We came in for the Beef Wellington for my partner’s birthday, and while we were disappointed they’d ran out of that & the porterhouse the service well made up for it! We were provided with a free selection of desserts and glass of bubbly to make up for our disappointment, which we greatly appreciated! The steaks we ended up getting were absolutely amazing, really recommend the bone marrow sauce.

So slow! When I arrived the manager seemed quite rude and shooed me away to deal with another group. Then we asked for fast service as we had theatre reservations but it took half an hour for some starters and chips. Food was meh but so expensive!

I’ve been to other restaurants and paid almost the same for one slice of beef wellington. Didn’t realise this was a whole wellington between two people. Takeaway it was

Great service but the food was average. Had the pork belly main which the meat itself was lovely but the rest (fries, honey roasted carrots and cabbage) were unseasoned so quite bland. The dessert was delicious (chocolate fondant)

Had an amazing meal at Bread Street - Southwark. The food was simply amazing. And a big thank you to our waiter Matteo for his recommendations. I’m always up to try different G&Ts and with Matteo’s suggestion we tried the Murcian lemon and Japanese, both of which were gorgeous. The pork belly and the rib eye steak were cooked to perfection and the duck salad so tasty. The portion sizes are not big but the flavours are and even after a dessert of sticky toffee pudding and coconut sorbet, both myself and partner left having had good, well cooked, flavour-filled food without feeling uncomfortably full. But once again thank you Matteo for being attentive without being intrusive. Not the cheapest meal but still a very enjoyable evening out.

Arrived on time. Waited over 5 minutes to be greeted at the door - seemingly being studiously ignored by various team members - and was then told to wait at the bar whilst a table for 3 was prepared - before eventually being showed to a table for 6 or 7 that had been vacant the entire time my party was asked to wait. Our food order was eventually taken some 15 to 20 minutes after we’d been given the menus / and only after I had asked if anyone could take our order. Felt strangely unwelcome. The food was fine - and as there certainly seemed no urgency to seat and serve us we ended up taking our time over the meal and having a very relaxed catch up.

The food was shockingly bad. Small portions, overpriced and poor quality. The service was very average. Definitely won’t be returning. I’d recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Our first visit since the name change. A disappointing check-in, we waited several minutes for anyone to bother seeing to us. A comfortable table, we ordered from the full menu. There was little amongst the starters we fancied - but the olives and bread were very good. The mains were OK without being exciting, cod and raviolini. A glass of Chardonnay was excellent - and the price knocked off because of the delay at check in which was nice.

Excellent food, thoroughly enjoyed. Food is absolutely good value for money.

A full house, with insufficient staff. Those that were on duty, seemed to work hard, but were unable to cater for a busy New Year’s Eve crowd. Repeated requests for tap water, were greeted with an ok, but nothing arrived. We dine in London frequently and this was our worst experience by some distance.

To be honest, I enjoy that night out. I found no fault with this place: the food is excellent and Pavel service was on top!

Service was aggressive/rude, every time they poured wine they spilled it and never apologised. Glasses were dirty. Food took a LONG time, kids meal took 1.5hrs, overpriced wine and food just mediocre. Very disappointing. Also the sinks in the toilet were broken with no hot water running. Will not return.

Everything was as you will expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, food and service and the attention on details was absolutely fantastic. We’ve been seated at the bar as our table was not ready yet and all for the best as Cristian our bartender drinks were spectacular. We will be back!

When we arrived we had a sit at the bar for a couple of drinks and a nice chat with the barman. Amazing food and service, and the set menu was brilliant.

Came back with a friend from abroad and it was magnificent as before! The food and the drink top notch as always, we had a pick on the open kitchen and it’s definitely something else, one of London best. Also the maitre de turned our dining into an experience.

