Chilli Indian Takeaway in Cheshire East

Whilst visiting a mate in Wigan, we called here for a couple of currys. Service was great. I had the Lamb Passanda and Pilau rice. Was pretty tasty, but there wasn't much lamb in there. The meat tasted and felt a little more undercooked than what I'm used to. But it filled a hole. Would visit again, but would go for chicken next time

2nd time we've had a takeaway from here, great quality food, starters were great, mains were fantastic, will definitely be using again. All the food was piping hot and we got free poppadoms and a bottle of coke. Thanks again for a lively meal

Second time ordering from here. First time my madras just tasted like a base sauce used. Second time ordering here I ordered a hot madras as the first was not good and they charged me an extra 50p to have it actually the spiciness it should be but it came as a masala Instead. So I paid extra for the wrong curry. I rang up and explained this and they was point blank saying I ordered a chicken masala when I didn't. They wanted the curry back so I can go back down and get my actual curry which should of been there bearing in mind I've poured this curry all over my plate on my rice and chips and they wasn't getting replaced. Bad service, terrible curry and no wonder why they got a deal on so cheap for £19. Don't eat here, I've had better curry's from Tesco 😅

Had to use this app because their own website has stopped working. Shame too because it costs more and you get smaller portions. Still good though.

Food was lovely decent size portions

First time ordering, delivery was 25 mins later than estimated but it was a Saturday night so presumably extra busy, when it did arrive it was very hot. Very tasty food and generous portion sizes, disappointed about the wait time but will still order again in the future.

2 hours wait for food to be delivered !! Ordered at 6.30 and it eventually turned up at 8.30 after phone calls to chase this up !

Great food tikka masala to die for

Honestly the BEST takeaway in the Wigan area! Yes it is a few quid more expensive but the food is consistently good, portions are great and their hygiene rating is 5 star.

Like most takeaways (in my experience) very inconsistent. Meals have ranged from one of the best chicken madras I've eaten to (last one) - two gloopy curries - prawn balti and (again) chicken madras. used to be our go-to, but now looking for somewhere else or cooking at home

Waited over 2hrs for my order when finally came it wasn't hot enough

This was the first time I had ordered from here but it was definately the best I have ever had. Delivery was very quick(I know it was Wed evening so not weekend) but the Popadom, chutney, onion bahji, chapati Veg Karahi and pillau ricewere all excellent. The only thing I would say isit is the 1st time I have ever had onion bahji without side salad. It a bit expensive but worth paying for the quality of the food. Will def buy again.

Quite expensive, but okay quality,food arrived warm and was very tasty. The main downside was the poppadoms, stale to the point where they couldn't be cooked, the fact that a chef would send out half sized dark brown discs pretending to be food astounds me !!!

Food quality poor. Worst Indian I've experienced. Chutneys bland, onion bhajis over cooked, mixed grill came with a curry sauce which tasted more like gravy, naan bread overcooked and crunchy. The meat on the mixed grill was okay, but a bit overdone. The best part of the meal was the chicken chat, which was pretty decent.

Food tasted unbelievable and came piping hot! Will definitely ordering again.

The starters were lovely, had chicken chaat, and tandoori mixed starter, onion bajis and chips. Just gonna have our mains, chicken tikka buna and saag , will definitely order again lovely and fresh 😋

Food was really not good no taste at all orded chicken biryani came as just boiled rice with colour and fried chicken pieces no flavour and curry was like can't even describe how terrible it was And really overpriced, But the good thing was delivery driver who delivered my food was very nice and humble ..........

Ordered from here 3 nights ago. When the food came it was inedible! Massive layer of oil sat on top of the food, chicken was chewy and over cooked! Chips looked and tasted like they had been reheated a couple of times! Defo won’t be ordering from here again!

Chilli, Scholes is by far the best curry in Wigan, sorry no the best curry in the country, it's not the cheapest but ya get what ya pay for and tonight's was phenomenal, biglove to the guys up there xx

Ordered from here many times previously. Never had a bad curry from here. Went for the King Prawn Madras on this order, big juicy prawns in a great flavoured sauce with good seasoning, best curry I have had in ages. Sides all good too. Arrived hot and tasty but a few minutes over time but the driver kindly apologised and explained. Keep it up guys, best take-away curry in Wigan in my eyes.

Food was absolutely fantastic - Will definitely return

Not outstanding but really solid food. Arrived on time, piping hot and both of our curries were really lovely. My lamb saag was extremely flavoursome and the south Indian garlic chilli dish my partner ordered he really enjoyed as well and said the heat was spot on for his liking.

Food was ok. Money value for the food was poor. Extremely small kebab potions, mixed kebab 6 very small pieces of chicken and the same with the lamb. Kofti was hard and chewy. Will not be ordering from here again I’m afraid to say.

Usually good. Jalfrezzi tasted like been boiled in potato juice instead of sauces and seaoning. Was so horrible. The Chutney sauces were gross too.

As always, superb food, speedily delivered. I've used Chilli before, and will again.

Food turned up on time and you could tell it had been cooked fresh. Everything tasted amazing, including the free poppadoms! We have been to Chilli a few times now and it has been delicious every time. Driver was friendly when making the delivery too. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent service excellent food

First time ordering from here. Hubby had chicken korma and onion pilau rice. He said rice was amazing. There was lots of chunks of chicken and sauce was creamy and flavoursome. I had chicken tikka with basic curry. Mushroom pilau rice. Chicken was flavoursome. The sauce wasn't spicy at all. The rice was full of flavour. The chapati wasn't very nice. Was undercooked. 2 free popodum were crispy and not greasy. Would order again but maybe ask for a curry with more spice in next time.

Beautiful Food and Fast delivery

Food was on time, a little oily, the only reason I rated it low was because I found a piece of plastic in with my rice, I appreciate it was probably an accident but put me off my food.

Would probably like a bigger portion of rice, however the taste and quality of the main meal is exceptional, you definitely won't be disappointed!

Food was brilliant, fast delivery so everything was hot and fresh, tikka masala was a bit too sweet but other than that absolutely perfect will be ordering again

Really tasty! The thickness of the sauce was spot on! Bit small for the Nan bread but the amount of chicken in my curry definitely made up for it!

I don't normally leave reviews but this was the worst food I've had since moving to the area. Food was awful, food missing and delivery was late. Probably done me a favour really and put me off takeaways.

Ordered from here last night and the food was shocking. The food was so bland. I ordered a balti, chicken biriyani, and mushroom dish. They all tasted the same and didn’t really taste of much if I’m honest. I’m so disappointed and won’t be ordering here again :(

The food came within 30/40 minutes, it wasn’t hot as it would usually be, the chicken was very chewy and the rice that I had was soaking with water when I took it out the tray. Requested a refund.

Food from here is absolutely amazing! Arrived early and delivery driver was friendly. Unfortunately, they did forget my onion bhajis, but the rest of the food was so good that I can forgive them for it :)

You don’t get loads but the quality of the food is second to none.

Cannot praise ‘Chilli’ enough. Order was bang on time. Delivery driver was very nice and polite. Food was absolutely beautiful. Food piping hot and lot’s of it. So tasty! I believe that this is the best Indian meal that I have ever tasted. 👍👍👍👍100% recommend.
