Was greeted by the amazing bar staff- (Karina) the manager who served me and my family, she even got my dog a bowl of water and a bit of sausage from the kitchen. Which was such an amazing greeting. She was very helpful and speedy with our drinks. Food was amazing I had one of the flat breads! Couldn’t recommend a better pub.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and yummy food! Stopped in for a bite to eat, staff were friendly and catered to our needs, definitely returning!

the Staff were friendly and served us . But I was not happy with the Cheese and Bacon burger as it had 1 small piece of Bacon. The burger was not cooked long enough and too soft for my liking.. Also the Biscoff Cheesecake was too soggy and tasted like a New York cheesecake .

Sian served us and did an amazing job very friendly and always made sure everything was ok so thank you and the food was lovely

Went for a bit of lunch with a few friends, was greeted by the manager(Karina) and her lovely colleague the one with the different coloured shoes! The food was lovely and was delivered by the lovely Leeanne, we only had picky bits but it hit the spot for sure! Has a great garden to chill and catch some rays while socialising with friends 😊 will definitely be back

Olivia the waitress was brilliant and unbelievably friendly. Food was good and pub was good. Fun and laughter theres enough for every one

Just been back to the Prince of Wales for an afternoon snack and had a pleasant time and food was nice and as expected.

Massive food menu and lots of options Limited vegan but what I ordered was really good. Service was lovely. We went on a quiet day too . Have also been on a very busy summer day so seen both.

A great pub with a great vibe and very nice food. Most of the regulars are very friendly and the staff are usually happy and friendly too. Occasionally service can be slow but it's usually during the daytime. All in all, it's a pretty decent pub

Quality of food is excellent everytime. Either I or my family have never had anything to complain about the food. Trouble is more people out the back doing other things than service the 5 qued customers waiting. Then 25 minutes later having to go back to the bar to get our own drinks after ordering from the app. There was only one person service. But others out back chatting more than helping.

Came here for post work meal in the afternoon so i could wind down before heading home. Had the fish and chips with curry sauce which was very tasty and it was the quiet afternoon bit before it filled up for the evening so it was nice and calm atmosphere. Staff are always super friendly.

i have just been to the prince of wales for the first time on sunday and my god was it a good time for me and my family, Jason was excellent and was full of joy and enthusiasm. the food was good for the price and filled us up. Elly the manager was also excellent

Good selection of ales. Food great at reasonable prices, especially week deals. Atmosphere can vary, noisy on sports event nights, can be quiet in week. Latest visit was quiz night, in-between, punters seemed to be enjoying it. We didn't do the quiz but thought it seemed a but naff anyway!

Visited the Prince of wales yesterday, was a warm day and was very busy as there was a football game on! I must say the team were amazing, they accommodated everyone and myself and the family. Elly,Karina and the rest of the team done amazing! Will 100% recommend visiting pow, good food,great garden and more importantly such a great team 😊

Came here for a quick Sunday lunch to get some time in the almost sun with my book, cheap and cheerful food but always nice. Lee-Anne is a treasure always pleasant, smiling and happy.

If you’re not a regular they could not care less! Booked a specific table for two England games to be told (on the day) a load of excuses (none of which were a problem at the time of booking) why we had been moved and the same regulars got both of our bookings. Didn’t bother calling me and were not at all apologetic! Seriously not good! Updated: Now they have cancelled my second booking because... 'the way I made the manager and staff feel'. Didn't raise my voice once. How do you air grievances without telling them?! Complaining gets you cancelled! Major narrative spin me thinks. Absolutely terrible!! Following your response below and just for the record: My conversation with you was to let you know how I felt about your decision to move us and that we felt lied to, not to change anything. I knew you weren't going to move your friends. One of your staff even confirm to me the reason we were moved was because they were regulars! I didn't threaten to leave bad reviews, I promised to send a complaint (a first for me), which I did the following morning. It would have been nice (if there was an issue with our booking) to have been called about the change or told at the time of booking. I'm sorry if anyone felt uncomfortable with me complaining or wanting to put in a complaint, I wasn't out to upset anyone, just felt very unwelcome and my family were disappointed. And I'm sorry you feel I need to be excluded from your establishment, but after this treatment, it's really not a concern.

Bar staff were incredibly fast and polite made to feel very welcome by Sian who made sure we were satisfied all evening 10/10 would come again.

Came here with a group of friends last month was crowded and the food was abit slow so waited quite a while

Food is what you expect from a flame and grill but i haven't ever had any issues with it. The offers are good and the atmosphere is great. Massive beer garden with a kids play area. Great for watching sports as plenty of TV's. If you go on a Thursday then the pool table is free and it has been refelted recently.

Love this place, today we were to be served by Thomas, and he was perfect, friendly, polite, and accommodating, brilliant staff member, give this man a pay rise

STERILE! I’ve been in over 2000 pubs from Highland of Scotland to Isle of Wright. Atmosphere of a funeral, just another corporate Green King Pub. Staff are just their for a wage (done really blame them) price of a pint doesn’t replicate the atmosphere you’d get elsewhere in Fleet. Avoid if possible. Absolutely clinically sterile, bet it was a brilliant boozer before It was bought over by a company too.

Weather was shining if albeit a bit brisk still but who wouldn’t want a nice beer in a garden still. Me and a couple of mates enjoyed our food, nothing fancy but couldn’t say no to a big rack of ribs that were new to the menu since I was last here.

Had a lovely experience at Prince of wales fleet. The two girls on the bar Karina and elly was amazing. The chefs Tom James Matt and Markus are always helpful to always delivering amazing food! And they have one of my favourite beers hogstar on! Would highly recommend

Had an issue with my food but had another one cooked and it was lovely... would have been happy just nuking it. But was insisted that I had it freshly cooked.... well done to the chef..

