Birthday lunch with family - lovely vegan pancakes with lots of fruit & coconut yogurt & hazelnut latte - good portion - good service - a bit cold but busy. Would visit again & definitely recommend.

As a self-proclaimed vegan breakfast food enthusiast, I’ve searched far and wide for the perfect tofu scramble and need look no further! The breakfast bap was unreal. Reasonably priced, good coffee, lovely atmosphere, cinnamon buns?! I’ll be back.

Lovely spot to have lunch or to grab a coffee! Great atmosphere, food was fantastic, loads of flavour and plenty of options to choose from. They cater for gluten free too. Service was decent for a cafe.

Great place...well run. Very filling. Good portion of hash brown bites with guacamole...enough for 2 to share and enjoyed by sometimes fussy son. Milkshakes good and the cinnamon/ coffee walnut buns were sweet and satisfying!

Food is overpriced. Service could be improved as find the staff to be unfriendly and unwelcoming

I love coming here with friends for a meal! I’m dairy intolerant so it’s nice to eat food without the worry. I do miss the Spanish Scramble! Regardless, I like the pancakes also along with the kombucha or a latte!

Purposefully drove here from Baldock and so glad I did. Ordered a takeaway Mozzarella and Tomato sandwich. Best ever.

Had tomato and basil soup £7, very tasty, didnt want the focaccia which came with it, as bought focaccia toasty with mozzarella tomato and pesto! Shame a discount wasnt offered off of the soup as I didnt have the focaccia, this would have been a nice gesture as I paid £5 for the toasty! This is why I gave it 4* instead of 5*

Have been here several time but the menu today wasn't great and the food I chose wasn't good. Only ate a small amount. Very dissapointed.

They make the best peanut butter smoothies and quesadilla. I also recommend trying their BLTs. The staff are always so welcoming. Highly recommend.

My favourite place to eat in Letchworth. Nice vibe and nice people who work there. Food is very good. The owner is a decent chap who cares about the place.

Enjoyed a late breakfast here, I had the berry pancakes, huge plate of them and gorgeous 😋🤗 Will definitely visit again. The only slight improvement would be quicker service however it was busy on the day.

Superb food, super friendly and great location. Letchworth has loads of choices to sit outside for coffee/cake/food but this is one of the best.

I could leave some less than complimentary reviews about other places in town but I'd rather just leave this short note of appreciation. If you like good coffee, not just variations of on the theme of "milk with a shot" (though they do that as well I believe) this is the place for you. Knowledgeable, experienced and well trained staff who actually drink and enjoy coffee. Save yourself the frustrating walk around town and head straight here.

Have been 2 times now and will definitely be regulars. Food is amazing and the place is so friendly. My kids absolutely loved the pancakes. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Came here for the first time last weekend with a friend. Although it was a little on the expensive side, I'd definitely come back! I had the best pancakes I'd ever tried before! My friend enjoyed a full vegan breakfast. We both left very impressed and full. Portion sizes were generous. Love that this place is dog friendly and the staff are lovely. My smoothie was also delicious! The café has loads of plants and a comfortable vibe to it. Looking forward to coming back soon.

This was my first time coming here, and this is easily the tastiest food I’ve had. The whole place and staff are excellent. I would definitely recommend trying this venue and I will definitely be back.

Asked for cutlery for my food, the thin white young male with black hair says okay no problem and then goes off and starts clearing plates off other tables and serving other customers. Then a female member of staff says "sorry we're just busy"... too busy to spend 20 seconds getting cutlery so we can eat and actually just disregard requests and do other things? Pretty poor Also a small cramped space.

Best food venue in the area; delicious food with regularly changed adventurous menu, great value, lovely decor, and impressive customer service. You wouldn't know it's vegan unless told! I take a lot of visitors to the area here and they all love it. Can't recommend highly enough!

Absolutely amazing food, some of the best I've had for ages, including at much more expensive places. It's a really cute café too with really friendly staff, who were more than happy to adjust the menu to suit my fussy daughters tastes. Can't wait to go back.

Love Vutie Beets, me and my partner visit here all the time and are never disappointed. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is always delicious and varied. the amount they do for their community is also impressive with talks and workshops etc. I'm glad they are a great part of Letchworth.

Took my Wife and daughter( all vegan) to this lovely place to try out their food, and wasn’t disappointed at all, food on the menu all looked very inviting but just had the Spanish Scramble and loved it. Portion sizes just right unless you are very hungry..but overall a very pleasant experience. Will def go back for more. Keep up the excellent work guys..👏🏼

Nice peaceful place with lovely vegan food. Good selection of drinks too. Some usb chargers should you need to top up on the go. Outside seating if it's warm. We shared two meals the breakfast and pancakes. Presentation was good looked appetising, it tasted as good as it looked. 😋 Would happily swap my home meat sausage for the sausage pattie served here. The other items were great too. Pancakes were as good as you can get, looking forward to moving to a more plant based diet. Certainly will be returning soon.

This place is a gem in the heart of Letchworth. The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. I can continue talking about how great they are but this mean you'll wait longer before arrive there.

