Costa Coffee in Winchester

Went in this morning for toast and coffee. The toast was bearly warm let alone toasted, one side was still totally uncooked. We asked for marmite with IT, and was given marmalade, when I said we wanted marmite I was told we don't have any! We only got 1 small pack of butter per slice which hardly covered half of it. The coffee was the worst coffee we have ever had in any costa we have visited. It all looked really unclean and dirty. The staff member who served us was rude, I think she thought she we doing us a favour. RUBBISH BREAKFAST AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, IN A DIRTY ENVIRONMENT.

Not most customer friendly. Coffe temperature & taste needs some improvement.

Kind, friendly, super professional when serving us in the early hours of Tuesday... with the name Tara, we can say that she left us impressed with so much charisma and attention to our simple meal. We are very grateful for the service provided by "Tara"...a great COSTA employee!

i came in to grab a cappuccino and i was served by Tara a lady who’s got amazing costumer service, she was really kind and helpful at all times making sure we were happy as costumers

Very busy need to clear tables quickly

Lovely coffee. My 88 year old Dad accidentally split a whole cup of coffee. They were so kind and immediately got him a replacement coffee. Thank you

Angry staff. Tables and chairs haven't been cleaned since 1973; crumbs, etc., everywhere. Get me out of here.

Understaffed, Tired and overworked staff, long queues, rubbish coffee (anyone trained staff how to make coffee?)... Big mistake to buy anything. Better but ready made coffee at mini market next door.

The staff member did amazing especially considering she was on her own Taking orders, fulfilling orders and cleaning up behind the counter It was busy but that’s expected as it’s a motorway services

Stopped by at 23.05 on a Friday night and although the coffee shop looked open, the person who should be serving was standing outside the area chatting to someone and said it's closed. The place was empty. It states that Costa is open 24 hours but obviously this is not the case.

Totally useless!! Can NOT make any frozen drinks! We ordered 3 iced drinks and all 3 were wrong, took them back and again all 3 were wrong! Mine literally tasted of water and was so runny, my sons was fluorescent green and pure syrup and my daughters they blended the mango bubbles into the drink and it was so runny! We all drink these at least once a week as a treat we know how they should be! When you have a coffee that tastes of pure water there's something seriously wrong! Ended up changing to a latte just so I could get a coffee! Won't ever be back after that ordeal! Not even a sorry from any of the staff! They need training and a manager ASAP!!

A brand new property with an open and airy feel plus good outside seating area. Enthusiastic staff too.

Ok coffee place but no milk substitute eg. soya or oat milk that wasn't sweetened.

What's not to like? Costa is a necessity on a long journey as far as I am concerned. Enjoyed a lovely latte with a Chocolate Pecan slice... Both delicious 😋😋😋 Staff could have been a bit friendlier but otherwise great.

I ordered a drink today and I specified what I wanted….then I was waiting in a queue watching the staff talking to each other, having fun and being completely uninterested with the customers and their orders. When I received my drink I noticed it was something that I didn’t order. I asked the lovely gentleman? Nathan that this is not what I ordered so I was informed in the very patronising way that I should have specified the order👀. I will never stop for a coffe in this place. I cannot recommend this Costa to anyone. Shame I can’t give them less than 1 star!

Had to teach the rude forgien lady how to cook a bacon roll! Simple open up and then toast. Just plain lazy and rude. I'll be using Greggs in future

Great service and perfect drinks. Almost as good as the king of Costa at Sutton Scotney services.

I no it's a stop off place on the motorway but Costa is suppose to be a big brand most Costas I visit I don't have issues with most of the time I don't review but this time I felt the need to, both staff members just didn't seem to care or enjoy their jobs

Same old stuff churned out. Much prefer to support independent local suppliers

Get the orders muddled up and don't listen properly. Also lots of flies on menu boards. Definitely a store that needs improvement.

I love a Costa flat white. I even like it with coconut milk

Costa is a good coffee shop but the consistency is poor.

So slow. Only stop if you have to ! Also needs a refit and some TLC! The slowest and oldest so avoid.

Stopped for a cup if coffee at 4:30 am. Barista was very friendly. Made me a realy good cup of coffe. I had a rasin bin with it. It was realy good

Flatly refused the toast but the kids are doing well in advance of the season. Loading the truck to pick them up at the end of the week before the wedding.

It's the worst place to stop in the evening....ghost town it's 4 quick refill at the pump loo and go...ie: stop further where it's a bit ok especially if you got young children's everything is closed apart from just a few bits and pieces at costa and don't mentioned whsmith it's a rippoff....a very bad business planning.....
