I had a bacon and sausage baguette to takeaway which was delicious. Will definitely be back for a full English.

Food was delicious and great value /quality. The young gentleman serving could do with training on how to welcome and deliver service with a smile but he was a sweet lad, Had the Canadian breakfast, traditional English and pancakes - all excellent. £56 for 4 including coffees and smoothies. Would definitely return.

A really lovely cafe with a great selection of freshly cooked meals, cakes, tea, fresh juice & more. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat or to chill out with a coffee would definitely recommend this place. Great atmosphere and staff.

Can't fault this place other than if you hit it at the wrong time it will be packed out but even then not have to wait to long for perfect food

Tried this place today I am a conisuir when it comes to these types Of cafes I work all over the place and regularly pop into a local cafe where I'm working It's got the right idea But I found it a bit slow 🐌 on the rime of order ro recieveing your food Plenty of staff so I think they can qork on that Coffee was spot on I hate it when it served luke warm this coffee was hot We had two cheese salad baguettes they were okish nothing to right home about I'm not going to drop names but yesterday I had a baguette in Dennis of bexley and that's what u call a baguette so in a way I was comparing it to that I wish them well but not sure if I will be returning

yesterday I went for a breakfast with my wife and kids I had a lovely breakfast the kids said they loved the breakfast and that is quite rare as they are picky fast and good service would definitely recommend for anyone

I have been frequenting Truffles for years now and their menu keeps changing for the better. I recently treated the kids for lunch there and was very disappointed by their burger menu. The chicken burger was delicious but not really value for money as a meal, there was no salad no chips, a tiny burger in a massive plate which looked rather sad. We had to order a separate portion of chips. Surely some chips and bit of salad on the side would go a long way with the customer especially as other dishes have it by default. For what was served it was overpriced and for the first time the kids said they don’t want to come back to truffle again.

Delicious food at a fraction of the price you pay for this quality in a bistro/ restaurant. Great service. The Goat’s cheese salad is a winner. 😀

I'm sorry to say that Truffles has gone down hill. You order your meal, they leave things off what you order, they've increased their prices. You order a drink they forget to give it to you, you have to keep reminding them. The young kids waiting on you, look like they can't be bothered and are not very receptive at all. Thought they were having an off day but it's happened a couple if times now......very disappointing, don't know what's happened to the place.

I had brunch with a friend this morning. Avo special for me, smashed avo for him. Absolutely lovely, taste, presentation and value. Yummy English breakfast tea in a solid little pot, so nice I had a 2nd pot. Top marks from me.

Coffee is really good here, the waitress Mathilda makes very good coffee ! The food is also so nice, they have such a big variety from breakfast to lunch options. My favourite is the chicken Shish, and my kids love the pancakes ! They always have different specials each week too!

I had the chicken shish there today, it was so nice. Best chicken shish ever! Service was really good. Coffee is the best too. Will be returning for sure !

I have had excellent meals at Truffles in the past. Today I decided to treat my son to lunch. I ordered the poached egg with smoked salmon and my son ordered the chicken burger. My meal arrived with the great presentation I had come to expect. My son's meal was a piece of dry meat in a dry bun, no onion, no sauce, no salad, nothing to make it in any way attractive. I complained to one of the waitresses and she promised to take up the matter. We received no further contact from the staff. There was no adjustment to the bill. Clearly the lesson is if you do eat here choose things with a detailed description. Don't assume that they will give you anything that's not described on the menu.

Andrea, again helped me with my order even though she super busy. Thank you Andrea. I have to say we did not order more than once whilst Jem, Head Chef was away on holiday for 2 weeks. Now Jem has returned we shall order frequently again. Jem is a brilliant Chef. We were sad to hear that Dev, 2nd Chef had left as he was excellent. We received Jem’s high standard of creating delicious food yesterday and again today. If Jem ever leaves here, not sure we will order from Truffles as Jem’s high standards were only achieved by Dev. Thank you Jem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good local spot. Fresh, tasty food that pleasantly surprised me. Kids portions were quite generous so two can easily share one portion of fries or kids pasta. Milkshake was delicious and the buttermilk chicken wrap was very tasty, chicken was fresh and crispy with a side of fresh salad. Staff was very friendly and our food was really nicely packed to go.

It's not a typical restaurant and it's not a cafe. Truffles is somewhere in between and fills a niche brilliantly. It serves good food with a Mediterranean leaning with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is good, service is prompt and friendly and prices are quite reasonable. I can't comment on accessibility. Shame it's close to the petrol station but the prevailing wind means it doesn't intrude. I'm going back soon.

Not our first time at the cafe :) we love going there for lunch . Always a lovely experience! Beautiful food , very friendly girls working there too ! Today I had an amazing salad ! I was very impressed! It was part of their special menu :) loved it !

