Fabulous, The host Jack was so friendly and chatty and had some hilarious stories, made us feel so comfortable. Victoria was our waitress who was also hilarious, friendly and welcomed us as friends. Really great place always so helpful and genuine nice people. Food is always hot and served fresh.

We went for a girls lunch and our server was Jack. He was very friendly and super helpful. The food was delicious as always.

My family and I went here last night and had a lovely experience, food was great and the service was even better. Victoria went above and beyond to interact with everyone she was serving and made extra effort with the children on the table. 5* service.

Young waitress gets the 2 stars Food was luke warm , my brothers poached eggs were solid. I am lucky and don't mind warm food but my brother left his. The young waitress offered a reduction in price but we refused as we didn't want her to lose any pay. We won't be going back which is a shame as used to use it a lot

Our waitress Laura was very friendly and attentive, food was delicious.

The food was OK, not brilliant but what you would expect for a Harvester and the salad bar was nice with very fresh ingredients. We took the grandkids so there were 6 of us. The thing that made it a good experience was the server, Danielle, who was very personable and friendly despite us not being the easiest group to have on a Saturday night.

Visited your branch in whiteley today at 1pm and a manager/ server going by the name D was phenomenal he went above and beyond for my friend and I and was super friendly with the kids !! Thank you for making our lunch out today brilliant

My daughter took me to harvester Whiteley. I always know that menus in most restaurants are limited when you are gluten free. But today really took the biscuit. I went through the tablet and looked what I could have only to be told the gluten free fryer was broken. Strange I had a breakfast the other day in port solent only to be told the gluten free fryer was broken. Is this true or can you not be bothered. So no chips for me. But you were still saying they were gluten free. This made me wary of what to have. So I went for a jacket potato. My daughter decided to have a steak medium rare. This cam out over cooked and very tough. Sophie our waitress couldn't do enough for us. She took it back and they cooked another, by this time I had finished my jacket potato, my daughter still waiting for her meal. If turned up and Sophie said to check it as she thought it was over cooked again. It was !!!!! By this time we were done. Sophie could not apologise enough. She was the best part of our visit to Whiteley Harvester. We give her a tip which she said that the kitchen would get 10% , we were disgusted as they had given us terrible service. Needless to we will not be going back to harvester again. I would like to end on a positive note, Sophie is a credit to the waiting staff. She couldn't do enough for us.

We took the Grandkids for a meal on Tuesday 8th April. The restaurant was very quiet, which should have been busy during the Easter holiday. The food was ok, but my Wife had halloumi which was very greasy and she couldn’t eat it all. My biggest concern was the lack of customer service from staff. They were focused on having a meeting during our visit and never once asked us if everything was okay. I had to go and ask for the bill as no one came to our table. I would NOT recommend visiting this restaurant .

As soon as we walked in we were treated lovely Sophie our waitress was just superb nothing was to much trouble for her & she did it with a smile which is very rare these days our meal was delicious cooked to perfection piping hot absolutely spot on I luv a harvester because u know what your getting but unfortunately they are not all as good as the whiteley one top job all round thanks Sophie for making our lunch so special we will be back

It was our first time in Harvester, Laura made our experience absolutely amazing. She was super supportive and attentive to what we needed. All her recommendations made the experience worthwhile. We had the Holy Trinity and every bite was worth it. We will definitely be coming again. Thanks Laura

Ventured to the Harvester in Whitley as our dog was at the groomers locally so thought I’d take my mother for breakfast. The woman who sat us down was lovely, very attentive and welcoming sat us down and told us our server would be with us shortly. Our waitress arrived “Sophie” and didn’t we know it her whole body language from the get go way awful, stood sideways, arms crossed holding into her tablet. She proceeded to ask if we have any allergies which my mother is allergic to eggs so Sophie stated she needed to go talk to someone to let them know and she left. She came back and was like “now the kitchen know, what would you actually like?” Now from my experience working in hospitality a “what can I get you?” Would’ve been a more customer friendly approach. My mother asked for the classic breakfast to swap her eggs as she can’t have them to either bacon, sausage or hash brown extra. Which we have done recently in the harvester by us. Now I understand this is a harvester rule but it should be followed in all restaurants and not different in other as we won’t encounter this issue again… or bring back the unlimited breakfast as you can’t expect someone to physically not be able to eat something I.e eggs and not be able to replace it for something else and still pay the same price it’s not right or acceptable. Sophie’s attitude was disgustingly rude.. she was like “no can’t do that” my mum said “well our harvester does” and Sophie continued “no all harvesters can’t” she wasn’t getting the customer perspective of it’s happened in other harvesters so why can’t Whitley harvester, there was no reasoning whatsoever, no customer understanding she was so rude and abrupt. My mother then asked to speak to the manager, she left I told my mother I wasn’t eating in there based on her attitude. Sophie walked over the manager which we could see and hear majority of the conversation. Sophie said to the manager “the woman over there is allergic to eggs she’s asked to swap I told her she can’t… she wants to speak to a manger she’s sat over there” her hands were flapping and head was shaking her attitude was awful at least do it in private not right in front of us, disgraceful behaviour. The manager proceeded to come over he was rather lovely and tried to explain… but understanding is hard when other harvesters do swap things out… however his staff member Sophie was just awful and her work ethic was unacceptable and behaviour and attitude towards customers was appalling. Ended up walking out because Sophie was disgustingly rude, unwelcoming and full of attitude. Will not be returning. After this we went to harvester in Fareham where the woman was rather friendly and allowed to swap the eggs for extra mushroom and even allowed me to swap my beans for mushroom, excellent service and friendly staff

The breakfast is the main attraction as it is normally fresh cooked and served when ready. Plenty of other choices but the breakfast is consistently good. Ample parking just in sight of the large windows.

Disappointing Service and Overcharging Visited Harvester recently and had a disappointing experience. I ordered sweet potato fries, was told there’d be an extra charge, and agreed. My meal arrived—no sweet potato fries. Instead, they’d swapped them for loaded fries without asking. I don’t like them, so I didn’t eat them. No one checked on us during the meal, so I couldn’t flag the issue earlier. When I mentioned at the end that I hadn’t received my sweet potato fries, the response was just “Oh.” Then the bill came, and sure enough, I’d been charged for them. The waitress admitted they didn’t have any and had substituted them, but still insisted on leaving the charge. I had to ask for it to be removed out of principle. Overall, poor communication and a lack of basic customer service. Won’t be rushing back.

Laura was fantastic, very efficient and friendly. TJ & Lee the chefs cooked a wonderful breakfast for us both.

Laura’s guest experience was excellent. TJ & Lee in the kitchen never fail to deliver from the kitchen. We will be returning!
