A family birthday celebration. Great atmosphere, lovely surroundings and great food. The staff were lovely and I'll be back again soon.

Really rude older lady hostess who had the audacity to shush my grandma and her friend whilst they were having a catch-up! Absolutely appalling behaviour by a member of staff - the lady could've handled the situation much more politely but both ladies are deaf so genuinely weren't aware if they were being loud. So so rude and appalling service.

Another great little venue, cost and very friendly team. Food is wholesome and tasty from a good scale menu. Very handy spot bang in the middle of the village so it’s easy for parking. Loved the whole package really and desserts were great also.

Very friendly and efficient staff. My Carbonara arrived on a cold plate and had to be sent back to be reheated. It was replaced with a very runny, sickly tasting Carbonara once again on a cold plate. I couldn't finish it. Cheesy garlic bread didn't have any garlic taste to it. Very disappointing.

Take away usually excellent. However, this time undercooked, too thick, poor topping on Pizza. Left most of it. V disappointed.

I come here often with family/friends, food is always beautiful and the staff are excellent! Portion sizes are ridiculously big, always save extra for my lunch the next day at work.

Visited Stokesley for the market but after my visit spotted sign outside for special breakfast including hot drink for only £6.95 (served til -2). It was 11am so I popped in. Great service and very good value tasty breakfast. I would definitely pop in again at any time.

Great service, lovely atmosphere BUT it looks like they are trying to keep costs down to offer starter & main for £16.95. My wife had a lovely chicken dish but my Kiev Parmo was way too thin and definitely overcooked to the point of being rock hard and burnt. The kitchen need to understand that thinner meats take less time to cook. Probably won’t go back as there are some lovely eateries in Stokesley just wish Uno could match up.

Staff were very unhelpful, we asked for a larger table rather than a small two seater. We were Tod there there was not not one available but none of the four seater tables were occupied during our time in the restaurant wish was disappointing

We visited Uno Momento in Stokesley for breakfast. The waiting/bar staff were friendly, seated us and took our order. Drinks came quickly and the breakfast wait wasn't bad. However, when the breakfast arrived we were pretty disappointed; nothing was hot, the beans were dry and clumpy, we got 2 small mushrooms and pre buttered toast with margarine, rather than butter; the worst part was the fried eggs, 2 eggs slopped onto the plate, broken yolks and snotty white, literally inedible. The waiting staff did discount our breakfast to account for this and they were definitely not at fault. Its a shame as the restaurant itself is canny, but due to this experience will not return.

Phoned in an order to collect. Super easy with a very acceptable collection time. Pizza, pineapple burger and chicken with gluten free pasta A sirloin steak. Very tasty and cooked to perfection the side salads were a lovely surprise. No hassle trouble free experience. Staff who took the telephone order and served the food were so friendly and attentive. Love to go back..

Went here for date night on a Wednesday evening after pre booking our table. It was busy when we arrived and service from staff was friendly and efficient. Food was great, we had bruchetta and caprese salad, seafood and prawn pasta for mains which we thoroughly enjoyed, perfect amount of time between each course. Was a lovely atmosphere for a date night and we would definitely go back, great value for money too.

Just had Sunday lunch here and without doubt the worst we've ever had. We've eaten Sunday Lunch at loads of places over the years, some fantastic, others not so good but this one has to rank as the worst. Pretty sure non of the food served is cooked fresh on the premises. Can't comment on the Italian menu but if you're looking for a tasty Sunday lunch avoid this like the plague.

1 front of house staff running around, too busy alone even with only a few tables in the restaurant. Friendly service however slow and lack of attentiveness. No 2nd drinks offered etc.Food was borderline inedible. Bruschetta soggy garlic bread with cold tomatoes then grilled hot cheese on top just didn’t work.Pasta dishes just like mush, raw big chunks of white onion in carbonara was not nice. Parmo burned and dry.The staff were too busy clearly so we didn’t bother to complain, rather just paid and left.Wait times were also unacceptable. 1 hour after starters to mains, whilst tables next to us received their mains straight after their starters????The chef was “too busy with delivery orders” - my advice would not operate a restaurant if you want to operate a takeaway, or at least staff appropriately. Very poor, won’t be returning.

