Cold chips with no check back, trade wasn't busy enough for all the food not to have been cooked fresh or temp checked, seemed to have been kept on hot hold for a while. Rest of the meal was hot and fresh but missing items, again no check back to rectify. Nothing wrong with the customer service, friendly enough but no soul. Very big pub so understand its a money maker more than a local, and the quantity will out way quality due to the amount of covers it can turn over, in out done, a cash cow. standard chain pub, probably more of a weatherspoon style than greeneking, but the pricing and deals can't be complained at, a few easy fixes from internal auditing potentially could elevate the experience...

i'm a coeliac and the staff were so accommodating with my allergy! didn't make me feel i was too much trouble & food was lovely, will be returning soon!

Been here 2 or 3 times now and each time the food has come out without too much of a wait and has always been good quality. Lots of space and seating inside so you don't feel cramped, and a minor climbing frame is available outside for the kids.

This has to be one of the worst Greene king pubs I've ever been to. It was very unhealthy looking inside and could do with a good refurb. The food was not very appetising and the staff were not that good either.

The Vine inn is a great place, everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

The food was absolutely beautiful, couldn’t fault it however the service from staff was appalling. We arrived at 17:45pm and wanted to go into the Wacky Warehouse which closed at 19:00, we went to go in and the doors was locked so we went round the other side and asked a member of staff who said “no it’s closed” when I said that on the door it states open till 19:00 and the last entry is 1 hour before she said there was no one in it so they closed it early… yet it wasn’t 18:00 yet so we should have been able to access this space which is advertised. The woman was completely rude and unhelpful which ruined the overall experience.

The staff are always really friendly, and the kids have a great time. Easy to park too.

Kids love whacky warehouse food is very average but ok for a quick meal

I am a childminder and visit wacky warehouse regularly with a range of different aged children. It is the perfect size for them to explore independently and the staff are very engaging and friendly with them. The children always have fun and their is also a good range of food and drink available.

A busy pub but comfortable with the usual hungry horse meals.

Went to try the breakfast menu and we were not disappointed. The food came quickly and was nice and hot. Although not butcher's quality ingredients they were very good for the price. What made the visit special was Ashley who seemed to be running front of house alone. Despite this he was pleasant and attentive and we felt he was really keen to ensure we had a good experience. We did and will be going back 😁

We had a party of 11, 7 adults and 4 children. The staff were really friendly and helpful, food was good but all the meals were a little overcooked but edible. It was great that they catered for all ages from 99 to 8 months and we all had a lovely time. Thank you.

Thanks to the amazing staff!. First review: I definitely recommend 💯. The Mix It Up Tuesday is so great! Great price. We also pop in for Sunday roast, and it's my best spot for roast so far. Staff is always friendly, with a happy smile. There are so many options to choose from: great music and atmosphere. ❤️️. We will definitely visit again!

This pub restaurant has clearly fallen off the interest list of Greene King chain. My friends, partner and I have been here before for my birthday with no complaints. This time was the last visit there. Ten chairs need upholstering, a water leak in the bar roof contravening not only health & safety laws, food hygiene laws. Staff are showing signs of being demoralised presumably by higher management. I had to remind staff we had ordered starters; and my main looked over cooked with out any salad garnish (a couple of baby tomatoes at least?) that I usually expect from a hungry Horse venue. I spoke to a work colleague who had a similar experience; he hasn’t lodged a complaint or review yet. The Vine In —> Fix it or sell it?! Dreadful experience.

We went for a birthday meal with family and had a great time. The food arrived promptly and tasted amazing. As always, we’re greeted by friendly staff. We didn’t have a long wait for food. Would highly recommend that you visit.

We booked here for our children’s birthday meal to celebrate with our family! Staff were super accommodating and booked us our own area so we could celebrate all together and our autistic child wasn’t overwhelmed by other guests! On the night we ordered all together and even though it was busy food came out in a brilliant time all together and was delicious! Staff were brilliant and super attentive on the night! As usual, decent pub food at a decent price. Doesnt pretend to be anything its not, dont expect anything it isnt. Really happy with the price, service and quality points.

So our second visit here. The first time was for the breakfast. It was so dry and burnt we were unable to eat it. The eggs were solid, toast burned, bacon hard as stone. Never again on that. However, we went today for a roast. Well again the potatoes were as hard as stones from a beach. The meat was dry as leather, the mash tasted like it had sour milk in it. I left the lot. Even when it was picked up no one commented on why all the food was left. The chefs here really need a huge training session because on both times the food was simply disgusting. I really wouldn't recommend anything from here. Avoid avoid avoid

Came for the soft play, followed by a meal. Food was excellent as well as service from Ash& the team , 10/10 would recommend.

This was the first visit in several years due to being such a terrible visit last time, we thought worth another visit as we have family staying in the hotel, what an utter disappointment. So I will give them that the staff were polite and friendly enough. We ordered food, when it came out, half of it was cold, the missed a meal and side completely, and they brought out the wrong meal to what was ordered. I personally had the worst meal, I opted for the BBQ Jack Burger, first it was the wrong burger, it came out as a Bacon cheeseburger, with only I piece of bacon, the chips portion was smaller then my daughters child’s portion of chips and a missing side dish that I ordered. After raising my issue of wrong burger, they brought out the missing ingredients rather them making it correctly that I’d expect. I’d like to point out I don’t eat raw onions, I have a stomach issue but love cooked onions, and this burger was ment to be made grilled onions according to there menu, but the pot of ingredients they brought out was just raw onions mixed with bbq sauce, not exactly what I was expecting. Overall the only thing I enjoyed from this cost was the fact they serve Thatchers haze at the bar, otherwise I do not recommend this establishment to anyone, and to be affiliated to a premier I would have thought they would have higher standards. I really wish I took photos. oh well, won’t be going back any time soon.

