Food was lovely, extremely delicious and affordable

Spent a great couple of hours here with family for Sunday lunch. Great choice of food well cooked served by great staff.The atmosphere was very friendly with all ages catered for. I would recommend and we will return soon

It's really nice to see FMC back open and doing well. Popped in for a Sunday roast last month and was really impressed with the quality of the food and the friendly service. The place was busy at Sunday lunchtime so I'd recommend booking if you want to guarantee a table. Every part was tasty and perfectly cooked. The cauliflower cheese was a highlight, only slight complaint would be that the menu states "proper gravy" but the gravy for both the pork and beef was chicken gravy (not a biggie but not what I would consider "proper gravy" for the meats). Definitely worth a try if you're a fan of a roast. We've already booked to go again 🤤

I did not pre-book but as an individual, the staff allowed me to sit down and order a meal due to having a table. I ordered the Duo Chicken Sunday Roast, absolutely worth every penny. With an alcohol free old mount, I waited 30 mins for the meal but was not dissappointed due to the quality of the food. So, the stuffing contains chicken and the pieces are incredible. Not to mention the old world Yorkshire pudding, the potatoes I could remove and was soft and fluffy inside. Parsnip was cooked to perfection along with the roasted carrot, every mouthful was a content sigh and a purr. Fantastic meal, not cheap but worth every penny.

Was a lovely dinner and didn’t have to wait too long. Staff were lovely. Portion size was brilliant. I would recommend stretchy trousers haha. Kids portion could have fed both of my little ones.

A proper 'pub' pub right in the city centre! The refurbishment has it feeling like a countryside local, we loved it. And the roast dinner is absolutely not to be missed - well thought out & really well seasoned, and clearly a homemade Yorkshire pud!! I'd really recommend adding the giant pig in a blanket too! Can't wait to come back ❤️❤️

I had the Sunday roast, plenty, and it was lovely. I lost a star because I wasn't keen on the garlic roast potatoes and the rosemary in the gravy; it was my only personal preference. Good quality food serviced by friendly people. 👍

The food was lovely. The service excellent. My only reason for reducing to four stars is I prefer less seasoning on a roast dinner. The potatoes are the best roasties I’ve had bar my own but I think they would be better without the garlic. The meat was beautifully cooked and thank god for someone actually cooking Yorkshire puddings rather than using ‘Aunt Bessie’ or similar. My only other comment was on the gravy seasoning but I do like plain gravy, again like the potatoes but it was really good. The staff are fab and super helpful, even giving us a lot of extra roasties! Thank you

First time back to the fellows morton claton after a long absence and I am impressed. Nice atmosphere, good selection of beers, larger and spirits. Friendly staff. I'm glad the television have gone plus gives the place a proper old pub vibe. Would recommend giving the pub a visit. Don't take my word, give it a go you might like it.

Arrived in Nottingham for the first time for a couple of days. First stop at the Fellows,Morton & Clayton Ltd. What an amazing welcome we experienced from both Josh and Mike both very informative of the area which we really appreciated as it was our first visit to Nottingham. The pub is a definite must for anyone wanting a welcoming chilled out vibe with a classy but comfortable ambiance. Totally recommend a visit and they offer a good quick lunch menu or a great larger main menu. We will definitely be back . Thanks for making our first visit a memorable one . Andy & Val

I tried their Sunday lunch a couple weekends ago. Booked first thing in the morning and was able to get a table for the afternoon. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The roast was incredible and best roast potatoes I have had so far. Look forward to coming again!

Visited for Sunday lunch, very nice food and we were very satisfied. Nice pint of pale ale although hubby had Guinness as the only dark option was Landlord. Overall, a nice place with decent food and drink.

Good quality coffee, very attentive staff. Mike was absolutely superb, 10/10 staff member deserves a promotion and a raise.

Great to see FMC thriving again. I took a large party of 17 for lunch today. The food was great. Nice atmosphere. Great real ales. The food came out on time. Clint was very helpful and communicative throughout both during the lead up to the meal and during the meal. We will definitely be back.

Popped in yesterday with friends for a roast and ended up staying for hours! This is a cosy pub with a lovely chilled atmosphere. There were 5 of us and we had a mix of meat and veggie roasts and all were 10/10. Cauliflower cheese as a side is a must! Service with a smile as well! Great playlist on in the background too! Great place, we will be back soon!

A very good Sunday lunch - we liked the chicken option, a generous portion of breast plus a ballotine of thigh, both nicely done. Excellent roasties, veg & Yorkies, good service. Those beers and wines we sampled were good. We'll be back to try the beef...

Y, peor aún, los últimos inquilinos lo hicieron desagradable. ¡De todos modos! Me complace informar que ha vuelto a su mejor momento. Últimamente he disfrutado de varios Timothy Taylor Boltmakers en un cálido ambiente agradable. No he comido, pero el chasquido que sale se veía bien. Espero que vuelva para siempre.

