Terrific little brewery, that's achieved great things since it opened a few years back. Always a good selection of ales brewed on the premises, plus some interesting guest ales and a range of ciders. Indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, quiet location in the town centre. Recommended.

Lovely microbrewery with a good selection of beers pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. Food it off of words relatively basic with what I thought we're really overpriced and overrated hot dogs.

My most favourite place for a quality beer, the best atmosphere and such friendly staff, every single one of them. In the nicest way and no thrills place that you unexpectedly have just the most chilled time with an amazing customer base of lovely people all just wanting a nice relaxed time. The beer is top quality and always a great selection of own brewery ales along with a fine selection of guest beers as well. 10/10 GCB 👍

Astonishly good beer, served in a warm, inclusive environment in a hidden sidestreet. Staff are sweet, friendly and helpful. Did I remember to say how good the beer is? Straight from the barrel, as it should be everywhere. My only criticism is that they always run out of the samosas, which, if you are lucky enough to get one/two/three... are excellent, and a perfect accompaniment to possibly the best real beer in the UK. Don't visit if you object to beer and friendliness!

Great and relaxing space! Live music on weekends, nice outdoor seating and tasty drinks. The ciders live up and exceed the expectations. We will definitely return

Really looking forward to visiting the Garden Brewery. Liked the the look of the various ales and unusual seating. Approached the bar only to be greeted with a sign stating, Card Only. No Compromise ,no card no drink. Only having cash, we beat a hasty retreat to somewhere that would take cash. Such a shame. Well done if you can afford to turn away four thirsty drinkers looking for an afternoons leisurely session.

Great beers, amazing place. Too bad it's tiny, dark and doesn't serve food. I'd love to spend more time here.

Super friendly micropub with a great selection and guest ales. There is a small playground opposite so it is popular with families during the day.

Lovely to find them open on a Sunday. Great choice and friendly staff. Stayed for a couple, could so easily have been more! Seating outside and in. Live music on some nights, friendly staff. parking close and free after 6

Staff are friendly, they have different flavoured ciders as well as other drinks.They had a Comedy gig on tonight which was fab. Shall def keep going to these Comedy gig nights x

I love having this brewery such a short walk away. The staff are so nice, let you taste anything you like from the menu before you commit to it, the place is so cute and homely, and the cider menu is varied and has something for everyone. My favourite place for a pint in LGC :)

The Best Pub in Letchworth, friendly hardworking staff, and owners!, with the addition of fantastic beer, and other refreshment. Has a continuous cycle of community events, which i seem to miss out on as only an occasional visitor from the big smoke forty/fifty miles away. Any chance of a branch opening in West London anytime soon.....please. Keep up the good work, and wishing all every success in continuing venture/adventure

As this place doesn’t open till 4.00pm on a Wednesday it was my last port of call for my lunchtime crawl of Letchworth and I came here from the towns nearby Wetherspoons. By the time I got to the Wetherspoons I was already feeling sorry for the residents of Britains first every Garden City, due to the very limited decent drinking opportunities in the town centre. And by the time I left I was virtually in despair for them. Fortunately a visit to this place gave me a bit of hope for them. Well made beers direct from the barrel and some decent guest options as well. For my visit the breweries Garden City Blonde and Bitter, Talus Pale and El Dorado IPA were on ( most at £4.20 a pint) and then Big Smoke Cosmic Dawn and Plateau Burning Sky were on as guest ales. There also seemed to be some sort of tie-up with Mad Squirrel at the moment as five of their beers were available in keg form. Then also a decent range of ciders from boxes behind the bar. This was the best venue I visited for ale choice in Letchworth and the fact that a jewellers shop conversion into a bottle shop and a microbrewery with limited opening hours are the best place for a pint tells you all you need to know about Letchworth.

Would rate higher if I could. If you appreciate a decent pint and enjoy trying something different then this is the place to go. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. More than happy to let you try what's on offer. Only downside is the place ain't big enough.

Good beer, good atmosphere and a great bunch of bar people. The Samosas and cheese board are great. A good selection of Ciders. I think the owner(s) have done a great job to bring something different to Letchworth. 100% worth a try.

Great Ales in this small brewery. Ciders, Guest Ales and Gins on offer too. Very nice sausage rolls from a local butchers available, but they can go fast. Every time I'm in Letchworth I pop in for a beer.

Excellent selection of own brewed and guest ales as usual and a lovely welcome. We especially enjoyed the Garden City Bitter. Molly Mild and Nelson (i think it was called!). Snacks are always good although unfortunately they had run out of the samosas :-( It was lovely sitting outside in the sunshine on an unseasonably warm October afternoon.

I like pubs with areas that are different and suit whoever is visiting for that purpose at that time. This pin does that, although free if any of the seating is comfortable. However, the beer is excellent and the staff helpful and very friendly.

Fantastic service from friendly staff. So good to have a cider in the sunshine and hear other voices around us. Plenty of QR codes to scan, tables were cleaned between customers and it felt safe to be there.

Nice place and I've enjoyed drinking here in the past. My problem this evening is that I was told they had no room inside- fully booked. Five minutes later a couple arrived, said they haven't booked and were offered an inside table. Not impressed with this.

No matter if it’s a quiet quick one with a friend or out all night for a big celebration, this is our favourite place to go! The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great night, their COVID precautions make you feel safe and they always have a wonderful selection of drinks available. We love it!

Always love this place with its relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and superb selection of beers. As well as their excellent own brews, this time we enjoyed Mad Squirrels De la Creme and Sumo and York City Brewerys Rubarbara Streisand. Looking forward to our next visit already!
