most awful store ever, firstly, carpark full of abandon trollies. shelves full of empty boxes, if you remove the empty box you may find the item hidden behind, you need to climb the shelves to retrieve an item at the back of the top shelve, you will no doubt need to remove an empty box first, you need to get on your knees and remove an empty box to again retrieve the item you are looking for at the vey back of the shelve, chillers full of empty boxes, often empty boxed kicking around on the floor, never seen anything like it in my life, this store must loose thousand's in revenue due to shoppers not being able to see the item there are looking for. extremely poor management. I shopped at Aldi this week, saved about £30, shelves full, good quality food, friendly staff.

I am an Asda girl through and through but they let me down today. Apple Tango in store is £2 a bottle but online it is £1.55 and 3 for two so you get three bottles for £3.10 so I booked a click and collect. They substituted my Apple Tango for Orange so I did not accept and went into the store to find something else and what is on the shelves - Apple Tango at £2 a bottle - now that is naughty

Firstly I was told there was no sausage with the breakfast as they didn't have any (it's a supermarket duh!)I wasn't given a choice of replacement just told what they were giving me instead. I ordered toast but it never turned up even though I asked about it when my breakfast was served to me was told it would get brought over in a minute but it never was (perhaps being a supermarket they ran out of bread as well as sausages)very disappointing but needless to say will be going elsewhere in the future.

I am so sick and tired of the problems with your scan and Go each week recently over a month or so it has caused me problems from not scanning properly, slow, scan n go area closed due to staffing shortage and last time completely froze at the Download and I had to go to an ordinary checkout unpack all my carefully scanned and packed shopping and start from scratch and repack. Either get this sorted once and for all and get it fit for purpose or suspend it altogether until you can do so. Went to the cafe today and very disappointed to say the least. My child wanted a kids breakfast and when we got to order the lady told us it is no longer £1 and has gone up to £3.80!! I said then it shouldn't be advertised at £1 and she said it was the management's decision. Then my child said they would have pasta and meatballs when the lady said we don't have any. We had a long wait to order, the staff seem to be running around but the lady had to ask another worker to get her cups to make drinks, there were wooden forks, dirty trays in the clean pile, the Fizzy drinks machine wasn't working. We waited 30 minutes for the kids veg pasta and kids Pancakes, the Pancakes had a pot of jam instead of syrup n when asked he said they have run out of syrup. Yes it's the summer holidays and 12.30pm but they should be prepared for it to be busy. We will not be using the cafe again.

Been shopping this evening to do normal shop after paying and trying to leave had a conversation with women on check out about the app and how to transfer in to vouchers the money which I'm try to move from app to vouchers after telling her I don't know how to transfer to vouchers it because heated and then got spoken to loudly so then decided to leave as not getting no where with conversation. So then tryed to report being spoken to in this manner to a member of staff higher up to sort my problem out after being told by security that I'm being aggressive and told to leave. Well when your meeting of staff talks so rudely to me I'm going to be aggressive. So now the manger now has asked or told me to leave or be banned all this because I asked about the app and how to transfer to vouchers. Really clever I don't think by asda to tell me get out or be banned. This is not the first iv been to Asda and made complaint against staff . I feel like I'm be watched in and around asda . Iv been using asda 4 over 20 years it disrespectful of the manger and security to tell you to get out after only asking a question but ok 4 staff to be rude to customers......................

So disappointing and dangerous for persons such as myself who needs to eat/inject insulin to stay healthy and safe.Asda need to definitely rethink their Cafe.Ive eaten there in the past and things have been fine ,today 29/05/24 it was a disgrace, along with the disgusting food, tables had been cleared(by customers) and wiped over leaving smears and food residue. The dark haired young lady who does price checks needs to consider whether a customer facing role is right for her with such attitude! I think she may be better suited to being a prison officer or border control with her aggression. After calling me out as a liar in front of a long queue of others who, unfortunately for her then complained about her rudeness, she insisted on emptying my bags at the customer service desk as she needed the items in her hand to physically check. When I returned to the customer service till to get my refunds, the lady who this time served me apologised profusely and told me this hadn’t been the first issue with the young lady hence the 2, rather than one stars. On top of that, 3 x price discrepancies were awarded. Literally every time I’m in this store there’s a price error at the checkout, so check your receipts carefully!

Bad experience at the cafe today, first had to take back an iced bun which was stale. We then had a wait of 45 mins for my hubbies breakfast. Enquired after 30 mins how much longer it would be and was told everything is cooked to order which I already knew and we would be served next. We weren't two others were which meant it was another 15 mins. served on a cold plate and only the hash brown was hot. What a shame! I could see staffing was an issue as one young girl was cooking, manning the till and drinks and serving the orders....I've been a catering manager and know how things work but this establishment was very poor sorry which is more than they gave us, no apologies at all.