Called the restaurant mid afternoon to book a table for 6. Advised it would be best if we could turn up at 7. The restaurant was very busy, fantastic decor, a great vibe with quiet Italian music playing in the background, loud enough you could hear the words but quiet enough that you could hold a conversation without having to raise your voice.Service - first rate, very courteous staff that frequently checked everything was ok. Food - we had a mixture if starters, the garlic breads are delicious, as are the chilli mussels. Between us we order pizza, pasta and chicken for our mains. I have never seen such a range of chicken escalope dishes. I had the Pollo.Supremo - very tasty and the thick cut chips were awesome. Can't recommend this restaurant enough. We will be going back again soon, but maybe give them a bit more notice next time!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL…. Had a meal here recently with family… waited ages for meals and when they eventually did arrive (at different times) some were wrong, some were cold and a couple were even uncooked,….. not kidding, it was dreadful. They obviously have a serious issue in the kitchen. We spoke to 2 separate male waiters about this and they were both very abrupt and didn’t seem care at all… I’m surprised this restaurant is still open. We certainly won’t be back!..

Visited for a late lunch yesterday and had the good value set lunch with a starter and a pizza or pasta for less than £9. Very good value and the place was busy when we visited. The service, while not particularly friendly, was swift. Ordered soup of the day which was tomato & basil & halloumi/ goat's cheese as starters. The portions were generous and it was nicely presented. The soup was tasty but had a slightly medicinal taste. It was served with a slice of bread with pesto & some grated mozzarella on the side. The halloumi & goat's cheese dish had some walnuts & honey on the side. For mains we had a tagliatelle dish and a lasagne. Again, large portions and served piping hot. Chicken in the tagliatelle dish was a bit dry and while there was alot of cheese and pasta on the lasagne, there wasn't alot of meat. In general, the pasta for both dishes seemed too overcooked and soft so the texture wasn't great & it was all a bit mushy. While the lunch was very good value for the amount you get, the quality & flavour was pretty average.

We visited Uni Momento during our trip to Stokesley as we fancied somewhere casual. I will say that the food was ok, albeit a little under seasoned. But the service… quite frankly I am shocked at what we witnessed. The young waiter seemed to be quite surprised that people would require some service from him and looked very put out that he had to be there. I put this down to inexperience and I wasn’t too upset by it. The manageress on duty however, was a different story. She was abrupt, rude and defensive. She lacked the most basic customer service skills so I don’t think the staff that she manages will have much chance of improving their own skills with her overseeing them. I was so embarrassed to see how she spoke to a young couple who arrived at the restaurant at 8:30pm asking if they could be squeezed in for a table. They couldn’t have been made to feel less welcome and if I were them, I would have walked out. With the current staff I really don’t see how this restaurant can survive. The food is average and we left the restaurant feeling really negative and upset. If I owned this restaurant then I would shake things up fast! There are better places in the area and by the looks of other reviews, you are losing customers very rapidly! We would never come back here if we were to visit the area again.

This place used to be great however it appears to have gone down hill. A massive hill.I visited with a family member, we sat down and received menus. After a long wait we were asked what we wanted to drink then finally our meal choices. These orders were taken by a young guy who obviously wasn’t interested and didn’t want to be there. It seemed like everything was a chore and I almost felt bad for ordering food… at a restaurant. Our starters came, which weren’t great. The prawn cocktail came with two slices of white bread smothered in margarine. I ordered the prawns in breadcrumbs which tasted like cheap frozen prawns thrown onto some salad leaves which looked like they’d been around for a while. Still no sign of the drinks. Having ate the starters and also asked for our drinks again they still didn’t come. So we asked another person for more drinks, these finally turned up after being offered the the table behind us. It seemed each waiter had a different table number system and none of them knew where food/drinks were going. Over an hour had passed and we still hadn’t received our main. We politely asked how long until it would be ready as we noticed more people had came in after us and were already receiving their food. The guy I asked didn’t give me much of a reply and went and spoke to his colleagues behind the till, I could see they had either forgot to put our order through or they had given our order to a different table. After asking again how long the food would be they were insistent it was getting plated up in the kitchen and even asked if I would like to go and have a look, which I declined. Eventually the food arrived, or half of it did. I ordered half pizza half pasta which is a deal the restaurant does. What arrived was my pasta In a bowl next to three tiny slices of pizza which I could tell the waiter was embarrassed to serve as he excited quickly after putting the plate down. Also still no drinks…In the end I asked for the bill and explained that we weren’t happy with the service or the food and that we’d had to ask numerous times for things we’ve ordered and that we were still waiting for the drinks we had ordered when we first arrived The waitress I spoken to did apologise and when I asked to pay for the starters which did turn up she explained we did not have to pay due to the service we had received. I won’t be going back.

