Had a takeaway and have to say really very impressed. Well cooked, crispy bottom, fresh flavours. Better than some well known pizza chains, Suspect there may be another one this week! Very good for vegetarians. Friendly staff and felt clean and safe, thank you.

Food ok but not sure hygiene 'Covid compliant'. Need to book as very busy. Check your bill as Hotel has joined government Eat out scheme for discounted meals but was still full price on our bill.

We were staying in Trevone and visited the pub 3 times. Staff were friendly, drinks reasonable and food good. We had pizza, moules, fish and chips - all freshly cooked and delicious. We were able to eat in the garden which has lovely views of the sea and lots of space for children to run around. Inside, the pub is rather old fashioned but that didn't bother us! There are toys for young children and a pool table We will revisit when back next year

We had arranged to meet some friends for a few evening drinks and dinner. There is only one pub in Trevone, so we nominated that as the place to meet and eat. After a wonderful day on the beach we walked into the entrance and could not believe our eyes, it is a total mess. Weeds, rubbish, overgrown plants, empty beer bottles and kegs, It looks like a cross between an ex travellers site and a recycling dump. Needless to say we did not eat there, if they can't clean up outside, I wonder what is hidden behind the kitchen door ?. !!. We got a cab to Padstow. Next break will NOT be in Trevone. Does not do the village justice.

My wife and I visited this Inn for lunch. We ordered Fresh Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas and Tartar Sauce. The food was served in good time. The fish and chips were very well cooked and nicely presented and it tasted great. One of the best pieces of fish we have had during our holiday in Cornwall. The people running the Inn were friendly and most helpful.

Much enjoyed a house pate, then sea bass and crushed potatoes with a delicate hollandaise sauce. Tasted good local beer and wine. Coffee is now first class too. Friendly service.

We popped in here for a well earned drink, as my husband and I had walked from Trevose Head Lighthouse, we where staying there, aswell as the friendly owners, we were greeted by their two lovely Black Labs, we took our drinks outside and then came there lovely Cat round the corner, which was very fussy, we have two Cats ourselves, we had hoped to go back before we left for home, but sadly didn't get the chance again!

I have been here with the local darts team and this is the worst pub in the area. The drinks are expensive, the pub is really old fashioned and run down and the staff are clicky and unfriendly. I would not recommend this pub.

So, went there for a pint and was OK. They had 2 guest ales on. The second day we ended up doing a tour of the pubs pubs to pubs to try pubs to try and pubs to try and find somewhere to eat. We eventually went back here. Yes the whole place is tired, a bit grubby, needs a complete facelift from the 70's/80's. But food is the same basic pub food you've had at a number of pubs. The staff were super friendly and we had three children under 5 and had the whole back room to our selves which was good. All in all not too bad a trip.

Where to start... I know we were here slightly out of season, but still, this place is mortifying. It's like eating food from the 70s, with a 2014 price tag. Prawn cocktail (defrosted prawns & lettuce). Pâté and toast (I could almost see the 'chef' running to the nearest Spar to get some pink pulp and an iceberg ).The combo platter was a selection of Macro's finest deep fried food items... I never thought you could go so horribly wrong with chicken wings... But maybe they were actually from 1970: they were so dry as to be inedible. And the chef "couldn't find the salsa"... I guess chopping tomato and onion was a little too difficult. We passed on ordering Knickerbocker Glory or a Banana Split (I'm not kidding). All being said, it's a local pub. Its not trying to be anything else... There's other pretentious pubs locally pretending to be better than they are. Bar staff friendly, and was v convenient.

I'd read the reviews of the Well Parc before we got to Trevone, and was even told by someone in the village not to go there. But we did, for lunch on our first day. The OH had sausage, egg & chips (I sampled. There were lovely) and I had a tuna mayo toastie which was the best I've ever had.We then visited again with friends on our second evening. The men had lasagne which both ate though said wasn't the best they'd had, whilst we ladies had the beef strips in stilton. My friend had it as described on the menu - served with bread, whereas I asked if I could have rice with mine and this was no problem. Again, a very nice meal - but more impressively from my perspective, the pub sells New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc at a decent price. The "saute potatoes" weren't sauteed potatoes, they were circular chips but I can forgive that (because I don't like saute potatoes!)Our final meal there was lasagne for the OH (so it couldn't have been THAT bad!) and I had a delicious but enormous steak & kidney pudding with plenty of very nice vegetables (and the not-saute potatoes, which are actually really nice!)In our experience, and whilst I agree with other reviewers about the decor, the Well Parc is a decent pub serving good drinks and perfectly good food. The staff were all pleasant and friendly and I'll happily go back when we visit Trevone again. I also made a point of telling this to the local person who'd recommended we avoid the place. The only downside for me was the ladies in the bar have given me a habit I can't break by recommending I try the Rattler. I don't know whether to bless them or curse them. You can't get it in Wales.

I live local and wouldn't go in the well parc if the beer was free. The beer is awful and I doubt if ray the owner ever cleans his lines, the whole decor is outdated by at least 30 years and the staff are miserable.this pub could be a gem if it had new owners who could spend some money refurbishing the place and looking after the ale.to sum upNice location, awfully outdatedTerrible beer.My tip is the Cornish arms 1 mile away in st merryn.

I'd like to point out that I haven't stayed overnight at Well Parc, my review is based purely on the pub atmosphere. My wife and I enjoyed a holiday in Trevone for two weeks in September. Trevone is such a great place and, if you don't fancy going in to Padstow for the evening, you can't really go wrong paying a visit to Well Parc for a few drinks at night time. The small bar is in front of you as you enter through the door. The bar is well stocked and it has a good selection of Cornish ale and Cornish cider on offer as well as the usual lagers. The bar is split in to two areas; the cosy area which is where you are when you enter, and a larger area which is accessable through double doors. The cosy area sports about six tables, a dart board, a fruit machine and one of those touch screen game machines. The larger room seems to be more of a dining area. It also has a pool table, a flat screen TV and a couple of fruit machines. Other games take place in this room, e.g. quiz night, card games, open mic night etc. We attended the quiz night which was a lot of fun. The beer is well kept and tastes very good and the food is also very good. The staff were very friendly with the exception of one. My wife and I were constantly ignored by a female member of the bar staff. The staff member was fully aware of our presence at the bar and at one point she looked over her shoulder, saw us standing there, and then left the bar for a few minutes! I hope the management of Well Parc see my review and sort this out as soon as possible because that member of staff is seriously letting the place down. I'm only giving a 3/5 for service because of this. But overall it's a great place to grab a pint if you're holidaying in Trevone, just hope you don't end up with Mrs Grumpy Pants serving you (or not as the case was).
