Cafe Baristas in Hart

I'm a frequent customer. It's a great cafe but for the love of god, please do something about the banging entrance door!

This is how coffee should be served! This is a small cafe on a 'smash-and-grab' rane from the M25. Food was OK and the location somewhat unfortunate - Hook is a very busy road route. All that aside, let's talk coffee. What a great experience to be served an excellent Americano with a jug of hot water and a jug of cold milk. This means that I get a coffee that I am in control of. So much better then the 'take it-or-leave it' approach of the usual global-megacorp outlets. They work hard to deliver an honest and rather up market cuppa. Hats off to them. Well done!

A small village cafe offering a range of well priced food! I was attracted by the all day breakfast , but in the end opted for scrambled eggs on toast (with extra bacon!) Service was friendly and food arrived promptly, freshly cooked! Drinks were well priced.

The service is great, the cafe itself feels very warm and cosy. The food is also delicious, but not exactly as expected in terms of size and description. One day my full English felt like it was 75% baked beans as an example.

I often come to Barista's, primarily when I can't be bothered to cook my own food. However, time after time I am met with a professional, kind and friendly team. Ordering is easy and food is quick, they are always amazing. Despite the fact that they're busy they always communicate this and make it easy to be easy. Couldn't recommend highly enough and is always my first choice.

Nice little coffe shop - good range of food and cakes!

Only went in to ask for some advice over whether it is unreasonable to play a drum kit late at night in my ongoing neighbourly dispute but came out with a coffee and cake. Yum. BTW I am adamant it is not unreasonable for me to play my drums at 3 in the morning.

Very good coffee shop. Great choice of roast. Had an interesting and fruitful chat with the Barnstaple regarding the UK only, pitiful, flat white cup size. Reason is that I am now Australian and spoiled for choice for great coffee. End result, decent sized cup. Lovely coffee. I'll be back next time I visit the UK.

This friendly Barista's has great coffee and food. Freshly baked cakes are a huge temptation. Wonderful staff and service. Always a pleasure to visit.

Great coffee and wonderful food. The staff are so warm and welcoming. It's my first port of call, every weekday. A new courtyard is almost ready, too and it looks very inviting.

Had a great takeaway of warm chicken and bacon salad with chips plus blueberry Bakewell sluce. Portion sizes very good Sensible price and lovely welcoming staff. I will return.

Best breakfast I've had in years! Grate menu selection. All food prepared really well, and tasting fresh.

Pleasant staff, good food & coffee

I first visited Baristas when I had not long moved to the area. I received a warm and friendly welcome and the food is lovely. I went back again a few days later and the staff remembered me; a really nice touch. I would definitely recommend for both the food and the atmosphere. Only downside is they’re not open on Saturdays. We’d love to walk down for coffee, breakfast or brunch with friends at the weekend although I’m sure there’s good reason and maybe this is something that has been tried previously. Even so I will still visit on my days off during the week. 😊

Staff were rude, the place was dirty and the food was cheap, over cooked and sloppy. Will never go again and definitely will not recommend it.

My partner Adam and I absolutely love this place, and every Friday we religiously order a takeaway lunch as we work from home, so it's always a nice treat for us to look forward to. The food is always top quality, my personal fave is a jacket potato with cheese, beans and coleslaw and of course their delicious homemade brownies! You must get in fast as they've become a top seller! But what really makes this place extra special is the staff, especially Aliscia, she is always smiling and chatty and I love the little messages she writes on my iced coffee cups! Keep up the great work! -xo

We got a couple of coffees and cake to takeaway and it all tasted amazing. Great value for money and the staff were very friendly! Just wish they were open at the weekend and I would visit more!

Not suitable for children due to broken high chair, maybe the wooden ones and more than one would be a good idea. It was very quiet today but may be a problem if you have busier periods or more than one child. reply to owner - I did think it was rather petty to be asked to stop my 2 year old climbing on and off a chair - he most certainly wasn’t running around - I wouldn’t let him do that. I felt unwelcome and your reply to my email cements that unwelcome feeling!

Service speed needs improvement. But, the quality of food was good. Would be great to to have some more vegan options.

Incredible breakfast baguettes and friendly service. You can't ask for more than that.

Don't bother. I used to go here while on break however on my last visit I had to face how unwelcoming the team is. Unfortunately that day the place was not even full, I couldn't eat in as I got some strong food allergy then I decided to have just a drink and have my small home made sandwich. Then I had been pushed out since I couldn't eat in my own food. Ok fair enough however they could ask nicely and let it go for this time while I was eating and just warning me for the next time.

My first visit today for a takeaway lunch. What an absolutely delightful team they have. Food was very fresh and tasted great. I resisted the cakes but they had a lovely selection and they looked amazing

My wife and I often have lunch at Cafe Baristas. The staff are always welcoming and pleasant. The coffee, tea, lunches and cakes are very good and reasonably priced. Good for breakfasts too.

If you're near Hook in Hampshire then Baristas is the place to grab a seat and relax with an excellent flat white coffee and delicious looking cakes. Serving staff are so lovely as well.

The highlight of my stay in Hook their iced coffee is the best I've ever had and I've travelled around a lot. The girls/staff are lovely I have 4 more days which means 4 more iced coffees here in Hook it's what has made my visit bearable ha ha .Hook is a sad little village/town thank goodness for CAFE Baristas.