It’s not a bad place at all but I think it should be better for a more premium cafe that it markets itself as. The serving staff were nice and friendly and the food is quite nice. I had a burger and it was really average in taste. The meat itself seemed low to average quality and I was expecting something a bit better. We had English breakfasts too, they were nice and good quality. We have been here a few times over the past 5 years. We always find that we are not offered condiments. We had to hunt some down and when our ketchup arrived we were given one portion for 4 of us. Asked for more and got one more portion! Not enough. I get it that condiments can be wasted but this is just a pain! Would I go back, yes but it’s not first choice for us. I feel it could improve quite easily and become a really great place to eat.

Mate we ordered 2 sausage sandwiches and 2 chips and 2 waters and it’s taken over 45mins as on now we still haven’t gotten any food would not recommend awful establishment.

Had an amazing experience at Truffles. The cafe has a great atmosphere and the decor was modern, fresh and clean. The Canadian breakfast was delicious and my wife enjoyed her French breakfast. Also, the coffee was high quality, perhaps one of the best I’ve had. I highly recommend visiting this place!

Absolutely amazing food and service. Fresh delicious food with amazing flavours. Staff are so professional and you can see into the kitchen which is clean. Honestly the best cafe in Bromley and perfect for a brunch. Highly recommend 10/10.

Slow service, had to move our table twice before even given menus so that staff could reorganize the layout of the restaurant. People came in after us and were served before us. Egg shells found in my omelette. Food not as nice as it used to be, cafe/restaurant seems worse under new ownership. Will NOT be revisiting.

The fried chicken on the brioche toast was very nice but the English breakfast was better, scrabbled egg was light and fluffy, bacon was tasty and the little potato bites are really nice. The only thing I would have said is that the tea could have Been hotter. Service was lovely everyone smiling and the food came out very quickly

Lovely new Refurb by the truffles gang. Lovely menu. Their service and food was great. Atmosphere was excellent! Experience their lunch and then took my wife and children back to experience their dinner menu! both delicious. We look forward to returning soon

Truffles is always my go to cafe/bistro. It has so many things to choose from. The food is amazing & on point every time. Staff are welcoming and polite. Highly recommend if you haven’t been before.

Best Breakfast Gem in Bromley! Ridiculously affordable and friendly diner with a huge menu. All of it tasty, and the staff are always friendly and helpful! We always go with a group of close friends.

This cafe was excellent for everything!! Me and my husband go to many cafes up and down the country as we travel a lot and I can honestly say that this is by far the best cafe we have been to in a very long time. They even offer a halal breakfast option which you can’t get everywhere. The staff are friendly, the food is good quality and cooked to perfection. There is plenty of choice and the place is clean, tidy and attractive. We will definitely be coming back!

I've been going to truffles for two years and always loved it. The food is delicious and the carrot cake is fantastic. The service is lovely and fast and the prices are very reasonable. I've not had anything here that I didn't love. Don't listen to any negative reviews; they clearly went to another cafe!

Lovely food, wonderful staff, waitresses go above and beyond, people are so very impatient these days and want everything in 2 mins ! everything is cooked to order, always fresh, always happy to please . I am a regular at truffles as the service is always great and the chicken shish and mediteranian breakfast are famous locally. The Illy coffee is always done to perfection by Mathilda and the staff Ever since the first time we came here years ago the staff are super friendly with my kids and they all look forward to visiting to get their chocolate milkshakes I would definitely recommend visiting

Best bistro/cafe I've ever eaten in you can tell the food is sourced well proper good quality and well seasoned just wished this was more local to me .....

Not impressed at all! My poached egg on toast arrived without the toast which I then waited at least another 5min for, the bacon was basically fat & gristle, the sausage was undercooked, the hash brown only tasted of cooking oil, any coffee that was left in the cup after it had mostly been spilt in the saucer was cold and the service was appalling! That’s what comes of staffing the place with kids I guess.

Food is good quality and very tasty the scrambled eggs are always by far the best I've had.mushrooms are pukka too. Been here a few times and always seems something is messed up with the order like a slice of toast missing or they forget a sausage or something silly like that also I hate the fact I have to butter my own toast when I've just paid top money because it is not cheap here otherwise well worth a visit

I had the baked potato with cheese, baked beans with tomato, Mediterranean Salad ... The baked potato with tomato sauce had a tangy taste, the salad was fresh. Will be my go to place for morning breakfast... Not just they have a lot of options in their Menu

A local gem! Easy parking. All day dining from an extensive menu with daily specials. Consistently high quality food, presented well and served by a cheerful, competent team of staff in comfortable surroundings inside or out. Highly recommended.

