Popped in after a lovely walk on Tweswldown for a drink and something to eat. Food was great and a good selection. Service was excellent too. Will be back again for sure.

Only sat in the garden but went through pub to the bar. All staff I encountered were friendly and talkative. Looked clean. The food I saw being served looked good. Sat inside this time. Took my dog. He was very popular. The place had a respectable number of customers. Quite a few dogs. Will go there again.

I found myself at a loose end and in need of Sunday lunch. We’ve been drinking in the pub for years but this was an opportunity to eat. A lovely pie, mash and veg - absolutely delicious. The staff were so nice too.

*Dog friendly* At a very reasonable £10.95 you get a Sunday roast with all the trimmings and a roast dinner bowl for your dog. The staff and pub are not just dog friendly but true dog lovers and happy to bestow that love onto your pooch. And why the hell not!!! Definitely going back. This has become our new Sundày regular. Lovely veg options too.

Yeah it's ok, nothing flashy just good old pub food with an average choice of beers, could be Better on beer and food is ok but well presented and ok. Atmosphere is whatever as kids party when we were there. Which I suppose for some people that's great, for me not so much, but that's life.

Nice location for finishing up after a walk. Dogs allowed. Not sure about GF it says ask on menu. Great music playing in the back ground. Saw the Sunday roast looks delicious and only £13.99

Have lived in Fleet for a decade and never been in here, but after walking for a couple of hours in the morning over Caesar's Camp with the family and dog, we decided to detour away from the car and try this for some quick food. The service was really friendly, the guys serving and behind the bar were really good - our dog was happy in the corner with a dog biscuit from the bar and our son was equally as happy and we all felt comfortable and at ease despite looking like hiking messes! Food and drinks were reasonably priced and we enjoyed our lunch - now we've finally been in, we'll be in again after a walk. Can't beat a dog friendly establishment.

We met at this pub after attending a funeral. I found the service at the bar to be slow. I purchased one and a half pints of Guinness for £9.30 I didn't object due to the reason I was there but found this price to be excessive, I did not visit the bar a second time.

Lovely Sunday lunch with family and our dog. We were offered a free dog roast dinner so cute! We were super impressed by the kind gesture and service. Highly recommend for a family get together. Reasonably priced and good hot food! Wonderful service, we were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend.

We were a very large group that had pre-booked most of the pub for lunch. We were eating from the Christmas menu. Despite the large numbers, the staff coped admirably and service was very good. We found the staff friendly and welcoming. Think good, honest pub grub rather than gastro food. Portions were a sensible size. My husband said his steak was the best he'd had in a long time, even from much more expensive restaurants. We shall definitely return to sample the regular menu.

The Tweseldown is a great local pub ant eatery. The food was enjoyed by all of us and the service was very good. The food arrived fairly quickly and was very good.

I visited today with a friend for lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A cosy warm atmosphere in the pub. The menu offers a good choice of food with a separate specials menu. I choose a steak and ale pie with mash and veg which came with a jug of gravy. It was very delicious. My friend choose a different pie but we were both very happy and satisfied with our meals. We didn't have a dessert because we were both very full. We will be returning to sample sonething else on the menu.

Fantastic looking country pub, clean and friendly staff, but let down on food. Family of 3 visited the pub, can’t fault the staff for being extra friendly. Ordered chicken platter meal at £16.49 and was very disappointed, the main chicken breast portion size was so small that it was cut in two and each portion was s mouthful. Around 15 chunky chips, 2 chicken goujons and 3 small chicken wings with 2 onion rings and a 3/4 of s corn on the cob. The wife on the other hand, had the fish platter, a full size cod in batter, a fish cake, 3 scampi and two sides of peas and tartar sauce, chips and a slice of bread and butter for £17.99. Place did get filled up quickly, so phone if you want a table. We will return as said, friendly staff and want to try the burgers and see how they rate. We did mention to the staff re the chicken portion size which they said will address… hopefully!

Dog friendly. We were even given a free roast for the dog. Lovely Sunday roast and very good value. Beef nicely cooked with a good portion of veg, plenty of gravy and horse radish. The cauliflower cheese is included and so too the red cabbage and apple. The latter adding a nice colour and taste to the roast. Warm friendly service, we even returned for the pub quiz and curry night later that week.

Was here for a wedding reception.

Had our UK wedding reception here last weekend, from moment we book with them right to the end of the night perfect staff, great service, great food. Well done everyone for making us and our guests feel very welcome.

Lovely place, really nice atmosphere. I left my bag there and they were super cool about it, answered the phone promptly and had it waiting for me when I returned. Would definitely go back.

Lovely pub with nice staff and great service. Sadly let down by the food. I had fish n chips and was disappointed. Should have been called crispy batter and chips. What tiny amounts of fish that was stuck in between the batter was not very fresh and looked off colour. The item wasn't exactly cheap. Lesson learnt not to order that again.

Was quiet when we visited, served quickly, food good value.

Normally the food has been quality but I was a bit disappointed that they've changed the menu and it isn't as good even though they've limited the options which is a shame really. I had fish and chips today and it was more like slightly uncooked batter and chips. Forgot to take a picture but I ended up forking out the fish and was left with more batter than chips. Looked cooked on the outside but was still slightly soggy inside (fish was cooked though) as I say, perhaps it's because it's the new menu but it was a bit disappointing. My boyfriend had a nice burger and chips though, perhaps I just chose wrong

Clean and tidy, greeted with bar closing in 30 minutes only 0930. 2 drinks £12 plus once bitten twice shy.