Service much better than other Green Kings in the area. Food was as expected and the overall atmosphere was sufficiently warm and cosy. Particular thanks to the boy I met on the way out (I think he said he was a potwash?), he gave me directions and was very friendly.

really lovely pub, first time coming, when i approached the bar i was greeted by a lovely young lady called paige who started a conversation with me was super friendly and service along side that was brilliant from this young lady, lovley evening in general.

Great service from Karina, very quick, friendly and attentive. She also corrected my drink for me when someone mixed it up with someone else’s drink. Recommend Karina as she’s very knowledgeable about food and drinks and makes sure that you are enjoying yourself.

Visited the pub and I must say it is nice to be greeted with smiles and lovely bar staff, Paige was amazing she served us food and made sure we were happy with everything, we ordered desserts that were made by a young chap called Jason, We had the trio bar and it was beautifully presented! Another person who stood out was Elly she was on the bar she made sure we were happy with where we were sitting as we booked in advance! Will definitely be visiting again ☺️

Had a great afternoon evening at the Prince of Wales a few weeks ago, I had a bit of an issue with mixed up tables and the staff were great at sorting it out, I spoke to one of the barstaff called Nat who liased with the kitchen and made sure all our orders came through properly, I'd complement the other staff too but I can't remember their names, very friendly welcoming place.

Fantastic food, great vibe and Dee is just delightful, friendly and funny, your greatest asset by far!!!!

Went in for the first time in a while, met with smiles from the bar which was lovely, but the highlight by far was the food. Perfectly cooked steak and nachos were divine. Great job as always from Tom and the rest of the kitchen team, I will be back.

Just been in for the footy and a big stack burger as Chef Tom suggested and it was delicious as always. Been here before and it rarely disappoints even when it’s busy and service can slow down.

I am sorry to rate one star for the food. This is entirely based on my own experience. There is no fault with the product. I do somehow know how greeneking supplies works. However, entire food we order were ruined, chicken burger and fries they were over cooked completely dry taste less. Hot wings were not well mixed with chilli sauce. Just an absolute off experience.

Tired decor and rather cold. Heating was off although it was during January! Needs a refit. Food was good but not exceptional.

Nothing to fault at all on the food. £15 to feed the family, good quality, good portions, nice and hot. The lady on the bar was soooooo miserable, I hope she's ok but shouldn't be the face of the pub. It was freezing in there! We kept our coats on the whole time.

Been coming here for years. But I have noticed that food has been different the last year in a bad way. Disappointment on my last 3 visits. I’m going to give it another shot now that the menus have changed. See you soon for a visit

Great waiter servicing us called Tom engaged with the children got them all an activity sheet and crayons to entertain them asked a few times of everything was great 👍 Food was lovely cooked by Jeremy Bar staff Natalie and Damien were brilliant also 👏 Lovely relaxed environment brilliant service tonight thank you 😊

If you like good times , good booze and carbs then here is your place!! Come here regularly with my family and dog and it's one of the best pubs I have ever been in. Highly recommended the BBQ chicken bites

Went in for a quick pint and a pie n chips after golf. Lots of people enjoying the festive period. Friendly staff and great food. I watched the darts on TV, ate my grub and finished my pint. Exactly what I wanted. Cheers.

Great little pub. Didn't know there was a pub quiz on prior to going but the atmosphere was still good. Ordered via the app and service was great. Food was cooked to request, was lovely and the desert to was good.

Awful service. Food forgotten. Many things unavailable No draft coke and a small bottle was £3.30 absolutely disgusted.

Pop in here on Thursday lunchtime as they do a BOGOF burger deal which saves cooking that day. Lovely friendly staff, good service and nice atmosphere, what else could you want, meal is great too.

Went today as a group of 14 (adults and children) love that we can now borrow games to play at the table as its not as easy for kiddys to play outside this time of year! Everyone was lovely as always and good food for kids and adults. Thank you!

Busy and noisy when we entered, the rugby was on. We sat at a table that did not have a reserve sign on and we're asked to move (6 of us). We were going to eat but had to down our drinks and leave. Service unfriendly when asked to move.

Absolutely love coming here for dinner and regularly come here with our children as well as friends and family. Would always recommend coming here definitely amazing value for money and always a very friendly and efficient service from all the staff.

Cheap and cheerful pub food. Plenty of variety, maybe a little too much but it was hot and tasty. I had the wrap with grilled vegetables and steak. The steak was a pleasant surprise, I expected it to be tough at £6.50 but it was well seasoned and melted in the mouth. No complaints, will definitely go again

Really disappointed, I ordered Nachos from the Gluten Free menu and was brought out Vegan Nachos, I queried it and was told they were the normal Nachos, firstly they were cold, little cheese on. Then a friends came out, looked so much better with sour cream as well, clearly mine were the Vegan ones and they couldn't be bothered to do again. Friends ordered food and a huge delay in the order and they ended up eating at separate times and it was quiet. Won't rush back.

Fantastic pub for dining and entertainment. The manager Jason Haskins is absolutely brilliant too and has created the best environment for watching sports with my friends.

A great pub with lots of choice on the menu, and a play area in the back garden! Staff are very friendly and helpful in particular Ellie who always goes above and beyond.

Advertise they are going to show a game on their website and they say sorry we can't once we're there as someone is wearing a different team shirt and requested a game. Guy then gets really annoyed when trying to discuss with him. Don't advertise something on you're website and then don't show it. Called false advertising. Update as I cannot add a comment to your response. I appreciate your response but on your website it says 'fixtures' which suggests you will show these specific games. I can prove that you advertised you were showing the specific game we wanted to watch because I took a screenshot and sent it to a friend as it is the only reason we came to your pub.