We went therewith my son and his family. This was a last minute decision after we walked out of another pub in Totton after seeing other customers complain so we were very lucky with the vine inn. Every thing about our visit was perfect

The food was pretty good, however, the coffee tasted quite watery and for some reason, there was no milk other than some sachets of some oat 'milk' which was also very watery!

Really nice experience and the soft play is a welcomed addition for our mealtime. The food is reasonably priced and of a good quality. Service can be slightly slow sometimes but I am aware there are 2 sides of the establishment to service. Overall, we appreciate to the cheap and cheerful place it is. A pleasant experience whenever we go.

It was Christmas dinner. 5 of us. We were warmly welcomed and accommodated. We had pre dinner drinks, and sat by the fire. Our table was readied. All courses were superb and enjoyed by everyone. Although the 'official' closing time was 4pm, the wonderful and cheerful staff allowed us to finish up. We left at about 4.30pm. A lovely day, a lovely experience, we're definitely coming again. Thank you.

We are always in wacky warehouse with our 2 year old girl. But we decided to for the first time book breakfast with Santa on Christmas Eve. The staff at this pub are always so welcoming and polite. On Christmas even the pub was decorated beautifully down to the tables with Christmas crackers. Santa was amazing there an even got my 11 year old son involved (who no longer believes). As a family and living locally we love this place. The food is great and reasonably priced considering the rising prices around us!

This is a wonderful little pub for families, the attached soft play is absolutely fit for purpose, you can also get drinks and food in there. The food is typical pub fair, prepared to an absolutely suitable standard. The kids meals were very generous, all the food was cooked as requested and arrived very quickly. The service from the staff was very friendly and warm, and the environment was inviting and cosy. The kids activity sheets had lots of games to keep them busy and crayons for colouring. There is ample parking and the locations is perfect for people stopping off the m27. We had a lovely meal, we will be back.

We come over today and the food was dry and cold the gravy was too thick to actually put on our dinner and everything was dried out like it's been on the hot plate for a week , any other time we've been over and the food's been great but not so much today

Wacky warehouse is fantastic when Zara is on shift. She knows all the children’s names and interacts with them making the atmosphere a nice place and makes wacky very welcoming. She understands the children’s different needs and always has time for a chat and to make sure everyone and everything is ok.

Met friends for lunch , met with friendly staff nothing too much trouble meals were excellent I had the Xmas Dinner friends had mixed grill , curry , sizzler, all came out piping hot and served very quickly, finished off with the Trifle delicious 👍 Excellent value for money would thoroughly recommend .

Food was fine and overall price cannot be faulted. However men’s toilets were revolting. Both pans were covered in dried on poo. According to the cleaning chart they had not been cleaned since Saturday lunchtime (our visit was Sunday lunchtime). A real let down to an otherwise reasonable establishment.

I've not been here for a while and it's not changed. It's a large space and doesn't feel cosy and was very empty. We couldn't fault the service but the food quality isn't great but you get what you pay for. Great budget family venue but if you want something a little more intimate for 2 this isn't the place.

Three of us went for lunch here on a Sunday and we ordered 2 roasts and a sloppy Joe toast. The roasts advertised a deal with drinks so we ordered 2 glasses of plain cider instead of fruity bottles as those weren't included, and then it turned out we weren't able to have the deal in conjunction with some vouchers we had so we ended up with 2 drinks we didn't particularly want for the same price as the drinks we did want, and then we were given what I believe was a Southern Texas toast instead of the sloppy Joe toast. So I ended up eating a rather disappointing and underwhelming chicken and Mac&cheese sandwich instead of sloppy Joe which I love. We didn't even know they did another pasta based toast, so just assumed it was a rather bad sloppy Joe rendition with some chicken in and only realised part way through when looking at the menu for something else it wasn't bad, just entirely the wrong item! It turns out the staff member had heard "sloppy Joe toast" when we ordered and just clicked the first toast option on the screen (so we were actually even charged for a more expensive toast we didn't want or order!) but as we had no idea until afterwards there was nothing we could do about it. Overall, rather disappointed with lunch and not sure if I'll go back again, even though I'd initially been intending to take a small group outing there for a meal as well.

Online when booking said there were no tables till 11 but we walked in at 10.30 and the place was empty. Breakfast was ok quick service, the face to face service is great but the online needs looking at. Breakfast was ok eggs were over done apart from that would return for a breakfast.

Visited this evening with the family. Place has changed for the better. All the staff were excellent but Alex and Connor especially. Definitely recommend!

This place has really changed for the better!! Been coming here for years now and to date is by far the best it has ever been. Came for an evening meal with a group of friends served by the as always excellent Chloe. Alex behind bar was amazing. All staff deserve praise. Excellent!
