It was very busy, there were children running around and screaming on what I would call the back room and it was quite late. In the main room were smashed prossecco glasses on the floor.

Doesn't serve food but great pub super staff good night out

Lovely inside plenty of spaces to sit. Lots of televisions on at the same time around differing places which can be quite difficult to hear the person your with. Cleanliness was good. Staff on shift was lovely. Pricing maybe a bit high for what you are.

Lovely little local owned place, bar tenders are nothing short of amazing service and a friendly smile. Oh. And there's a pool table!!!!

My Favourite Pub, I Just Love the way you can just be yourself in there, it's welcoming and relaxing and tonight there was a great band on in there as well, everything and more you could possibly want and another big tick the Sport on the televisions, Lovely place to relax and unwind after working all day, fantastic, not sure if they serve food but they do do cocktails at a cocktail bar area, Superb x👍🍻

Served quickly as it wasn't too busy even for a Friday night, which made it great for a catch up with friends. Never rushed at closing time, staff always friendly.

Came in never really been in before atmosphere was great decent music prices were good we sat in the G & T room it was nice and cool with the air con on

I went to go see the band problem child (problemchildnorthwest) and its the main reason I go here as they're brilliant. Brings great atmosphere. The staff are lovely and patient especially on those busy nights being run off their feet. Well done to the staff 👏

Avoid avoid avoid. Not a great pub to be honest. It is lacking in atmosphere and attracts unpleasant people. Staff are okay but sadly the pub is not great. Red Lion is 2 min away and attracts great people has a good atmosphere and staff are sound.

Great pub worked here for ten years bar kitchen .not as it was but never a dull night. Always . Worth an hour or 3

I went there for a drink with mates, well to say the very least It was terrible. The staff were very rude, the drinks way ro expensive and when you sit down you feel like people are watching you. There not looking at you there watching one of the way to many TVs on the wall that are situated above the seats!!

Boring. Big pub, doesn't look as though it does food and no doubles bar. If you like mainstream lager or cold flavour less bitter this is the place for you. I won't be going there again.

Nice little pub, loads of staff on at busy times so service is still quick. Friday/Saturday nights usually have a DJ on playing either wedding function room songs or straight to mad wigan pier tunes. Always busy on the weekend and good mix of people. Also they have updated all their televisions and projectors. Everything is now crystal clear for all the sports which is amazing. If I am down these ways on weekends I tend to watch the football here. Also the toilets got done up a while back and are much nicer. Only reason for 4 stars is it is expensive. Probably similar price to other locals here, but still costs more than most places in town (Liverpool). Also sadly no cask ale offered at this pub. Which is a first to me.

Barman nice. The football was on which was good as from where I was sat there were plenty of screens, customers looked a bit rough although quite, swore a lot and not even at the football either.

Decebt pub for a Friday or Saturday night drink.

We can currently see that your pub has at least 15 men standing around at the bar and I live in Butte Montana USA.

Popped in on our way back to our hotel we could have sat outside in the beer garden but it was a bit smokey. Went inside 3 or 4 different rooms to choose from. The main room/bar had a live DJ which was quite loud so we went into one of the side rooms to chat. Comfy chairs and we could hear the music at a comfortable level. Quite busy but plenty of seating. Drinks were a reasonable price and the usual choice.

One of the best places to drink in Ellesmere Port nice friendly staff responsible price's always a good atmosphere.

Called in with friends for a drink, nice atmosphere, shame there were tvs everywhere you looked, be nice to have an area where you not bombarded with sport, although hubby didnt mind.

Good local pub, does some food (pizzas) and regularly has entertainment on. Ideal for sports events as the football and other sports are regularly shown including clashes (1 match on in one room, another one on in another room)

quite down market and felt dirty. remember it as a good traditional bar.

Good cheesy music. Live band playing sometimes, never any trouble whilst I've been there. Cheaper drinks than most places and good atmosphere.
