboyant wave my arms around. To then be asked by the server am I ok? And with distain my drink order was taken. Clearly I was not ok as I was thirsty because my first drink order taken before my food and I had finished my meal over 20 minutes ago. at 8:50 with a near empty restaurant this is below standard service. Maybe there is an issue with staff training or management. Furthermore could not make out our table number and pay remotely, so not only was the face to face service was below par yet we were trapped as we could not leave and pay.

Walked in, and our presence was not even acknowledged for 15 mins. Staff were serving deliveries and simply ignoring people waiting. Terrible system, management is clearly inept. Not a single member was paying attention to either ourselves or another couple waiting. Getting a manager took far too long, so we just left. 0 stars for their do called service!

Super staff, soooo friendly. Ella and Karl especially. Really enjoyed our Donburi rice dish and the Udon, ginger, chilli, chicken dish. Ella recommended the Bang Bang c'flower which was delicious. Will definitely return. Went back a second time, equally good. Must recommend the prawn nori rolls. Warning : the hot pot whilst delicious has a super spicy broth. Will definitely return. Great value too. Back again, tried the hot chicken Katsu. Yum! Will keep going back.

Missing items from takeaway. Winchester Wagamama would not give a replacement or refund until they had checked the cctv as apparently they have really good checks to make sure there are no missing items. Obviously checks did not work this time. I did not receive an apology and was made to feel like I was lying. I still have not received a refund or an apology. Very disappointing as we love the food

Went here for the first time and given the experiences we’ve had at other Wagas this fell far short We were seated quickly with drinks ordered immediately but then waited for 20 mins for those to arrive at which point the server didn’t even ask if we were ready to order so had to call her back Food arrived after what seems like ages, but it was only the mains and the steak was overcooked on the teriyaki soba, 10 mins in we checked for our sides being 2 chilli squid, one arrived a couple of minutes later but then had to remind server there were 2 ordered, took one bite to be met with the equivalent of chewing rubber so left them. We then asked for both to be removed from the bill but were told to wait until manager could speak to us, after another 10 mins we had to go and find the manager to be told only one had been removed, after the second one removed as we paid but definitely will not be going back as reason given for poor food was that they weren’t expecting to be as busy as they were which basically translated as our chefs and staff can’t cope or maintain standards if it’s busy.

Went here for my son's birthday. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere and service was great, nothing was too much trouble. We had a person using a wheelchair so it was great to have an accessible toilet within easy reach. Loved the ice cream with coconut.

We had Yasai veg Gyoza, raisukaree curry, bang bang cauliflower, and tofu hot pot. Loved the hot pot and Gyoza. Cauliflower, not so much. Would love to try ramens and donburi varieties. The staff was polite. You can either pay them from the website, a bit combursome, or use a pos device. I think this online payment is to cut the costs further. My kid was given crayons on arrival, which was nice.

Wouldn’t usually write a review for a chain restaurant but felt this one necessary. The review is based on a particular staff member. The staff member in question was rude and condescending, her name was Abi. Whilst taking our drinks order she decided it was appropriate to look down her nose at me and pull a childish silly face when I chose to order a glass of wine. I am unsure the reasons for her immature behaviour but it is not ok to treat a customer this way. She needs re training at the very least so she knows how to treat customers with respect

Arrived this evening, without booking. Super busy due to Christmas markets on and a weekend, but we only had to wait 10 mins for a table. Carl seated us and we shared one of the big tables with another couple which he initially offered us to seat us sooner, kind of like a social table vibe and he gave us a free desert to share for that. Really great atmosphere, food was delicious and the staff were brilliant. Will absolutely be back, thankyou so much! Also, Carl is a credit to the restaurant, really excellent server! Thankyou!

Very disappointed! Following a lovely afternoon out we thought this would finish the day nicely. We visited later into the evening approx 20.30, so it wasn’t overly busy. This isn’t the one we usually go to but it seemed like a good option. Our order was taken and the food started arriving as it usually does once it’s prepared, all apart from one meal. We were able to observe the kitchen area due to where we were sat and all we could see was the kitchen staff busy cleaning. The waitress eventually came over to enquire about what had been ordered as we visited the app to pay the bill. We clearly stated that time was now getting on and so we’d be happy if the meal could be taken off the bill and we could settle and go. Apparently the meal was almost ready and we were offered to take this away. This slightly defeated the original plan. We had made it clear that we did not want the meal now! The meal was after yet another further wait brought to the table and we were then asked if we would like the price taken off the bill! Out of disgust we settled the full amount but we definitely will not be going back. We have read the other reviews now as we send this. It’s a shame we didn’t check them beforehand as this would have been completely avoided!!