Chicken on parmo was veiny and foul. Service sadly strange, young inexperienced staff who clearly hadn’t had any training on the basics. Waited 20 minutes for a round of coffees while other people were getting their pints. Poor unfortunately, won’t be returning.

Not everyone owns a smart mobile to read QR codes... Young staff lacking training and direction, eventually we received our coffees over 30 minutes wait, toasted teacakes 15 mins later which were poor offerings... Staff wearing face masks too over their mouth and not their nose ! Failed on any measurement a terrible experience !

This place ruined my daughters 18th birthday, pre-ordered food was wrong. 5 of my party were left without food whilst others had been served. The food was cold and chicken nuggets were frozen. The waitress was great but was let down by the poor quality of food. Emailed my complaint before posting this hoping we could address the issues especially as my bill was over £500. Never even acknowledged my email. I will never go back and neither of my 26 guests will either ( socially distances tables of 6).

Visited for the first time for breakfast, service VERY slow, coffee machine not working in an Italian! Poor quality ingredients, eggs not cooked, toast not toasted, won’t be back based on today!

Ordered a takeaway through Justeat, it arrived over an hour later than requested; chased the delivery up twice, on one occasion we were told it would be with us in 10 minutes another 30 minutes later after chasing again it finally arrived. Food was tepid; cannot recommend the takeaway service at all.

Ordered take away and they arrived when they said they would if not a little before and the pizza was excellent so delicious made with care would definitely order again.

Booked a table arrived and surprised only 2 in restaurant waited 15 mins to take order by very rough female with attitude- still waiting 45 mins later for starter safe to say we walked out. Think her and her school friend were happy sat at the bar filling themselves on Pepsi- Appalling

Ordered off just eat said it would be here for 6.45 came to 7pm it still hadn't arrived so rang restaurant they said it will be with you shortly understand its a Saturday night but 20 minutes after that call it still hadn't arrived so called back and she said I will be with you in 10 minutes I said not good enough so she put the phone down on me that is very bad customer service if its going to be late you should at least let people no then I would of understood but when food arrived it was cold what a waste of money not happyI think you need to stop doing delivery service and just stick to serving food in restaurantDefinitely won't be using you again

Visited the Stokesley Uno for a change. The waiter and waitress on shift were absolutely lovely and very accommodating. We ordered garlic bread for a starter and it was HUGE! But very tasty - portion sizes are always great for the price at Uno. We also had main courses and desserts and the food was all very nice. The restaurant was very quiet (perhaps because it was a week night, or because it was right before lockdown), but I liked this - better than it being too busy. Covid measures were in place and staff were enforcing them (e.g. two people sitting at one side of the table if another table was close by) which was good to see. The service was slightly slow despite there not being many people in, but this wasn't really a problem for us - it gave us chance to have a proper chat and let our food settle in between courses! Overall had a lovely meal!

We found Uno Momento in Stokesley via Google Maps and decided to give it a try.It was welcoming, convenient and relatively inexpensive - food was ok and the place was ok so ticks the boxes for a quick supper, but not where you'd go expecting things to be special. Staff were quirky but so are we so we were happy with our experience.

Good food, although the service was a little slow and the waiters were distracted. Were accommodating when we needed a seat for a disabled person. Will definitely be back

Arrived to collect our food takeout 5 minutes before the time we were told to collect but the pizza was still cold.

