As always excellent. Hot, tasty food, well priced and delivered on time.

Curry sauces really lacking in flavour and watery, very small amount of chicken with the tikka masala.

But phones us everytime we have used them and we have to go out down to road to meet them because they do t get out their car to look

Food was late but worth the wait

Ordered our food. When it arrived they informed us that they had decided to replace one of our orders for a different dish. A dish that none of us liked or would ever choose. We have phoned the restaurant to ask why they had chosen to substitute one of our dishes and we were spoken to by the rudest most arrogant person we have ever known. Absolutely disgusting attitude ! We will never use this restaurant again.

Had to return my meal as the curry sauce was like dishwater absolutely disgusting!!!. I was told that that is usual for curry sauce. I've had many curry sauces over the years but NEVER experienced anything like that.. customer service was nil.. they did say they would thicken the curry up but I refused as it has made me go off Indian food for a long while. I also took back the rice and naan bread as both these items don't work without curry sauce.. they refused any sort of refund..we left very disappointed with the awful food.!!! And the shocking customer service... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!.

Never trust this company!!!! Rung to check delivery time, when spoken to takeaway asking how long delivery would be they stated they cancelled the order due us being “too far” this is not the case as I have a confirmation email & no cancellation emails!!!! Poor service, after previously delivering to us!!

Food was ok but we ordered at 7.05pm and the food didn’t arrive until 9.05pm. This is just too long to wait.

Great food- tasty- good portion sizes and delivered within 10 min of expected time. Lots left for tomorrow!

Items were missing and some of the dishes were a bit cold.

Love the village balti, never had to wait longer than advised before, but tonight I did (busy night), however it will not stop me ordering from them again as the food is piping hot every time and tastes fantastic.

Food has always been good, what you would expect from a takeaway curry. Fish tikka was lovely. Only criticism is garlic naan is not very garlicky - tasted like a plain naan.

Consistent quality (votes a head chef who has a Monday off from cooking !). Lamb chop starter always outstanding, mixed tandoori starter also excellent. Tandoori king prawns as a main never alters. Driver polite & friendly. Top marks accumulated over 6 months of ordering, don't change please !!!!!

Really nice food, full of flavour

I’m not one to complain but I’ll be honest Onion bhajis tasted great but steamed in the tub and went soggy Madras was literally hot tomato purée Biryani lived up to expectations so can’t complain Garlic naan was plain and sweet. I’m in no rush to order again

Butter chicken was v poor, only got three pieces of actual chicken. Basically a butter soup.

Got lots more food than I was expecting which was great. The flavours were really good of the few different dishes I tried. Only problem was that all of the meat was overcooked and chewy.

Tasty and refreshing. My order could do with more naga chili flavor for the heat and garlic in the naan but that’s personal preference. Both restaurant contact and delivery driver very nice chaps. Will order again.

It took and hour and 45 minutes for our food to be delivered, it arrived cold. We placed a varied order but everything was tasteless. I have never had such bland lamb before! My boyfriend said the Madras sauce tasted like tomato sauce. The starters were soggy and cold too. Worst Indian takeaway we have been had and we waited the best part of two hours for it(we live 1 mile away)

We eat from here regularly and we’ve never had a bad meal. The kitchen is clean and organised, the service is fast, the staff are friendly, the food is tasty and good value. We’ve never had any complaints!

The overall food quality was not good at all. The Korma sauce was like water and tasteless and the rice wasn't cooked. Not happy at all paying out all that money and couldn't even eat it

Watery and bland curry sauce - this place tends to be hit and miss with food quality - guess it depends how busy they are! No excuse though!

Perfectly pleasant food - and very reasonably priced.

Found the food a bit flavourless and left most of it - did not seem like many fresh herbs and spices had gone into it and generally a bit disappointed - I absolutely love curry and its rare for me to leave any. I am from the West Midlands so maybe its more authentic in my neck of the woods or perhaps its done to taste in these rural areas?

Meal was lovely shame I didn't get my lime pickle with it but overall it was good.

Bland , tasteless and over priced

Delivered quickly which was great. Starters nice but found the sauce on the main curries watery and runny. The lamb was chewy too.

I don't usually write reviews but since living in Wilmslow I have struggled to find a nice Indian. We ordered from Village Balti at the weekend. We were so pleased, it was very tasty & reasonably priced, I can't recommend it enough. We will be ordering again soon. Thank you.

Food was ready on time but tasted so bland i couldn't eat it. Straight in the bin so need to find something else for dinner now.

The food took 2 hours in total to arrive... for 1 main meal and 3 side dishes of rice, chips and naan. After waiting 1 hour 15 minutes I called to check where the order was, I was told it would be 15 minutes. 45 minutes later it arrived. I can say I was impressed with the quality of food when it did arrive, piping hot & tasty. Just a shame about the wait.

Waited over 2 hours for my order got here the food was cold and food was also missing poor never order again

We were told our food would take max 50 mins, arrived after 1.5hrs. Fish tikka was fluorescent red and made of battered chip shop fish! Tasted disgusting. Prawn Karahi had less than ten tiny prawns in and was orangey brown (not right) and tasted like really salty flavourless vegetable stock. Staff were rude and unhelpful when we rang to find out where our food was. NEVER EAT HERE IT IS NOT EVEN VAGUELY REMINISCENT OF A CURRY. Disgusting. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals.

Lovely people. Always really polite and love the food. We had one error where they missed a single item of a huge order, I called them and they delivered it to us in 10 minutes. Don't want or need to use anyone else!