I came here with my partner, we arrived early for the booking and decided to get a drink at the bar. Bartender and waitress service was fab, as was the food. The female manager/maitre de on the other hand really brought the level of service down. The greeting was pretty hostile and awkward about seating early despite the restaurant being empty. When we did sit, she gave us 1 menu for 2 people which our waitress duly corrected. Overall her attitude seemed to be she was too good to serve us which brought the exemplary service from other staff down. Food was great, we had tamarind chicken wings which were delicious, butter chicken and baked cod, all delicious.

The food was tasty and well cooked but it was served on stone cold plates so that it cooled very quickly and was unpleasantly cold to eat when only half way through. Very disappointing, especially as we were very hungry because the service had been very slow.

Stumbled upon this place, Wonderful service and atmosphere, great for kids lunch, good selection of pizzas and drinks. Federico is fabulous too! Super clean bathrooms!

We were treated like VIP, very good service! We were told when the starters were about to be served. The food itself was excellent as well, the dishes were at perfect temperature. Very tasty! I do highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

We have dined at this restaurant numerous times over the years but this is the first time for about 5 years as we now live in Dorset. It just gets better and better. Food brilliant, ambiance brilliant, service brilliant. Thank heavens you still serve the curry and sticky toffee pudding. It is worth visiting just for those. I regret that I did not ask the name of our young manager but his attentiveness and humour certainly added to our enjoyment.

Arrived in the pouring rain so absolutely drenched. Not greeted at door. No offer of help to take our wet coats. Had to hang them on the stairs behind our seat. Staff were friendly when they were serving us but getting their attention in a virtually empty restaurant was a challenge. Had to ask for cutlery as table for four had only 3 lots. Was bought cutlery but no serviette. Attention to detail from staff sadly lacking. For the price of the food and with the Gordon Ramsay name, expected a lovely dining experience but that was sadly not the case. Food was good and have no complaints at all about that but considering they automatically whack on a 15% service charge, would have expected excellent customer service.

Went for a virgin experience set menu. The staff were really nice but they couldn’t get anything right. They brought white instead of red wine. The chef forgot the tofu in the bsk poke ball even though the meal comes with tofu without any additions and it took 25 mins to get the bill even though they took all our dishes and glasses and we sat in our coats. They also only had 2 other tables for a staff of 3. For a free meal we still ended up paying over 40 pounds because of service charge, bad wine and they gave us a six pound bottle of water we didn’t want. Would never come back again. Food was alright but not the standard of Gordon Ramsey we expected.

The Butter Chicken Curry is delicious! Christian welcomed me and provided excellent service and recommendations. The Old Fashioned, made by Christin, was delicious. The execution was on point. Exactly what I would expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.

The food at Bread Street Kitchen was very good if a bit on the small side. Service was efficient if a little slow at times but we were not in a hurry so that didn't matter. Overall a nice evening with good food.

Such a nice experience, Beef Wellington wonderful. We ended up with monkey shoulder cheesecake with Chambord liqueur!!!!’ that was an explosion of flavours in our tongue. Highly recommended. Iannis and Cristian were very friendly and They gave us very good recommendations. ;)

Where to start? The waiter with body odour who didn't speak English? The sticky floor and table? The wobbly table and gale force air con blowing on us all evening? Or the long list of items on the menu that weren't available (including the beef wellington). The overpriced wine was a huge disappointment too. What an absolute waste of a LOT of money. My son has been looking forward to going to a Gordon Ramsey for months and it was a huge letdown for him. Gordon will be laughing all the way to the bank. Not recommended at all.

I just went to the Liverpool branch for dinner the other day! I was so impressed with the environment and the quality of the food! Especially the Beef Wellington, it’s fantastic! So I came back to London and immediately went to share this delicious dish with my family! Unfortunately, I was disappointed this time. Firstly, this famous Beef Wellington tastes completely different to what you get in Liverpool. I wonder if the taste in the south is saltier! Beef only tastes salty! No meaty taste! The mashed potatoes on the side were very salty! Later, the restaurant manager politely changed my carrots for me, but the taste was still salty! Other food can be said to be of average quality! I am very disappointed with this experience! Because this time I only have a week to spend with my family in the UK! I specially brought my family here to eat this Wellington beef tenderloin! This was a wrong choice for me! This is what this experience felt like! It seems like you are a very famous restaurant, so you don’t take quality seriously at all!