Terribly disappointing however not surprising. This is the 2nd Uno Momento I have been to and both times I have commented on the service received. The first time was a year ago in Darlington and I had hoped that was a one off, at that location but clearly it wasn't. One of our guests required Gluten Free, having already contacted the restaurant before visiting she ordered options to suit her dietary requirements and the baby potatoes, as she was told that was the option as the wedges weren't gluten free. After placing our order the waiter came to advise her that there was no baby potatoes, to which she asked if there were any other Gluten Free options, well that was it, he absolutely lost the plot. At first we agreed that she should have advised him because of Cross contamination etc and understood his concerns but he then came and she asked for a gluten free pasta instead of the chicken and potatoes she had originally ordered (only 5 mins prior) and after he belittled her like a naughty school child about how she should have told him she required gluten free, he stormed off and offered her no alternative to the potaoes or allowed her to order something different, gluten free. He then returned to advise her she was not allowed the potato skins she ordered (she knows her limits etc) and offered her no alternative, again belittling her like a child. Then he proceeded to bring the other 3 starters out and pointed at her like a naughty child and said 'you're not allowed to eat any of this'!!????? I appreciate it wasn't gluten free but that was very rude and who does he think he is to tell her what she can and cannot do! I assume we were black listed or something as we also ordered 2 more lagers which after 20 mins never came and we were told that the previous waitress who took the order had finished her shift, like this was a plausible excuse for poor service, does that make it okay? The mains then came out, which 2 of 4 were nice however our gluten free member literally got a peice of chicken on a plate with salad! Had it not been eat out to help out we would have refused to pay for that lousy excuse of a meal, especially as she had been refused a starter!!! Another member ordered a risotto, which came out like cream of cream soup!! He has wanted the seafood one but was advised this one was better (clearly the restaurant had ran out of seafood as well as baby potatoes) and what he got had absolutely no flavour and was just rice in a cream soup! Not at all like risotto! The waiters attitude really ruined our whole night, we appreciate she should have explained however she is well aware of what she can and cannot tolerate and so does not expect to be belittled like that in a restaurant full of people! The only waiter that was nice was the young man who cleared our table at the end and apologised for our disappointment, it clearly wasn't his fault and he had been great when the other waiter was suppsoed to be getting our extra chips that never came and got them for us! We will never visit again, never experienced service like it and it would seem it wasn't a one off for one Uno Momento and so will also never visit another of the chains in the area. I will be telling everyone about our disgusting experience and hope they too do not visit, not what you expect when going for a meal out.

Initially started well, friendly and helpful when placing the order even though some have food allergies and they were able to accommodate this.Sadly when the person collected goods and returned with food we hadn’t ordered and had been charged for, things started to go wrong.Poor levels of customer service when things go wrong. We’d asked for Parmesan cheese in a pot, to go with the spag bol & they’d interpreted that to be a chicken Parma? I rang to explain and ask for a refund on what we hadn’t ordered, a perfectly reasonable request & advised they can come and collect the unwanted food. Manager/Owner not sure which it was, wanted us to return it to get the refund? Sorry but it’s your error, you need to put things right. Member of staff spoke to manager & used the words ‘we f**ked up’ when trying to get him to allow the refund and the food to be binned. I refused to return the goods, advising they can collect and then the lady sorting the error accuses me of having a bad attitude.

We didn't book and called in on off chance, we were seated quickly, friendly staff. Didn't wait long for a food. We picked the specials and was impressed by freshness, value and taste.All of us were impressed with our starters and mains. The pizzas are huge. Would definitely go back. Good value.

Been to other Uno's, we were wandering around Stokesley and came across this one. As hunger had struck we popped in for a quick bite of lunch, this is the smallest one we've been in. Shown to a table, in the front window.. bonus, people watching time. Drinks ordered, with a couple of omlettes, Enjoyed the meal and the view.Finished off with an excellent tiramisu/

Taking advantage of the EOTHO scheme, we revisited this old favourite restaurant. Pollo Dolce Vita for madam, and pollo Milano for myself. Still yummy, but a bit less so than on other occasions, as my pollo was frazzled black around the edges, and the side salad had been prepared so far in advance, the lettuce had gone brown. The sticky toffee pudding was more light sponge than sticky, but wifey raved about the lemon gelato. I make it sound bad, but on the whole, it was an enjoyable meal, even though it could have been better.

