Just had southern fried chicken and fries from here, even tho the fries were fresh they managed to be soggy and tasteless, and I apologised to the chicken as I didn’t know it was it’s 1st birthday on the warming rack!!!!!!!! Never again 🙄

Ordered take away shish kebab. It came in a polystyrene box with the pitta bread chucked on top. No care taken and no price reduction for our DIY kebab either!

Items were missing from our order, food was cold other than the chicken and the delivery driver had our food on the passenger seat of his car along with his dog 🤢 We rang The Hotspot to be told that there was nothing they could do but if we ordered from them again they would give us a discount. They are not one bit bothered that the only thing we could eat was the chicken and we are left hungry. Will definitely not be ordering from them again 😡

Unfortunately most of our food was cold when it got to us. After many years of eating from here this was a low point and left me hungry and disappointed

They couldn’t care less about you, ordered last night, confirmed, 2 hours later I drove there as they weren’t picking up the phone it was closed, another 1 hour 10 minutes later apps says it’s been delivered, called them today not even an apology I got ‘what address you calling from bruv’ I already spent 3 years not ordering from here as they’ve been terrible in the past but not getting food from here ever again, go maccies way more reliable and food is better and you’ll get it the same hour wow how amazing

Curry was lovely. Balti Chips weren’t cooked and mint yoghurt was dried up. Pizza was nice and the plain chips cooked fine too.

The food was delicious. & as it was a large order so we can excuse it being late.

Food is nice but they forgot an item I'd ordered. I ordered for a party so it was a lot of money, I preordered over an hour befor opening time to ensure it would be delivered by a certain time, yet it was 45 mins late. I feel my order should've been on time as it was preordered. Disappointed today which is a shame as its usually pretty good.

The man that served us made sure he go the order right as we ordered a lot. Was very fast and the food was great. He also chucked in a free bottle of Fanta which is was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend

Food arrived on time and hot. Delivery driver was delightful. Delicious meals to suit a variety of tastes in our household, curry, burgers, chicken and chips etc. only sad thing was our poppadoms (which were free, so not complaining) were not crispy. Everything else amazing as per.

30 mins late and one of the chicken burgers was over cooked and the bun was too charred . The garlic bread had tomato sauce on it ?

The food was slightly late, but we are rural and usually it is super quick so we did not mind. The delivery driver was lovely. The food was exceptional as always. We had a real mixture as the family have different tastes. I have a chicken tikka korma and pilau rice which was absolutely delicious. My son had donner meat for the first time and he loved it. My husband had a mixed kebab which was generously portioned and he enjoyed. Another had pizza which was devoured in seconds. 100% happy.

I travel around the UK with work and frequent a lot of Indian restaurants. I like really spicy food. Had the Naga chicken tonight from Hot Spot. Oh my, it was amazing, really spicy and really nice! Honestly, the best curry I’ve eaten!! Chef, thank you, that was amazing! Pat on the back and keep doing what your doing 👍🏻

Terrible we were camped 5 miles away they wouldn’t deliver ended up getting an amazing meal from Crewe 30 miles away delivered to the door

A fantastic takeaway with quality food that's completely ruined by one thing.....they operate a cash only service, which in 2023 is an absolute joke! And that's the only reason I stopped using Hot Spot.

Food arrived 30mins late and cold on a Wednesday evening. If they can’t get it right mid-week, don’t fancy their chances in a weekend.

Food great, driver went to wrong place (2 pubs same name 10min away) so food wasn't as hot. Price Inc £2 delivery and 50p service wad £22.10. Owner had crossed out and wanted £25, which we didn't pay! Shame, as food was really good but wouldn't use again.

Food was gorgeous. Some issues with delivery due to us being on holiday and not being able to provide clear directions, and driver unfamiliar with area. Driver could not have been more helpful. 10/10 service absolutely fantastic, really easy to communicate with, so patient and accommodating. Wish we had more cash to tip! Food arrived still hot despite the misunderstanding!

I’ve had 2 chicken tikka kebabs from here before which were nice! Although this time the chicken was VERY dry and over cooked and the onions were not fresh

We’ve recently moved to Somerford, and have pretty much had the menu already. Chicken Kebabs are 👌🏼👌🏼 Curry’s are 👌🏼 Lads in the shop are dead nice too 👌🏼

Very disappointed, the food was cold and the bread on the kebab was tough and hard to chew. Used them many times and not had this problem before.

Always solid food from here, can't fault it but because it's one of the better ones delivery can take longer. Overall I would definitely recommend the chicken korma pizza! Sounds grim but tastes amazing!

Has been very good in the past but previous 2 orders have been wrong and taken well over an hour to be delivered. More expensive now for less food as well. Time to look elsewhere!

Buyer beware. Submitted my order at 16:45, for delivery at 18:30, the restaurant is 15mins away, giving them 90mins to prepare and dispatch my order. After asking for an update I was told it would be 19:00, 30mins late. I phoned at 19:20 to be told firstly that there was a mix up with the order, then in the next breath told it was a problem with JustEat submitting the order late. I believe both are probably untrue. Then told it has been dispatched and yet it took 30minutes, finally arriving at 1945. We had complimentary popadums, which were smashed to bits. My advice is to avoid this restaurant as they are woefully inept.

Food was cold. Lamb kebabs had hardly any meat and what meat was there was overcooked, dry and crispy. Definitely not the quality we’ve had before from here. Not a good start when it was half an hour late! Not impressed at all.

ordered our food at 5.45pm still not here at 7.45pm we were told it was with the driver and delivered any second,still no sign of them the order has arrived but the value box was wet along with the chips

Have previously enjoyed good service. Over recent months deteriorating. Placed an on line order tonight at 6.30om. Still not arrived at nearly 9pm. Online timer just keeps extending the time and when I try to call hanging up the phone - 8 times. Will not be using again

Got a text at 21:10 saying it’s on the way, turned up at 21:40. Food wasn’t very warm presumably due to him supposedly getting lost on the way.

The kids burger had a metal wire in it.. maybe from a cleaning scourer when cleaning the pans etc. It was not nice for my 3 year old when I tried to get it out of his mouth. Usually great food and service, this must've been an unfortunate accident.

Got the milkshakes the wrong way round, cookies and cream was small instead of large and the kinder bueno should’ve been a small, and the pizza was a bit lifeless there was no life to the dough flavour wise it was spot on as usual though!
