On both of my visits to Cornwall recently, I've had a lovely experienice in the Tretho Lounge. The food was brilliant, and as a vegan it can be difficult to find a restaurant with a lot of PROPER GOOD vegan options, and so far everything was fantastic. The staff were lovely, helpful, and accomodating. The atmosphere was nice and we all had a lovely time regardless of our different dietary needs.

Its in a really good location but could do much better food wise. Always going to be busy given the location.

Main meal came out cold sent back, then took ages to re-cook!! Puddings took ages too.. when they did finally arrive!! very dry and ice cream had melted..!! Staff lovely 👍🏻 Food just about average 🙄

I enjoyed my lunch in this restaurant. They have some good selection of food and drinks on menu, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and above all there is a beautiful view over the St Ives harbour if u choose the outside table.

A faultless Lounge with great views of the St Ives harbour. Service is always very quick and food is consistently excellent. You can even get Henry Weston on tap! One criticism is that really, the food and drink is so expensive for what you get. Appreciate it's not this specific Lounges fault - but really the company is starting to price out ordinary people.

For the money I have had better.

Great place down by the harbour with good views, great menu all round. I am gluten-free, and they have a whole menu dedicated to people like me. The staff are friendly and are well clued up on it and can double check with in seconds that the menu is as meant to be. Food is great (visited for food twice). The atmosphere is good all round, and pricing is good to we spent around £45 each time for 2 of us. Will be going back for sure.

Amazing Breakfast yet again, very friendly staff nothing is too much trouble. We've been coming in here for a few years now & it's certainly the best place for a Breakfast & the menu always looks amazing with lots to offer. Very highly recommended. See you on our next visit

The family concensus is that this is the best meal we've had since moving to the UK a couple of months ago. Highly recommend the Nasi Goreng (if you like spicy) and the Bang Bang Chicken. Loads of delicious drinks, wine and beer available. We'll definitely be back if we visit St Ives again.

We came in last night as a group of ten to celebrate a birthday. Every party member said the food and drinks was great, flavoursome and they were happy with quality. Our family group were from aged 8 to 66 and everyone had an enjoyable evening. The staff that we came in contact with were amazing, happy and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a wheelchair user up in our party who remarked how kind the staff were but never condescending! As we live in St Ives we will definitely be dropping in again in fact we can’t wait. Thanks for a great evening we had a blast!

Perfect place with the loveliest staff, beautiful food and excellent Tuesday tapas deals! We return everytime we visit St Ives and will continue to do so.

We stopped by for a meal after having a walk through St Ives deciding where to go as hadn't booked anywhere! it was the last night of our holiday. Ordered the bang bang Cauliflour (with noodles) and the cowboy burger. Both were delicious. We sat outside, nice table overlooking the harbour despite being a bit drizzly. Was slightly concerned we would be bothered by seagulls but luckily we weren't! We had two rounds of drinks, the wine was good, my Mojito was nice but not very sweet, not sure if there was any soda or syrup in it. Anyway, it was a really enjoyable evening, the staff were friendly, they were very very busy but a friendly chap still managed to ask us if everything was OK with our meal so that was kind of him and we appreciated it. All in all the place has a lovely relaxed holiday feel. Toilets were clean and decorated nicely . We would definitely come again.. thank you so much :-)

Well, what can I say? Like an episode of faulty towers….. My wife ordered the stacked pancakes with maple mascarpone, blueberries, and berry compote. She asked if she could have maple syrup when it arrived, and was told that would extra, as not part of the dish- fair enough. However, what wasn’t extra, and a culinary delight for her tastebuds, was coleslaw!!! Yes, you read that right- the ‘chef’ instead of putting mascarpone on the pancakes, had put coleslaw! Easy mistake I suppose, as I always like a good helping of cabbage, carrot & onion in my mascarpone too. Undeterred, like a trooper, she ploughed on, and went for the sticky toffee pudding, with peas & gravy for dessert….🤦🏻‍♂️🤮

I had the Miami brunch. The poached eggs were a little too hard-boiled, but otherwise it was delicious.