Felt cold in there and we kept our coats on. Servers also left the door opened as they served the customers outside. Food was average and toast was burnt. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again as the interior looks a little tired. Service was good.

Ordered take away today - all wraps were wrong and when we spoke to the staff they had disgusting attitudes and were threatening towards us. The chef was lovely and gave us the refund. But this place needs new waitresses because the food is great but the staff make people want to stay away!!!!!!!!!

Really disappointed ! Truffles is a lovely cafe - however I feel it has shifted from a cute Artisanal Cafe to more of a greasy spoon - which is disappointing. My poached eggs were vinegary and my toast was more like bread :( the presentation was also lacking, which is a shame ! Eggs were still nice though ! Cleanliness was also an issue - sticky tables (which is hard to manage as often this comes from the cleaning products used) but there was ketchup and marks all up the walls where I was sitting. I just feel as if this place used to be so lovely ! And a lot more effort was taken regarding upkeep and standards. Perhaps the staff can pay a little more attention to detail and hopefully try and revive the cafe.

Tried the coffee again and can say that it's no better than last time: far too weak and not hot enough. Went home to make a proper coffee. Shame as I like to support local businesses.

We are new to visiting Truffles for a coffee or for lunch. On a positive note, and really the only positive is that the food is absolutely delicious, and the ONLY reason we go back.Almost everything is either poor or mediocre. On the whole the cleanliness of the cafe looks good. However, the tables are always a bit sticky, the menus are plastic covered which is probably why you get the stickiness when you take the menu off the table…..despite this it’s still not nice to hear it peeling off the table. This could easily be rectified…..buy menu holders so the menus are standing and not flat on the table.The service is horrendous. Having worked in a cafe before I know that customer service is a tricky thing to strike a balance with. You don’t want a waiter/waitress coming over before you’ve had chance to sit down, on the other hand you don’t want to be sat there for 15 mins before you’ve even ordered a drink. We went in yesterday and (on purpose) we sat at hour table for 15 mins, the waitress didn’t even glance in our direction once. There’s nothing….I went to the counter in the end to order, I wasn’t greeted with a hello or anything, I asked to order and was asked ‘if I wanted someone to come to the table’ I explained we had been sitting there for 15 mins already and the girl behind the counter just shrugged! I ordered, she then asked (with a smile) if I wanted to pay now? What is that all about?As always the food was delicious and I have to say this is the saving grace of this place…..we know when we go there that we will be virtually invisible to the staff and have to wait…..however, I know I won’t feel this way forever and I’ll eventually go elsewhere.I was going to speak to the manager on my last visit but she wasn’t there. I have to say that when she is there the service is slightly better but she is barking out orders keeping everyone on their toes.The whole situation is easily put right, give the girls some proper training….explain what your expectations as the manager is, what the expectations of your clientele is. The girls huddle behind the counter….make this a no go area for the girls/boys who are ‘waiting’ the tables. It’s a shame really that the lack of staff training could eventually see the demise of this lovely little cafe.

Nice baguettes and smoothies, right next to South Hill Woods with cycle parking. One star knocked off because it's slow to get your order ready.

Nice Paninis, disappointed though that the "caramelised red onions" advertised was just raw red onions, and the other panini supposed to contain "sun-dried tomatoes" only had cherry tomatoes.

I ordered the chili marinated chicken wrap and chips for lunch which they delivered for me. The food arrived HOT and the meal was TASTY. The delivery man was very pleasant too! Will become a frequent luncher. Thank you

Their full English Breakfast baguette is one of the seven wonders of the modern world. So what if the service is a bit amateurish. I actually think that's what gives it some charm. Im not as obsessed with serice as some others on here. In my experience, people who keep banging on about service lack a palate.

Mi sándwich de tocino llegó y era de un tamaño muy fino. La comida de mi esposa no había llegado hasta después de que terminé como se pasó por alto. Los cafés volvieron a llegar mucho más tarde y después de que otros que habían llegado mucho más tarde hubieran recibido los suyos. . . . . y después de mis quejas. Me dijeron que el molinillo de café tenía la culpa, pero que otros seguían obteniendo sus cafés. El croisant de la esposa llegó sin mermelada ni mantequilla que habíamos pedido. Los servidores tenían poca o ninguna experiencia y se notabaNo visitar de nuevo.

Wow! Where to start... I've ordered takeaway breakfasts from here a few times (which have always been amazing), I didn't realise how close this place was to me. Today I went and dined in for the first time, great friendly staff. I had the specialty chicken shish and a milkshake. The portion of the chicken shish was generous and the food tasted amazing. I wish I'd gotten something else to drink instead of a milkshake as it filled me up before my food arrived meaning I couldn't fully finish the meal but that's my fault for ordering a milkshake! Thank you, I will be back soon.
