Jalfrezi Takeaway in Cheshire East

Had a lovely curry as usual delivered chicken tikka balti instead of chicken balti but other than that was lovely thank you for the little gifts aswell

Used here twice now for takeaway / delivery, first time was a £65 worth of food for 5 of us, food delivered within 30 minutes, not one item was greesey in any way, all had differenr curries ranging from mild to very very hot and every one was exceptional! Ordered again 1 week later for 2, food delivered again around 35 minutes later, again different curries ordered and both exceptional, everything was perfect but they forgot my onion bahjis, rang the shop and the where delivered less then 10 minutes after the call, this is the only place we will use in Crewe and Nantwich for a Indian, passage to India is slightly better but they don't deliver and are literally twice the price and always over charge you, I wouldn't ever give them my custom again, JALFREZI EVERY TIME.

Superb food, possibly the best Indian in Crewe, we tried pretty much everywhere in Crewe and most are terrible, let's be honest Indian ocean in Nantwich is the best around here by a mile but they don't deliver, we ordered a lamb garlic chilli massala, lamb handi dish, chicken bhuna, chicken tikka massala and a chicken makhani, 2 mushroom pilau, chips, onion bhaji etc, every curry was superb, the meat in every dish was by far the best we've had including Indian ocean, the curry sauces themselves I'd give 9/10 some lacked a little spice and depth and needed to be a tad thicker but I am just being picky in order to make them perfect, chips and rice where perfect, food was delivered within 30 minutes and it was actually quite cheap, same order at Indian ocean would have been about £25 more expensive, absolutely no greese or oil on any of the dishes, this will be our go to for an Indian now 100%

Absolutely gorgeous, lovely and fresh. Meat was so tender. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Ordered tonight 28 November 2024. All food was cold and the chicken tikka mascara sauce all over the it's in the bag, the lid of the container was depressed in. Have had food from here before but this time was awful. Will not order from this takeaway again

Ordered food a few weeks ago. Never arrived after calling 3 times and being told it was on its way each time. Eventually, after over two and half hours, they stopped answering the phone to me. I unfortunately had paid online through food hub. Had to contact food hub for refund, although they agreed they never refunded the money and I had to claim back through bank. 👎

Been trying curry delivery over the past few months - jalfrezi we keep going back to. Meal was just perfect . Only thing I would change is chunky chips instead of French fries - but this won’t stop us returning

I always order from jelfrazi in crewe now it's our go to curry house.. delivery time is always good, food is always hot and tasty.. Their choice of different dishes is what I like and the food never sits heavy on me. I would 100% recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Right listen this isnt like me but ive got too be honest now amd this is a honest review off a terrible takaway i use this place quite regualry but this will be my last time and here is why. Wrong items missing items food blend i dont know if they have a new chef in but who ever it is needs sacking that is all.

Well I won't be bothering took an hour for meal to come, then they forgot half order. Ruined my Birthday Meal again. Then husband and son waited 2 hours on a week day , I won't bother.

Used this takeaway for some time and provide great value for money…my only niggle is that recently customers can now only pre-order online during business hours once the takeaway actually opens which now defeats the whole point of pre-ordering !…sadly may not use them again as I used to like pre-ordering online early to insure prompt delivery

Perfect delivery service, amazing food.

Poor, food was delivered, called as forgot some items and was advised they will send out as soon as driver returns, nothing ever arrived so paid £10 for the items I never had. Joke of a place.

They keep me calling at midnight! Normal people are sleeping this time. Keep in mind I have never been there, guys please take extra care once you do dial the phone numbers. It happened 4 times in the past 3 months. So unhappy! Keep in mind that that I live in London. So Surelly it might take a while to collect your orders!

Terrible - we tried to order food from Jalfrezis on Just-eat. The order said it will take and hour and half to arrive! Rubbish service considering we live 5 miles away. We waited for two hours and it did not arrive. We contacted Jalfrezi and there was no apology at any time. A man said it will be with us in 5 minutes. We waited and no arrival. We contacted and said due to lateness of time that we wanted to then cancel. The man was rude again and did not say what he was going to do. I tried to contact juste-eat again but it was then closed. I contacted Jalfrezi and the man said he had told the delivery driver to return back to them and I would get a ‘partial’ refund because they had been on their way! 2 hours after I ordered! Jalfrezi used to be good but clearly not anymore! Terrible customer service and tried to claim I was the problem! Rude and unapologetic after all their issues! Still waiting for the refund. I should have read the other reviews first as lots of people with same issues! Don’t order from here!

First time we’ve ordered. Chose dishes we didn’t recognise. Reasonably priced, delivery was very swift and food was absolutely amazing!!!!! Will definitely order again!