Myself and my daughter had a late lunch today, we opted for the chicken, bacon & avocado salad. Food was delicious, lovely fresh ingredients. Staff very friendly and welcoming. We are local to St Ives and came in food in between shifts. Thanks guys we will be back ☺️

Absolutely delicious lunch here, myself and my family all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the Moroccan flat bread which was excellent and so tasty. All the staff were brilliant. Thank you so much :)

Lovely place with cool decor and nice vibes. Great position to sit outside on a nice day and watch the world go by. The food was very nice but expensive but I guess that's it being in St Ives. The staff are really great..friendly enthusiastic and efficient.

Stopped off for some late night drinks. Bar had a great range of cocktails, beers and gins. Reasonable prices too. Really nice vibe and decor. Dog friendly too.

Stopped in for breakfast and it was great. The service was fantastic and everyone had excellent food. The ice coffee was great and the view of the harbour was a perfect was to start the day. Highly recommend.

4 of us ate here and only one meal was below par which was due to it being lukewarm. The chips that accompany the burger are a very small portion. Burgers were nice.

As a celiac disease sufferer, it is wonderful if there is your own GF menu. Any contamination will still be pointed out again. And then the dish you ordered tastes good too. I have very rarely experienced that. Clear recommendation and thank you for the very friendly service!👍

I love this place. My girlfriend and I went last night and have been many times. Which in itself tells you a lot. But if you want very tasty food in a great location and it always be reasonably priced then this is the place. The service is always great with friendly and polite staff who can’t do too much. Well Done

The menu was varied and offered a good range of options. The meal portions were a little on the small side. Two of my three children did not like their kids meals though. I wasn't overly kean on the garlic and parmasan fries. The food was OK just not great.

Lovely place with great views right on the front. Good food and drink, lovely service, made room for our table of 8. Would recommend.

You can order from a qr code at your table or at the bar. I had a full English breakfast and tea. I ordered via the qr code and liked the way you can add or subtract items from the plate. The bacon is back bacon which was tasty. Beans were nice. Sausage and mushrooms were lovely. All food was hot. Not piping hot but hot enough. The waitress checked all was OK with me twice which I appreciated.

Came just before dinner thinking we was late for breakfast. Well what a surprise as this turned out to be one of the best breakfast I've had . Loved it. Staff were friendly

Visited twice while staying nearby, loved our first visit so went back again. Food was great, staff were super friendly and there was a cool relaxed atmosphere about the place. Highly recommend a visit if you're in St Ives.

We've eaten here 3 times while on holiday, fantastic meals, but the steak was 1st class. Compliments to the 👨‍🍳

We were in St Ives in half term and all the restaurants were booked so we could only get a walk-in here. A bit worried we could walk in without a booking but it was fine in the end. Food was fabtastic, the Cowboy Smashed burger was amazing. Service was good and staff were friendly. Can't fault it.

The lady who served me my cocktails was really polite and quick. There was a male customer before me who was extremely rude and aggressive to her and she handled it amazingly. The staff were going as fast as they could for such a busy bar and they were doing really well. Well done for handling the situation the way you did and shame on the man for being so nasty to her.

Atmosphere and service were fine. Friendly and polite staff, accompanied by a clean dining environment. The food on the other hand was very poor. Milkshake was like water with whipped cream on top. The fish finger sandwhich, for over 10 pound was a terrible excuse for a dish. Cold fish and cheap stale bread just thrown together with no real care. Although this product was refunded, this doesn’t replace the fact the food was poorly made.The cowboy burger had a generic bbq taste with no distinct flavours. Very disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend based on the price and quality.

Great location on St Ives harbor. Went here for dinner and were surprised by the nice decor and the good music. There were chicken wings, which tasted really good. There was also a smash burger, a vegetarian noodle pan and a curry. The burger and noodle pan were also good, only the curry could have been better. Nevertheless, we would come again!

We had a lovely meal in this restaurant. Good range of drinks, staff were very helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area 👌

First and foremost very friendly and attentive staff! Made to feel very welcome! Tapas section platter was 10/10 reccomend the Squid! Cocktails really good value!