We were part of the group that were there for the wake after a funeral, Staff were friendly and obliging, ensuring there was enough food for everyone and drinks were served quickly, so ideal for what everyone needed at a sad time.

I have been here 3 times in the last couple of months for food - every time the food and service has been impeccable, highly recommended!

Disappointed. Looked online to book a table, email and phone numbers given so emailed to book. Didn't hear anything so called this morning to check the booking had been received. No answer, so left a voicemail asking to be called back. No call back. Husband called a couple of times over the course of the day, no one picked up the phone. Chanced going to the pub to see if we could get a table. Arrived at 7.45pm to be told the kitchen had just closed. Shared the disappointment with not hearing back to be told they don't take bookings via email or voicemail and that we should have called. Website and boards state food served daily from 12 noon. Staff member was not interested and had no intentions of being supportive. We will be telling others of put disappointment and suggest people do not go to The Tweseldown.

Never been back since Bobby George spat on the floor circa 2003.

We have been here a couple of times now for lunch with our dog. There is always a warm welcome and the standard of the food is excellent. On Sundays, dogs get a free Sunday lunch and it's not just doggy treats, but a small helping of the roast of the day. It's family friendly and the staff are warm and cheerful.

I'm really happy that we were able to grab a great sensibly sized roast dinner and also good price. Thank you!

The Tweseldown pub is one of the nicest , friendliest pubs I have ever visited. The manager Mike is a lovely person . Nothing is too much trouble for him . The bar staff are equally friendly . Dogs are also made very welcome . Great place for a party . The extension is beautifully decorated . I love the blue tartan carpet . Food is great as well the soup in particular. Great coffee! Great experience with getting accommodation for a on-the-day reservation for a company lunch for 14 people. The food and atmosphere here was lovely. Definitely will be back regularly!

17:00 on a Saturday evening the pub has a fire going on one side of the! A party has just finished on the other side of the pub. We ask for a drink at the pub. The barman direct us to a table as to the area where the party has just finished. We find a inviting table next to a radiator looking forward to warming ourselves only to find a cold radiator! We ask the bar staff if they don’t mind turning it on as we are cold and the area is cold as the party goers have the door open! We are told “ we are not allowed to turn heating on” wow! Your once welcoming pub has become a dungeon of ice! I struggle to get warm at all and after 1 pint decide this is not for me! Pub are supposed to be a place to get a pint and warm up on a chilly winters day after football but the Tweseldown is not once of them!

Had a lovely lunch yesterday. Given a warm welcome especially to our dog. Menu had changed since our last visit but food excellent as always.

Visited with friends one evening,when there was only a handful of customers. Good beer (London Pride) and a friendly barman. Will visit again.

Great place, they now do free Doggy Roasts when you order food which is a really nice touch . The Dogs loved it.

We ate in the barn area, which was lovely and warm. Food was of a good standard, but the customer service was what stood out for me.

We love this pub as we can bring our dog and enjoy great food. The staff are so friendly and get involved with our dog, who loves the attention. This makes our visit relaxed and we have enjoyed all the meals we have had. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

As a Fleet local I don't come to this pub enough but am always greeted with a warm welcome. During my visit at the weekend, we were greeted by Pete who went out of his way to make sure we found a table that worked for us and our two dogs, who to their delight were offered a 'pub dog roast' on the house. With the dog roast given the paws up, our human meals were fast and tasty, surroundings clean and atmosphere relaxed but busy. All in all a lovely experience on a Sunday afternoon and I will endeavour not to wait so long until my next visit!

Our first time of eating here. I had pre booked for lunchtime on a Thursday. With 5 people eating a circle table would have been a bonus. Varied meals ordered from Steaks, macaroni cheese, chicken salad, steak & ale pie, pudding sticky toffee and 2 biscoff cheese cakes, all food was lovely and clean plates handed back. Staff member was very nice. I was surprised to have people with 4 dogs behind us but as dog lovers that was fine. Ladies toilet was clean and tidy. We would come back again if in the area.

Massively overpriced, usually disappointing. Food quality and service is a bit hit and miss depending on who’s working. Make sure you avoid the ‘cruise’ nights when the small car park is overrun with Max Power wannabes and bangers.

Delicious, great quality pub food, with gluten free options, delivered by very friendly staff. Our first visit quickly turned us into (frequently) returning customers. Massive plus is the ability to bring your dog with you! Highly recommended!

Beer is great, nice staff, pub food is very nice, the burgers and the steak sandwich are delicious. I think you can hire the small restaurant venue for private parties which is very handy. And you can watch footie. Outside sitting area is also nice and have heaters and there is a smoking area too.

Family meal for 6 on a lively Sat eve. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly, helpful and efficient service. Great food at a fair price. Clean facilities. Couldnt fault it. Well done and thanks. Will be happy to return.

Tonight was the first time that I've been there. The staff were friendly and loved my puppy. The food was delicious and a reasonable price.

Lovely place, dog friendly with casual atmosphere. This was my first time visiting the pub, the staff were attentive and interested, remembered what drink I had before and made drink recommendations when I asked. I had a sharer platter and it was only ok but will be back to try more!

Mediocre food and atmosphere but nice enough.