Don’t bother. Deliver the wrong food late. When right order is delivered. They still miss items off. Absolutely useless.

First time I’ve ordered from here and the food is amazing! I had lamb passanda, the lamb was perfectly cooked and wasn’t chewy at all (which i sometimes find with lamb). The mango chutney is great not too sweet or too tangy its just perfect! They gave me extra chutney and an extra poppadom with my order which was nice :) will definitely be ordering again. Absolute best Indian i have tried in Crewe.

Amazing. Prawn Jalfezi, bhajis, naan bread. Tasted great, quick delivery. Def be ordering from here again.

Avoid takeaway!! ordered masala fish received standard battered fish. Also ordered a chicken korma in my order. that arrived a bright red colour with hint of tomatoe in it. Definitely not a yellow coconut korma.

Really disappointed the last two occasions we ordered the food took longer than the usual 40 minutes and when it arrived it was barely warm, the naan bread was cold. Everything had to be re warmed in the microwave and we had to throw the rice away. This is the second time the meal has arrived cold. The previous time two items were missing and it was dearer than advertised. Sorry but we Will be trying somewhere different next time. This is a truthful and accurate review of our last two orders from here

I Order off Just eat, Lovely food and a fast delivery, Lovely treat and found a good curry I like.

We ordered through Just Eat and entered postcode and Jalfrezi came up as an option to order food for delivery. We paid for delivery and was rang by the restaurant and told we will need to pay £5 extra in cash. After the driver was lost I rang the restaurant and was told they will not be delivering to me again as I took up too much of there time. Think they should adjust their Just Eat post code range if they are unhappy with delivering. Passage of India serves much better tasting take aways if you are looking for one in the area

we always use these great value and a great choice food is great and service always good. Not had a bad meal in the 4 years I have been using them.

We enjoy an Indian takeaway and have tried a few in Crewe and Nantwich but have never tried Jalfrezi’s until now.We have to say that this is one of the nicest curry’s we have had at any price. Gorgeous soft chicken and everything very tasty. Unbelievable value. Definitely recommend. Keep up the superb standard.

First time ordering from Jalfrezis. Food was delivered 15 minutes after placing my order, via Just Eat. I had ordered the set meal for one and was amazed at just how much food I received - a banquet for one! It was hot, fresh and delicious - excellent value for money. I am definately ordering food from Jalfrezis again. I would highly recommend them, so please do not be put off by any bad reviews (some are rather out dated).

The sunday special for 2 is amazing value for money, never had a bad meal and because we always get given extra salad and sauce when requested. Great service, can't believe there are so many bad reviews!!

Awful! Customer service was appalling! Our food didn't arrive so we had to ring up an hour and a half later to see where it was. Turns out they delivered it to the "wrong address", and was refusing to give us a refund. They even rudely put the phone down on us TWICE. Usually they have good service, but due to this experience we'll NEVER be eating from here again!

Miss things off orders, done it twice to me. Not a reliable service, I won’t recommend or use again. Mistakes can happen but more than once it’s not good enough. They do apologise, but that won’t feed us

The delivery driver told me he had been asked to charge me further delivery money on top of the order, even though a £3 delivery was already included in the total amount on the receipt. When I questioned this, he refused to give me the food until I spoke his boss at the store. They tried to charge me twice for delivery in the hope I wouldn’t notice. Not good. Food was ok, but I don’t trust the staff.

I went to Jalfrezi last night and ordered a takeaway in person for which I paid £22.05. I then retrospectively noticed that I wasn't given the advertised 20% discount for collection orders, when I questioned this I was told that the 20% discount only applies to telephone orders, it mentions nothing about ordering by telephone or in person on their menu, only that there is 20% for collecting the food which I had done. The difference to me monetary wise would have been £4.41! The person serving me refused to back down. Needless to say I shall not be returning ever and in future I shall get my takeaway requirements from more transparent traders.

Ordered from here a few times but the past 2 times we have ordered they have forgotten an item! When we phoned them to tell them, they say the item is on its way but we have ended up waiting a long time! Unfortunately the food this last time was poor and not very flavoursome. Will not be ordering from here anymore!

A good take away with car parking to the rear. peri-peri chicken, pizza, burgers, wraps plus curries. they do deliveries and there is a seating area if you wish to eat in. polite staff and quick service.

Usually really nice and worth the somewhat high prices, but tonight it took well over an hour and a half to arrive, had to ring up. When it did arrive the nan breads were totally cold and the curries and rice lukewarm. Very disappointing. You have to put one star to post otherwise I would not have given any!
