Wait over 20 minutes to be served! Three tables who arrived after us, and our order eventually taken, were served (one finished, paid and left BEFORE I decided, 65 minutes after arriving, to pay for o7rbdrinks and go to eat elsewhere!

Friendly, obliging staff, with good food at reasonable prices.

Loved the corn bread, but it was hands down the nicest meal we’d had at harvester in a long time. My mother, who is very fussy, ate all of her original combo, she usually leaves the chicken as it’s not normally cooked that well. Really enjoyed it.

Not the most exciting experience, the salad bar looked uninviting, the main meals were average. Really enjoyed going to Harvester, the appearance of looking under staffed, the tired salad bar along with the less inviting main meals I am not sure we would return.

Good service, even though it was busy, the staff were attentive & were on point, food was good, happy go lucky kind of fair, would go again.

Bloody hell, we come here regularly and usually had the 2/3 courses lunchtime, which has now gone!!!! We had the same items from the new mega expensive menu and it came to over double the old cost, but not only that, the portions were also smaller, so we won't be coming to you again, I'm very sad to say! Beefeater for us now, which was usually a little cheaper than the older cost anyway!!!!

Ordered for myself and my son 2 meals and 2 drinks, after 25 minutes no food and no drinks, waited a little longer my sons meal arrived and the waiter looked at me knowing there was a issue, yes where was my meal? Also we have no drinks. Drinks came still no meal after waiting another 20 minutes yeay my meal. Food was very good but service abysmal. The toilets were actually 1* and unusable due to how disgusting they were, one blocked over filled, one pee and spit on nearly every surface and the last one barely usable. I won't be returning to Whitley harvester I will be sticking with Fareham or Eastleigh in future.

Amazing staff super friendly and attentive quick service with salad bowls and food Halloumi fries were burnt on the outside when fried but rest of food was good and very fresh bar this!

Waited a long time for food wasn't great either. When dessert arrived it looked like someone had been sick on my plate the ice-cream was in a metal container and had melted all down the container and over the plate and after being microwaved the apple had just spilt over the plate. I did complain and the member of staff was very nice. He agreed it looked bad and when he returned the ice cream was fine but the plate was a mess he apologised and said sorry but they can't help the apple coming out on to the plate!! Maybe a need to source a different apple pie!!

The only thing was, we had a party of 17. We did think we would be on one big table, but we weren't. That was the only letdown.

We were served by Laura today who was brilliant, provided quick service, got the kids colouring without asking. Good food - only dissopointing thing is the removal of BBQ sauce because of nut allergies which I get, but heinz nowhere near as good as harvester one.

Great service from Laura, was very attentive and friendly to our 2 year old. Food was good portion sizes and great unlimited tea.

Arrived for 6pm reservation, service was very poor and slow from start to finish. Had to chase up waitress to order pudding finally 4 puddings turned up but still missing 2 we had nearly finished so had to chase up the missing 2. Finally managed to pay and leave at 8.55pm nearly 3 hours for a main and pudding don't think we will be returning.

We chose Harvester above all of the choices at Whitley for an evening meal hoping our experiences from our local Harvester were just a one off. The salad was top drawer exactly as we remember but the main meal was woefull. The burger and chicken were absolutely tasteless, the bacon was full of fat and the fries were cold and tastless. That was the last time we will ever visit a Harvester again.

It's great if you've got kids and want to go out for a meal. But not somewhere I would choose if I didn't have the children with us. The menu is boring! 90% of the burger choices have cheese & bbq sauce, which doesn't give any variety. Sometimes, more often than not, the chicken is overcooked and dry. They need a new menu.

Food very average. Service very slow and not great generally. Salad bowls came out boiling hot. Pointless. Ran out of a certain steak for a combo (at 6pm) but wouldn't substitute for an alternative. Value for money poor for what we got. Won't be going back to whitely.

Service was good. Unfortunately our food was not hot.Salad bar was bare, and small choice of items, salad dressing area was dirty.

Pub grub + plenty of salad makes for a good meal. Especially as many of the meals don't process the food too heavily. Laura was a great waiter - suggested a good alternative when a dessert wasn't available.

Well what is the point of a booking a table when you don't honour the booking. ... avoid at all costs so many eateries around and most if you book they give you the table you booked .. seems a sinple request of a restaurant but u fortunatley not here ......

Extremely noisy kids scheeching the whole time. Food good but the service was very long drawn out and the waitress kept disappearing leaving us waiting for table to be cleared on every course.

The service was exceptionally slow. It took over 2.5 hours from start to finish for 2 courses The waiter on both occasions individuals ordered hot drinks promptly forgot to bring them during the course of the meal and therefore we had to ask for them to be removed from the bill The food was in the main ok, but won’t be returning given the pace of service

After arriving in whitely at about 1915 to celebrate with a friend for Thier GCSE results it turned out to be a busy day with a wait of 45 minutes for a table for 5.After being sat for 10 minutes waiting for our order to be taken we finally ordered our food and drink all at once only to be told there was no ribeye and no sirloin steak🙁we the waited a further 5 minutes for our salad bowls then another 5 minutes for our drinks to finally arrive. The main course took a further 20 minutes only to receive under cooked steak and missing bits from the order mostly the food was ok ok but ultimately an underwhelming experience compared to previous visits.

Main course which was our first course took 50 mins to arrive and the haddock was cold and I got chips instead of the upgrade to sweet potato fries and it took 15 mins for a jug of water to arrive. I also saw many meals sat under the warm lamps for upto 10 mins before being taken to a table

When it arrived my 2 year old grandson burnt his mouth as it was too hot to eat by a little one. Food for the adults was great but I wouldn't come again with him as I had to feed him at home