Lovely & friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Incredible ambience and a beautiful view of the harbor. Personally didn't like the Caribbean chicken as it seemed a bit bland but the buttermilk chicken breast was outstanding - good flavor and huge portion size. Definitely worth a visit.

Second time I've been here for a full cooked breakfast. Friendly and happy staff and the breakfast was delicious. Lush view over the harbour while having food.

We first called in for drinks but decided to have a couple of tapas dishes. Enjoyed it so much we went for dinner the following evening. My husband is gluten free (intolerant NOT celiac), and chose the tapas dishes that all came out with GF free flags on, but unfortunately he was glutened!! Luckily it wasn’t too bad, but did put us off going again.

The food and drinks took a very long time to come out. However, the food was good and cheap so I can’t complain to much.

Very nice ‘pub’ style food, reasonably priced, comfortable sofas and nice selection of imported beers with windows that overlook the lovely beach. Very humble and friendly staff. Great experience.

I haven’t even left the restaurant yet, but I’ve never had such rude and impersonal service, ever. Asked for a side of avocado, which is clearly stated on the extras menu, and the bartender stated that she couldn’t do that. I asked for extra chili sauce for my nasi goreng, because it wasn’t much, (the sauce that was on the side of the rice on its own, not mixed in) and she said she couldn’t do it because it was included in the dish. And handed me Tabasco. These are basic accommodations and I didn’t feel welcome at all. Never in my thirty years have I ever written a negative review. I am so shocked. She rolled her eyes at me, glaring at us, etc. So decent food, nice environment upstairs, came out quick, but customer service really affected the experience. Cheers.

Called in for a spot of lunch. Very good selection and reasonable prices. Fabulous views from the Upper floor over the harbour. The staff was very helpful and attentive, ordering was easy and the food was first class. We'll definitely be back! Especially for the 2 for £12 cocktails from 5pm!!

Perfect for a tea/cake break, comfortably seated in armchairs and sofas. Bonus: the view of the port, we were even able to observe a seal!

Decent food with a great selection on the menu to order from. The poached eggs with salmon were delicious but the mushrooms could have been better. The cheddar and sweetcorn fritters were so delicious it was ridiculous! When we visited the service was a bit lack lustre and needed improvement but this was over a year ago so could be better now, keep that in mind. By the sea so you can eat with a superb view and I believe they are dog friendly too.

We have been coming in here everytime we visit St Ives & it is the best breakfast around. The food to top quality, presentation is perfect ,hot plates & just totally delicious. The staff are very friendly & very polite.

We stopped by the Lounge for dinner. It's dog friendly, like all the other Lounges which is great. We visited mid week in October so it was pretty quiet. Decided to give the tapas a go. It was 3 dishes for £13.25 (on a Thursday you get a free glass of house wine in that price!) I ordered 3 dishes and was rather disappointed at how small the dishes were. Luckily i ordered a mac and cheese to try on the side! All the tapas dishes came out just about lukewarm. The salt and pepper squid was a bit to greasy and a bit to chewy. The Beef quesadilla was nice, but very small. The maple fried chicken wings were nice, but lukewarm again. The wife had a the burger which was nice. Staff were all pleasant, just a shame about the lukewarm small portion sixes of the tapas. certainly not up to the standards of other Lounges we have been to.

Great food, cocktails, service. But glace cherries in cocktails? Seriously? Where's the marachino? They'll be serving their cocktails in coffee mugs next! All said, great meal!

After coming here from a recommendation from last year we recommended this to one of our friends thinking this would be good food and great atmosphere … completely wrong !! as soon as we entered the building we were treated with hostility, totally abrupt waitress if that’s what you would call her … food was cold, sent back due to incompetence… will never return !

Waitress was very rude. Food came out cold. We spent £180 as we were a party of 6. I forgot to bring my glasses so could not read the menu. I asked the young girl at the till for some help only go be told in a brumpt response.

