Very good, especially for mothers day, the only down was we were in direct line of the air con, but everything else was great

As soon as we walked in we were treated lovely Sophie our waitress was just superb nothing was to much trouble for her & she did it with a smile which is very rare these days our meal was delicious cooked to perfection piping hot absolutely spot on I luv a harvester because u know what your getting but unfortunately they are not all as good as the whiteley one top job all round thanks Sophie for making our lunch so special we will be back

It was our first time in Harvester, Laura made our experience absolutely amazing. She was super supportive and attentive to what we needed. All her recommendations made the experience worthwhile. We had the Holy Trinity and every bite was worth it. We will definitely be coming again. Thanks Laura

We had breakfast this morning with out 18 month old and were served by Laura, she was lovely, helpful and even engaged with our son. Food was good!

Ventured to the Harvester in Whitley as our dog was at the groomers locally so thought I’d take my mother for breakfast. The woman who sat us down was lovely, very attentive and welcoming sat us down and told us our server would be with us shortly. Our waitress arrived “Sophie” and didn’t we know it her whole body language from the get go way awful, stood sideways, arms crossed holding into her tablet. She proceeded to ask if we have any allergies which my mother is allergic to eggs so Sophie stated she needed to go talk to someone to let them know and she left. She came back and was like “now the kitchen know, what would you actually like?” Now from my experience working in hospitality a “what can I get you?” Would’ve been a more customer friendly approach. My mother asked for the classic breakfast to swap her eggs as she can’t have them to either bacon, sausage or hash brown extra. Which we have done recently in the harvester by us. Now I understand this is a harvester rule but it should be followed in all restaurants and not different in other as we won’t encounter this issue again… or bring back the unlimited breakfast as you can’t expect someone to physically not be able to eat something I.e eggs and not be able to replace it for something else and still pay the same price it’s not right or acceptable. Sophie’s attitude was disgustingly rude.. she was like “no can’t do that” my mum said “well our harvester does” and Sophie continued “no all harvesters can’t” she wasn’t getting the customer perspective of it’s happened in other harvesters so why can’t Whitley harvester, there was no reasoning whatsoever, no customer understanding she was so rude and abrupt. My mother then asked to speak to the manager, she left I told my mother I wasn’t eating in there based on her attitude. Sophie walked over the manager which we could see and hear majority of the conversation. Sophie said to the manager “the woman over there is allergic to eggs she’s asked to swap I told her she can’t… she wants to speak to a manger she’s sat over there” her hands were flapping and head was shaking her attitude was awful at least do it in private not right in front of us, disgraceful behaviour. The manager proceeded to come over he was rather lovely and tried to explain… but understanding is hard when other harvesters do swap things out… however his staff member Sophie was just awful and her work ethic was unacceptable and behaviour and attitude towards customers was appalling. Ended up walking out because Sophie was disgustingly rude, unwelcoming and full of attitude. Will not be returning. After this we went to harvester in Fareham where the woman was rather friendly and allowed to swap the eggs for extra mushroom and even allowed me to swap my beans for mushroom, excellent service and friendly staff

Popped in for dinner. Table for one on my way home. Was served by Laura who was lovely the whole time even though it was starting to get busy. She even recommended a few things on the menu!

Laura's customer service was exceptional throughout. We always felt well looked after and she made sure our food was OK and was really warm and caring after too. The food cooked by Meg and Tj was delicious! My steak cooked exactly how I wanted it and the haloumi was lovely 😍 thank you guys we will be back again!

The breakfast is the main attraction as it is normally fresh cooked and served when ready. Plenty of other choices but the breakfast is consistently good. Ample parking just in sight of the large windows.

Disappointing Service and Overcharging Visited Harvester recently and had a disappointing experience. I ordered sweet potato fries, was told there’d be an extra charge, and agreed. My meal arrived—no sweet potato fries. Instead, they’d swapped them for loaded fries without asking. I don’t like them, so I didn’t eat them. No one checked on us during the meal, so I couldn’t flag the issue earlier. When I mentioned at the end that I hadn’t received my sweet potato fries, the response was just “Oh.” Then the bill came, and sure enough, I’d been charged for them. The waitress admitted they didn’t have any and had substituted them, but still insisted on leaving the charge. I had to ask for it to be removed out of principle. Overall, poor communication and a lack of basic customer service. Won’t be rushing back.

Laura’s guest experience was excellent. TJ & Lee in the kitchen never fail to deliver from the kitchen. We will be returning!

Laura was an absolute star. She was very patient with us and made us feel very welcome. Food was cooked wonderfully so big shout out to Meg and Lee in the kitchen!

We were disappointed that there was no rotisserie chicken. We eventually decided on alternative and when leaving did see others after us with chicken. The salad bar was not topped up or tidy. Although busy it was messy on floors too. Memver of staff that served was have apologetic and polite.

Disappointing with the food , greasy fish , not very nice chips cold peas , coffee was just warm and tasteless, was told there's the way it comes out of the machine, containers almost empty at salad bar , we were aware that it was busy but we were paying the same as everyone else so should have been replenished. Kids food was OK but very small portions , not very good value for money.

This is our regular harvester, but today was disappointing, waitress didn't seem very happy. Staff walking around on their phones, others with earpods in, took a long time to get served.

Both my son and I had the ribs. Unfortunately neither had any taste despite having different sauces, hot honey and bbq. The starter I had garlic cheese bread and it felt mass prepared and cheap. I wouldn’t rush back tbh.

Had lunch here with a booked table. The food was great, and the service started off well. However, as soon as we finished our meal and put down our cutlery, a waitress immediately came over to clear all the plates and handed us the bill straight away. It felt like we were being rushed out, even though there was no queue at the entrance. I also noticed other guests experiencing the same situation, having to leave right after paying, while some customers were able to sit and chat for a long time without being asked to pay immediately. This was quite different from my previous experiences at other Harvester. Would appreciate a more consistent and relaxed dining experience in the future.

We visited for my daughters 18th birthday and the service we received was fantastic even though they were fully booked they made sure everyone felt welcome and served within a good time

I like it here.nice food and staff and good value.the only critism I gave is they do a breakfast cluster bowl with fruit and yoghurt.everytime I try and order this,there is something they havnt got so I cant have it or not exactly as described.fruit missing and today there is no yoghurt.dont know how thus can happen and they maybe need to look at their ordering process

Had Laura as a server she was upbeat, kind and made sure our visit was upto a high standard couldn’t recommend her enough.

I was welcomed by the lovely Sarah who was happy to seat us in a quiet corner due to my tourette's.. I explained, in the end, that I was also special needs and needed to be sat with my back to a wall due to PTSD. Sarah was happy to assist with all of this and was also kind enough to let me beat her at Rock Paper Scissors. The food was lovely and the ice cream on top of the dessert looked like a Swan and that gave good old autistic me, a food boner! I'd come again, and if Sarah ever ends up single can someone please let me know or give her my snapchat?