Visited with family for the second time. There was hand gel to use at the door and all staff were wearing masks. Our food was delicious and perfectly cooked with full tummies all round 🙂

Have been to this restaurant quite a few times and always found the food and service good. However ate there last night and was disappointed. Although the food was good there was very little in the way of coronavirus safety precautions. We had to stand and wait for our table between 2 others where people were eating which was definitely less than 1 metre distance. The staff didn't hurry to seat us they were just stood near the bar area talking. We were then asked if we had booked, the waiter went away then came back and showed us to our table, all the time 5 of us were stood very close to people eating. Once seated there were customers coming in for takeaway orders stood about where we were sat, some without masks. The cutlery was just handed to us where in other restaurants its wrapped in serviettes and not touched. There was a small hand sanitiser unit on the wall near the door which I noticed on the way out but this should be on the wall outside to use before entering. Didn't feel comfortable at all and it will be some time before we return.

Food really good as usual. Service was good . Only downfall was that I felt that the tables were a bit close for comfort not leaving much space for staff to manoeuvre with food

After seeing the Happy Hour offer for this place, I decided to give it a try as it sounded too good to be true... and it was. The worst part of the meal was the penne Alfredo. It was bland, stodgy and most likely microwaved due to having hot spots. I informed our waiter about this and the kitchen were truly adamant that it was my fault when it was pretty much inedible. The waiter we had became rather confrontational and kept sending over a perfectly pleasant young lady who was stuck in the middle to tell me what he said. This is a shocking way of treating staff as it appeared to me that the man who was “head waiter” couldn’t be bothered to sort it himself. After much deliberation I did get a 50% discount for the penne Alfredo, however this does not compensate for the confrontational approach used to deal with a perfectly valid customer complaint. If you want a microwave meal go three doors upto the Coop.

Visited last week with my family. I appreciate this is a small restaurant but no effort had been made to move any tables and make the place feel more spacious or its customers safe. Tables either side of us were empty but we weren't there at peak time. I assume that customers would not be sat on the next table as you are not 2 metres apart.No staff had facemasks or visors which I dont think is acceptable at the moment, especially as they cant stand 2 metres away and take your order.I couldn't wait to get out which is a shame because as usual the food was good.

Opposite the hotel I stayed in but should not have eaten in this place is cheap and cheerful.Usually busy certain things are great. Pizza - you can’t go wrong. Best in the area. Pasta - sometimes soggy but usually very good. Seafood - in the main avoid.The wine lists OK. Again if you are after something top notch you will be disappointed but that’s not what this place is about.I will go,back for sure.

We’ve just received a takeout from UNO’s in Stokesley, and it was absolutely delicious. Hot, tasty food and we were really happy with the price. Don’t hesitate to order, and we will 100% be back through the door when it opens again next week!

I visited this place twice. Pizza is the best in Stokesley. Seafood is quite bad for anywhere. Pasta good, portions good, price good. Service mainly good. Pasta was dire the second time I went. They did rectify but still not great. Would I go again ? Yes.

Amazing food, reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere and excellent service from Summer. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never been disappointed.

Visited early evening was quiet but soon filled up. They do great two course happy hour deals, all night mon-thu. we had two courses for £13.95. Garlic mushrooms were amazing. Chicken Parmo was gorgeous. Friendly Service too.

We hadn't been to Uno Momento for a while so went to Stokesley last Saturday and arrived around 4;30PM. Quite a few people already in so we were lucky to get a table having not pre booked. Black pudding with goat's cheese for starter and bolognaise wedges, wonderful.Half & half pizza & pasta dish was full of flavour , beautifully presented and piping hot. Husband had a chicken dish which looked delicious. Skipped dessert as we were too full. Lots of locals coming in for takeaway dishes whilst we were there which tells you how good the food is.

Today we called to have a look around Stokesley and we called in to UNO MOMENTO fopr lunch. There was an extensive menu from main meals including pastas, Steaks,breakfasts, pitsas. Toasties, Panninis, snacks, cold sandwiches ,scones etc.A very good atmosphere. Staff friendly and welcoming. The place was nice and clean and had a good atmosphere. It was pretty busy with a steady stream of customers coming and going and it was obvious by the comments that there was a lot od regulars customers calling inTo top it all the parking in the main square was free.

