Lovely food and Nicola was an amazing server. Nothing was to much trouble. Great nails too!

Clean tidy and relaxed. Food hot and plenty of options on the meat and veg front. Polite carver (Jack) and front of house staff (Tia). Came on a Saturday lunchtime. Value for money will be back next time we fancy a carvery.

Came on a Saturday Afternoon. The best Toby I've ever been to.. Very clean, hot fresh food, great staff and service by Tia & Jack. Tables nicely spaced out so customers are not on top of each other.

We had a lovely young girl called molly serve us today. She greeted us right away with a friendly smile. We were looked after from the minute we sat down to the minute we walked out the doors. She is a credit to you! and really made our time at toby carvery Colwick pleasurable. Really hope she gets the recognition she deserves. We will be coming back soon for sure. Thanks again molly!

Food was cold, veg not cooked, roast potatoes reheated. Worst meal we have had at Toby Carvery Colwick Park.

We turned up on spec, no booking made and we're sealed quickly, and served by the brilliant MOLLY, who knows her stuff. The food was great and was piled high Damn those big serving spoons. Will defo go again .well done team well done MOLLY.

Went today Sunday carvery. Very busy and hot in there. Was sat by the door which had been left open so we had the full draft. Server was rude and didn’t explain how to order and gave a dirty look when I asked if I should go to the bar to order. Glasses give to us were dirty so my daughter expressed this and again was given a dirty look. Food was average, meat fatty, stuffing tasteless. Won’t go again in a hurry!

Tia the waitress was very friendly and helpful and the food was so much better and Russell the carver was also very friendly and good portion sizes great improvement I was impressed this time

The gammon was very fatty and the lamb was very tough. Overall it was average.

I have been to this Toby on a few occasions and have always had good food and good service. It is always busy but never had to wait for a table.

We came today ( Thurs 24th) for a birthday party of 8 & 1 take away we asked for the small room to make it a bit more special for the birthday girl..Food was lovely & hot today & we all enjoyed it The waitress Tia was very polite & gave us great service...Will def return...

The food was ok, but the plates were all very discoloured and really off putting. They look very old and are in great need of replacing

We found the staff friendly and helpful but sadly the food and atmosphere not so good. We went for Sunday lunch was our first and last visit. The meat was cooked lovely although the beef was a little fatty. The Yorkshire Pudding was lovely but the stuffing was bland and tasteless I really think it had been bulked out but no seasoning. Cauliflower cheese was ok and veg was ok. The serving area was dirty with food all on sides and on the floor too. Very disappointed as it was our first visit.

There's flies everywhere it's dirty and disgusting. If you look up at the ceiling they are all sat up there and hanging around near the food so unhygienic really put me and my son off when we noticed will not be returning again and the food is so bland.

The staff is racist. Been there last week, the male staff member was asked for assistance in locating toilet and he rudely commented cant see I am busy and said N word to his colleague while referring to me. I raised the matter with the lady (with glasses) on reception which I believed to be a Manager and she acted like its not a big deal. The male attendant yet again came there and started moaning that he dont appreciate it and I got no write to talk to him. I am 65 and customer of toby carvery from the beginning but Never going there again.

After waiting patiently in line .I asked the chef for turkey and he cut me 2 wafer thin slices off they were so thin I could almost see through them .I asked if I could have another thicker slice and his response was if you want more you will have to pay extra .very rude !!! I returned the plate and walked out .you get a better carvery at the riverside more meat and it's cheaper definitely will not be returning !!!

Had all meets and were only one was worth eating. Didn't bother going back for seconds because the queues were so long because of slow service. OK for a working dinner? But not for loved ones or family.☹️👎

Visited today, 5 of us booking was for12.30. We asked if there was a table near because my mum cannot walk far. We were given a table right next to the Carvery, and after my mum had finished putting her vegetables on her plate a very young staff member carried my mums plate to help her put gravy and sauces on her meal and then took it to the table for her. How nice to see staff enjoying there work and being really helpfull. The staff are always smiling and going out of their way to make your experience just that bit more special. The food is always great but it's the staff that make it special, really enjoyed my time there today

Slightly noisy being sat between two other groups for my wife's birthday, but Rus did an amazing job on the carvery. He was much friendlier than previous servers, and it was the best carvery we've had here.