Fabulous egg and bacon muffin. No snotty tops on the eggs yet still beautifully runny which is an art in itself. The bacon, thick, smokey cooked perfectly. Best thing though... was able to Tap for A Tip afterwards to say thank you! Thank you for a lovely breakfast 🤩

Fantastic place, stopped in for a bacon sandwich and cappuccino today and was the best I've had,, very friendly and welcoming staff and a lovely atmosphere,, can't wait to go back to try out the rest of the menu,,, plenty of choices at a great price,, cakes look amazing,,

Visited here for breakfast, ordered pancakes with bacon, they were the small pancakes you can buy in a supermarket. It cost £6.50 and they must be making 1000% profit. Cooked breakfast was the same. Cheap ingredients and they are charging the earth for them. Coffee was ok. Have now found Hartletts cafe in Hook and it is much better will be going there from now on

Food is amazing. Bacon and eggs is the best I've had in a breakfast place. But I was quite disappointed when I turned up to order something at 9 but it wasnt actually open gone 10mins past so had to change plans.

Happy to say Baristas Hook opened first day after lockdown2. Just couldn't help myself and popped in for a cheeky coffee and cake and was not disappointed! Such friendly staff as ever, always welcoming and helpful. The mincemeat-bakewell slice is just scrumptious and coffee as good as ever. Can't wait to find an excuse for brunch again soon.

Lovely food and friendly service

Visited here for light lunch and coffee. Service was friendly enough. Brie and Bacon sandwich was nice, Tuna cheese was undercooked and lacked Mayo, side salad was uninspired and one contained a hair. Flat white was okay, iced coffee seemed to lack coffee. Chips undercooked. Left feeling slightly aggrieved and £25 worse off, overpriced given the quality of food on offer. Probably won’t return.

I can’t recommend this cafe enough! The staff are friendly and very efficient. But it’s their egg mayonnaise with crispy bacon sandwich that is amazing . Well worth a try.

Im absolutely scathing after a visit to Baristas Hook! After a cold wet morning I called Baristas and enquired if they did hot sandwiches and I was told that they do toasted sandwiches and toasted baguettes. I enquired twice as to ensure my tuna mayo and cheese baguette would be hot, however upon arrival 1 the food was not ready after phoning up 15mins before 2 the tea and the coffee I ordered to take away where barely drinkable 3 my toasted tuna mayo and cheese baguette had tuna and cheese straight from the fridge and was ice cold! Such a disappointment to get back to my car and open my baguette and for it to be cold and not what i ordered! What are the staff thinking when the customer asked twice for the baguette to be warm. Did they not consider that the baguette was cold in their hand and to question the chef. I paid £14 for two inedible sandwiches and two undrinkable hot drinks! I try to support my local business but Baristas aren’t helping themselves they are never open when you would expect them to be open and the staff need some serious training! Unfortunately for them I’ll continue going to Hartletts in the future!

It is not correct etique to remove a person's finished plate until each other person at the same table has finished eating.

This café came recommended so decided to give it a whirl, the staff were inattentive, the coffee was awful and an over priced 'experience' (If I wanted an 'experience' I would have gone sky diving) the breakfast was made up of medium quality produce and flooded in baked beans which took up half the plate! for the money and better quality there is a much better café in Odiham and friendly staff.

Popped in here following a dog walk and ordered a cooked breakfast. Very reasonably priced and it was delicious. Coffee was lovely as well. Sat outside the front and the friendly staff even brought out fresh water for the dog. Will definitely return again. Would highly recommend.

Popped in with my other half on our way through. Had a lovely lunch in a peaceful and cosy atmosphere. Then a yummy treacle tart to finish.

Very friendly cafe with lovely staff. Last visit was breakfast, but will be back for another lunch visit again soon. Great food, good service. Meeting for coffee is a must - super cakes which change over time so there's always a new treat to sample.

It is a small coffee shop in Hook. Good value and tasty food. They have their own kitchen and make a lot of the food on the premises. The staff are pleasant.

I have been a couple of times and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately today I did not have the same experience. The staff were not that friendly. The hazelnut latte and hot chocolate were really good, but I ordered the English muffin breakfast and instead I got a roll. When I went to pay and commented on the my English muffin being a bread roll, I was told that it was the new muffins and she turned her back on me. So that is why I am giving it a 1 star.😞

Staff very friendly and accommodating, nothing is to much trouble. A very extensive menu for a coffee shop with a variety of cakes and cooked food. I would hol hart idle recommend this place to anyone that is in the area and would use it again and again.

Am ashamed to say that we popped in today mainly because it was raining. So pleased we did and can't believe we haven't been before. Only had coffees on this occasion, but will deffo return as all food looked great and our coffee was lovely. Very clean and comfortable café with friendly competent staff....winner for me

Me and my family went here a couple of times whilst we were viewing houses and the staff where so lovely, friendly and helpful. We ended up moving to the village and still love this cafe. Food is yummy and there is free parking near the shops at the back.

The staff are great, Steff keeps the place running. They've now put the prices up, £6.85 for a toasted sandwich seems steep.

Coffee is good staff is pleasant. Food usually is good . today the omlette was lacking. It was a mish mash betwwen scramble eggs and ommlette. Or more like a saturday kitchen omlette. Hopefully was a one off. Will go there again.

Brilliant staff who are the heart of this café. Steff runs the place and is obviously the lynch pin, customers return because of her. A few cosmetic improvements would be welcome, such as fixing the door and sorting out the heating, will be the icing on the cake 🎂. The food and drinks are very good.

Steff keeps the place going and is great with customers. It would be good if much effort went into this café as goes into their other one in Hartley Wintney.

Excellent breakfast. Good quality ingredients and well cooked. Friendly and efficient service.

Seating for about 22 people (inside) and a few more outside. There is a selection of hot and cold drinks. There is also a modest selection of cakes, flapjacks and other yummy treats.

Omelettes. Absolutely magic. Ham cheese and mushroom. Could eat them all day. I'm there with the family today.