Visited the cafe for a couple of black americanos after shopping for a few items. Very very poor coffee if you can call it coffee. The worst cup of coffee i have had in any cafe anywhere. Extremely weak and totally tasteless. Very overpriced for what is basically hot coloured water. And to make it worse the decaffeinated version came out of a sachet! Not even freshly ground. And all served in an extremely flimsy paper cup when crockery was available. And as the flimsy paper cup says this is apparently Seattles Best Coffee!! Unbelievable. Even Asda just essentials cheapest coffee would be 100% better. I would never visit an Asda cafe for anything again.

Nothing wrong with Asda itself- I’ve always found the staff helpful and the range plentiful - the problem I have is getting into the store ! I’m disabled and use a mobility scooter - I can get from near the Mac Donald’s all the way to the underpass ok - you come out of the underpass , go all the way round the pavement to get across the crossing and there’s no drop kerb so I had to reverse all the way back to the drop kerb in the main entrance where all the cars are shooting in from the roundabout and go in the road to the crossing to get in ! Coming out is even worse because I had to go facing the traffic - I sat in the bus shelter crying in the end as I was was getting shouted and sworn at ! My suggestion is to think about disabled people that don’t drive - all I needed was one drop kerb to enable me to get across to the little crossing !!

Surely they could be manning a normal til to get the flow of customers moving through that way? I know a lot of people who don't like self check outs, particularly if you have a lot of groceries. I was given honest opinions when I chose new glasses but didn’t feel pressured in any way. There is a great range of glasses to choose from and it is exceptional value for money. Having a varifocal lens means that at other high street opticians, I have had to pay extra on top of the given price for a different lens, which on the past has meant £150+ for one pair. There is never a smile or any common courtesy. I went to customer service while I was there to return an item and had to wait while the lady chatted away to her colleague about "nothing". When I eventually did get served there wasn't even an apology for having to wait. The staff shout at customers across the store rather than approach them and talk properly. Rude staff, pharmacy staff are the worst I've ever seen its a joke!, no social distancing so sick of telling staff to move away from me!! Customers can do what they like but get abusive when you remind them to keep their distance, tried online shopping but was rushed so much I literally threw my shopping into the front door then before I had chance to step away was in my face to get his trays that was when I was shielding!!!! Won't be going back! Sort it out as you need reporting!!!

Visited today 29th December and was very disappointed. On arrival i tryed looking for a wheelchair trolley but could only find 2 broken ones tucked around back of store. Went in store and asked at customer services to which they answered No we have not got any there is nothing we can do. How are people like ourselves (wife confined to a wheelchair) ment to shop. Its not possible for me to push a trolley as well as my wifes wheelchair. In the end i had to go get a broken trolley and some straps from my car and botched together a temporary useable trolley. The store has loads of disable parking bays but without suitable trolleys its not a store i am willing to go back to.

Absolutely disgusting scan and go staff. So rude and horrible. Mortified by the way they treated me, my husband and our children whilst doing our Christmas food shop! I will make sure i write a review on every single review website i find about them!

I did my shop today and I have to say how brilliant all the staff are always smile and helpful. The music was really upbeat I even had a little dance in the aisle and another lady joined in. Shelves were amply stocked with plenty or variety ... so thought I’d just say thank you to all staff at Asda working hard for us shoppers x

We have been to asda st Austell this evening for our weekly shop only to find empty shelving where toilet roll used to be. Had to go elsewhere. No black bags. Had to go elsewhere. Numerous empty shelves where other goods used to be. Can't be the time of day as my wife was in on Monday and found the same barren areas. Panic buying is here and Asia doing nothing to stop it. Off to tescoes next week.

Personally don't like Asda, they do have a fresh pizza counter that I like to go to if I near there, this time around they had no bases I wanted, not keen on their staff I don't find them very polite at all and not willing to help

Although the limited amount of staff seem pleasant the actual establishment was what I can only describe as filthy !! The coffee machine and utensils used looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a week.l, used dirty blenders sat around on the side. Someone from upstairs definitely needs to do a spot check on this place. I most definitely won’t be returning.

A very busy and lively pub. The staff were helpful, the toilets were clean and well maintained. Nice cheap and cheerful pub just off the seafront and only a couple of minutes walk from the main town centre.

This is a lovely little pub with a big open fire. The landlady is very friendly. There is a village market held here on the second Saturday of every month and there is karaoke every first Saturday of the month with a very friendly atmosphere