My first visit and the food was delicious. Seb was great and did more than expected for our table. Would have been 5 stars but my friend’s Vegan Pie was badly burnt and we waited a long time for it. Would return.

Booked for a family meal. The restaurant was busy which shows the food is good. All had the carvery - it was absolutely delicious. Small queue but waited probably only 2 or 3 minutes. Carver was Ethan. Plenty of choice for the meats and the vegetables, all was piping hot. Drinks and desserts came via Server Wes who was attentive, efficient and friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Booked for family lunch yesterday Adele was our server and she was lovely looked after us so well checking we had everything we needed .Our server was Jack who again was friendly and polite . Thankyou all we will be back .

At first I thought why is it taking so long then I sure the bike he probably had 3/4 drops before me in the rain the food by then was cold no problem that wasn’t the issue it was the 2 or more mile’s he came on a bike to drop it off bikes are ok for close drops thats all

Food arrived cold. One slice of beef! If they could sort it so food is delivered hot and a decent amount of meat is included, I would order again. Based on this order, I won't be ordering again. The delivery driver was rude.

Really lovely team (Molly was our server) and good value for money. Our kids love a roast and this is their favourite place. The staff spoil them too ;) Probably something head office can sort out in the future, it’s a bit hot inside; defo needs some AC.

I regularly go for breakfast and I can say it’s excellent value for money! The buffet breakfast means you can get exactly what you want and the amount you want - what’s not to like?! It’s cheap and cheerful so you get what you pay for in terms of food quality but I must say I’ve never been disappointed! It’s my favourite way to start the weekend!

Had the roast and left with full stomach. Felt like we got small portions of meat but the unlimited sides were very good.

We went late afternoon and the food had obviously been sat there for a while and was dry. The roast potatoes, if you can call them that, were the worst I've ever had. They were rock hard in the middle. We used to go semi regularly as its a quick and convenient option for tea. This experience has put me off and we won't be back 😒

Missing my drink and cheesecake

Choice of 4 meats is good but the standard of the slice of meat given can vary depending on the time of day and day of the week. The only problem i have is that the Cauliflower cheese is no where near cooked long enough and it hard to eat. From a safety point of view which is something i have never understood is the serving tongs and spoons for the veg are put under a heat lamp so they can be very hot to pick up. I had someone going up for more veg in front of me but had to queue amongst those who were waiting for meat. Maybe need to reorganise the queuing system.

delivery driver say outside i had to find him rubbish service not happy and dinner cold now got tovwait for friend to borrow microwave not happy at all what a disgracefull service dinner cold and had to find driver really want to make formsl complaint

Food was dry and the roasties were hard. Gravy nearly solid! Looked like they'd given all the food that had been standing for a long time. Won't be having another.

Took our 88 year old aunt for lunch today (Friday). We were all impressed with the carvery - the selection of vegetables etc perfectly cooked was excellent. Service inobtrusive- just enough interaction. Value for money us outstanding. We will most definitely be back for another

Hit and miss. Visited twice within a week of each other, first time was good food bad service, 2nd time was bad food good service, so you enter at your own risk! Getting 25% off cos I downloaded their app softened the blow a little

Exterior of the building is incredibly dilapidated and very off putting. Interior was not great. However, staff were excellent and food was good

Food arrived late and stone cold. Poor packaging with no attempt to retain any heat. Yorkshire puddings arrived completely flattened in a paper bag stuffed down the side of the delivery bag.

Pearce was absolutely amazing, so kind and was such a good sport. He was so relatable and relaxed and spoke to us about lime bikes and made sure we got our desserts even though the kitchen closed in 10 minutes. Would definitely come again.

Me and my boyfriend were served by the loveliest man, we didn’t get to ask him his name. We visited today at 4:30. He was extremely attentive and had a great attention to detail. We noticed how welcoming and hospitable he was with all his tables in his section. We were very impressed with how considerate he was throughout. We had drinks, mains and dessert. A massive thank you to the lovely man!

Always excellent food and staff brilliant. Always welcoming and remember us and our grandson as we're regulars. Thanks especially to Adele and Nicola.