Just visited this little gem for the 1st time today, what can I say but amazing.From entering to leaving the service was 1st class.The food was piping hot, top quality and the prices are unbelievable.Hubby had a mixed omelette it was HUGE, everyone commented they were going to have it next time lol.Can't believe we've not been here, but most certainly it wont be last.Thank you

Firstly the menu choices, food quality and value for money was excellent. Unfortunately tonight the service was a bit erratic. Not sure if it was a unexpected busy night and they got caught out but the service was hot and miss. Too few staff, rushing round, doing too much at once and forgetting things on the way. We were not in a rush and it would not put me off going again.

Visited here a few times with family. Never have a bad word to say about the food as it is beautiful and excellent value for money. But staff on the other hand are disappointing a young female waitress with tattoos decided to have a go at another young waitress but I noticed this only happened with the male waiter was not in the restaurant bit upsetting to see the young girl looking upset!

We were 2 couples, and we all had something different, and we all enjoyed our food. Very generous portions and the house wine is good too. The staff are very pleasant.

Went here as last minute decision. We’ve eaten here before and always busy and good food. Was extremely quiet due to the weather. Ordered starters, good, then got main course. Filet steak. Asked for medium, cut into it and was rare, very rare as in not cooked. Took it back re cooked same steak, disappointed. One point would make is new girl in there is very good and extremely polite.

Went to UNO’s at Stokesley today cannot complain about the food it was beautiful, but can’t say the same about the young staff member who had a serious rude attitude towards another female staff member

Last night we had a Hot Shot Parmo and it was "amazing" tasty and the chicken was so nice. Salad was lovely. Didn't book but went early and got a table no problems. Staff very eager to please.

Visited Stokesley restaurant various times with family and friends and never had any problems or never been disappointed until today!! I was sat on a table with others close to the bar to hear shouting coming from the kitchen, to then verbally hear and see a young waitress standing at the till use disgusting verbal language at another member of staff, another older member of staff asked her to calm down for the girl to further raise her voice and arms to the staff member. The young girl had no respect towards her work team or customers. Been discussed by the behaviour of the girl we rush our food which had no faults, due to this experience unfortunately I will not be returning any time in the near future.

Not sure if it was because it was the Christmas period so busy as my last visit I was disappointed with my food. Had pizza and wasn't to usual standard.

Lovely breakfast served with a pot of tea or a filter coffee for £4.95 - very fresh and nicely presented.

Called in at lunchtime today as we saw the blackboard outside advertising scone or toasted tea cake, pot of tea for £3:95.

My husband and I ate here and we weren’t disappointed, staff and service excellent! We both had starters formaggio carne ( black pudding) and Patata bolognese ( loaded wedges) followed by pollo dolce latte( chicken with blue cheese sauce) and pollo cremonese ( chicken and prawns with a pineapple and chilli sauce) my husband thoroughly enjoyed this dish so much so that he wanted to let the chef know. The chef was only too happy to describe in detail the recipe. Now I’ll have to attempt to match it ! Thank you for a lovely evening, look forward to coming back. If you haven’t been to this restaurant it’s definitely worth a visit

I met a friend here for a relaxed Saturday lunchtime catch up and we were not disappointed. The menu is extensive, there absolutely must be something for everyone. Italian classics, modern Italian cuisine and lots of seafood, chicken & steak dishes. The portions are very generous and the food is very good, descriptions on the menu are very helpful, you can be sure you’re getting what you order. Great wine list, a few bottles of a good red accompanied our delicious lunch. Staff were great too, friendly, helpful and on hand when needed. I had a lovely time and I’m very much looking forward to returning.

Popped in here on a Thursday night for tea as wanted a night off from cooking. Staff friendly, food good value and tasty and great choice of drinks. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The Italian food has always been really nice. The staff are very friendly. The restaurant is always busy so book in advance. Because it's busy the service is very quick so you don't get time between courses to enjoy your meal. It seems to me very rushed in order to free the table for the next customer. The house wine is quite pleasant and I'd recommend it! I wish they'd buy a new CD. Every time I've been in they play Bob Marley!! Fortunately I like Bob, but not on a continuous loop and on every visit!!
