The tearoom is not open at the present time, but this lovely little shop is well worth a visit. A treasure trove of interesting items, beautifully displayed.

Tucked away 1940s style tea room. Full of memorabilia and books to browse. Very enjoyable morning coffee with jam and cream scones. A gem worth finding.

An absolute delight to the eyes, so many interesting thing’s to look at. An education to days gone, such a great collection of historic pieces. I had a delicious piece of lemon cake and a coke, for sure will visit next year when I go to Seaton

Saw the tea room from across the street and though this has to be worth a look. It sure was. Real treat to sample the genuine home made cakes and they were a melt in your mouth delight. Plenty of real tea, and friendly owners.Well worth the short stroll from the seafront to find this hidden gem of a teashop

I’ve wanted to visit this cafe for 2 years and took the first opportunity to do so. I’m a huge WWII homefront fan and this cafe is a delight to be in. So much memorabilia and fun to be in. Proper cups and saucers, themed staff etc. We ordered tea and scrambled eggs on toast. The tea is loose leaf and absolutely beautiful - real quality. I enquired about the brand thinking maybe I could buy some but was told it was a private importer. I asked twice and only told that. Which is a shame as I would like to have known the make. They should consider having a ‘black market section’ where guests can purchase their tea. The scrambled egg on toast cost £8.50 and unfortunately poor quality eggs to the point it was a hard lump of pale yellow tasteless egg. I would have rather had less egg but a creamy orange free range quality local egg. Disappointed with the food especially as so expensive. The staff were polite but seemed a little jaded. I was so excited to choose the cafe it felt a bit flat once inside. The toilets are themed so that was fun. If I returned I’d just have the tea. Great concept just needs to improve quality of food to match the price.

Recommended by the Bedford Hotel where we always stay when visiting Regency Sidmouth for "the best Devonshire cream tea." Quality jam and cream is presented in proper dishes, not prepacked in hideous plastic containers. A generous supply although we have had better scones but still worth a visit. "A destination in itself."🇬🇧🇳🇿

Great lunchtime visit today. Excellent value, warm, welcoming atmosphere, good food and good coffee. 2 children (4+6) were happy to play on the equipment whilst their grownups chatted and sad to leave at the end of our slot.

As soon as you step through the door you know the place is well run; with the shop shelves beautifully stacked. All the prices were very reasonable too. Like the shop, the cafe was spotless where we enjoyed coffee that was full of flavour, but not bitter. It was obvious the whole business was being well looked after and clients were made very welcome.