Fantastic lunch experience at Bread Street kitchen & bar. In love with the spicy tuna tartare as starter and the beef Wellington as full main. I love Gordon Ramsey so I had to go to one of his restaurants when visiting London. However, this was a rough experience. First of all it was SO HOT in the restaurant we were fanning ourselves with the menus and considering leaving because nobody likes eating in hot and humid conditions. We went at 7:15pm and there were only 2 other tables dining. We sat down and ordered water which took 16 minutes for our server to come back and to not have the water. We watched 2 other groups come in and they were served drinks and water before we were. The waitress did not know about the food menu items when asked prior to ordering. We got the cider and onion soup which was pretty sweet with a thick texture and the spinach cannelloni. You couldn’t really taste the cannelloni because it had so much cheese covering the entire thing. I love cheese, but this was so much it took away from the dish. It still tasted good, but this wasn’t a “Gordon Ramsey” restaurant experience I was looking forward to.

So disappointed. Booked the brunch for 6 for a special event. Take note the ‘Experience’ is misleading for bottomless brunch. It’s £25 plus £30. Food arrived at separate times, smashed avo and eggs came minus eggs….so sent back then came back with eggs but sourdough was inedible. Waffles were cold - and we were told they should be ‘warm’, toffee pudding came out as toffee waffles…. Sent back… toffee pudding came cold. All in all a disaster and so disappointing. Gordon Ramsey has his own Kitchen nightmare here! The waiter was charming but the other staff blamed everyone else and apologies felt insincere - we did get money off eventually but our special occasion was ruined. The place was pretty empty - sign of how poor this place is I guess? I never leave bad reviews normally but the 6 of us were very let down by it all.

Considering there was hardly anyone in the restaurant, the service was dismal. Drinks arrived and were just being placed on front of one of the kids (including our cocktails), no effort to tell us which cocktail was which of take of around the table to the person whose drink it was. Asked for water, noons brought that over. Mains were mediocre. Dessert was lovely.

It’s a lovely space but the service and food weren’t as good as I’d expect for the price. Haphazard service, forgotten orders and missed off items. E.g my husband had to tell staff strawberries were missing from a dessert when she insisted that dessert didn’t have strawberries even though it was on the menu. She came back with strawberries after checking… one main came out 10 minutes after the others, had to refill wine glasses ourselves and mixed still and sparking water in the same glasses. Great food ruined by donkey service! What can I say besides I’m disappointed. The food was outstanding yet ruined by horrifically slow and a lethargic team. Fifteen minutes passed before anyone came to take our order. When the server arrived she asked if we were ready to order. I had to ask about drinks! She then said ok, drinks first and we proceeding with our order. I knew if we didn’t order at that moment we would wait another 15’. Then ten+ minutes passed and still no drinks. In fact, the bread came before the drinks. I asked to grab them myself at the bar. Only then they came out. BTW, be careful, the bread price is per two rolls, so we got charged for three bread orders for our party of six. So £12 for bread. Sad. Water too. That is £5.50 each so three for six. What used to be free is no more. Nonetheless, I get it and I paid. Just a warning. The food was delicious as expected. Chicken curry. Yum. Burger. Spot on. Lamb, perfect. The best wings I’ve ever tasted. Tamarind seasoning. All so good but like I said, ruined as we had to wait and wait for it all. Dessert was skipped as the server didn’t seem to care. Part of me thinks they are not incentivized because service is included but come on, you make more by pushing more and making us feel welcome to drink some cocktails. Maybe the St. Paul’s location is better. This one, do take away if you can.