Had a brilliant roast at their first Sunday roast. Really friendly service and the vegetarian option was just as good as the meat ones which is a rarity!! Will definitely be back :))

Popped in for a beer a couple of days after it’s re-opened (again!), seems to be smarter, still got a good atmosphere, the tv’s have all gone.. the big issue for me was the choice of beer. Craft, craft, craft, lager, lager, Guinness. I’m a real ale fan so I’m sorry but I’ll always go to the Canal House or Vat & Fiddle & never here.

Absolutely brilliant place, great bar snacks and great beer with a lovely landlord. Will certainly be returning regularly. Great layout with loads of space, both for regular drinkers and private events

It’s sad that I have to provide a bad review for this bar. I was here this evening with friends for my 30th birthday celebrations. The individual who was operating the karaoke equipment is nothing less than pathetic. This poor man should be removed from the premises before he does any further damage to its reputation. After suffering from what can only be described as homophobic abuse from this individual, the remainder of the staff were more than helpful. Sadly, this doesn’t take away from the abuse. Myself and friends decided to leave this establishment in search of more accepting premises. This was a huge shame & I thank the bar man who came to speak to me afterwards. He was the kind of human that should be championing this bar.

It was our last stop before walking back to Castle Marina... from going to see Michael McIntyre. Friendly staff, they made us welcome, Karaoke on....we stayed until they closed at 12am.... it's run by a lovely 4 person team who have been running the reopened pub these last 10-11weeks.. I wish them well and hope they become a successful venue.... Will definitely call back next time we visit Nottingham... GOOD LUCK.....

Great spot in Nottingham! Came here on a stag do, on Kareoke night, The bar staff and the DJ were a good laugh, very welcoming. Spent a few hours here in the end, well worth the visit.

Came here for a few drinks with my friend and has to be one of the friendliest and funnest pubs in Nottingham! A fantastic Karaoke DJ and a great vibe across the pub. Went in and got a warm welcome from Lee and Amy. An amazing selection of beers, ales and ciders. Went in for 1 or 2 and ended up staying for the whole day. Ordered the bah humbug ale and it was great. Lee and Amy were very accurate and knowledgeable about the ale. I then ordered 2 pizzas at 2 for 17 and they were amazing. The chef (Dee) came out to ask about the food and I told her it was amazing. Later in the evening a gentleman called keano (had to ask how his name was spelt) started the karaoke. He sang a few songs and kept the crowd happy. Loved every second of it and will be back. Thanks for everything guys keep up the good work.

Stopped in here with my husband and son tonight and the staff was absolutely lovely. They brought a big box of crayons and coloring sheets over for my three-year-old and it made his day. We really enjoyed our pints and the chef whipped up a lovely ploughman’s for me. Very family-friendly place!

Good pub about five minutes walk from Nottingham Railway Station. Three cask beers on handpump when I visited. Some outdoor seating in a small garden to the rear. The pub, which is Grade II-listed, was originally a Victorian office building built in 1895 for the coal carrying company of the same name. It was converted to a public house in 1980-81.

Absolute gem of a pub! Very cosy and lovely - I went in winter and they have mulled wine and lights and all sorts. I think there is a garden as well, will return in summer to find out. I brought our dog and our kids, and the people working at the pub were absolutely lovely, bringing over water and colouring books and generally making sure everyone was happy and having a nice time. Great atmosphere, will definitely return!

This pub used to be so good. But went in and asked if can put Bt sport on for the football and got shouted at, said we've never had it here while I've been here. s Some lady who said she the only one could use the till. Would of stayed if she politely let us know. Don't normally give bad reviews but gutted this isn't the same now you've got rude staff. Hopefully try again in the future

Well, the new owners know how to keep punters happy! Warm welcome from busy, personable bar staff, so refreshing to be acknowledged when you enter a busy pub. Still has previous cosy atmos & good outdoor seating area. We had a late lunch & drinky on Friday afternoon & the 2 pizzas & 1 chips were fresh, tasty & of generous proportions. The conscientous chef came out to us for feedback & gave us a pizza box so we cd take our uneaten slices home, which was a nice touch. Another chap, Chris, (landlord?) also had a chat with us about their plans. Overall, we found it a great experience & very female friendly. Than-q team!

Under new management which is welcomed. Great location and a really old interesting pub filled with history. Service and cleanliness was great. As was the pizza which is cooked in a pizza oven... and it shows ! Shows live sports on multiple screens too.

An amazing pub with new owners, been here a few times over the last week and the beer is great and an awesome pub feel right at home and dogs are allowed. We came to watch the rugby and some football games we will definitely be back again.

The new management moved in on Wednesday 20th September. Opened on Thursday. Grand opening today. What a team. Friendly, professional and quickly sorting out any teething problems. If they can do this on day 3 ,I can't wait to get back there. It's only going to get better and better. Did I mention, free pizza, yummy 😋. A 100 Mike round trip , so worth it. I was here on a Thursday evening around 5:30. It wasn't too busy or noisy and a great pint!

Came down from Newcastle Upon Tyne to visit daughter at uni. Food was amazing, had a couple of sharing platters plus pizza cone. Gorgeous food, great atmosphere, lovely staff. Highly recommend ❤️