We ordered 2 takeaway meals this evening (5/10). Mine was Tepannyaki with tofu. On arrival at home, realised tofu was absent. Called & was asked to send pics. No response to pics so called again & 'deputy manager' said she'd discuss it with the general manager the next day. I had to raise my voice to make her understand I'd paid for a meal to eat NOW, not after discussion the following day!! My husband had to drive all into town to get my 'replacement meal' only to find it is not a replacementTeppanyaki but a tasteless rice mess with 6 noodles! We have had probs before with this restaurant, in terms of their lack of attention with orders. In Wagamama in London, Wigmore St, I was served a worm in my marinaded prawn starter. The waitress informed us it was "prawn skin" We felt obliged to inform her that prawns don't have skin. Vouchers were provided as compensation, but we couldn't eat there again after that.

Food was so good here! And they have a fairly good variety of choices. We had some of the fresh juices to start, all of which were yummy! Our friend had Tantanmen Ramen and really enjoyed it. The curry was what I ordered . That was amazing! We tried several different desserts and each was unique and brought their own deliciousness to the table! Food was served pretty quick after ordering.

Awful! What a disappointment tonight. Usually think Wagamama is reliable and consistent. Not tonight. I had a meal that was really inedible. I raised with the new manager that the beef was tough but I was hungry so I would try and make it work. I asked for a knife it was so tough. I returned after eating 2.5 pieces of beef and was told I would be charged!! The long and short of it was I would not eat there again. My partner was too polite to say her salmon was overcooked, so clearly chef’s at the moment are not very experienced. Some bizarre Wagamama policy meant I could not get a replacement meal and they tried to charge me in part for something I hadn’t had! The trainee manager was lovely, but the whole experience was not good and would not go back. Just wondering if the reason it was so quiet tonight was because it’s actually not very good anymore. Such a shame.

I had a great experience at Wagamama, cool and casual restaurant in Winchester city centre. They have a great vegan range, the food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. But what really made the evening so special was the excellent service given by Georgie and Tom, our friendly and attentive servers. Upon hearing I was there to tell my friends I'd got engaged the night before, after dinner they surprised us with a personalised complimentary dessert! It was so special and unexpected. Several other staff members also came over to congratulate me throughout the evening. It was such a lovely gesture, and it made the night unforgettable. Thank you Wagamama Winchester Team!

Wagamama's food is always good and that's why we put up with the ridiculous way it is being served. Everyone receives their food randomly, at different times, starters sometimes last, basically whenever suits the kitchen staff and not the customer. What is not acceptable is getting your drinks 1/2 hour after your food, some even longer after that, and one of us never got his green tea. My daughter's food was forgotten and the waitress (who had way too much to do as she served tables and prepared too many take aways as well) was very apologetic, even though it was not her fault. The price of my daughter's food was taken off the bill.

The food was to a good standard but the service wasnt great. Had the beef brisket ramen and it was perfect with just the right levels of spice. However, I went on a Sunday lunchtime and we got our own drinks from the bar as we were waiting so long. We also only saw our server once.

There is wheelchair access! It's not signposted and there's no doorbell but call them and they have a ramp - they arrived within a minute (!!) And we're super helpful. There's a table near the bar you can wheel right under, no posts etc in the way, and plenty of room behind you so noone is bumping past. Disabled toilet with a sliding door and a TON of room to manoeuvre, red cord in the right place and not tied up(!). Staff were clearly well trained, food was great. Missing one star here only because they need to put a sign and doorbell up explaining there is a ramp.

Very nice place to eat. Service impecable, food very tasty, price reasonable. The place is modern, everything looks new, and downstairs looks very good aswell with some tables having natural light. Would comeback anytime I'm in winchester.

We had such a lovely time here. Karl is without a doubt one of the kindest waiters we’ve ever met. Very energetic and willing to advise us with anything. The food was great, perfect quantities and we didn’t wait that much. So we encourage you to give it a try. We didn’t take pictures of all the dishes though.

Big fan of Wagamama, especially this one in Winchester, the service is always at a high level, food consistently good and I enjoy the “scan to pay” barcode.

Wagamama is open and running a Click and Collect service with online orderingand payment. Very easy to use. Same great taste for those that cannot wait for full reopening. Best fresh so eat as soon as you can.

Booked a pre Christmas get together with friends December 3rd 2024 and we were very pleased with the lovely warm welcome and outstanding meal. It truly was great value for the money and very filling. A very social atmosphere in the pub, more like pubs used to be in past times. The service was exemplary and a thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by us all. Thank you Harvest Home staff.

Had a great evening with friends. A very good menu and the food was excellent. There was a live band (Queen bee and the trappers)which everybody enjoyed and some danced to. A really good pub.

I just can’t see how their prices are sustainable. Charging over £4 for a flat white with oat milk is outrageous, so I won’t be returning.