Okay where do I start? If I were marking out of 10 I'd give it 11. We went there for lunch on Friday. We visit Letchworth every other Friday for a group meeting and we'll often go into town for something to eat afterwards. As they were kind enough to allow me to use their facilities back in early September although they were closed, I felt I wanted to repay their kindness and try them out. Wow wow wow. We're not vegetarians specifically but I do enjoy vegetarian food when prepared well. This was simply stunning. Firstly, all the staff are quite young (or maybe Im just quite old). All helpful and friendly with a smile, we were made to feel welcome. My wife ordered Mixed berry pancakes and I ordered black beluga dahl. The presentation was exquisite as were the flavours. A spacious yet cosy atmosphere with pleasant background music and fantastic food combined to make a relatively inexpensive and highly enjoyable lunch stop. I had to compliment the chefs on leaving. We will be visiting again without doubt!!

We found Vutie Beets using Happy Cow and popped to Letchworth Garden City specifically to experience Vegan food and we weren't disappointed! The Cooked Breakfast was great - a plate of variety including their own take on breakfast classics. The tofu bacon was smokey and salty - an explosion of flavour compared to bland supermarket alternatives. We enjoyed the Pea & Pesto Strozzapreti and loved the Mixed Berry Pancakes. We stayed for coffee to enjoy the Vegan cakes including the Jaffa Cake, the Chocolate & Raspberry Cake, and the Blueberry Croissant. Well worth a visit!

Fantastic independent cafe serving the most delicious vegan food. Although I'm vegan, a lot of my friends aren't, but they too absolutely love the food here. Staff are also so friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend it enough to vegans, veggies or meat eaters. You'll love it.

Tried the breakfast bap and it was a hit I've tried tofu scramble before and didn't like it AT ALL, but in this bap it was A1 I stuffed it before I could even take a pic!

Absolutely scrumptious lunch on a grey old day. The staff are very friendly, service quick, and most importantly the food was tasty 😜

Update -------- They have updated their menu and included a meal I am definitely looking forward to trying again! The black bean quesadilla is delicious and I very much recommend it! (Oh, and if they have any in stock? Their rocky road is one of the best I have had!) ------- This place has inspired a biscoff milkshake addiction. Highly recommend it! The staff are always friendly and there is always a good atmosphere here. The takeaway containers don't use plastic and I've always been welcome to use my own coffee cup, which I really appreciate. Been working my way through the menu and everything has been nice, but unfortunately there have been no meals (so far) that I've wanted to try twice. However that hasn't (and won't) stop me from returning to try the rest!

Yum yum yum! I went today for lunch and had the quesadilla with mushrooms and it was delicious. Just what I wanted. My partner had the Caesar salad and that was also very good. I really enjoyed being able to choose anything from the fully vegan menu and would definitely recommend a visit to others. Looking forward to popping in next time I’m in Letchworth.

Delicious brunch outside under the trees on a summer’s morning. Croissant filled with maple peanut butter; ice cream and strawberries on the side. Polite service and smiling staff. Really lovely relaxing place to be. Thank you x

It was my first meal at Vutie Beets but it won't be my last! Great food (I had the caesar salad with mushrooms, was delicious and filling) and the service was friendly. Was lovely to sit and eat lunch in the sun!

Great meal there post-lockdown. I think if they increased their prices any more it would be too dear as already quite pricey.

Absolutely heavenly time at Vutie Beets - epic food, great staff and lovely little sunny courtyard setting with other interesting shops around. The OH wolfed down the breakfast bap and raved about it, but the Spanish Scramble was the star of the show. That tofu was not an alternative to using real eggs, but for me rather a serious improvement. The chorizo and bacon had fantastic flavour and texture, we also bagged some sausage rolls before we left... We were passing through Letchworth for the first time and wanted a quick vegan bite, we will definitely be deliberately coming back to try more of the menu!

Had the breakfast bap, spicy & lovely, on what is similar to a Scottish morning roll, OH had the black bean quesadia said it was amazing, great food & service as ever.

Plenty of undercover seating in a pedestrian walkway. Friendly staff that invested time to chat. Cycle parking adjacent. Owners support a running and cycling group. The food? Well that speaks for itself. Delicious!!

After having an amazing experience with this place before and some delicious brownies I thought I’d give their breakfast a go. Once again I was blown away! Their pancakes were incredible, nice big portion with fresh, healthy, great tasting ingredients and their peanut butter cup smoothie was also incredible! I would definitely go back and recommend Vutie Beets to anyone whether you’re vegan or not, great food is great food and the food here is definitely great! Thank you for another delightful experience and I look forward to ordering from you again!

We have just had a takeaway lunch from Vutie Beets and have to say that was one of the tastiest meals I've eaten in some time. None of us are vegan but we all loved the food. My son had the Jerk Bowl and was very surprised just how much he enjoyed it, he's still going on about it now. I had the black bean nachos and the range of flavours and textures was outstanding. Just the right amount of chilli. My partner had the quesadillas and she was equally happy with her food. The portions are fairly big so I'll not need much later.

Literally just ordered this is absolutely beautiful taste amazing. Called you before and the gent was so polite helped me know what I was safe to eat as I'm soya intolerant

This is a great little place for breakfast/lunch - doing takeaway now. Even if you're not vegan (and I'm not) the food is tasty and interesting. The coffee, from a local roasting house, is superb and the staff are really friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed.

Some of the food here is really nice (other meals i've had are hit and miss) - been here a few times as my daughter lives nearby and likes it, but the decor is really 1990's and not a relaxed or 'trendy' atmosphere. The somewhat militant posters on the walls are a bit off putting too.