We were a party of 6 and spent £175 on our experience. My friend who is the loveliest guy was spoken to by a young waitress like a piece of dirt. Further more the food was cold. (Chicken wings on tapas). To be fair the manager did offer my husband a pint because his food had to be sent back as it was cold but came back microwaved to death. The wings were still cold. We were told they had no microwave!!. Not impressed. Really sorry but this was for my friends birthday. Would not recommend. Need some older more respectful people to deal with the customers.

The food here is pretty good. It was not too expensive so it's a nice treat in these challenging times where money is tight. They have a wide selection to choose from and they can cater for dietary needs like myself a dairy free.

Visited for an evening meal and had the most perfect time . The service was fantastic especially as I coeliac and the manageress could not have been more helpful and reassuring. The protocols were explained to me and I was shown the allergy information for my choices . The meal was absolutely delicious, I had the halloumi burger followed by the brownie sundae with salted caramel. Boyfriend had the chicken bacon and avacado burger and warm brownie with ice cream . We absolutely loved the food and will definitely return . Our pug was made to feel welcome and enjoyed a few treats from the jar on the bar . Fabulous evening thank you 😊

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Tretho lounge today. I’d personally like to thank all members of staff who made our visit so relaxed and enjoyable. We visited with our autistic son, who can find restaurants tricky due to noise, we asked if the music could be turned down a little, which the member of staff kindly did without hesitation. Another member of staff then came to the table with a fidget toy (I believe left over from Halloween), this was very gratefully received, Will absolutely loved it, it kept him calm and busy which enabled us all to sit and enjoy our meal, something that can be difficult for us to do. Wonderful customer service, thank you.

Nice meal...cold chips...when i told the waiter got an eye roll.(lol)...but replaced quickly....enjoyed the meal...and would eat there again as am local....

Excellent Food !! We ordered a spread of different dishes, both tapas and mains, and all of them hit the spot. They have very good vegetarian and vegan options as well, if your are one. Make sure you sit on the top floor where you can get the best views of the Cornish sea. The drinks menu could be enhanced, and they could consider improving the portion size, but all in all, the food was ridiculously tasty.

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Plenty of space and lots of tables. If you are lucky, as we were, you can get a window table upstairs looking out over the harbour (and it was high tide too!) My American wife is used to New York-standard burgers and doesn't usually like 'British' ones but this time she definitely approved! I'm not that keen on burgers but even I liked it when she gave me a piece. I had the beef brisket chilli with spicy rice and a big, long, cold Hofmeister. Wonderful design, decor, food and atmosphere. Just discovered a new 'Lounge' has opened in our home town near Bristol so we'll definitely be going! 5*****

Lounges are a 'you know what you're going to get' type of place. Very consistent with others I've visited. The person that seated us told us that our dog had to be well behaved, I hope he tells parents the same of their children.... Was a nice spot for a coffee in St Ives.

Tretho Lounge, fabulous welcome with lovely staff. Great start. My partner had the Chimichurri burger and I had the Rose’s Chicken with truffle and mushroom sauce crispy bacon. Both were very tasty indeed. Sticky toffee pudding to finish. Ohhh so good. Lovely evening atmosphere with a sea view beautiful . Thank you for a lovely experience I can’t fault this place. It’s a must when visiting St Ives.

Lovely venue - recommend the soup and cappuccino!

The staff was great and friendly. Lovely ambience and a nice view from the window tables. We had the tapas sharing platter of arancini, honey whipped feta with pita, and salt and pepper squid. All three dishes were very tasty. It would have been nice to have more pita as it wasn't enough to eat the feta with, however we gladly took the leftovers home. The general prices on the menu were steep but slightly better than some of the other eateries on the harbour.

Lovely place, with a view of the harbour. I am dairy and gluten free which posed some issues with the system bringing up allergen awareness but staff member Aaron was lovely and patient, and built my dish from scratch on the system to ensure I got what I wanted and it was safe for me. Order probably took 10 minutes with all my demands but Aaron was just having a good joke about it. My food was amazing, and even when my husband's poached eggs were overdone, the staff happily replaced them. Brilliant value, lovely place, will be back.
